Hello, I got inspired by @oatsimss cute golfing post and so I built this country club on the 64x64 lot in Brindleton Bay. It has a golf course, tennis court, indoor pool, spa, restaurant, bar and gym. It is quite CC heavy and I used quite a few packs so I am sorry about that, but it is a huge build. I have linked all the CC I used down below. Feel free to do with this lot as you wish but tag me as I would love to see if anyone does end up using it. This is my first build and so if something is missing let me know and I will provide any missing links. This functions as a restaurant, gym, bar, spa, pool, & lounge :)

Okay so here’s the setup. Essentially I am doing a BACC.

BUT I didn’t think any of the rules I found that converted this style of play for ts4 really fit what I wanted to do. Also I can be a bit controlling about my maps in earlier versions of the game and as a result I feel VERY stifled by the map system in ts4 so the choice to do this had to be built differently for me with this in mind. It focuses more on getting a taste for unique gameplay that world has to offer rather than actually building a community from scratch, though there will be of course some of that.

The Henford Era - Here are the Guidelines

Gameplay Style:

Rotational 1 week per household once main group is divided

I will make heavy use of clubs to automate parts of gameplay

Relationship related whims will be given priority in gameplay

Moving people to their own lots and moving new folks into the world will be done at my discretion and likely sim directed.

I haven't played for ages, yesterday I was a bit down and I opened the game just to try out the new mods and can I say I still love how The Sims 3 is still treated so well? I love this mod!

Anyway I have many drafts saved from a lifetime regarding the 2t4 Maxis uberhood of TS4 and the other challenge I'm doing on TS3 (the store worlds) that I don't know if I will continue to publish.

Maybe I'll keep posting some TS4 screenshots, but I'm undecided about the Store World Challenge because I forgot to take pictures, playing in speedrun 😥

Basically the first generation requires having the perfect garden and reach LV 10 of the gardener career, but autumn has come into the game and all the plants have gone into "hibernation", so for all autumn and winter I was stuck and could not do anything anymore.

In Riverview then there is nothing to do, there are no clubs, there are no interesting lots, nothing at all (it really is a country for the elders!) and I don't want to add anything. I want to experience the vibes of every world of the store without adding anything.

So having done nothing but take care of the family I didn't have any interesting screenshots to post... and now that Dawn is old and it's spring I'm seriously afraid I won't be able to finish the challenge before she dies. The seasons have slowed me down too much.

My intention now is to post the screenshots I already have and then start taking frequent screenshots from now on doing a little summary of everything that happened. So I will recovery everything.

Also, I haven't forgotten about The Sims 2, but I'm still restoring that backup after that story of the corrupted saves because of those famous infected CCs 😭

Dee's success has not gone unnoticed -

The ladies of the Willow Creek Country Club have been keeping close tabs on her achievements and unanimously agreed to send her an invitation to the club. Dee was so humbled to receive the call. The Willow Creek Country Club has a reputation of fostering the growth of ambitious young women to achieve their highest potential.

Current members include (clockwise from top left) Gwendolyn Huntington (mother of J Huntington III, Heiress), Alice Lewis (curator of Willow Creek Museum and Gallery), Nancy Landgraab (CFO of Landgraab Industries), Eliza Scott (previously Eliza Pancakes, Head of the Department of Education), Clara Bjergsen (Celebrity Chef and Restaurateur), Bella Goth (Deputy Director of S.I.M.S), Summer Huntington (previously Summer Holiday, Heiress) and Alex Huntington (previously Alex Moyer, Simstagram Influencer - not pictured).

[I didn't plan them inviting her at all, but I'm loving this arc for Dee. She needs some strong and powerful women to mentor her. But the Country Club is not all as it seems. These ladies are the matriarchs of some very important and influential families and aren't to be underestimated. They are pioneers of manipulation and deception, ruthless and cold hearted. Hopefully, Dee can hold her own and she won't get eaten alive.]

A neat thing about this holiday, which I didn’t expect, was that they all stayed over. “Invite guests” was one of the holiday traditions. I’m not sure if it was supposed to work this way or not, but as the night went on and everyone got tired, they just never went home, lol!

So I put up some inflatable beds around the house. I put Topher on a travel cot in the hallway, the only place I could find room. (Mommy me is like OMG, but thankfully TS4 toddlers can’t fall down the stairs!) I put the girls to sleep in Aurora’s bed, and Aurora took the couch. Then Nate and Ally were also super tired—they wouldn’t autonomously go to sleep, but they wouldn’t go home, either. They just kept drinking coffee. So I eventually had to use club rules to encourage them to sleep on inflatable in the living room, which they did.

And it all felt very realistic. Like, family traveling from across the country and just sleeping all over wherever there’s room.

Zodiac Legacy Challenge for the Sims 3

If you’re like me, I like a good legacy challenge with nice themes/aesthetics to place/plan out with each heir with enough wiggle room for creative interpretations. No. Well I’ve always wanted to do a zodiac legacy challenge but could never find the rules for TS3 or most of them were made for TS4. So I guess I thought I would just make one then.

This was all made on a whim but it’s a strong whim. So enjoy the whim. “@” me if you use the rules since I didn’t come up with a tag for this.

General Rules:

Finish the goals provided for each sign

You can move onto the next generation when all goals are met or you maintain them until the heir has aged up or both. Up to you.

You can start on any sign but you must go in order afterwards.

If I were to start on Leo, I would have to do Virgo next.

You can select any of the careers provided for the generation.

You don’t have to use all the traits assigned to a sign, but 1-2 are required.

You can use colors for aesthetic purposes/berry purposes, but they are not required.
