Tested out Jergens Ultra Care Restoring Argan Moisturizer I've been using Jergens products since I was a teen for either my dry skin or their gradual tanning line. Used it both day and night. During the morning I used it after my shower to moisturize my legs after shaving. I also used it in the evening to treat my eczema on my elbows, I figured it'd take a bit to soak in. It soaks in with about a minute so no need to wait a half hour like my regular moisturizer. This may be due to it being a moisturizer with an oil in it. Little to no scent. I’ve had the opportunity to try out the Smashbox Photo Finish Fresh Setting Powder in shade 01 for free from TopBox. Unlike most powders this one actually matches my skin tone very well. It’s soft and light to touch, it blends nicely and leaves my foundation looking flawless. I enjoy this powder a lot because it doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t accentuate my lines or create creasing. Something I’ve always struggled with is having crazy dry skin. And now that I am getting older, I am finding some products that worked in the past aren’t doing the same job. So I’ve been on the hunt for a new goto moisturizer. I was asked to try out the new @jergensca oil-infused Nourishing Honey Moisturizer and so far, I’m really liking it. It has a nice light smell and really seems to nourish my skin. I don’t feel like I need to reapply halfway through the day. When I am in shorts and skirts all summer the last thing I want is dry, flakiness on my legs. Happy Monday! 💕🍵 . Sharing a #matchapinkmonday shelfie with some pink and green faves! . I’ve been trying out a couple products recently thanks to @lovebeautyandplanet @cakebeauty and @topbox. I was sent samples of the Rose Shampoo and Conditioner. I love that LBP is a vegan and cruelty free brand that is silicone, paraben, and dye free. The shampoo is quite lovely, but I feel that the conditioner leaves my hair feeling heavier and not as hydrated as I would like. It is coconut oil based and I find my fine hair doesn’t do the best with coconut oil conditioners. I do quite enjoy the Rose scent though! The Cake body butter cream smells fantastic, like a tropical citrus dream! It is a thick, rich, moisturizing lotion that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy once rubbed in, which I really like! As someone who often changed their hair colour I really need to find products that WORK to keep my colour bright and fresh. This entails a super well planned regime that I have developed over YEARS of having bright fun colours. Part of this involves using colour safe/SLS free shampoo and conditioner.
