This is me wanting to draw that Gohan and Goten reunion we never got in the buu saga. Like both were dead and one thought the other to be dead.
This started cause I was talking to a friend of Gotens character in regards to Goku at first Goku is hyped up to him this untouchable heroic hero. He sees how everyone feels about him but he feels not much for his Dad other what he was told and he’s scared to approach. Then, reality kicks in his Dad isn’t that… Gohan is “killed” and Goten and Trunks and thrusted into the role of saviors of the Earth. Goten resents him but then… he learns that Goku isn’t none of that he’s real, super approachable, and awesome. It beat the stories he was told.
Then, he realizes he never felt he was missing that love because he had a lot of it. Gohan was always there for him making sure nothing was missing for Goten. Goten realizes he is very lucky to have Gohan. Anyway not me explaining my comic in the comments

So I translated these two pages! And I'd like to use the opportunity to talk about shotacon
As you know, Shota (and shotacon) is being attracted to kids (aka, pedophilia). And yes, CP and pedophilia are wrong, horrible crimes. But I'd like to mention how the word can be used for laughs, especially in Dragon Ball (insert Bulma lifting her pajamas to Roshi...).
it's important to be able to appreciate "the kid omg must hug him he's adorbz" big big crush + "who are you?? he's mine!!" grumpy fights for laughs... all while agreeing that plain straight up CP is bad.
If someone sees these two pages and say "yup, this is CP".. I honestly don't know what to tell them.

I just had two dreams in quick succession that had me groggily coming out of them with tears in my eyes. Both of them centered around some symbol that was clearly of importance to me, but that I don't actually recognize. One I saved from its own guilt so I could embrace it again, and the other I tried to nurture back to health when she was on her last limb. Both dreams spoke to how much I cared about the figures in them— but I don't know that fox, I don't know that tree. Why did I want to reconnect with them so badly? Why did I want to save them so badly?
#I'm shaken#the last one was about the tree and i just transitioned out of the dream with tears *streaming* down my face#i was trying to replant it when it was barely even a shred of what it once was. just a section of its trunk i could hold in my hands#and i was receiving help from someone else who's opinion i valued. she didn't care that we were digging a hole in her yard#she knew it was important to me#i had so much history with that tree. it had clearly been in my life for a long time#same for the fox#he was represented first in the dream as a dog my grandparents used to have#but he didn't remember me#so i went on a journey to try and find the real him so i could talk to him#and when i found him he was this huge shadowy fox that wanted to hide from me#he actually sang? as i convinced him to let it go so i could hug him again#and the song was beautiful. a part of it is still echoing in my head as if it were real#but what does it all mean?
