If I got a nickel every time a cartoon I love

based on a book

based on mythology

about a teenage boy

who stumbles upon an ancient artifact that gives him powers

that's being sought by this cocky guy with daddy issues

who's right arm is mechanical some of the time

and his Dad is this massive guy with big horns (and sometimes glowy blue eye(s))

who's being manipulated by a powerful woman

that he freed from her centuries old prison

who may have had noble ambitions in the past, but now has been consumed by power

and the woman possesses a young girl in order to get what she wants

and sacrifices the lives of her minions in order to unleash her ultimate weapon ->

(Dozens of Gum Gums) (Spider Queen, Huntsman, Syntax, Goliath, Not- Mayor) You know what I'm talking about :(

and she's got this indentured servant *cough Slave cough* (with pretty gold eyes 😘)

who she refers to as "Her Champion"

who travels using shadows (I could not find a single picture of Angor Rot using his shadow staff)

who was really sweet and kind in his past but then... well... stuff happened

and has lost his right eye

and he's been killed before

but the big bad restores him back to life so she can use him

and he gets a redemption arc at the end of season three

and the main character doesn't have a bio Dad, but he attracts plenty of father figures throughout the course of the show

and he gains a non-human form that makes him even more powerful

and him and the others gain an armor upgrade at the same time

and the girl of the team has short black hair with dyed stripes

and you know the guy with daddy issues who wanted to steal his artifact in the beginning? He becomes one of the protagonist's closest friends

and there's this gentle giant character

who becomes one of my most beloved characters of all time 💕💕💕

and he has a history of violence and trauma

and has now vowed to be a devote pacifist

but breaks his vow in order to protect the people he loves (with angry glowy eyes to boot)

and has a deep love for cats (yes, I did just do that)

...then I would have two nickels.

Which isn't very much, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

What the heck happened?!?! This was just supposed to be a comparison between Sandy and AAARRRGGHH!!! Where did all these comparisons come from?!?!?!?!?! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?

Redrawing of old art

A lot of time has passed since my very first art with Azura. I can't help but notice that the atmosphere created by this art is simply magnificent. It significantly exceeds what was achieved in 2020. My initial drawing was created spontaneously and awkwardly. However, it's time to update it and breathe new life into it. Visually, he looks quite attractive, especially the hair and shadows, which are of particular interest. To be honest, I myself did not expect to achieve such a result. In the new work I improved almost all aspects: dynamics, composition, light and color.

It's also worth noting that I not only improved the atmosphere and appearance of Azura art, but also made changes to her clothing style. I'm constantly experimenting with different designs, trying to find the perfect combination. This is a fairly labor-intensive process that requires attention to detail and creativity. I explore different options and variations to choose the one that suits me best. I'm still working on creating an outfit that will not only highlight Azura's uniqueness, but also fit harmoniously into the overall concept.

Thinking about how troll Jim would have to adjust to living as a troll and such

(I do not acknowledge the movie at all I’m a hater 😋)

This is basically going off of just trollhunters show canon after part 3

A big thing I think would be his love of cooking. It’s always been his way of showing love to his mom and friends, and now that he can’t properly taste human food without gagging, he can’t properly cook anymore. Blinky would have to teach him proper troll nutrition and Jim would probably feel embarrassed that he’s resorted to eating dish ware 😭

I feel like it’s not really acknowledged how not only can Jim no longer participate in human life and stuff, but people would also notice?? I imagine barbara would have to claim he went off to some boarding school on a scholarship in like the UK 😭 I can’t imagine that his classmates wouldn’t notice he’s gone tbh. Toby, Claire, and strickler probably have their hands full making excuses for Jim’s absence

On the topic of Jim not being able to go to school…. Can we acknowledge that bro is still like 16-17 💀 there’s no way that blinky would let him permanently halt his education! Blinky would read up on grade 12 textbooks and become Jim’s private tutor down in trollmarket. Jim would probably claim that being the trollhunter should take priority over algebra but Blinky (and Barbara) would INSIST that being a half troll is no excuse to become a high school dropout 😌

Strickler would definitely be a big help for Jim. Of course Jim can’t turn back into a human but Strickler still knows what it’s like to be stuck between the nature and worlds of a troll and human. He would talk with Jim through his new emotions and instincts and teach him how to cope with it. Neither Barbara nor blinky would really know how to help in this department because neither of them have had to be anything besides just a human or just a troll

At first Toby would think that Jim’s new form is really cool but he would quickly realize that it’s very hard on Jim and that his daily life with his best buddy isn’t necessarily over but it’ll never be the same. All of Jim’s friends probably have a absolutely butchered sleep schedule from trying to spend time with Jim after dark 💀

Barbara would spend a lot of time talking to strickler and blinky about their basically 3 way coparenting situation of a half troll 😭💞

Arrrghh would help Jim spar in the most pacifist way possible (holding out his hands for Jim to try and punch, be a moving target for Jim to try and catch, lightly roughhousing) since Blinky isn’t really trained in battle beyond teaching from the sidelines lol
