Fukuoka Pilgrimage: finale
The next morning I was up sort of early , I had my breakfast, showered and took off to buy lunch for the train ride home and do a little sightseeing. I found a Subway sandwich shop not too far from the hotel and got something to go. I was tired of Rice balls, so wanted a real sandwich with something I liked but not settled for. They did not serve meals on the Shinkansen so I needed to be ready…

the melllltiest, softest tofu i’ve ever had, felt like a cloud in my mouth ;w;… they serve the tofu freshly prepared at your table! enjoy the rest of your food while the tofu warms and coagulates on a fire lit when you start your meal, and once it’s ready cut the tofu yourself and serve. i think my favorite dish was the tofu egg roll… i love tofu so i miss this sooo muccchh

Come Explore Wakayama Nachi Falls In This Amazing All-around Documentary Tour!
Entering the Kumano Nachi Taisha grand shrine, we discover a hollowed-out trunk of an ancient Camphor tree, believed to have stood for 850 years. Walking through with a gomagi or ema is said to cleanse one's spirit. Adjacent to the shrine stands the historic Nachisan Seigantoji Temple, with its magnificent architecture and the famous three-storied pagoda.
As we approach the Nachi Falls, the sound of rushing water grows louder. This magnificent waterfall drops an uninterrupted 133 meters, proudly holding the title of Japan's highest uninterrupted waterfall! At its base, we find the serene Hitaki shrine. Descending the hill on the enchanting Ghibli path, surrounded by nature's beauty and fresh air, we feel a sense of peace.
For a lasting memory, we can purchase a professional photo from a photographer capturing this magical spot. There's even an option to get closer to the falls by paying a small entrance fee. Lucky charms and fascinating water-revealing charms await inside, providing a truly enchanting experience.
