A seeker Quartet.

(Iron Factory "Shrikes Feather" (Slipstream) and the "wing guard" (Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp using a Slipstream-style feminine seeker body).)

Happy Halloween!

Photoshoot of APC Cliffjumper and other tfp figures, both real and APC knock offs.

Honestly, APC Cliffjumper was figure I bought because of its accessories.

Cliffjumper's a character I could have passed on for my tfp collection as I think he spends more on screen time dead than he does alive! And he never really interacts with any other Autobot besides Arcee.

But APC Cliffjumper came with figurines of the three kids which is what clinched it for me. It seems kinda odd they'd come with Cliffjumper as he's dead before any of the kids even meet the bots! Unfortunately the kid figurines only really scale properly with Arcee and Airachnid (because those two are much larger than they should be) XD

A word of warning for anyone planning on buying this apparently there's two KO first edition Cliffjumper's by two different companies on the market right now. If you want the one with the kid figurines you have to get the APC version, not the AC version.

I admit I do have mixed feelings about buying straight up mould knockoffs like the APC figures... But I don't like the "G1-ified" prime characters Hasbro is currently doing, (I tried to like them but they just don't work for me, with the possible exception of skyquake/dreadwing.) But at least the first edition toys are long out of production and never saw a proper retail release outside of Japan, so the real versions are expensive and hard to come by. (It's weird how much of the tfp line was Japanese exclusive despite the fact the show apparently did pretty poorly over there, I suspect because of Takara's attempts to turn it into a comedy. Dark "serious" visuals and a comedy dub probably didn't mix well XD)
