TFP soundwave, knockout, Optimus and rachet realizing their human s/o who’s in their early 20s is loosing their vision and their s/o explaining that most doctors wouldn’t give her corrective surgery until she’s 25 (this is the age the human eye stabilizes after reaching full size in late teens). They wear glasses and get new ones when their current ones stop working but it can still make navigating low light areas and reading things at a distance difficult.

I really loved your request! My brother has that condition and we had that conversation with like twenty different docs, all refused to do the surgery till he's 25 and now he has to change his glasses like every 2-4 month cause it's getting worse and even with his glasses he’s almost blind. So if you have that condition or one of your family members, you're not alone, stay strong <3

(I don’t think I did your request justice but I hope like it anyways)

Ratchet:

- When you both started dating you already had glasses and he wouldn’t think much of it, cause he knows some human just need them to see the way other humans without glasses do

- But after a while he would notice that you change your glasses pretty often and you vision seemed to get worse

- He would ask you about it and you would tell him why you’d have to change them pretty often

- He would remember that you told him pretty early in the dating phase that you have an eye condition but till now he didn’t realize it was that “bad”.

- After that he drove you from doc to doc, just to hear the same thing again and again from every single doctor you visit, that they can't make the surgery you need till your twenty five or older.

- He knows how much it troubles you, so he would try his best to comfort you.

-He already searched for a way to help you with your condition but without the surgery nothing really stopped your eyes from getting worse.

- You wouldn't know it, but he would worry that you would get blind before you're able to get the needed surgery.

- It would break his Spark to see you cry after another visit by your doc, telling you your eyes got worse again.

- He would watch you often, just to know what you do and how you behave with your restricted view to make things easier for you without your knowing.

- He wants you to feel normal so the changes are small but they help you.

- He would installed more lights in the base and your shared bedroom.

- He removes every single dangerous corner or elevations where you could injure yourself.

- He teaches the kids to be careful around you, he might be a little to harsh to them but he doesn't want you to get hurt.

-He knows you have difficulties with reading thinks that are a little further away so he would make sure that everything that is important is readable for you.

- He would teach himself Braille and help you to learn it too just for the worse case

- He wants you to be happy so he would make sure that everything you want to see you'll see before things might get worse

- If no human doctor is going to help you, he would search for a way to help you.

Optimus Prime:

- The worst thing for him would be to have to admit to himself that you, his human, could possibly go blind before you could get the needed surgery.

- It would be the slight but steady changes in your daily routine that hurts him deeply

- thinks you could read just a month ago is now unreadable for you

- He knows cause he’s so tall you can’t really see his face after a while, so he would pick you up just so you could see his face or better his optics.

- He wants you to know how much he loves you, and his optics are a portal to see his spark or what humans call it, his soul.

- He's there for you no matter what.

-He would be there at all of your doctor's appointments

- He would ask his friends and the other humans to treat you normal, even though he would ask them to take care of you, not cause he thinks you need to take care of but he knows because of him you’re already in great danger.

- He's worried that you might hurt yourself cause of your view so every single corner or thing you could hurt yourself is out of your reach, so that at night you’re safe even though you don’t make light.

- He knows how much it troubles you that others (especially humans) see you as weak or make fun of your vision.

- He knows how much you want that surgery so he would ask fowler if there's anything he can do for you.

- Even if you don’t say it out loud he knows you sees yourself as a freak and that you sometimes hate yourself just because of your eyes

- He would try anything to make sure you know that you’re perfect the way you are.

- He’s by your side, and he makes sure that you can enjoy your live

Soundwave:

- You wouldn’t need to tell him that something is different with your eyes cause the first time you’re on the nemesis, it would be your personal hell

- The nemesis is dark as hell, there’s barely any light and you’re now fu cked

- He would ask you about it tho, but after he’s got you somewhere where you can see him at least

- He wouldn’t quite understand it, the human body is fully grown at the age of 16-18 but you’re eyes and brain isn’t till your 25?

- He would do some research on your condition but the more learns, the more he worries.

- Without that surgery you eyes only get worse

- He knows how much it costs to buy/ make new glasses so he would make sure that you have enough money so it wouldn’t hurt your pocket

- He would ask shockwave to create you a tool so you can “see” in the dark and he wouldn’t have to worry that some Bot might step on you when you’re walking through the nemesis to get to him, or that you might get lost somewhere where he can’t reach you.

- But he knows that it's not a long-term solution so he would search for a way that you can get the surgery before you turn 25

- One if his cassettes are always there for you and with you, they’re not going to leave your side.

- He would try his best to let you feel normal so he would make sure that you stay far far away from Starscream.

- He’s always there for you, comforts you in your dark times and shows you things he thinks you might like

- He would create you your own cassette, like a service dog just better cause he can read and see things that you can’t and would help you to go trough your daily routine as a human

Knockout:

- Same like soundwave he would notice your difficulty’s with dark places the moment he takes you to the nemesis.

- He knows you have an eye condition but he would really think of it till now.

- ofc there were moments he thought you ducked with him cause you couldn’t read things that were just a few feet from you but to be real, he wouldn’t really mind.

- He drives you everywhere so you don’t need to read road signs.

- but he would notice the slight changes after your first time on the Nemesis, things you could read two months ago are now impossible to read for you.

- After that he asks you about it, he wants to know what’s up with your eyes.

- The truth hits him like a train, you’re eyes are getting worse? You might get blind before you can make the surgery to prevent you from getting blind!?

- He would curse the human technology cause it’s so primitive.

- He would ask soundwave to help him find a solution for you, his human S/O

- He would even go as far as kidnapping eye specialists to find a way to help you before you're 25.

- If they can’t help you, maybe shockwave and him can

- For you he would try to get that logical bot to help him

- knockout try’s his best to “ignore” your condition just so he and you could feel like any normal couple doing couple stuff

- He would take you to trips so you can see the things you want to see before things might get worse

Heal Me! (Bayverse Optimus X Human Reader) Headcanons!

To set the mood: Trailer

At first, Optimus was hesitant and did not trust you, either because you were a complete stranger or because he had been betrayed many times before. However, as time passed and you and the Autobots became closer and worked together, you became great friends with both the Autobots and Optimus.

You would always leave Optimus being inspired by your acts and words. He would show a lot of respect for you.

Whenever Optimus or the other Autobots were harmed, no matter how slight or severe, you would become extremely anxious, and Optimus would find it adorable.

Optimus really wouldn't get any time to talk to you, either because of him being busy or you being busy but when he does, that is during midnight, you both would engage in a rather in conversation talking about your private lives or past. Him sipping his energon and you sipping your coffee would talk for hours and even cry on each other's shoulder.

He loves it when you touch him during your regular check-ups. He fantasises about you caressing him out of affection.

He would even go so far as to fake his injuries or intentionally injure himself in order to meet you or be touched by your small fragile hands.

Poor Optimus cries on his knees every night, because he knows you would not love him in the same way he does or at least he thought you wouldn't. :)

It would be difficult for him to resist the want to simply hold you securely close to his spark, kiss you, or touch you and have his way with you. But he would fight them while remaining in control of himself.

Everyone knew Optimus was in love with you since his entire attitude changed around you,from being a prime, a protector, the great leader of the Autobots to a soft,shy and nervous robot.

Despite everyone telling him to express his feelings to you, he would hide them inside himself and never say or admit anything to you. He was too afraid of what the consequences would be.

I love the headcanon that Cybertronians flare their armour when feeling angry or threatened, but it doesn’t make much practical sense - surely raising it away from their protoform leaves them vulnerable to attack?

so may I suggest that Cybertronian threat displays have two phases: the armour-flaring intimidation phase, followed by the actively threatening I'm-literally-about-to-attack-you-now phase where all their armour clamps down at once. It's loud, unmistakable, and a clear sign that shit's about to get violent if you don't back off

i just think it would be dramatic :p

June walked into the main room to find Ratchet staring at various humam anatomy diagrams displayed through the monitors.

Bones, muscles, nerves, etc.

All of them focused sorely on the arms, wrists, and hands.

"Doing some human research, Ratchet?"

The autobot hums in affirmation.

"I believe Rafael's arms to be damaged. I'm researching possible treatment."

"What!? Raf is hurt?! What happened? Where is he?"

"Relax, he's not injured, just damaged. I suspect it is either an old injury acting up or poorly maintenance."

"He shouldn't have any old injury like that, I believe. Is he in pain?"

"No to my knowledge. But I've seen him manually recalibrate his servos way too often for it to be healthy."

June blinks, confused.

"Recalibrate his servos?"

Ratchet scoffs. "You know, when he," Ratchet holds his hands in front of his body, and after a slight pause, he flaps them in a quick (and loud) motion "does this. If Rafael was a bot, the only reason to do that would be to loosen up rusted joints and recalibrate his motors. It's not a particularly bad habit, but Rafael does it multiple times a day. His joints, human or not, should NOT de-align so fast. Something is clearly wrong, so -"

"Ratchet." June interrupted, sounding relieved.

"Raf's arms aren't damaged. He's just stimming."

Ratchet resets his optics, baffled. "What's stimming?"

Later that night, Ratchet finds himself working side to side with Optimus on the main console.

"I learned something new about humans today."

"Oh?" Optimus intoned, optics still focusing on his work, but voicing his curiosity.

"You know that thing Bee does, where his doorwings will flap in place when he comes back from a mission to find Rafael in the base? Or how Smokescreen's wheels start spinning when Ultra Magnus makes him stay in place too long for a lecture?"

The way your headlights would start blinking in sync with your voice, as you excitedly explained to me a new document you found in the archives, before you trained yourself out of it, because it was unsightful of a Prime.

"Turns out humans have a word for it. They call it stimming."

Optimus eyes brighten with interest. And as he starts babling theories about possible evolutionary needs for this stimming (a release of excess energy caused by low activity? or perhaps a smaller body than usual, or maybe it had nothing to do with energy and was instead a way to signal other nearby humans about their emotional state?) Ratchet couldn't help but steal a glance towards the Prime's headlights.

He couldn't help but feel disappointed to see them completely dark all through his tirade.

Ratchet TFP

-He would smell the blood

- immediately getting into panic mode

- Which human is dying again?! Is it miko or Jack? One of the agents?

- Seeing all humans sitting in the main area he would smell the blood even more

- The moment he askes bluntly who's bleeding, your face would turn red as a tomato unnoticed from everyone but him

- You know you're bleeding and except him nobody seemed to notice it, not even the other bots

- After everybody assured him nobody was dying he would go away and you would excuse yourself

- You would definitely confront him that something like that would hopefully never happen again

- The moment you explain to him that actually you are the one bleeding, panic mode is back on.

- He would ask you where you're bleeding and you tell him.

- He never was that quiet, never in his life and he never was that interested in someone bleeding

- So you bleed to prepare for getting sparked?

- He would ask you about every nasty detail. He's a doc after all and something like that is clearly interesting,

- He didn't know that people with a uterus bleed and that it can cause so much problems

+ Medicine, healthy food, blankets and pads is his way to show you he's there for you in such a shit time if the month

Soundwave TFP:

- He knows your cycle better than you do

- He's a creepy mech who has the potential of getting every single information he wants and you think your period tracking app is something that isn't in his display? Wrong.

- He knows it can cause problems so he's prepared for everything

- But the first time he notice you're bleeding from down there he would be dumbfounded

- Why do you bleed? Do all humans bleed or is it just you? Is it natural? Is it dangerous?

- Questions over questions and yet he doesn't want to talk about it with you, it's embarrassing even though you're the one bleeding

+ He would prepare the best pads/ tampons for you with a hot water bottle and delicious tea and food

Optimus TFP

- He doesn't know everything about humans so the first time you tell him you're in your period he would look at you like a deer in the headlights

- You're on your what?

- He would try to understand what you're trying to explain to him

- So humans with an uterus tend to bleed once in a month for four to seven days straight

- He would be interested in learning more about that

- It's not like it disgusts him much

- It's just like humans are build, they can't change that so why should he be the one to shame them for something natural?

- He wouldn't understand all that drama about periods

- Why do human say without a uterus it's not a big deal or that it disgusts them?

+ He's the one for belly rubs and cuddles, with snacks and hot water bottles (if he has spare time but he at least try's to give you comfort)

Megatron TFP:

- Oh hell

- He's disgusted by humans but to know that some of them bleed without getting a wound sounds so strange to him and somehow it disgusts him even more

- It's not like he would shame you for that, but he wouldn't understand that you can't control it

- He would accept it after a while that for some time of the month you bleed

- He would ask soundwave to get some information about so he could help you

- Thanks to soundwave you would have the best pads/ Tampons and cuddly blankets and pillows

Crosshairs (Bayverse)

- He would be disgusted by it

- Can you not just simply... try to hold it in?

- Why do you have to bleed? It's not gonna like you want to reproduce in the next few years (and he would tell you no matter how much you bleed you can't reproduce with him)

- Definitely the one who asks what pu$$y size you wear if you have to buy such “huge” pads/ tampons

- You would never, I repeat, NEVER ask him again to take you to the nearest Walmart

- You would stare right into his eyes, asking him if he was the one who was downed by a C-3PO rip-off

- Expect a lot of nasty, filthy and shit comments

- You better have a comeback at every single one of his stupid as sayings

- After your period is done, you're also done with all his bullsh!t

(If you're his partner, he's disgusted that you're bleeding, but the hormones you send drive him pretty crazy and the moment you're not bleeding his holoform is all over you)

If you want specifics, then their domestic lives? (Or what one can achieve akin to a domestic life in time of war 💀)

I did NOT expect to see any ask regarding TFP- Or at least till I switch fandoms again- So like I can't really think of many X Reader headcanons right now. So I just wrote down like 3 for each. I'm also not quite sure how to condense domestic points, cuz I suck at general fluff when my hyperfixation is elsewhere- So sorry if these don't feel like they're really in the domestic direction fhgnfhg

Only doing some Decepticons though-

☆ ~ Headcanons ~ ☆

☆ Megatron

He do be a busy mech, so he doesn't have too much time on his servos. Therefore he cherishes it whenever he gets to have private moments with just his human and no interruptions.

Likes to carry you around on his shoulder pad- It just generally makes it safer for you, in his opinion, and more comforting for him.

Any that would merely look at you weirdly would face the wrath of Lord Megatron. You can tell him not to punish the other Cybertronian though. He does listen... sometimes.

☆ Starscream

Mans refusing to show affection towards you around other Decepticons, especially Megatron. But he's just melting around you when in private.

He prefers recharging with you lying on him. It's oddly soothing having his human on his chassis.

Tends to look for you as comfort whenever he had a bad day with Megatron.

☆ Soundwave

Despite the amount of work he does and how busy he is, he doesn't really fail at also paying attention to you. He's truly a multi-tasker.

Would let Laserbeak play with you though if his extra appendages and music can't keep you busy.

Very loving towards his human. He may not talk, but he uses emoticons on his visor to display how much he loves you.

☆ Shockwave

Just don't play with whatever materials he needs to conduct his experiments and you're good to go. Play with his antennae and ear fins while on his shoulder pad instead.

He gets easily distracted by his human. He knows it's illogical with the major size difference, and how he should just be able to ignore you. But he can't help it nor explain this phenomenon.

He also also can't explain why he has this urge to gently pat you with a digit.

☆ Knockout

While he does buff himself on his own, or has Breakdown help him, he does enjoy it when you're buffing him instead as well. Especially when he's in his alt mode.

Speaking of which, expect drive-in theater dates. Just don't get his interior dirty with snack crumbs.

Worries a lot about your health. If you're sick, he'll keep you close to him to make sure you're actually alright. But no kisses from him till you're no longer coughing and sneezing. He just buffed himself and doesn't need your sickly fluids on his frame.

☆ Predaking

Tends to pick up you up whenever he wants attention. You were talking to Steve? Nah, now you gotta give you giant mecha dragon pets and kisses.

He also enjoys carrying you around on his frame whenever he can. At least he won't have to look where he goes this way.

While he has to go on missions from time to time, it's not a common thing due to his value, so a lot of his time is spent protectively watching over his human.

SO!!! I think personally i subscribe to the idea that ratchet had a slut era in college, like a big slut era. like. A VERY VERY BIG SLUT ERA. like i think ratchet can name sex positions most people have never heard of, i think head from ratchet could have fixed every problem and probably ended the war, i think getting ridden by ratchet can cure every illness, etc etc

however the most important part of my subscription to slut era college ratchet is that HE! IS! TIRED! and he doesn't fuck around like that anymore because he doesnt have the time. like i think hes still into the stuff he was and its not like hes trying to hide that, but hes just... like. Old. and tired. and riding someone amazon style is fucken hard on his joints and he doesnt want to bother.

I feel also that Ratchet forgets that his slutting it up isn't common knowledge anymore, and he mentions stuff he's done in conversation sort of casually and every time he does roddy and drift are like 'YOU WHAT????' and hes like 'calm down, everyone knows how to do the upside down quintesson its practically part of the curiculum in med school, haha'

I think he gets to be a slut as a treat, as a reward for his service o7

Imagine a liaison aboard the lost light who calls people 'love' and 'dear' in a very soft, delicate tone.

based on this post because this is just too tempting to not write about, we must sound like debutants making their first appearance in fashionable society speaking in skittish whispers and sighs all the time when in reality organics speak in different octaves and wavelengths. definitely self indulgent cause me and my friends do this.

Imagine a liaison aboard the lost light who calls people 'love' and 'dear' in a very soft, delicate tone. In a ship full of battle-weary, pessimistic, cybertronians desensitized to almost everything, that single drop of warmth coming from a human whose touches feel like silk — feather light and alien, would be enough to make them putty in your presence.

The last time Brainstorm received a — " How clever, Brainstorm, thank you for your help." He had nearly popped a circuit trying to come up with a reply, stunned silent for what Perceptor claimed was the first time he was without one of his usual snarky remarks. Then it was Swerve, who wouldn't shut up about how you had called him 'darling' — Skids was adamant to prove to him that it was just how you spoke to people, even if the theoretician himself had his chest puffed out from being called 'dear'.

Then there was the time that you had scolded Whirl for nearly stepping on you, voice still painfully tender in comparison to the mechanical lilt of metal vocalizers —" Ooop! Careful there, handsome!" You had jumped, swerving just in time before his pedes crushed you. And the watchmaker froze, with a single optic pinning you in place. Then Drift had to chase him down several hallways, yelling that he wasn't allowed to just pick you up and run off.

An intervention was needed when a group of mechs were sent down a Decepticon outpost and returned with injuries. Apparently, everyone wanted to be pat on the arm and have you crooned — " Oh, you poor, brave thing" to them. With your brows knitted in worry, lips pout and slightly parted as they tell you all the heroic things they did. ( Ultra Magnus wasn't too impressed when said intervention from Rodimus was just a plot for him to cut the line and show you his battle scars. Someone in the back of the line had yelled that he wasn't even scratched. Judging from the infighting brewing, it was most likely Whirl.)

I have no recollection if I ever posted this here but Have A Cursed Headcanon: when Soundwave recharges (which is rarely lmao) it’s facedown and looks deceased while doing so, and it’s unsettling for everyone involved. HOWEVER while he may LOOK like the dead, he sure as hell doesn’t sleep like the dead. Some poor unfortunate soul found THAT out the hard way and nearly jumped out of their own armor while checking to make sure that their TiC didn’t uh… kick the bucket.

Being apart of the Nemesis crew is a nightmare.
