closed starter @paintsplattcr location: festival
this was what thorn had been missing. being coated in sweat as she screamed lyrics into a microphone while being supported by her best girls. playing her guitar and enchanting a crowd, no matter what the size; it was everything to her. she missed touring so fucking bad and any opportunity she had to get the hex girls on stage she took because she knew her sisters wanted it just as badly.  constantly aching to be in the spotlight, to do what they were meant to do. it killed her to have to get off of the stage. to have to wipe the sweat off backstage, get herself together, and just....go back to living in evermore. it was like a slap in the face, really. but it was what had to happen. as much as thorn would gladly bleed out on stage from playing her guitar until her fingers went numb, she knew this was not that kind of event. so it was back to the crowds, back to just being...thorn.
as she made her way back into the festival itself she felt someone staring at her and she turned, giving a curious but slightly threatening look to the guy. of course there was a chance he had caught the performance and she should look a little nicer because it could be a fan, but her default was menacing stare. “can i help you?” she asked, her tone monotone as she went back into her casual mode. “also you can help me, actually. do you know where the most dangerous looking ride is? i can’t navigate this thing for shit.”

closed starter @picassorsumshit location: evermore museum & gallery
Emily always had a deep appreciation for the arts. She had studied them for countless hours during her time in solitude with the private tutors. Her parents wanted her to be able to have as many talents as possible and Emily just used it as an excuse to cling to the arts. Still as much as she studied and as much as she tried to be well versed with painting, she was alright at best. Her true passion came with music and classical pieces. She only seemed to play her own melancholy pieces these days so a change of scenery felt important. She hadn’t even really been to the museum until recently but she was starting to think of it as another small corner in the world where she could be herself and remember what it was like to be alive again.
She had been staring at a piece for a long time. It was an original, but she couldn’t quite make the artists name out. Her vision really wasn’t what it used to be these days. Turning to the closest person next to her she gave a shy smile. “Excuse me,” she began softly. “Could you possibly read the name of the artist here?” she pointed a dainty finger towards the painting. “I...I forgot my reading glasses.”
