The best bit of lore in TOTK is that, according to one of the stone tablets you find, Zelda introduced Cece's mushroom fashion clothing to Ancient Hylia. Cece tells Link she was inspired by the clothing of ancient Hylians... which means Zelda is canoncially to Cece what Marty McFly is to Chuck Berry.

Now I want a DLC cutscene of Zelda, Rauru, Sonia, and Mineru wearing Cece's mushroom clothing for a group photo shoot a la the photo shoot of Link, Zelda, and the Champions from the BOTW DLC.
