Todd Strauss-Schulson the director of the Final Girls is kind of annoying, just because it shares some similarities with the Totally Killer movie. Doesn’t mean Totally Killer is ripping off final girls. Yes, both main characters are meeting their mom at a younger age. However Final girls is set in an 80’s movie while Totally killer is set in reality with time travel to the 80’s.

There’s real death and consequences in Totally Killer as to Final Girls where the main character and her friends experience death but were able to come back alive because they appeared in the sequel..

It’s just stupid. The movies are similar to each other, but it’s not a straight up rip off. and if you want to call, totally killers a rip off wouldn’t final girls also be a rip off because that’s all there’s a lot more similarities with a whole bunch of other campy horror, movies

31 Days of Halloween Horror: day 5

Two horror comedies in a row, whoopsies lol. Last night choice was the brand new horror comedy: Totally Killer

I rated this 7/10! It was super fun and funny. The entire cast was great, the likeable characters were likeable, the unlikeable ones were unlikeable. I thought I knew who the killer was, but it turned out to be someone that I'd brushed aside because it was too obvious. So they got me, cause I didn't think it'd be them and then it was. Numerous moments when I laughed out loud, good writing, good acting, good effects mostly. Great throwbacks to the 80s, especially her reacting to things that would be shocking today lmao. Really fun movie, I definitely recommend if you think it looks like your type of movie!

TOTALLY KILLER (2023)

Take Back From Fhe Future and The Final Girls, put them in a little cup, add some spice, and give it a little shake...BOOM, you have totally killer. This horror comedy is so campy in all the right ways. It also doesn't take itself too seriously, which was an excellent choice. There are so many one-liners in this film which crack me up. While there isn't that much gore, the few scenes we do see are pretty good. Great choice for a group gathering

oh my god have people even watched Final Girls 2015. It’s very Pitch Perfect in terms of humor. They reused old lightning techniques. Some of the tropes were wrong but
