Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe was one of the greatest 20th century silversmiths, a pioneer in her field - created jewellery from hand-turned silver, pebbles and crystal. She called her work 'anti-status', never made sketches, and just worked with the materials directly. Every piece is timeless and recognizable. She never stopped working. 'I always needed to eat. There are still masses of ideas I want to formulate. I’m no good with words—I’d rather speak through the silver.'
