I can't stop thinking about how Hiccup and Toothless' relationship is built on trust and has been built on trust the whole time. But more than that, it was built on trust from their very first scene.
Hiccup holds Toothless' life in his hands and he chooses to let him go, even though Toothless could very well (and might) kill him.
Toothless then has the power and he could easily kill Hiccup. He probably considers it just like Hiccup did, but he responds to Hiccup's kindness with kindness of his own, and he lets him live.
So when Hiccup goes down into the cove, there is already a tentative understanding between them that neither means to bring the other any harm. You have spared me, I have spared you, we are equal.
But both are still wary.
So Hiccup makes a decision to trust Toothless with his life again when he throws the knife into the lake. Not that the knife would have protected him much from Toothless, but it is presumably the same weapon that Hiccup would have taken his life with to begin with, and it's more about what it represents. So Hiccup gives the power in the situation over to Toothless when he throws the knife away. Now that Toothless doesn't see Hiccup as a threat to him, he calms down.
Toothless trusts Hiccup when he eats the fish Hiccup brought with him the first time, and the basket of fish the next time. Eventually, both of them are relaxed. Hiccup can just sit on a stump and draw in the dirt, Toothless can nap, there is no worry that one will kill the other. There is mutual trust.
They bond, Toothless shares his fish, Hiccup smiles (which Toothless clearly understands to some extent bc he smiles back), Toothless draws, Hiccup plays along w Toothless' game, until finally Hiccup decides to reach out to touch him.
He tried before, when Toothless was resting in the sun, but that didn't go very far, bc Toothless didn't trust him. But NOW, things have changed. They have spent enough time together that Toothless is less wary. But not entirely.
Hiccup sees this, that he is asking for trust from Toothless, so he puts his trust in Toothless first. He closes his eyes and turns away, and just like that, Hiccup once again shifts the power from himself to Toothless. (Cutting the ropes, throwing the knife). And so Toothless trusts him.

I don't know, just random scribbles. I continue to write a story based on my AU, so I suddenly wanted to draw something from it.
I still have to learn how to draw people.
P.S. If someone thinks that my original character is Hiccup's romantic interest, then no, it's not. Hiccstrid the best.
We kindly ask you not to steal my art and not to put them on other sites without my knowledge. Do not use them as dummies, do not assign them to yourself.

what if Edge Gang just. never started using the letter S again. just "Toothle, Plama Blat" all day long. and viggo is *incredibly* confused by this seemingly other language the gang are speaking before he realises what's going on. but nobody else gets it so like. they can trade secret messages with each other and only viggo can understand them because that's entirely within his character tbh

Not Toothless announcing he smells something metal, Hiccup dismissing it because the Treasure Hunt is over, only for Toothless to then announce in utter disappointment "oh, it's not metal after all, but that it's just a door" while they're all trapped in this inescapable cavern.

Forgotten/Httyd
Okay, so, they just showed httyd again on TV and I watched other episodes as well. It's my favorite and the top three. And so I decided to write a smaller series about hiccup x reader/Elara. Since my winx series is not very successful so far, I would appreciate any feedback, including this one. I just hope you enjoy it because I enjoy writing it!!. If you want a sequel, write!
summary: When Hiccup learns about Grimmer and his dragons, he must venture away from Blp to another island. He can't risk the lives of so many Vikings and dragons. They make their way to an island where Hiccup is constantly trying to find a hidden world. His dad constantly told him about him when he was a kid. There's only one problem. Half the Vikings believe him to exist and half don't. And the one who does not believe, tries her best to convince Hiccup to leave it and not seek him. When she releases Toothless and Bura's hidden world finally finds, she doesn't just find a lot of dragons there. But also a man he didn't expect for anything. His former supposedly dead best friend..

prolog:
“Where are you going”? a blonde girl named Astrid called out to me. Slowly, very slowly, I approached the cliff with my belongings, beneath which stretched a wide blue never-ending ocean. “Like you ever care,” I turned to her and frowned. ``What do you mean? Of course I'm interested. We are friends” now Astrid frowned at me in return. I just smirked at that sentence. Friends? I don't even know what the word means anymore.
“Friends”? I asked Astrid to get the nod. “Hardly friends,” I chuckled even though tears were coming out of my eyes. As for that matter, Astrid frowned even more, but under her gaze I could see that she knew what I was talking about.
"Are friends lying to each other? They say it's a promise but they won't keep it”? I asked her again. I was referring to the situation that happened this morning.
*Flashback*
“Come on, girl,” I said, prompting my dragon to move from its place where it had been standing for half an hour, looking at the same place all the time. If it wasn't as big or heavy as the Skrills used to be, I would have pulled it away, or at least pushed it, but it didn't go that way by mistake.
“Maya,” I said in a frustrated voice, looking at her with a pleading look. Maya just stared and kept looking at the same place. I couldn't take it anymore, I went up to her and picked up the sheets that prevented me from seeing something Maya was looking at.
And that was Astrid and Hiccup. They sat together on the edge of a cliff, watching the sunset. They laughed together and Astrid had her hand draped over Hiccup's shoulder.
“You know,” Astrid said after a while. “Elara doesn't belong here,” she finished the sentence, looking for Hiccup. He also looked at her. ``What”? he asked. He clearly didn't understand. As he might as well. Only Astrid knew.``I mean. Elery's dad “started saying, and I started praying that she wouldn't say it. Astrid, don't do that.
“Please,” I whispered, hoping she hadn't said it. She made me a promise. “Vigo,” she finished the sentence, and Hiccup pulled away from her.
Astrid kept looking at him while he frolicked at the ocean. “Sure, he hasn't been here for a long time, but the last time he was here was when he brought the creeping red death. Didn't you find it strange? Offensive? How did Vigo know we were going to be here and where do we have corridors”? said Astrid, leaving Hiccup to reflect.
“No,” I whispered, letting my tears fall freely down my cheeks. How could she do that to me? She promised not to tell anyone. Everything in front of me was a blur, because of the constant tears. All I saw was Astrid leaning over to Hiccup and slowly kissing him. Astrid was the only one who knew who my real family was, but also the only one who knew about my crush on Hiccup.
From day one he was very nice and respected by everyone. And say. Having beaten so many hunters and always saved everyone, who wouldn't love him? I couldn't take it anymore, and Maya probably didn't either. She stuck her head on the floor. She grabbed me on her back, I sat in the saddle, and she took off. Tears were still dripping all the way down my cheeks.
If we'd flown a little longer, I'd have a pond instead of a saddle. I flew to the house where I used to be, collected all my things, and went away with Maya. On the way, Maya wandered off somewhere, so it looked like I was going alone. I also met Astrid with Hiccup, but Hiccup didn't even notice me. Obviously he was still next door from what Astrid told him.
He didn't even look at me out of the corner of his eye. Just nothing. Astrid turned around after a while, let Hiccup go home and ran after me.
*End flashback*
And now I was standing here. At the end of the cliff waiting for Maya to fly in with Astrid ahead of her. “I didn't want to,” Blonka said. “I had to,” she added, and I nodded at her ironically. You made a promise to me. But that word probably doesn't tell you anything,” I just said and jumped off the cliff where Maya was waiting for me just before the ocean.
I quickly jumped her into the saddle and she took off. I looked at Astrid for the last time and she flew away.
As soon as I left, Astrid ran to Hiccup's house. On the way, she jumped over a stream where she wet her eyes to make it look like she had them from tears. She flew into his house, and he didn't roll over from his chair. “Elera jumped off a cliff,” she said in a broken voice.
“She's dead Hiccup..”

been rewatching rtte
toothless is called T multiple times, but the letter T doesn't exist in the alphabet of this world
i think hiccup was also called H???
hiccup went to the wedding of the man who tried to kill him and his family multiple times. no wonder he thought he could change drago's mind
snotlout is canonically a theater kid
"you're so small and cuddly" "please never say that again"
the twins are really smart, but they're also just stupid
hiccup straight up disappears when he's working on something
heather had a super noticeable crush on astrid
fishlegs got a love interest!! a plus size main character actually has a cool, badass love interest!
it was super hetnormative but it was cute
there was an island full of flying women who were implied to regularly commit cannibalism
hiccup taught all the riders how to fly with toothless, that's so sweet
everyone is a flat earther except for the twins
hiccup almost directly killed a lot of people
and killed a LOT more when destroying their ships
“scalding– cal..ding--" "toothle, plama bla!" was pretty much the funniest part of the entire series
dagur was bullied as a kid by a guy 8 years older than him who literally tattooed an imagine of him beating up little dagur in his arm??? What was that all about
actually we need to talk about how messed up everything about dagur is and about how the things that could've/did happen(ed) to him may be the reasons why he's Like That
just why was he imprisoned by the outcasts??? he didn't do anything to them directly
oof my brain is spiraling. "he loved you" "ig now we'll never know" what do you mean he didn't know if his dad loved him
there's a technically musical episode
tuffnut became hiccup's defense attorney and immediately got him the death sentence
hiccup regularly jumps off cliffs
he also jumped off a boat, with his arms tied and without toothless. just where did he think he was going
snotlout's annoying attitude is actually because spitelout pressures him too much and he feels like he has to be perfect for his dad :((
THE 'HICCUP'S EVIL MIRROR' VILLAIN THEME DONE RIGHT YESS!!!
viggo is the best httyd villain change my mind (you can't, swords at sundown, you may bring backup but i will win on my own)
skrill comeback skrill comeback SKRILL COMEBACK!!!!
"COMEEE TO DADDY"
what is a boar pit???
oh my god i had missed this series so much. it has no right to be this funny
this was my childhood. it has forever shaped the way i am
berserker heather the unhinged >>>
actually good disability rep! yay
hiccup complains about his peg leg pinching him
he straight up cannot walk without it and it is shown many times
"well, there are the benefits of a metal leg" after it got caught in a bear trap
funny moments, like snotlout trying to steal it to use it as a weapon
the jokes!! toothless laughing at the jokes!!! hiccup being so fucking done with the twins, who are always making the jokes!
there's an episode where everyone is so sleep deprived they actually start spiraling
astrid becomes a happy go lucky girl, hugs snotlout and tells him he's handsome
the fucking mood swings snotlout got were insane
the twins were straight up just hallucinating
"i sent them to wash their dragons, how could they mess that up?" cut to heather falling on her face with a bucket full of water in her hands
fishlegs becomes so paranoid, he's yelling at everyone all the time
"don't you know the trapper's trap can trap the trapper?? ...oh gods, i must be losing it, i'm quoting dagur"
YOOOO VALKA!!!! it's so nice to see her
hiccup tried to murder dagur to stop him from getting to toothless, which is scary bc it shows just how far he's willing to go for his bff, but also funny because hiccup. that was not going to work
oh the hiccstrid slowburn, how i have missed you
the twins's made up language
there was a beach episode turned murder mystery and a musical episode held at gun point
hiccup has a whole little speech that he periodically gives astrid to remind her that the twins serve a purpose

So I decided to rewatch RTTE because I felt like indulging in some childhood nostalgia. A few things to note:
- Snotlout and Fishlegs are dating. Good for them.
- The twins are the best characters. Still don't know wtf a boar pit is.
- I know those are supposed to be dragon scales on Ryker's shoulder and arm pads but they look like turtle shells I'm sorry--
- Actually good disability rep?? Hello??
- Hiccup how tf are you still alive?
- "Toothle plama bla" is perhaps the funniest thing in any piece of media ever.
- On the subject of Gruffnut: There's another one???
- How does Tuffnut know so many languages? Did these languages exist in this time period? If so who taught him? Is Tuffnut Odin in disguise? Would that make Ruffnut Loki?
- Hiccup is AuDHD. No I will not be taking comments at this time.
- Where tf did Hiccup get his dragon blade in midnight scrum? Why did he not use it to free himself or fend off his attackers? Also, on the subject of midnight scrum, how is this boy's neck not broken??
- I stan one (1) Heather the Unhinged. Go off queen. Feral bastard child.
- Ruffnut is actually super smart?? And cool?? What??
- I did not watch the series before this one so Dagur's entrance confused me so much at first. Who is this man and why does his beard look like that?? Please shave.
- Gonna punch Snotlout's dad. Gonna kick his fucking ass.
- Why is Viggo so aggressively British? And why is his brother Scottish? Come to think of it, there is no consistency in any of the accents.
- Sir, that is not a dragon, that is a Pokémon (you know exactly which dragon I'm talking about don't pretend you don't know)

Óen (Part 7)
Tumblr media
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7
Thunderbirds Are Go and HTTYD crossover.
I finally managed to write some more of this. A scene popped into my head and here we are :D Plotline is evolving and I'm feeling more positive.
Many thanks to @onereyofstarlight and @idontknowreallywhy for the read throughs and support :D And to all those who dare to join me in this insanity.
Have a little Virg and Hiccup. I hope you enjoy.
-o-o-o-
Virgil had a huge dragon.
She was a shifting iridescent green, red and gold, and taller at the shoulder than Hiccup standing twice over and all muscle. Toothless appeared tiny beside her, even Óen was dwarfed.
A massive single horn arched out of her snout, while two more branched into a giant V over her head. Her neck and shoulders were protected by plates of glistening armour.
She glittered as she moved.
They were standing on a high cliff above the sea to the east of the settlement. Virgil claimed that a glide off a high point would be much kinder to Toothless’ wings than a launch from flat ground.
Hiccup agreed, so they had slogged all the way up here immediately after breakfast.
The wind was bitterly cold…but that was nothing new.
“Can I?” Hiccup held up a hand, gesturing for permission to reach out to the large dragon.
Virgil arched an eyebrow. “Dá is strong, but she’s gentle.” A small smirk. “She loves a scratch under her chin.”
The smith was securing an intricate saddle, lined with contraptions that fascinated Hiccup almost as much as the dragon it was strapped to.
But Dá was eyeing Hiccup and he had to respond.
He approached carefully, arm partly outstretched, hand open.
Golden eyes followed his every move.
Toothless warbled at the behemoth and Dá snuffled back, rolling her shoulders, much to protest from Virgil. “Hold still, there, lovely. Toothpick is harmless.”
Oh, great, he was never going to live that one down.
Hiccup took another step closer and offered his hand.
A deep rumble and smooth horn touch his palm.
Hiccup opened eyes he hadn’t realised he had closed to find those golden eyes adoring him.
Toothless rolled his eyes and grumbled.
Tentatively, Hiccup let his fingers slide across her snout and down under her chin. A gentle rub and the great dragon started purring.
Like distant thunder.
“She likes you.” Virgil stood next to her, watching Hiccup’s ministrations.
“She’s beautiful.”
“Aye, she is, and she knows it.” Virgil reached in between her first two plates of armour and did something that set her thunder crackling. One of her back legs started pawing at the ground. “She would sit here all day being admired and petted if she could. Wouldn’t you, lovely?”
That earned both of them a huff with enough warm breath to flap Hiccup’s jacket.
“Yes, yes, I know you want to fly, but I have to check on our patient first.” He retrieved his hand and turned to Toothless. “Now, young one, let’s check those wings of yours.”
To Hiccup’s surprise, Toothless immediately lifted and unfolded his right wing. The smith examined it, working gentle fingers down the length of the wing bone, testing muscle and movement. “You’ve rested well overnight.” He turned to Toothless’ left wing and did the same. “You are looking better, but you are not to strain yourself today. No aerobatics. You’re not my first night fury patient and Dá and I will intervene if you threaten your health or your rider’s”
“Hey!”
Toothless’ grumble echoed Hiccup’s protest.
Virgil turned to Hiccup. “And that goes for you, too. I will not have any hotshot flyboy actions today. Your dragon is injured and needs care.”
“I would never harm Toothless!”
“Eh, you’re a night fury rider. From my experience, there are tendencies to forget that slow and easy wins the race.” Virgil peered down at him. “Love does not negate stupidity. Don’t do anything stupid or Dá and I will pull you from the sky.”
Hiccup’s eyes narrowed. They could try. They would have to catch Toothless first…
And the thought brought him up short. Toothless was injured.
And Hiccup was stupid.
Virgil was eyeing him. “Are we agreed?”
Hiccup straightened and nodded.
“Good.” Virgil turned back to his dragon. “It will be interesting to see your prosthetics in action. I’m impressed with their design.”
“You are?” The words fell from Hiccup’s mouth without thought.
The smith turned back to look at him. “Of course, the work is excellent. Your’s, I presume?”
Hiccup nodded.
“I thought so. Hiram will want to speak to you.”
“Hiram?”
But Virgil had climbed aboard Dá and was securing himself with safety lines to his thick wide belt. The belt was a green that echoed Dá’s brilliance. The smith had swapped out his loose red shirt for what he called flying leathers. A mix of blues and green, similar to those Scott had been wearing when he saved them the day before.
Virgil also had a helmet like the Flaith, but his hinged at his temple and he had it open, flipped above his brow. Green was slicked down its sides.
He patted Da and the great dragon turned towards the cliff edge.
Toothless growled and butted Hiccup…who had frozen in thought, apparently. “Alright, alright, don’t burn your tonsils.”
It was Toothless’ turn to huff.
Hiccup ignored him and climbed onto his shoulders, securing himself. “You ready, bud.”
The dragon scoffed and trotted the both of them to stand beside Virgil and Da.
“I will go first. You follow slowly and carefully.” Virgil looked down at Toothless. “Coic will be watching, young one.”
Toothless barked up at the smith, but Virgil slammed his helmet closed, Da let off a roar, and they launched effortlessly off the cliff.
Toothless spread his wings. “Okay, bud, take it easy.” He patted his friend’s black scales.
The night fury snorted and grumbled, but trotted off the edge into the sky.
And the wind caught them.
It was like letting out a breath he hadn’t known he had been holding.
Black wings sailed them in a gentle curve upwards, recovering from their initial dip and catching the winds pushing up the steep rock.
Oh, yes, it had only been a day, but a day of worry and strangeness and here they were together again, flying.
“Keep it simple. Flat turns. Minimise climbing.” Stern instructions bounced across all the blue. Da’s wings were as vast as her body was massive. Hiccup had no doubt the dragon could grab or lift anything she felt like. The pair were circling Hiccup and Toothless at a respectable distance - enough to give them room to manoeuvre but close enough to use those massive dragon muscles should they need to.
But there was no need. Toothless behaved himself and soon they were gliding above the ocean with smooth and gentle strokes, far slower than their usual pace, but still flying.
The ocean blurred beyond the roar in his ears and the chill of the sky welcomed them.
After their meeting of diplomatic words yesterday, Virgil had excused both Hiccup and Toothless on health grounds bringing the virtual game of maces and talons to a close.
These people were on a mission. They were not relaxed. There was no ale beside the evening fire. There was drink, yes, but no stories or song. the evening had been tense with worry. There was something being unsaid in Hiccup’s presence. He could feel it.
Surprisingly, he didn’t feel threatened. Whatever had the village on edge, it wasn’t Hiccup or Toothless - that was unusual in their experience, a night fury tended to put the average person more over the cliff than on edge.
None of the brothers showed any animosity towards Hiccup or Toothless. In fact, they treated them as welcome guests.
And yes, they were brothers, Scott, Virgil, the mysterious John, and Alan admitted to the relationship. There was even mention of a fifth brother who did not make an appearance last night.
The food was plain, but the company was welcoming and kind. Even Virgil’s stern words appeared to come from a perspective of caring about Hiccup and Toothless rather than any threat.
It was becoming easier to trust these people.
Alan had kept Hiccup company for most of the night. He chattered a lot, mostly about dragons. He was fascinated with Toothless, but admitted that Scott had yet to allow him a dragon of his own. That was followed by blatant sibling complaints despite the fact he obviously idolised the Flaith, Oen, John and Coic…and yes, Alan was very talkative.
Hiccup was grateful for it. While there was enthusiasm, Alan was not clueless. They talked about navigation, how high a dragon could fly and, of all things, mathematics.
There was a possibility that the two of them could become friends - a rare and precious find for Hiccup.
But first there were the politics of the situation.
Hiccup sighed.
Toothless warbled a query.
“It’s okay, bud, just stuff.” Focus. “You feeling okay?”
His dragon warbled a positive.
“Shall we scoot a little closer to Dá? I want some answers.”
Toothless snorted, but between him and Hiccup’s control, they darted sideways, swooping easily into a parallel flight path with the green dragon.
That helmeted head tilted slightly in their direction. “You’re doing well.”
Hiccup dipped his head in acknowledgement.
He swallowed. “Virgil, what is the Commitment?” Alan had mentioned the term several times last night. Something to do with dragons and an oath. But while Alan could talk the winter coat off a yak’s rear end, he was obviously not dumb and changed the topic each time Hiccup asked the question.
He didn’t know whether it was a secret or Alan just didn’t want to talk about it.
So Hiccup asked Virgil.
The smith didn’t immediately answer and for a moment Hiccup thought he was going to be ignored. But then…
“The fight for life. The effort to save what the gods attempt to take, human, dragon, whatever. Our family has drawn a line and chose to fight to save those we can.”
Hiccup blinked. “Why?”
“Why not? So much is taken without protest, some given at the whim of a weapon of war. We have chosen to battle against the loss, to prevent, to save what we can.”
“With dragons?”
“With or without.”
“And Cóic?”
“Cóic is our matriarch.”
“Matriarch?”
“That is all you need to know.” A pause. “It is time to return.  We will fly again tonight.” He patted Dá’s side and the great dragon banked away from the conversation.
Obvious avoidance.
Hiccup sighed as he clicked his foot into the right configuration to let Toothless follow the pair. No wonder Dad was grumpy after diplomatic meetings.
The thought of his father brought him up short. Hiccup hadn’t even managed to work out how far he was away from Berk, yet. His father was likely beside himself with worry and driving everyone insane with it.
Astrid…
The Isle swelled below them, Dá landing smoothly on the Arctic thin grass far beneath them.
Toothless spiralled down into a landing with a determined Viking on his back.
Hiccup needed some answers.
Now.

HTTYD BOOK HEADCANONS!!!
Hiccup hates being hugged because normally when people grab him it's because they're trying to hold him still so they can kill him.
Fishlegs was born premature.
Camicazi hates coconuts.
Hiccup is autistic.
If Hiccup had Spotify his favourite band would be either ABBA or The Cranberries.
Because Hiccup spent a whole book speaking pretty much only dragonese he sometimes forgets words in English when he's talking to people.
Hiccup used to hide his slave mark from his dad by wearing his helmet to sleep. He did this for a month after he got it and then just decided he was being paranoid and stopped.
Camicazi believes in the toothfairy and Fishlegs keeps trying to convince her it doesn't exist because he never gets money from his teeth.
Fishlegs once tore his hut apart looking for his lobster claw necklace and had to ask Hiccup to help him look and it turned out to just be under his bed.
Fishlegs us scared of mice
In book 4 it says Camicazi admires Hiccup so I think she sees him as sort of a leader or older brother.
Camicazi's favourite colour is red.
Fishlegs at first didn't like Camicazi very much but as they hung out more he started liking her a lot more and now they're besties.
Toothles would sell Hiccup to Alvin for a snack.

Ooooh daaaang! Along with the Green and Purple Deaths, the dragons of the Hooligans and the Meatheads are beginning to question their loyalties. Follow the human masters or the two gigantic dragons that have just landed on their beach? Either of which could flatten these two tribes in a heartbeat!
And that's the end of chapter 13! The dragons deciding to help the boys, until they lose, in which case they will either switch loyalties or desert.

I watched Puss in Boots: the Last Wish, and I'm losing my mind at how DreamWorks does parallels and foreshadowing.
One of my favorite things about the first How to Train Your Dragon is how every part of the Red Death fight was set up beforehand. Fishlegs breaks down its strength and weaknesses, they confuse it with sound (which affects their dragons too! The writers didn't forget!), the twins annoy it. Toothless fires with that familiar night fury shriek that we haven't heard since the beginning of the movie. But the real payoffs are what comes next with Hiccup's plan.
Hiccup takes advantage of the storm clouds to make Toothles near invisible like when we first "see" him. He targets the Red Death's wings, which will be important in just a second. He gets Toothless to set the Red Death's own fire breath off inside it, which was set up by the Terrible Terror scene where he learns that dragons are "not so fireproof on the inside." He used the cloud cover to trick the Red Death into a steep dive, only pulling up at the last second. This puts immense strain on it's wings- as Hiccup learned after his mishap during his first real flight with Toothles- which, due to the holes from Toothless's previous barrage, totally shreds them. Unable to pull up, the Red Death hits the ground and explodes. Toothless's tail burns off, Hiccup can't steer, he gets knocked off, and they're both falling again, just like in the test flight. This time, Toothless is the one who goes to Hiccup, when before, it was the reverse.
And then the parallels that come after. Toothless saves Hiccup. Stoick echoes Hiccup's "I did this" over a downed Toothless. And of course, there's the scene where they show how Hiccup lost his leg on the same side that Toothless lost his tailfin, both injuries that they gave each other (Toothles most likely had to bite that leg to grab Hiccup before the fire hit), both injuries that brought them closer together.
And that's only examples related to the Red Death fight! To see this level of thought and care be put into the new Puss in Boots movie just has me really emotional. This is why I love DreamWorks. Noone else is doing it like them. It makes me so happy to see people put the same effort into picking apart The Last Wish as I did with HTTYD.
