Your fingers drummed on the bathroom counter in front of you, drawing your focus to the sound of tapping against the granite rather than the gaping mirror in front of you. Anything but the reflection.
It wasn’t as though you were always racked with self-hatred or insecurity of your appearance. At the same time, you weren’t vain. You had worked hard to accept you as you were, it was all anyone could do, right? Everyone had their days though.
Especially when you were dating a globally celebrated rock star.
Axl Rose used to be a name that circulated the news channels and magazines much more frequently. Nowadays, any mention of Guns N’ Roses was a bit rarer, especially since Axl chose to lead a more private life. His name still had the power to generate headlines, though. You had definitely seen the latest—the images were practically burned into your mind now.
“Axl’s New Flame”
“So, Lana Del Rey and Axl Rose Are Hanging Out Together”
“Where’s Y/N? Axl Ditches Former Girl-Next-Door For Singing Siren”
You knew it was innocent. You knew rumor articles were cruel. You knew there was likely nothing even to it; Axl had gone out for a business dinner and they must have run into each other. After all, Lana Del Rey is a well-known Guns N’ Roses fan. The only pictures you had seen so far was her walking ahead of him leaving the same hotel restaurant. Axl simply wasn’t like that; you had been together for over a year now.
That was you trying to be rational and avoid a spiral of doubt. But of course, you ended up tumbling over the edge and soon got lost in overthinking.
You read the articles, every single detail you could find. The fact that she wrote a song all the way back in 2008 called “Axl Rose Husband.” Her coy smile in the pictures—so beautiful with her elegant face. Sure, Axl wasn’t like that, but did anyone really expect to get cheated on? Did anyone ever expect to be left? Those kinda things blind-sided even the most infatuated adoring lovers, and you began to brace yourself for the impact. Sure, you had just moved into his house, but he could always kick you out. You and Axl had never even exchanged “I love you” with each other, maybe he was seeing what else was out there. Maybe he had been charmed, maybe you just hadn’t seen other pictures yet. You read the articles speculating if Axl had left you in the dust. It was easy to find pictures comparing you to Lana. This was worse than online stalking because all the work was done for you—and there were people’s commentary and opinions, people you didn’t even know, who didn’t know you.
When you glanced up, almost accidentally, you realized you had started crying. You chuckled bitterly and added another negative trait to your list: too fucking sensitive. Who did you think you were, dating Axl Rose?
“Hey, sugar, I thought we were getting lunch? You’ve been up here for almost an hour.” You heard Axl call from your shared bedroom and heard his steps crossing the floor. You panicked; you didn’t want him to see you right now when the image of her was probably pinned in his memories. Her laugh, her smile, her bambi eyes looking at his. Was he comparing the two of you like everyone else? Wondering why he settled when he could’ve had her?
“Uh, hang on! Give me a minute,” you tried to stall; you needed a helluva lot longer than a minute.
“What’s wrong?” You heard Axl asked as he paused right outside the bathroom. It was almost a casual question, as though he weren’t really expecting anything serious to be wrong. “Your hair brush is out here if that’s what you’re looking for.” You chuckled slightly, smiling sadly at his nonchalant observation. “Are you okay?” He pressed when you didn’t answer, and that’s when you completely fell apart.
“Y-yeah! I just, uh...I poked my eye and...” you lied with the first thing that entered your head and grimaced at the weak attempt to stop your voice from shaking as hot, fresh tears spilled from your eyes. “I’m actually not feeling well; maybe we can go another time. Why don’t you go get something for yourself?” He didn’t answer, and you wondered if maybe he had left to do exactly that.
“Why in the world would I do that?” You jumped at the sound of his soft voice right behind you and glanced up to look at him in the mirror’s reflection, staring back at you in confusion, hairbrush in hand. Heavy concern shaded his face when he saw you. “Y/N, what’s wrong, darlin’?”
“It’s really nothing,” you lied and Axl immediately frowned angrily at you. His boots hit the floor with purpose as he marched over to where you sat on the vanity stool. He knelt down right next to your thigh in an effort to match your level.
“You know I hate it when you tell me that, Y/N. I hate wasting time with you upset and me not knowin’ the reason why. Do you trust me?” You hesitated at the question and saw a flicker of surprised hurt flash in Axl’s eyes.
“No, I do!” You said quickly, before you shook your head. “I do. Really, it’s just me overthinking...and just...imagining worse case scenarios and...” you shrugged.
Axl was silent for a moment before he stood. You stared at your lap, wondering if you had offended him, before you felt his fingers weave through your hair. He pulled your head closer to him, to where your cheek was resting against the denim covering his hip and his fingers massaging your scalp.
“You and that pretty little head of yours...” he muttered affectionately. “C’mon, sweetheart, tell me what’s wrong. I get it, you know. Wasted plenty of years of my life just fucking overthinking things I didn’t need to.” You looked up at him and something in your expression suddenly made him pull you up by your elbows. He took your place on the stool before he brought you down on his lap and wrapped his arms around your waist. “Now,” he prompted. “I’m listening.”
You stared down at your hands in your lap.
“I saw the pictures.” You murmured.
“Pictures of...?” Axl asked.
“You with Lana.” You peeked up at him and watched confusion furrow his eyebrows before understanding took its place. There was a silence.
“Ah.” He finally said with a nod.
“There were...a lot of articles telling me about the state of my relationship this morning.” You chuckled feebly. “You know, a much better start to my day than Folgers or the weather forecast.” Axl was shaking his head.
“I hate them.” Axl said. “I hate all of it. The manipulation, the way they think they know every detail. And it still happens, even now, twisting it all however they want.”
“For the record, I didn’t think anything of it.” You reassured him, though you couldn’t help the way your voice sounded small. You wondered if Axl could hear the insecurity behind your words too.
You could feel Axl pat your hip, his hand resting against you.
“Someone introduced us. She’s a big fan, it was nice conversation. I liked some of her ideas, concepts she was telling me about songwriting. But that was it. We walked out at the same time and that was somehow the big story.” You nodded a little. You had known that, but even with the confirmation, you were left wondering why you still felt empty.
“I guess...it’s just harder for me.” You said out loud, trying to work out your thoughts. “I’m...nobody. And you’re you, and I knew that—it wasn’t what drew me to you, that’s not why I got into this—but this world knows you too and how amazing you are, and then, sometimes things like last night happen. And I trust you with all my heart, Axl, but someone like Lana Del Rey; she’s gorgeous. She’s talented, she’s acclaimed. I’m sure she would have been willing. Why wouldn’t you...”
Axl’s grip tightened around your hips now, making you stop your words.
“First of all, I never want to hear you say something like that again. Y/N, you’re not nothing. You’re nothing short of incredible. This world hardly ever says anything about how ‘amazing’ they consider me. Mainly, it’s just about how I’ve lost it.” You frowned a little. There was a change in his tone, switching from insistence to almost cynicism. “How I don’t sound the same anymore. How I don’t look the same. I’m washed up, I’m an egotistical perfectionist—the list goes on. But you…you’re beautiful, baby. I look at you and I can see the way everyone else looks at you, and it makes me I wonder how in the hell I get to have you. You make me proud. You make me feel like the things I see written about me aren’t true. Because you never make me feel like that.” You twisted in the position you were sitting to face him better.
“I’m a fucking mess,” you laughed breathlessly, fighting another onslaught of tears. Axl smiled, leaning up to kiss the corner of your mouth, a fleeting kiss, uncaring if his lips even met yours because any inch of your skin was a prize to be kissed.
“You’re not a mess. Baby, you’re a whirlwind. Your thoughts, the way you look at the world, all the things you’ve brought into mine...”
“Axl...” you stopped him, but only had an absence for any words to explain the relief you were feeling, the calm that filled you. You could only shake your head and reach your hands out to cradle his face in in them. He immediately leaned forward to press his lips to yours.
“I love you, Y/N.” He whispered, his eyes still shut as you pulled back, stunned. He blinked his eyes open, smiling again at you. “I love you, my pretty little angel.”
“I love you too, Ax. I always wanna make you proud.” You replied back, smiling against his lips as you kissed him again.
“You do. And you know what else?” He asked as he pulled back. “I’m pretty fucking hungry.” You laughed with your head falling back before you stood from his lap.
“Just gimme a second. I’ll be ready soon.” Axl paused by the door.
“Wear that blue sundress of yours, baby. The one with the slit up the leg.” There was a twinkle in his eye. “I want them all to see you on my arm today.”

The Grilled Cheese Timeline
Set between I Am My Monster and The Future because I need to know when the first Connverse kiss happened. Please excuse any spelling errors, I wrote this at 5AM
Edit: The text disappeared for awhile, but if you’re seeing this I obviously fixed it! Thanks for your patience and support of my first Steven Universe fic!
Connie delicately knocked on the glass, after making sure he wasn’t sleeping and once she saw his encouraging wave, she allowed herself to let herself in.
“Hey there,” she said in whisper, so quiet he wouldn’t have been able to hear it if the room hadn’t already been dead quiet.
“Connie!” He exclaimed as much as he could, sitting up from the bed to see her head peeking in through the sliding door.
“You sure you’re up for a visit?” She said cautiously. “Cause we can always do this over the phone if you’re not-.”
“No I’m fine,” he insisted in a time she truthfully believed. “Really. I promise. I’ve been resting so much, please come in!” He sat up straighter to prove it to her, to prove it wasn’t the facade he had become so familiar with months ago. She saw the Steven she knew and marched in, bringing her collection of papers onto the bed where he sat.
“Okay, so half of this is what my mom recommended and half is my own online research,” she began as she spread the pile onto his sheets. “Once I realized cost wasn’t a limitation with your dad, it made the search much easier, but makes limiting much harder. There’s a a lot of overlap, but then again meeting up in person is a huge factor-.”
“Did doing this take away from your studying?”
“Steven, that doesn’t matter,” insisted Connie. “Even if it did, I’ll always put you ahead of my studies whether you like it or not! I’ve dedicated my day to finding you a good therapist but if it takes longer I don’t care. And I’ll know if you’re lying, so don’t rush this because of me.”
“I know, I know,” he laughed as a blush found it’s way to his cheeks. He watched in adoration as Connie shuffled through her collection of papers, he face scrunched in determination. He knew her studies were important but in all honesty he was overjoyed to have this quiet time with her after all the chaos.
“Are the gems home?” She asked as she organized.
“No,” he said. “They’re in town. Garnet said they were doting on me too much and that it was important I have this day away from them.”
“Future vision?”
“Most likely,” he sighed contently, basking in the sun that shone through the window. “I know she likes to keep things random, but she likes knowing I’m making the right progress, I guess. Pearl has made me more soup than I know what to do with.”
“I can see that,” laughed Connie as the various bowls around his room suddenly entered her sight. “Want me to make you something that’s not soup?”
Steven looked at her with wide eyes. “Connie, I would love nothing more.”
So they relocated to the kitchen as Connie opened each cupboard, looking for something to make. Each cupboard had a plethora of soup cans.
“Why did Pearl get so much soup?” She asked
Steven shrugged. “It’s what humans eat when they’re sick,” he said. “I guess dad mentioned it once to her and after everything that happened... she really wanted me to get better.”
“I guess I understand that,” said Connie as she slowly closed the cupboard. “Hmmm how about... a grilled cheese? I don’t know what else-.”
“Yes!!!” Steven sang with a bolt of energy he hadn’t had in weeks. “Connie that’s perfect!”
“Okay,” she smiled, happy to see him happy. “But only if you look through those pamphlets while I make it.”
“Deal,” he said, sitting down at the table totally focused, determined to read each one cover to cover. The two coexisted in silence for a few minutes, engrossed in their tasks until Steven found the courage to speak. “Wow, they all seem so...”
“Experienced?” Offered Connie.
“Serious,” said Steven. “I... I guess I didn’t realize how much was wrong with me...”
“Hey, hold on!” Said Connie, turning down the burner and rushing to sit beside him at the table. “There is nothing wrong with you.” She said as she waved a spatula in his face.
“I mean, everyone keeps saying that but-.”
“But nothing!” She said, setting the utensil down to take his hands in hers, though he looked down at the table. “You’re kind and sweet and smart. Therapy isn’t about finding what’s wrong with you it’s about helping you understand things. It’s about helping you find answers that are difficult to find by yourself. You’ve helped everyone else, this is just a way to help yourself.”
“Like help m-my trauma?” He tried to laugh. Connie nodded. Steven took a deep breath. “But what about you?”
“Me?”
“When your mom said I had trauma,” he began. “In the hospital... she asked me... and all the things that... there was so much you were there for. The bubble, almost drowning, Homeworld...”
“Steven...” she said softly, he turned from her, afraid he would cry. The very notion that she felt even a fragment of what he had felt...
“Steven,” she continued. “I’m okay.”
“You say that now,” he said, wiping away a tear. “But that’s what I thought. And I don’t want you to hate me. I mean, I don’t hate the gems or the diamonds or anything but... you... I brought you into this... and I know you said...”
“We’re in this together,” she finished with great strength. “No matter what that means. If it’s sword fighting and intergalactic travel, that’s fine! But if it’s just sitting and talking and reading Unfamiliar Familiar, that’s fine with me. If it’s sad sometimes and hard to understand, well... that’s fine too.”
“But...”
“Steven, I used to think my life was too boring for you, but you liked me for me. And I like you for you, whether or not you have a magical destiny or unresolved issues. As for my trauma... I always had you. You were there to reassure me that I could handle it or you took the blow for me. You were the best friend I could ever hope for... plus my mom has made me see a therapist since I was 8...”
“Oh,” Steven chuckled, slightly embarrassed.
“Yeah,” She replied, returning to the stove. “I come with issues of my own. But I promise it does help. Even though most of my sessions, my therapist didn’t quite believe me when I said I was taking sword fighting lessons from an ageless alien gem warrior.”
Steven laughed. “I bet that was a first!”
Connie laughed with him. “Before that we mostly discussed my trouble making friends, and then I met you. And then, we mostly talked about you.”
Steven exhaled sharply. “Me?” He dared asked, nervous.
“Yeah,” she chuckled, focusing on the melting cheese. “I mostly talked about my crush on you.”
The sandwich sizzled on the pan but Steven did not continue the conversation. Connie turned and saw his face contorted in shock and surprise.
“What?!” He exclaimed, louder than he had spoken in days.
“What?” She repeated, genuinely confused. “Oh, wait. Did you really not know I had a crush on you?” She said it so casually as she flipped the sandwich.
“No!” He said, nearly falling out of his chair. “Why didn’t you tell me?!”
“Well, I didn’t know,” she said, her face slightly blushing. “Not really. I just talked about you a lot and how you made me feel. I though it was just what having a friend was like! But there was so much going on-.”
“Connie!” Exclaimed Steven, far too dramatically. “When was this?”
“Oh wow,” she said, her mind racing. “Not too long after we met, I guess. I think it was when around the time you healed my eyes was when I-.”
“That was so early!”
“Steven, we were young!” She laughed, flipping the sandwich before it burned. “I was still developing my opinions on romance! Besides, if my mother knew I had a crush on you she never would have let me come over so often. Though, I’m pretty sure she suspected-.”
“Your mom knew?”
“Probably,” she laughed at the memory, looking a plate for the sandwich. “But of course she didn’t want to assume. It’s probably for the better, she would’ve only been stricter.”
“I can’t even imagine that,” laughed Steven as Connie brought over the finished creation, cut in four triangles just as he liked it. They each took one and basked in its warmth. “Mhmmm so cheesy!” He exclaimed, savoring each bite. “I guess it’s for the best, mostly because I’m pretty sure I’ve had a crush on you since before I even knew what a crush was! Haha, she definitely wouldn’t have let you come over then!”
Connie nearly spit out her sandwich. “What?” She managed to say despite a mouth full of bread.
“Yeah, I guess I can talk about that in therapy,” he said as he chewed, deep in memory. “Maybe? Is that what you’re supposed to do?”
“What do you mean?”
“I- oh no,” he cut himself off, afraid he had said too much. I mean, I guess I didn’t make it a secret, but is therapy only for secrets? Was it supposed to be a secret? I mean, when my dad talked about my mom and how they were that’s how I thought we were-.”
“Aw, Steven,” she said, covering her mouth as he swallowed her bite of grilled cheese. “That’s... actually really sweet.”
“R-really?” He asked, suddenly bashful.
“Yes,” she confirmed, unwavering. “I mean, schmaltz has always been your department. You were always better at this kind of stuff anyway, feelings and knowing how people felt. You made me better too. I always thought you knew! Like... like the day you healed my eyes I was... well, maybe not..”
“What?”
“Well,” she began, only a little nervous. “I had heard stories about... romance.... a little and how it worked. And that day when you told me that story... I wanted to reassure you I guess, I almost...”
“Almost what!”
She started laughing. “I almost kissed you!”
“What?!”
“I know!” She exclaimed, the laughter increasing. “You were crying and for some reason I thought... oh, can you imagine? If I had and then my eyes had healed? Oh!” She wiped away a tear as her laughter began to subside. “I mean, it only took me nearly three years later to try again but...”
“Try again?”
“Oh, before I went to space camp I thought-.”
“Wait, you still had a crush on me before space camp!?”
Connie liked at him as though he was playing a practical joke on her. “Yes,” she said bluntly. “I though that was... obvious?”
It was his turn to nearly spit out his sandwich. “What?!”
“Steven, I thought you knew!” She exclaimed. “Isn’t that why-?”
“Why what?”
“Why you, uh...” it was still an awkward subject to bring up so causally.
“I proposed,” he grimaced, though with less despair than before. The memory had been demoted from a trigger to a slight embarrassment. “I realize now I skipped a lot of steps, huh?” He chuckled.
“Ya think?” Connie said with a raise of her eyebrow, joining the joke and the two shared a grand laugh. Steven missed the sound of her laugh, the way she laughed when it was only the two of them: unfiltered and loud.
“Oh boy,” he sighed. “Do you think I would have had better luck if I had just asked you to be my girlfriend instead?”
“Definitely,” said Connie as she rose to put the dish in the sink, responding like it was an inquiry she heard every day.
“Wait, really?” Asked Steven, his grin almost too wide for his face.
“I, uh, mean maybe?” Sputtered Connie as the conversation caught up with her. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “If that was something you wanted, I mean...”
“Like when Archamicarus asks Lisa if she’ll follow him to the misty forest? Even though he doesn’t know what might happen?” He tried. Connie turned to him with wide eyes, the comparison sending a thunder bolt through her heart in the best possible way.
“And Lisa says of course, no question,” she continued, moving back over to the table to the seat beside him. “Because they’ve always been there for each other and this next step was written by the great elders.”
Steven moves his chair closer to hers. “And when they walk past the everlasting volcano, all he can think about is how her eyes shine in the light and how much he wants to see her eyes shine forever.”
She moved her seat closer to him. “And even though Lisa knows there’s a bigger mystery to solve, all she cares about is being by his side, even as they enter the deadly oasis from which no one returns.”
His hand gently clasped over hers on the table. “T-those are really good books,” he said quietly.
“They’re very well written,” agreed Connie as she found herself engrossed in his eyes, moving closer and closer to him. The distant between them was growing smaller as they each tried to think of more book quotes to say but found themselves determined to see the moment through. A familiar wind blew through Connie’s hair as she timidly placed her free hand on his cheek. Her eyelids grew heavy as a old feeling swirled in her heart, this time unrushed as her face inched closer. Steven follows suit and a new shade of pink creaky on his face, this one welcomed and filled will suspense. He wanted nothing more than to instantly end the space that separated them, and as he-
“Steven we’re home!” sang Pearl as she burst through the front door, shopping bags gracing her arms. Connie and Steven immediately faced forward, fiercely blushing and trying to act as though nothing had been interrupted, because nothing had been interrupted unfortunately.
“Yo, we gotchu more soup man!” Added Amethyst. “Hurry up and eat it so I can eat the can!”
“Amethyst, eaten two already,” sighed Pearl. “Oh, hello Connie!” Pearl said, delighted to see the girl. “Will you be joining us for lunch? I’ve got plenty of soups to chose from!”
“Um actually, I think I should be heading out,” she said quickly rising from her chair. “I think I left some pamphlets at home and we want to make sure this decision is as informed as possible and it’s getting late so I should go. Bye Steven!” She grabbed her bag and made and mad dash past the gems.
“Hello Connie!” Greeted Garnet, carrying more soup as Connie passed her running down the stairs. Lion met her below as Garnet made her way inside, beaming. “So, Steven, I trust you had a good time while we were- oh no.”
“What’s wrong?” Asked Amethyst.
Garnet lowered her glasses to confirm her suspicions. “We’re in the grilled cheese timeline,” she said simply, starring at the half eaten piece that remained on the table. “We should’ve returned 4.6 minutes later. We’ve messed up his funky flow.”
“What?” Asked Pearl with a faint smile.
“No time to explain,” said Garnet calmly. “Steven, bring this to Connie.” She reached to her left and showed him a bright blue umbrella Connie had left there months ago. “She forgot it.”
“It’s not even raining,” replied Steven, and at that very moment a loud crack of thunder ripped though the air. “I’m okay... but, she has Lion. He can teleport; she won’t get wet.”
“Steven, she forgot it. And she wants you to bring it to her.” Garnet said this slowly, hoping to never over explain herself. Steven realized how little convincing he needed to chase after Connie as he grabbed the umbrella and ran. He skipped the stairs and floated down, luckily Lion hadn’t teleported yet.
“Connie!” He called as loud as he could, though now the rain was getting pretty intense. He worried she wouldn’t hear him over the rainfall. “Connie!”
Lion was about to jump though the portal, but luckily, at the last second, Connie turned around.
“Steven?” She asked, confused. She hopped off Lion and ran toward him, worried. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine!” He said as they met in the middle, the rain dowsing their faces.
“Are you sure?” She chuckled lightly. “You’re soaking wet.”
“Exactly!” He said proudly. “That’s why I brought you this!” He went to present her with the umbrella but saw his outstretched hand was empty. Confused, he looked around and saw the umbrella several feet behind him laying on the ground, practically still st the temple. “Garnet said you, uh forgot something. Hold on.”
He generated a shield to keep the rain off them, the least he could do since he blamed himself for her getting wet now. He moved closer to her to ensure she was covered, the pink light reflected on them and Connie was grateful as she assumed it hid her blush.
“Garnet said that huh?” She asked brightly, fidgeting with her hair.
“Yeah,” he sighed, disappointed he couldn’t come to her rescue. “But I dropped it. Unless you forgot something else.”
“I think I might have...” she said and his eyes look to her in confusion. Hers were certain and soft as she stepped closer and placed both hands on his face. He remained still as she pulled herself In to erase the space and place an eager yet chaste kiss on his lips. His eyes widened beige they closed as he absentmindedly dropped the shield and placed his arms to his sides, out of disbelief and uncertainty. But soon enough he leaned into it and a familiar glow surrounded them.
Suddenly, Stevonnie stood in the rain, the cool water flattening their hair but they didn’t mind. They were embodied in a warm sensation of love, that was somehow both familiar and unfamiliar. It was curious and certain but most importantly it was shared. They spun around, embracing themself smiling like they’d never smiled before.
“Wow,” they murmured, a conversation buzzing within them. They erupted into a collection of giggles, giddy beyond belief.
“Is this gonna happen every time we kiss?” Laughed the Connie part of them.
“Every time?!”
Another flash of light and Connie and Steven returned to the beach, right back in their positions minus Steven’s shield to hold back the rain. Steven looked at his friend with wider eyes than he thought he was capable of, suddenly unworthy of her gaze but she refused to surrender it. He cleared his throat, not really wanting to leave this moment but he knew if they didn’t she’d catch a cold. “Lets uh, get Lion, better uh... get you home.”
She smiled as followed him over, their fingers laced which was nothing new but somehow now... it was. He used his floating powers to lift her onto Lion’s back, which he knew he didn’t have to do but she was glad he did.
“So, uh, is... that what you forgot?” He asked from the ground, his collar somehow feeling hot in the rain.
“Yeah,” she said as Lion made his way forward, the pairs eyes never leaving one another. “Thanks for holding onto it for me. Think I’ll forget it again tomorrow.” Lion dashed off into the portal as she left Steven with a parting wink. He stayed there a few moments after she left, processing what had happened and when it finally sank in he leapt I to the air victoriously.
“Steven!” He heard Pearl call from the house. “Come inside for some soup! Garnet says you’re going to catch a cold!”

sweet spot || pt.3
Paring: Steve Harrington x Original Female Character (Lex)
Summary: After meeting through a cam girl site, Lex and Steve are still happily together some time later. Lex gets a wild idea, and definitely doesn’t expect Steve to go with it. (AKA: part 3 of sweet spot! catch up here, and here. Modern day AU!)
Word count: 5.5k
Warnings: language, and smut, obviously. (Sub!Steve, Domme!Lex, light bondage, oral sex, toys, dirty talk/praise kink, etc.)
A/N: hi! I truly wasn’t planning to do a third part of this, but a reader asked me ages ago if I did, to use the idea of Steve and Lex doing a show together, so, here it is. (If you’re the person who suggested the idea, please let me know so I can properly credit and thank you! I can’t seem to find the ask you sent awhile back 🥺) forgive me in advance for how sinful this turned out to be lmao. obviously don’t read if this ain’t your thing, but if it is, I hope you enjoy! <3
“Soooo....” Steve dragged out, curiosity getting the best of him as his eyes landed on a large box by Lex’s front door. He jerked his chin towards the box. “What’s that?”
Lex smiled sweetly before biting her lip, snaking her arms around Steve’s neck. “Just some stuff for work.” She pressed kisses gently along the edge of his jawline.
“That’s vague.” Steve said, wanting to question further, but grew distracted with Lex throwing her leg over his lap, straddling him. Ignoring the hard on already growing, he grabbed Lex’s hips, stopping her from moving further. “What’s in the box?”
“Toys, for work, I said that.” Lex answered, trying to move on from the subject, trying her best to grind her hips down onto his, but Steve held his grip firmly. Lex pouted.
“It’s unlike you to rip boxes of new toys open.” Steve observed, eyes flicking down to Lex biting her lip again, but holding strong, not giving into her charm. Again, he persisted, voice low. “Show me what’s in there.”
Lex stiffened up, eyes darting to the box, then back to Steve’s gaze. “It’s stuff you’re not gonna be into.”
“Didn’t think I’d be into a lot of stuff, and look how much has changed in the last few months.” He countered, raising a brow. Lex smirked.
“Sorry for corrupting you, cutie.” She teased, shrugging, before leaning back in to pick up where she left off with the trail of kisses. Steve pushed her back by her shoulders, though, throwing Lex’s face back into a frown. “Baaaaaabe.”
“Show me.” Steve commanded, tone firm. Lex pouted and pushed herself off Steve’s lap, retrieving the box.
It wasn’t that Lex was nervous to show Steve what she bought; so far in their relationship, Steve had been more open minded with exploring new things in bed with Lex. It was more so nerve wracking for Lex because she ordered things not just for herself, but for Steve too.
“Okay, before I open it, just, like, hear me out.” Lex said as she sat on the coffee table across from Steve who was still on the couch. He raised a brow, even more curious now.
Steve noticed Lex was pressing her thighs together already, desperate to feel some kind of touch against her core, something she did when she grew impatient when Steve teased her. His hands slid up her legs, forcing them apart. Lex whined.
“I got stuff for me... and you too... I hope that’s okay.” Lex said softly, biting her lip. Steve’s eyes lit up.
“Yeah, of course. You know I’ll try almost anything with you once.” Steve reassured her, and Lex nodded, remembering this has been agreed upon in the first weeks of their relationship. Still, her stomach flipped.
“If you end up hating it, we don’t have to, and I can use most of them at least.” Lex rushed to add. “So, no pressure.”
“Lex, babe, it’s fine, seriously-“
“It’s not even the toys I’m nervous about, I- ugh- okay-“ Lex shoved the box across the table, elbows on her knees and throwing her chin in her hands, covering her face a bit. Steve could still tell she was blushing, face red as cherries.
Lex inhaled sharply, held her breath for a moment, before exhaling quickly: “Myfanswannameetyou.”
Steve tilted his head, confused that that had his girlfriend so worked up. A confused smile played up on his face. “You post ten times more than I do on social media, and half of your posts are cheesy ones about us. I’m pretty sure they know who I am, yeah?”
Lex shook her head, sighing. “No-no-no, like, they want to know you on the level they know me. ... like... you... do a show... with me...”
It took a moment for the lightbulb to go off, but when it did, it was Steve’s turn for his face to grow cherry red. Lex bit her lip nervously, waiting for his reaction.
“... Oh.” Was all Steve could say, and Lex buried her face in her hands.
“I’m sorry! We don’t have to! It’s a lot to ask anyone to do, I should’ve just known not to ask-“
“Lex, wait-“
“- sex work is no joke, and it’s like, I get it, what if your friends find you online, or whatever-“
“Lex, hold on-“
“-and I should’ve known you want to keep your sex life private-“
Steve shoved himself to the edge of the couch, cutting Lex off with a rough kiss, knee resting just between Lex’s thighs. Immediately Lex rolled her hips forward, brushing her core against Steve’s leg, moaning into his mouth. Lex caught his bottom lip between her teeth, gently tugging, earning a groan out of Steve.
Before she could move further, Lex was pushed back by Steve, his pupils blown wide with lust as he held himself back.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but... yeah. Fuck it.” Steve breathed, smile growing on his face. “I wouldn’t wanna do this with anyone but you.”
“You sure? Please don’t feel like you have to say-“
Steve kissed Lex, quickly, cutting her off again. “Yes. I mean it. I’m sure.”
A smile broke across Lex’s sweet face, and she threw her arms around Steve as she attacked his face with kisses. “You’re the best, you know that?”
Steve blushed with a shrug, letting his eyes fall back onto the box. “So... you gonna show me what’s in there now?”
———
Steve and Lex had already reached that comfortable stage in their relationship, keeping open minds, trying nearly anything once in bed.
There was so much uncharted territory for the both of them, with Lex only really playing solo for her shows, and Steve’s sex life prior to Lex had only ever been vanilla. Still, Lex was more experienced than Steve, and sometimes it felt intimidating. Even then, it was still exciting.
So when Lex asked if they could switch roles, Steve wasn’t completely surprised. Usually he was the more dominant one out of the pair, but Lex took control when she wanted to sometimes, and she was damn good at it. She could drop her default good girl demeanor in an instant, and it drove Steve wild.
Steve was familiar with Lex’s “playroom”, the room she used for her shows and filming extra clips to sell, and over time they had fucked around a lot in it. Using it for a show for the both of them, though, that had Steve a bit on edge... and yet, it still turned him on more than anything.
It’s just a step up from when you help her film and take photos for her, that’s it, Steve tried telling himself, shaking the nerves.
Sure, the idea Lex and him fucking always turned him on, always left him rock hard, but something about sharing that with strangers on the internet left a chill up his spine. There was something oddly thrilling about letting people peek into such an intimate part of their lives.
The bonus, of course, was the money Lex would be rolling in, as always. Steve couldn’t ever be insecure of that, he trusted Lex, and loved that she was so confident in making money with her body.
Standing with her back against the playroom’s door, she looked up at Steve, who hovered over her, biting his lip, anticipating what was about to come.
“Okay, so... fair warning... it’s just a little different in there. If you don’t like anything, we don’t have to do this. I didn’t start the stream yet, not until you give me the okay. And don’t give it to me until you’re absolutely certain.” Lex rambled, warning Steve as her eyes wandered his body. He was only in a shirt and boxer briefs. Steve’s eyes trailed across Lex’s body in reply, curious as to what she was wearing under her satin pink robe. His brow quirked up as he smiled.
“Lex, I’m fine with this. I want to do this with you. I’ll tell you if that changes, I promise.” Steve reassured her, and Lex nodded, sighing, dropping her smile and filling her eyes with a look Steve hadn’t ever seen before. It was intense, lust filled, and carried her confidence in a different light.
Lex pushed the door open, and Steve’s eyes went wide at the sight immediately. The usual pastel, brightly coloured playroom had a makeover, covering the majority of it and its contents in darker shades, mostly black, red, and deep pink. The fairy lights were replaced with red and pink LED strip lights, and the curtains were shut, replaced with blackout fabric. Candles lit around the room, giving it a warm, dim glow. Lex replaced the bright lilac sheets on the bed with hot pink satin ones. All Lex’s brightly coloured toys were put away, and replaced with ones that matched the room’s new aesthetic.
Steve gulped, feeling his pants grow tighter as he grew harder. Lex turned to him, biting a lip with a smirk, and grabbed his hand to lead him inside.
The camera and laptop setup Lex used was set up in front of the bed, and another camera was directly above the bed.
Shifting weight from one foot to the other, Steve stood awkwardly, waiting for direction from Lex.
“You alright with this, cutie?” Lex asked sweetly, contrasting starkly among their surroundings. Steve nodded slowly, still taking in the room’s transformation. “Wait on the bed for me, okay?”
Steve clumsily slid onto the edge of the bed, sliding a little more than he expected due to the smooth fabric of the sheets. Lex looked over her shoulder from her laptop and tried to stifle a laugh.
“Ready?” Lex asked, smirking at Steve.
With another slow nod, feeling his heartbeat in his throat, still more excited than nervous, Steve answered, “Ready as I’ll ever be.”
Lex turned back to the screen, opening a playlist that began to echo lowly from speakers, and started up the stream and chat room she used regularly. She stood in front of the camera, hiding Steve, and left the aerial view off for now. A few moments passed before she greeted the viewers. “Hi, cuties! A lot of regulars have been requesting I do a show with someone else, and I have a surprise for you all.”
Immediately chimes rang out from her laptop, and Steve could see the chat box wildly scrolling with new replies. A few tip chimes already rang out, probably from some of Lex’s regulars.
Okay, Steve couldn’t lie, sometimes he was a little jealous of other guys ogling at his girlfriend, but this was Lex’s job. This was how she made her living, and made a damn good one for herself. He reminded himself that he was the one that got to be with Lex, and that’s what truly mattered at the end of the day.
Plus, did he really have room to be jealous when he met Lex through this job?
“No, not another girl, sorry to disappoint. Guess that’ll weed the weak ones out early, huh?” Lex giggled, and that thought caught Steve off guard, blood pumping hard, straight to Steve’s-
“A lot of you wanted to meet someone very special to me, so we thought we’d do a show together.” Lex mused, backing off from the camera, sauntering around the bedposts to the edge where Steve awkwardly sat. Lex reached for his face, gently pulling him close for a soft, slow kiss. Steve couldn’t help moaning lowly into the kiss, already wound up.
“This is my boyfriend, and I need you guys to give him the warmest welcome, because it’s his very first show, okay?” Lex said, voice so sweet, it would sound sickening coming from anyone else. But coming from Lex, it was Steve’s favourite sound in the world.
Steve flashed a shy smile and a quick wave. Lex turned back to the screen, activating the aerial camera, before looking back at her boyfriend.
“Safe word?” Lex asked softly, and it still took Steve by surprise, eyes wide staring back at her. He knew what a safe word was for, but he never used one with Lex before. They had their moments, intense and heated, sure, but never intense enough for the possibility of a safe word to come into place.
“Uh-“ Steve stalled, scrambling to come up with a proper safe word, unsure what would even be considered a proper safe word, blurting out the first thing that came to mind, “-um.... stop...?”
Lex wasn’t expecting such an obvious answer and couldn’t help snorting. Steve laughed along with her, feeling silly for overthinking his answer, but he felt his nerves loosen up as they laughed together.
Turning back to the camera across the room, Lex looked toward it, “And that is why I’m dating this guy.”
Steve felt his face grow red, dragging his palm across it as he laughed. Lex felt good seeing the goofiness between them ease him into the new environment. As the laughter died out, she reached out to Steve’s face, grabbing his chin in her thumb and forefinger. Lex tilted his face up to his, and Steve blushed as his wide eyes stayed fixated on her, flickering between her eyes and her lips.
“You gonna be a good boy for me?” Lex asked, voice low, filled with lust. Steve’s eyes grew wider as he nodded quickly, biting his lip. Lex smirked as she flipped her hair over her shoulder, pushing back from him before commanding, “Shirt off. On your knees, baby boy.”
Steve scrambled off of the edge of the bed, pulling his shirt over his head as he fell to his knees quickly. Lex pulled the tie from her robe, letting it fall around her, revealing her outfit: a black, leather bra, garter belt, and stockings. She skipped wearing panties altogether.
Steve was certain he had died and went straight to heaven. Or hell. Somewhere, anywhere other than here. He couldn’t help breathing out, “Fuck.”
Lex smirked down at him, and immediately Steve reached out to grab her legs, wanting so badly to bury his face between them, but Lex pressed her palm against his forehead, holding him back.
“Did I say you could touch me?” Lex asked. Steve gulped, shaking his head no. Lex raised a brow, cradling his face in her hand. “What was that?”
“N-no, Lex.” Steve stuttered, and Lex’s eyes narrowed as she smirked down at him.
He tried to ignore how painfully tight his boxers felt as he grew harder, though it felt so good. Steve loved taking control in the bedroom in relationships, but he loved Lex taking control more.
Chimes rang out from Lex’s computer, signaling more tips. Lex smiled at the camera, then back down to Steve, trailing her hand through his hair slowly.
“Get to work, pretty boy.” She commanded, tugging his head closer to her center, though Steve didn’t need much convincing. Wasting no time, his hands flew to her legs, trailing upward, curving over her ass, pulling her forward to him. His hands kneaded into her skin as he began to kiss her core, licking across her clit, sending a jolt through her body, and a moan spilled from her lips.
Lex looked down, knot in her stomach already tightening as her eyes locked with Steve’s, while he continued to passionately work his tongue against her sensitive nub.
“That’s it, right there, baby boy.” Lex moaned, eyes almost fluttering shut as she began losing herself in the pleasure. She kept her composure, though, not wanting to climax just yet.
Steve moved a hand to Lex’s entrance, slowly pushing a finger in as he continued to roll his tongue over Lex’s clit. He could honestly do this for the entire show and be fine with it. Sure, he liked receiving, but he liked the way Lex tasted more.
Lex let out a loud moan as Steve gently sucked on her sensitive nub, adding a second finger, and all concerns of waiting to climax were shoved out the window. Steve smirked at the sounds falling from Lex’s lips, keeping his pace with his mouth and fingers.
The sound of Lex’s moans as she rode out her high and tips coming in were enough to make Steve feel dizzy, but the sight of Lex above him shaking, struggling to keep herself upright, nearly made him come undone, too.
As Lex caught her breath, she looked down to Steve, who was pressing kisses to her heat and her thighs. Lex ran her hand through his hair. “I was going to just tease and edge you for awhile, but you deserve a reward after that. Up.”
Steve rushed to his feet, excited and anxious to see what was next. Lex’s heels made her almost the same height as Steve, and didn’t need to push up on her feet to kiss him as usual. She could taste herself on his lips, and the thought of that drove Steve wild. He groaned into the kiss, and Lex reached a hand up to his chest, gently pushing him back onto the bed.
“Up against the headboard.” Lex commanded, and Steve scrambled to shimmy up the bed, anticipating Lex’s every move. “Eyes closed, got it?”
Steve scrunched his eyes shut while he bit his lip, anxiety and excitement only building more and more. “Yes, Lex.”
Lex turned to a dresser that she stored most of her toys in, pulled a drawer open, and grabbed the ones she ordered just days before this. The toys that brought Steve to agreeing to do a show with Lex.
“Eyes better still be closed.” Lex warned, shutting the drawer with her hip, hands full with what she needed. Steve nodded quickly, eyes still shut, drawing a smirk from Lex. She moved swiftly, climbing onto the bed and straddling Steve, immediately feeling how hard he was under her.
A whine left Steve’s lips at the contact of Lex straddling his lap, but he held himself back from arching his hips into hers with any self control he still had left.
Lex reached for Steve’s arms with each of her’s, pulling them together above Steve’s head, working quickly to bind his wrists together in a handcuff knot with satin rope. Lex secured the restraints to the headboard of the bed, all while slowly grinding her core against Steve’s bulge. Steve was sure he was going to cum from this contact alone, but miraculously somehow held himself together.
Next, Steve felt fabric softly dance across his eyelids, realizing he wouldn’t be seeing Lex during this. The thought both bothered and thrilled him. Lex tightened the knot of the blindfold, ghosting her breath over his neck, and into his ear as her hips rolled again, and Steve couldn’t help letting out a sinful moan.
“L-Lex...” Steve stuttered out, as softly as he could, panting already.
“Yes?”
“I- uh- um- I’m not going to last long if you keep doing that.” He admitted, red cheeks peeking from under the edge of the blindfold.
“That’s not my problem, pretty boy.” Lex teased, grinding down again, amused at the way Steve was so easily wound up. “You’re gonna give me all you got, whether you cum early or not.”
Steve tugged his wrists on the rope, the feeling of that alone making his cock start dripping precum, soaking through his boxer briefs.
“Lex...” Steve whined, rolling his body towards Lex’s, desperate to be touched, to feel any sort of contact with any part of Lex. Lex threw a hand to his hips and forced them back down to the bed.
“Don’t make me revoke your reward.” Lex warned, voice soft, still with an edge. Steve shut his mouth instantly. She slid down Steve’s body, pulling his underwear off. Steve’s member sprung out, harder than Lex had ever seen him, and Steve couldn’t help the moan of relief that escaped from his lips.
“You want to feel good, baby?” Lex asked, trailing kisses up his legs, slowly moving to his inner thighs. Steve’s breath hitched in his throat, unsure if he should answer. Lex noticed. “Answer me.”
“Y-yes, Lex.” Steve moaned out, feeling Lex’s breath fan out against his cock, painfully hard, desperate for Lex’s touch of any kind.
“You think you can cum more than once tonight?” Lex asked, shooting a devilish smirk into the camera. Chimes of the tip alerts went off immediately. “I think they want to see a good show, you think we can give that to them? Think you can handle it?”
Steve bit his lip as he nodded furiously. “Yes, Lex.”
“Good boy.” Lex replied before reaching for Steve’s cock with one hand, following with her mouth lightly sucking on his balls. On contact, Steve hissed, unsure where Lex would start first. She continued to stroke him softly while sucking and licking. It didn’t take long for Steve to start whining and moaning, sounding so desperate.
“You make the prettiest sounds, Steve.” Lex moaned into his skin, licking a slow, teasing stripe up the underside of his cock. Steve moaned louder, pulling against his restraints, wanting so badly to run his fingers through Lex’s hair. Wanting so badly to take charge, fuck her face, but he wasn’t in control here, not tonight. Lex had the reins, and he had to accept that.
Lex slowly swirled her tongue around the tip of his cock, carefully tasting the bit of precum left on the tip. Steve flexed his hips up as he whined, and Lex laughed.
“You’re so needy already, and you don’t even know what’s next.” Lex teased before taking the head into her mouth. Swiftly, she took him in further and further, hitting the back of her throat. Steve loved the feeling when Lex deepthroated him, it made him dizzy, made him feel high. He arched his hips again, trying to savor the feeling. He couldn’t see the way Lex drooled as she leaned up and off his cock, but it sure did get them extra tips.
“Lex, please-“
“Please, what, Steve?” Lex taunted, kitten licking his tip again. Steve shuddered.
“Please don’t stop, Miss Lex.” Steve moaned out, wriggling against his restraints again. The way he addressed Lex caught her off guard, but it was hot. “It’s driving me crazy I can’t touch you.”
“You can touch me soon, if you continue to be good...” Lex responded, trailing off as she reached back behind her on the bed to grab something else. Steve whined at the loss of contact. “I got a surprise for you, baby boy.”
Before Steve could ask what Lex was even talking about, he felt a pressure slide over his member, squeezing him gently. Steve whimpered.
“W-what is that?” Steve asked, arching his hips up again, so, so desperate for Lex to give him any release, anything at all.
Lex reached out to his cock, and the ring settled at the base, and flipped the switch, causing it to vibrate softly. Immediately, moans spilled from Steve’s lips.
“Fuck... f-fuck, what is that?” Steve moaned, asking again as his hips wriggled underneath her. Lex smiled.
“Cock ring. Look at you, so desperate, so needy for more.” Lex groaned. “Who makes you this hard, baby boy? Who makes you feel like this?”
Lex flipped the vibration a little higher, and Steve cried out. “You! You, Miss Lex!”
“Good boy.” Lex responded, taking Steve in her mouth again. The feeling of Lex’s mouth on him and the cock ring vibrating around him was almost too much. The restraints and blindfold only added to the feeling. All he could do was lay there and enjoy the feeling, as intense and as mindblowing as it already felt.
“Fuck, that feels so good.” Steve groaned, rolling his hips towards Lex. With a sloppy “pop!” Lex lifted herself from Steve, continuing the pace with her hand.
“Yeah? You like that?” Lex asked, flipping the vibration up one more time. Steve moaned out, louder than Lex had ever heard him before. Sure, he wasn’t quiet during sex, but good god, he was sure hiding his most sinful moans until tonight. It was enough to make Lex wet already.
“Good boy.” Lex lowly moaned, and like a flip of a switch, that was enough to set Steve off. His hips jerked wildly as Lex continued to stroke him. His body shook as he rode out the high, feeling like he was seeing stars as Lex softly moaned praises into his ear. He hadn’t ever felt an orgasm like this before.
“Jesus fucking christ.” Steve breathed, chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. Lex leaned down, licking up his cock once more, cleaning him up along the way. Steve shuddered.
“We’re not done yet.” Lex said, crawling up Steve’s body, pressing hot, open mouthed kisses along his skin. She continued the kisses up his neck, along his jawline, ending at his mouth with a slow, passionate kiss. Steve could just barely taste himself on Lex’s lips. It was dirty, hot and had him wanting more.
“You can lose one, the blindfold or the ties, which is it?” Lex bargained, continuing to kiss him down his neck once more, sucking softly along his sensitive spots.
Steve felt dizzy, still recovering from the moment just minutes before, wondering if he could last any longer. “Uh- um-“ Steve hesitated, torn between wanting to have his hands all over his girlfriend, or see her and what she was doing to him. “- Blindfold.”
Lex untied the blindfold, and Steve opened his eyes, blurry, adjusting to the dim light, eyes already fixated back on Lex. Smiling, Lex threw the blindfold aside, kissing Steve once more before pulling back just enough to look at him.
“You remember your safe word?”
“Yes, Miss Lex.”
Lex smirked but blushed, surprised at how well Steve was taking the role change. She knew he was a switch, but never knew he was this good at it.
Spinning herself around, Lex had her face closer to Steve’s member again, and her core directly in front of Steve. Lex could feel his hot breath against her skin.
“Make me feel good as I make you feel, pretty boy.” Lex commanded before dipping her head back down to Steve’s cock, licking slowly up and down once more. Still sensitive, Steve moaned out, shaking already. He leaned forward as much as he could, burying his face in between Lex’s thighs again, noticing how wet she was already.
Lex moaned as she took Steve’s length into her mouth, hitting the back of her throat again, hollowing her cheeks out, letting her moans vibrate against his skin. The overwhelming feeling made Steve moan in return directly into Lex’s folds as he licked slow, teasing stripes up and down, circling around her clit.
Reaching down to the base of Steve’s cock where the ring still laid, Lex flipped the switch on again, sending vibrations up his hard length once more. Steve groaned out, rolling his hips forward, pushing himself further into Lex’s throat.
It didn’t take long for the two of them to make each other cum, riding the high out again, together this time as they were in a sixty-nine position. They were both so blissed out in the pleasure, neither of them noticed the sounds of tips being sent their way by any viewers. By this point, it felt like it was just the two of them, and not broadcasting it to hundreds of viewers.
Lex turned her head, looking over her shoulder to Steve, who was trying to catch his breath again, smiling softly as his face was flushed and hot, glistening from Lex’s climax.
Switching her position, Lex turned around to face Steve, kissing him softly, tasting herself on his lips. It was dirty, but it only turned them on even more.
“Miss Lex...” Steve breathed out lowly, still loud enough for the camera to hear. Lex quirked a brow as she smirked.
“What do you want, baby boy?” Lex asked, though she knew perfectly well what Steve desired. Steve whimpered, unsure he could even cum again, but still wanted to feel Lex’s tight walls around him.
“F-fuck me, please, Lex.” Steve stuttered, nearly spent, but holding out for one more round. Lex kissed him again, softly, slowly, then opening her mouth against his, letting each other in, tongues slowly teasing against one another. Lex bit gently on Steve’s bottom lip, slowly dragging it out before letting it go.
“Anything for you, baby.” Lex said sweetly, reaching to the nightstand for a condom. She ripped it open, sliding it over Steve’s member before looking back up at him, then his tied hands. “You think you can be a good boy if I untie you?”
“Yes, please!” Steve cried out, so desperate to feel Lex’s skin in his hands. Lex reached up, and with a swift tug of the restraints, they fell loose, freeing Steve’s wrists.
Lex flipped around, sinking down on Steve, reverse cowgirl style, the two of them moaning out loudly as they did. Steve was rock hard, Lex was wet and tight as always, and the combination wasn’t going to let either of them last very long.
As Lex began slowly moving and grinding, Steve cupped her ass in his hands, kneading the soft skin, helping moans fall from her lips. Lex looked over her shoulder at him and winked, and that was nearly the death of him.
Continuing to ride Steve, Lex would roll and grind her hips down, then bounce up and down again, sending Steve’s eyes rolling to the back of his head as he gripped onto her hips. He sat up, unhooking Lex’s bra, reaching around her, letting hands wander before groping her breasts, gently teasing and tugging on her nipples. Lex cried out, grinding down on Steve’s cock again. Steve let another hand wander down around Lex, finding her clit, and circling it slowly, teasing her.
Lex was arched up and over Steve, and Steve caught a glimpse in the laptop’s screen, losing his mind over how hot they looked together like this. He thrust his hips up into Lex, causing her to cry out again. Her grinding became sloppy, she was getting close.
“Steve, baby, take me from behind.” Lex panted, and Steve immediately pulled out, pushing Lex face first into the bed before slamming into her from behind. Lex moaned loudly, unable to form words, gripping onto the sheets.
Steve continued to pound into her roughly, gripping her hips, reaching forward to pull her body up flush against his, sucking her neck roughly as his fingers made their way to her clit again. Lex felt it, felt how close her release was, white hot, just on the horizon. Steve was close too, moaning in Lex’s ear, thrusts growing sloppy.
“Cum inside me, pretty boy.” Lex cried out, walls squeezing him, and that was enough to send Steve over the edge, into his third orgasm of the night.
The two rode it out together once more, panting and moaning at the feeling of release again. Lex fell into the bed, giggling in between heavy breaths. Steve laughed, face red, collapsing next to her. In the sweaty, sticky aftermath, they still both held a stunning glow, and took that in from one another, pressing kisses against each other’s faces and skin everywhere they could reach in the moment.
Lex leaned in to kiss Steve softly, then pulled back. “Hold on.” Lex pulled a remote off the nightstand, clicked it towards the computer, sending the cameras and lights off and the screen into darkness.
Steve laughed breathlessly. “What, we’re not gonna say goodbye?”
Lex threw the remote aside again, curling herself around Steve, pressing gentle kisses across his face as she ran her finger through his hair. “Nuh-uh, no way. Aftercare is our time, babe.”
Steve blushed, forgetting all about this after being so caught up in the heat of the moment with Lex. She gently grabbed the condom off of him, tying it and throwing it in a trash can, and removed the ring next. She grabbed washcloths from the bathroom to clean them up with, and then threw them aside on the floor to deal with later. They’d definitely be taking a long nap after this. They usually always did after intense scenes together.
Lex crawled into bed again, and reached out to Steve, gently scratching across his scalp as she continued to play with his hair and press kisses against his hairline. “You did so, so good for me, Steve.” Her fingers trailed around on his skin lightly, drawing shapes as she continued showering Steve in praises.
Usually the praises worked the other way around, but Steve still got butterflies when Lex was in charge, even after sex. There was something so soothing about the aftercare that made him really feel safe and loved in such an experimental relationship as theirs.
“I’m so proud of you, baby boy.” Lex whispered against Steve’s lips, lazily kissing him, still in a daze.
“Thank you for this.” Steve breathed, feeling like he was on a whole different planet from this experience. “Thank you for letting me do this with you, Lex.”
Lex blushed this time, and smiled sweetly as they curled closer into one another, the domme attitude hung up for the night. “Wouldn’t want it with anyone but you, Steve.”

chapter 1 of the food of love is here!
{kristanna / t /modern au / humor and fluff / pride & prejudice inspired}
Legendary food critic Hayden West is known for their scathing reviews of restaurants and wickedly sharp wit. Restaurant owners tremble at the thought of the day the mysterious reviewer will walk through their doors-- never suspecting that Hayden West is, in fact, the redheaded woman with a sketchbook eating a quiet meal alone.
It's an easy enough job for Anna, and she's got her routine down pat, especially with the help of her assistant, Olaf.
And then comes the day she walks into Kristoff Bjorgman's restaurant-- and gets much, much more than she bargained for.
Pencil-- check.
Sketchbook-- check.
Phone, wallet, and keys-- check.
Anna took one last glance at herself in the mirror, smoothing down the navy skirt of her nondescript dress. Her hair, that couldn’t be helped; a wig would stand out even more than the fiery shade of auburn, but she’d pulled it up into a ponytail to keep it mostly out of sight. Simple makeup, plain unbranded shoes-- she appeared entirely unremarkable.
Perfect.
She hummed to herself a little as she locked her apartment and headed towards the stairs. This week’s assignment was easy enough; some new little bistro on the edge of an area that was trendy five years ago.
She liked the little, unfussy places. It was easier to hide when no one cared if she lingered with her sketchbook, easier to see what she was looking for at places where you could hear what was happening in the kitchen while still watching the manager wander around trying to figure out who Hayden West was.
The only clue they ever got was the day Hayden would be there; no photos existed of the mysterious restaurant critic, no matter how many times their scathing reviews went viral. “The Gordon Ramsay of newspaper critics,” that was what the Times had called Hayden after a withering review of a seafood place had garnered a hundred thousand retweets for its description of particularly horrible crab cakes that “deserved neither to be called crab nor cake but perhaps a vaguely saltwater scented cement patty that should be patented and marketed as an instantaneously effective weight loss supplement.”
Anna had been particularly proud of that one. It was a rare day when the food was actually bad enough to warrant such a review on its own; the fact that the manager had gotten into a screaming match that reduced a sixteen year old waitress to tears was simply motivation to hold absolutely nothing back.
She wondered, sometimes, what people would think if they knew the truth: that in fact Hayden had never existed at all and was in fact a twenty-four-year-old woman who’d unexpectedly been promoted into the gig after the man she’d been interning under was unceremoniously given the boot for drunkenly relieving himself on the editor’s lawn, where he had gotten caught by a ferocious Maltese.
The restaurant, thankfully, was only a few blocks away; her car was in desperate need of a replacement everything, but she didn’t have the heart to get rid of it, not when it’d seen her through thick and thin for nearly ten years, from her sixteenth birthday to her college move-ins to her hour long commute to the Tribune’s office for her barely-more-than-unpaid internship.
It came to a creaky halt in front of the restaurant at ten to noon; she’d have just enough time to get seated without having to wait, but she’d bear witness to the midday lunch rush and its aftermath. The place wasn’t much to look at, though she could tell by the small garden out front and the stenciled outlines on the white-painted brick wall that it wasn’t for lack of effort. It had opened only a month ago, the latest in a long line of valiant attempts to put something interesting on this block. If she remembered correctly, six months ago this space had been a design-your-own-lasagna place (wonderful idea, but impossible to execute efficiently); before that, there had been a sugar-free bakery that had been run out of business in two weeks when it was discovered that the only sugar-free thing it sold was bottled water; and even before that, it had been, like most places that were cursed with a constant “for lease” sign, a Jenny Craig.
And now it was just BB’s, a name that was so simple it made her worry that this venture would fail like all its predecessors, especially considering its lack of marketing and online presence; she’d had to send her intern to do some scouting for her to even get her hands on a menu in advance.
“This place is great, boss,” Olaf had said through a mouthful of food as he’d called her on his way back to the office. “They’ve even got cheesecake.”
“With--”
“Chocolate sauce, yeah, yeah, I know how you are. I got the menu for you and had the cute waiter circle all his recommendations, and that was top of the list. Well, not literally top, the desserts are all at the--”
“I knew what you meant, Olaf,” she’d said as she rolled her eyes, a fond smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. “And thanks.”
Now, Anna found herself hoping he had been right about this place when she pushed the door open, bells jingling overhead; it had been far too long since she’d gotten the chance to write an enthusiastic endorsement of a place that really deserved it. To her surprise, only one other table was taken by two men, one broad-shouldered and blond, the other dark-haired and sporting a wide smile the second he laid eyes on her.
“Hi!” he said brightly, leaping to his feet and wiping his hands on his apron. “Welcome to BB’s! Table for one?”
“Yes, please,” she said, returning his smile after a moment’s confusion; if the place was as good as Olaf had said, why was it this desolate on a Saturday at lunchtime?
“I’m Ryder, and I’ll be taking care of you today,” the waiter said, pulling a chair out for her at a table next to the window. “Let me grab you a menu, okay?”
“Thanks,” Anna said, her focus instead on the other man as he rose to his feet and ambled over to the door that led to the kitchen. He was even taller-- and broader, Jesus but those shoulders-- than she’d realized at first.
This place must have been an old-fashioned diner once upon a time, judging by the window to the kitchen through which she could still see him. He was handsome, she supposed, if you liked men with strong jaws and broad noses and floppy golden hair.
And brown eyes, she thought, her cheeks turning bright red as he looked up and caught her staring. She jerked her attention away just as Ryder said cheerfully “Here you go!” as he put a laminated menu on the table in front of her. “The soup of the day is minestrone. What would you like to drink?”
“Water, please, and a coffee,” she said, still trying to cover her embarrassment.
“I’ll brew some fresh for you and be right back,” he said, that broad grin still plastered to his face as he bustled back to the kitchen.
Anna fidgeted a little in her seat as she pulled out her sketchbook. The whole point of her job was going unnoticed, but if she was the only customer in the restaurant today-- shit, this could blow her whole cover, considering each restaurant knew in advance that Hayden was coming that day.
For now, though, she had to worry about her notes, and so she began to sketch the interior of the restaurant in the notepad. She was no great artist by any stretch of the imagination, but it was the best way she’d found to remember her thoughts and impressions of a restaurant without having to worry about prying eyes reading over her shoulder. With each detail she drew, she thought of something specific-- friendly waiter as she scribbled the outline of the door, not busy, why? for the back of a chair, clean, good health rating posted for the box of the kitchen window.
And the menu-- she glanced over it as she doodled it. Simple, Italian-American fare; judging by the names-- Cliff’s Favorite, a deep-dish pizza with meatballs, and Ronnie’s Ravioli-- these were family recipes. She couldn’t help but wonder about what the chef’s family was like as she dared to steal another peek at him. He was working on prepping something, his forehead furrowed in concentration, and if she noticed the way his shoulders strained against his white t-shirt as he did so...well, so long as he didn’t catch her looking again, what did it matter?
The bells over the door jingled, startling her, and she turned to see a chattering group of six friends come in. A feeling of relief washed over her; she hated to see places like this go under fast.
Ryder set her coffee down in front of her, winking as he dropped a couple of creamers beside it, before scurrying over to seat the newcomers. She took a sip as her phone buzzed with a text from Olaf.
how is it?
Good so far. Decent coffee. Not many people here, though, can you send some friends?
aye aye, captain. i’ll remind them to do a better job of pretending not to recognize you this time lol
God, it was hard to remember how she’d used to do this without him. When Hans had first been fired and she’d been unceremoniously promoted into his newly vacant position, she’d spent the first few weeks scrambling to find a restaurant that actually deserved the sort of bad review Hayden West was known for. Hans, of course, had never had such scruples, but it felt wrong to Anna to make a mockery of a place and risk running it out of business when it was run by perfectly nice people, even if they did have a watery hollandaise. She’d used to rely on word of mouth and her own scouting expeditions to try and find places that really deserved it, but it wasn’t until she’d found the place with the shitty crab cakes that she’d finally found a manager who was a big enough asshole to deserve every bad review the place got.
The problem, though, was that when the review had gone viral, it had spelled a complete shutdown for the restaurant. After spending two sleepless nights worrying about the impact it’d have on the rest of the staff, Anna had gone for a second visit-- this time ordering a simple salad that still managed to be disgusting-- and pulled one of the waiters aside, asking about the plans the rests of the staff had for a next job.
And, because that had been her lucky day, the waiter had been Olaf, and he’d been just as enthusiastic as she was about helping connect the rest of the staff with new places more than willing to hire them on-- and he didn’t ask any questions about why, exactly, she cared so much. But when Anna had asked what Olaf himself was looking for as a next step, he’d blushed and admitted, “Honestly, I’m on a break from college right now. Journalism major-- not sure if it’s worth finishing, you know?”
Anna had confessed then for the very first time that she was, in fact, the legendary Hayden West-- or at least his successor-- expecting him to react with shock and, if she was being honest, a bit of awe, but instead Olaf had burst into laughter.
“Obviously,” he said, wiping at his eyes. “I saw the way you were looking around the place and heard the questions you were asking. Secret’s safe with me, though.”
She’d called her boss the same day asking to bring him on as a paid intern, and neither of them had looked back since. Olaf had a knack for finding disgruntled waitstaff in the Tri-State area complaining on Twitter and Reddit about their shitty bosses, then following up with them after Hayden’s reviews were published to make sure that they and their coworkers had a better place to work, either because their managers had seen the light or because they had moved on to greener pastures.
One of the tricks they’d developed together was sending in decoys if Anna was ever worried about getting caught. Olaf had a whole network of friends who were more than willing to show up to restaurants at a moment’s notice and eat a meal on the Tribune’s dime.
Today, though, she needed a certain pair of them to make sure this went smoothly.
Send the two improv kids, she texted back. They’ve got their work cut out for them-- this place is deserted. They have to act extra Hayden-y.
Olaf replied with only a thumbs-up emoji. Anna sighed and sat back in her seat, and a moment later Ryder appeared by her side. “Ready to order?” he asked, wearing another bright smile.
Extra attentive-- she’d add that to the sketch later. “Yeah,” she said, skimming the menu quickly again. Honestly, so far, this place hit every mark of a restaurant worth one of Hayden’s really positive reviews, which, thanks to the column’s usual reputation, went even more viral than the venomous ones-- not every day that a renowned cynic actually liked something.
There was just one more test, the one that elevated a good place to a great one, great enough that she’d come back to on her own time and money and bring her sister along for the ride.
“I’ll just have the spaghetti, please,” she said with her sunniest smile.
Ryder nodded and turned away, whistling to himself, and she glanced up at the clock over his head.
Five minutes and counting, she thought. Fingers crossed this goes the way I want.

When your business professor had first posted the list of partners for the big final project online, your heart had skipped a beat. Right there beside your name was a name you’d never expected to see: Lee Chaeyoung. Slowly, you had closed the tab, rubbing a hand over your face and letting out a worried groan. Why her?
Lee Chaeyoung had a reputation. It wasn’t like you didn’t like her, quite the opposite really. She was strikingly beautiful with a wide smile and a loud voice and the best hair you’d ever laid eyes on. But her eyes seemed to dig into your soul whenever you glanced at her in class, and you’d been intimidated by her ever since you saw her the first day of your freshman year. She was tall and tough and she told it like it was and didn’t seem to care what other people thought of her. Between her beauty and her tough exterior, it was hard for you to talk to her, much less to do an entire project with her. But you really had no choice: the professor had spoken.
Sighing, you had leaned back in your chair and closed your eyes. You could do this. You needed this A.
-
At first, things were awkward. You’d said maybe twenty words total to her over the time the two of you had gone to the same school, so when you sat down across from her in the library, neither of you really knew what to talk about. For a moment, you both just sat silently, before she cleared her throat and spoke up.
“I think we’ve had some classes together but I’ve never really talked to you. So I’m Chaeyoung.” She held out her hand and you resisted the urge to say that you knew as you shook her hand and gave her a nervous smile.
“I’m (Y/N). Nice to officially meet you.” Good. You didn’t sound like you were about to have a heart attack. She shifted in her chair and looked down at her notebook on the table, then back up at you, shoving her elbow onto the table and leaning her head on her hand. Her sigh made you jump.
“So what do you want to do this project on? I heard that Saerom and her partner are already making a coffee shop, so I’m out of ideas. This is my least favorite part of the semester. I hate this stuff.”
“Me too,” you said truthfully. The big projects always sucked. “Um, how about we try to think about what we’re interested in? Then we can see if we have anything and we can go from there.”
She raised her eyebrows and for a moment you were afraid she’d tell you that it was a dumb idea, but then she sat up and nodded. “That sounds like it’ll work.
Breathing a sigh of relief that you hoped was discreet, you gave her another smile. “Cool. Do you want to start then?
As it turned out, the two of you had a lot in common. Some of the awkwardness began to dissipate, despite your nervousness. Her smile seemed a lot less intimidating as she exclaimed that she was interested in one of your hobbies too, and the conversation began to flow more naturally. Chaeyoung was so loud that you were occasionally afraid of being kicked out and were glad the two of you weren’t in the quiet study area, but the two of you got along just fine.
By the time you left the library that day, the two of you had already decided to work on an after-school sports program, and you had a better understanding of Chaeyoung. She was still intimidating, but now the pounding of your heart at the sight of her smile was for a totally different reason.
-
It was strange to see and talk to Chaeyoung so much. Every time her name appeared on your phone screen, your heart jumped a bit, and now she even occasionally sat next to you in class, slumping down into her chair and greeting you with her loud voice and big smile. The most you saw her was outside of class, though. You had gotten used to library Chaeyoung: she was a bit quieter and a bit more focused on work. The library became the normal meeting spot, and that was good. Safe. Easy.
So, you weren’t expecting her to turn around in her chair after class and raise her eyebrows. “Since finals are making the library packed, want to study at your place?” It seemed like she read your mind as she added, “we can’t go to my place, my roommate is hosting a study group so it’ll be crowded.”
Your chest squeezed with nervousness as you bit your lip. You weren’t sure you were ready for this, but Chaeyoung was looking at you with raised eyebrows, expecting you to reply, so you swallowed and nodded your head. “Uh, sure.”
“Great!” She grinned. “I’ll meet you after your last class outside the library and we’ll go from there.” She then turned back around in her chair, leaving you to stare at her back as your mind raced. Chaeyoung was going to be in your house.
Your heart pounding, you took out your phone and sent a desperate text to your roommate, hoping that they got the hint to clean up a bit.
-
Chaeyoung was looking up at the now-cloudy sky as you walked up to the library. At the sound of your footsteps, she turned her head, and you caught a glimpse of fleeting worry before she put a smile on her face.
“You’re late, dude. What’s up with that?”
“Class ran long,” you said, glancing up at the clouds. “We should probably hurry. It looks like it’s going to rain soon.”
“No kidding.” The worry was back for a second as she shook her head. “I didn’t bring an umbrella today either.”
“I live close, if we start walking now we should be okay.”
“Okay.” She waited for you to start walking, then fell into step beside you. “I really hope it doesn’t storm.” She wrapped her arms around herself as she spoke, and you couldn’t help thinking that it was almost cute. You spared her another glance, surprised yet happy to see this side of her, and smiled.
“I don’t think it’ll be that bad.”
-
Unfortunately, you were wrong. Almost as soon as the two of you were settled down in your room with your notes out on the floor, rain started to pour from the sky. The consistent drum drew you to look out the window, just in time to see a flash of lightning in the sky.
“Whoa, it’s really bad out there. Where did this come from?” You turned around and saw Chaeyoung flinch at the sight of the lightning. Then, as thunder rumbled in the sky, its low growl shaking the building, she squeaked and pulled her hood up over her head, shivering.
For a moment, you stood amazed. The girl you’d been so intimidated by for so long was cowering away from the thunder on your floor. This was a side of her that you’d never seen before, and you couldn’t help but to stare until another roar of thunder made her whimper and you snapped to your senses.
“U-um, are you okay?”
She shivered and shook her head. “I-I’m afraid of thunder,” she admitted, her cheeks colored red as she stared at the floor. For a moment, you thought she looked cute like this. “This is super embarrassing, I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.” You didn’t really know what to do, so you sat down beside her. “Is there-?”
Another roll of thunder cut you off, and you watched as she curled back up into herself. A pang of sympathy went through your heart, even though you couldn’t help but find her a bit cute. Gone was the intimidating Chaeyoung you’d gotten so used to. Now, she seemed so much more approachable. Swallowing, you racked your mind for things to do, and your eyes landed on your laptop.
An idea struck you.
“Uh, we could try and watch a movie to distract you?”
She looked up, peeking out from under her hood. “R-really?”
“Yeah! We’ll turn the volume up so you can’t hear the thunder as loudly.”
She thought about it for a moment, then nodded, her cheeks flushed. “Sorry,” she murmured as you stood from your spot. “Now we aren’t going to get anything done for the project.”
“That can wait,” you assured her, and you found that you were telling the truth. You didn’t mind not working on the project. Your reassurance seemed to make her feel better and she stood up as well, following you over to the tiny little love seat your roommate had managed to fit in front of the TV. As she sat down beside you, another roll of thunder rumbled through the room and she grabbed onto your arm, holding you tight.
“Sorry,” she said again, pulling away once she realized what she’d done. Quickly, you shook your head.
“It’s okay, you can hold onto me if you want if it’ll make you feel safer.”
She blushed deeper but nodded, slowly moving closer to you and grabbing your arm again. “Thank you. I really appreciate it.”
“No problem. Now, what movie should we watch?”
The two of you ended up settling on a new cheesy romance movie from Netflix, and as you sat back into your seat, Chaeyoung leaned her head on your shoulder. Your heart skipped a beat and you glanced down at her for a moment, distracted from the opening scene.
She really did look cute like this. Had someone told you a month ago that you would be cuddling and watching a romantic movie with Chaeyoung, you would have laughed at them and scoffed at the idea. Now, you found that it wasn’t too bad. She smelled like rose perfume, and her skin was soft against yours. Her body vibrated as she let out a laugh at something on screen, and the sound made butterflies arrive in your stomach. Smiling a bit to yourself, you relaxed and let your body lean into hers as well.
As it turned out, cuddling with Chaeyoung was great. And you could totally get used to this.

The Family Business School: Chap. 1 - Acceptance Letter
Tumblr media
Summary: (Y/N) receives a letter that she has been accepted to The Family Business School. Meeting a few of the staff before school starts she gets a taste of how her days may be there as her past is brought up. Characters: Dean Winchester, Bobby Singer, Charlie Bradbury, Garth Fitzgerald IV, Reader Pairing: No pairing Warnings: Fluff/Slight Angst Word Count: 2361 A/N: I hope you all enjoy the letter and supply list pictures in this chapter. I designed them myself and think I did an okay job. As always this is unbeta so all mistakes are mine. Likes, comments and reblogs are splendid and I will love you doubly for them! Enjoy!
(Y/N) stared at her computer screen not believing she was accepted the exclusive school for hunters. She had applied on a whim thinking there was no way they would accept her. Everyone, who wanted to be a hunter knew her story and now she lived alone in a cabin for away from society. If she happened to hear of a case nearby she would anonymously submit a post on the Hunter Forum a social media page for Hunters. (Y/N) reread her letter and supply list one more time making sure it was really meant for her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She immediately replied back to the school’s general email confirming she would be there on October 11th. Most of the items she already had on the Supply List but a few clothing items she would need to get before going Lebanon, Kansas. She had read all kinds of stories about the Men of Letter’s Bunker that Professors Sam and Dean Winchester inherited from their grandfather being a part of the organization. She could just imagine what it will be like to live there for a few months while training to become a hunter. She closed her laptop and looked over to the picture of on her bookcase. The only picture she had of her parents was taken a little over a year ago. Now they were both dead and (Y/N) was alone.
“I promise, I will make you proud. I will not follow in the footsteps of my father.” She whispered getting up and heading into her bed room for the night.
The next several of months she worked as much as she could to put in her savings for when she would leave for Kansas. She was taking an extended leave of absence from her book editing job in order to go to school. She was assured that her position would still be there once she came back. A few days before she was set to leave, someone came knocking on her door. (Y/N) grabbed her shotgun and cautiously looked through the peep hole seeing a scrawny man standing on her porch.
“What do you want?” She called out through the door.
The man chuckled, “Bobby said you might be a little jumpy. I’m Garth Fitzgerald IV and Bobby Singer sent me to help you get whatever you may need for school.”
(Y/N) opened her door peeking around it as he smiled and waved at her. “Hi there, I promise I’m not here to hurt you. You can put the shotgun away.”
She opened the door wide enough for him to come in and set her gun back in its place by the door. “Why did the Head Hunter send someone to escort me to school?” She asked.
“Well, probably given your history there will be a little drama on your first day. As much as he comes off as a mean old grump he truly cares about every student coming and leaving the school.” Garth flopped onto her couch.
“Professor, would you like something to drink?” She asked as she walked into her small kitchen.
She heard him chuckle, “Some water would be great, thank you. By the way, I’m not a Professor at the school. I’m the Curator for the building and surrounding area. I also help out Bobby whenever he needs me.”
She handed him a bottle of water and sat down in her oversized chair, “Oh. Okay then.” She wanted to ask more about the school, the professors and the classes. She thought it was best she kept her mouth shut and found out for herself in a few days.
“Are there any items you still need to get?” he asked as his phone started buzzing, “Sorry, give me just one second.”
He got up walking to the other side of her cabin answering his phone, “Hey Dean. What’s going on?”
The mention of Dean Winchester’s name made her heart race. Anyone who knew about the supernatural knew Sam and Dean Winchester. They were legendary hunters having saved the world time and time again. Like a lot of female hunters, (Y/N) found Dean incredibly attractive. He was known for being a love ‘em and leave ‘em but any woman who had been with him said the one night was worth it. Garth’s raspy voice brought her out of her thoughts.
“Yes, I’m at (Y/N)’s now.” He paused for a moment listening. “Okay. Will do Dean.” He hung up the phone turning around to face her. “You should go ahead and pack so we can hit the road.”
(Y/N) got up nodding silently as she went into her room and grabbed the bags she had packed weeks ago. Garth laughed as he opened the door and took one her bags from her.
Shopping with Garth was a lot of fun. (Y/N) had almost forgot what it was like to hang out with a friend. She picked out a couple of pant suits and a comfortable pair of knee high boots. Then Garth took her to an army supply shop for a few of the other clothing items she needed. Their last stop was to a bookstore so she could pick up ‘The Big Book of Urban Legends’ and a journal. Garth had a handful of comics when he found her looking through the journals.
“Can’t decide?” he asked as he flipped open one of his comics.
(Y/N) shook her head looking at all of them. Some were snap closures, no closures, leather, hardback, but none of them stood out to her. Then she saw it. Olive green softbound leather and tie closure called her. She picked it up running her fingers over it and knowing that journal was meant to be hers.
Garth clicked his tongue, “I would get a brown or black one. That way it never draws attention if someone should see it who’s not supposed to.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right, but I never completely play by the rules. This journal is meant to be mine.” She said smiling up at him.
He laughed clapping a hand down on her back, “I like your spunk. Though you know Dean will give you all kinds of trouble for that bright green journal.”
She shrugged, “Let him, I’ve been given trouble by far worse people.” Garth nodded as he grabbed the journal and book out of her hands.
“This is on me. A welcome to our school present.” He said as they walked up to the counter to pay.
Once on the road, Garth started blaring ridiculous 80’s R&B and rap music singing to the top of his lungs. She slipped her earbuds in and her favorite playlist soothed her onslaught of nerves flipping her insides around. The next thing she knew Garth was shaking her awake.
“(Y/N), welcome to The Family Business School of Saving People and Hunting Things.” He said proudly as he pulled into an underground garage.
As he parked his car she immediately saw the famous 1967 Chevy Impala. Her mouth slacked opened slightly seeing just how beautiful it was in person. Garth helped carry her bags through corridors that lead into a large library. “Ho-ly crap.” She whispered.
Garth chuckled, “I know it’s pretty amazing in here. Now you wait here while I go see what room Charlie has assigned you.” He walked off down another corridor.
(Y/N) started looking at the books in the library seeing some titles she had never heard before. She was so focused on the books in front of her that she did not hear the footsteps approaching her. She felt the end of a gun pressed against her back and her head shot up.
“Who are you and what are you doing here?” said a deep husky voice.
Her first instinct was to disarm him like she had seen online but opted for talking. “I’m a new student here. My name is (Y/N) and Garth just brought me here.”
She felt the gun lower off her back and she turned around slowly. Looking up she was met with the incredibly olive eyes of Dean Winchester who was pursing his lips together in disapproval. Garth and a bouncy red-head with a funny t-shirt on coming running up.
“Whoa, Dean! She’s a student.” Garth called out as Dean turned his attention to him.
“What is she doing here early? She almost got herself shot.” He said placing his gun at the small of his back.
“Dean, I told Garth to go get her. Now, could you refrain from shooting her until this new class of cadets starts.” They all turned to see Bobby Singer standing there.
Dean sighed, “Sorry Bobby, but she was just standing there alone. I thought someone had broken in.”
“That’s my fault since Garth had to come get me. Also,” Charlies stopped and hit Dean in the shoulder, “how dare you doubt my security system.”
Dean rubbed his arm as Bobby approached (Y/N), “I’m Bobby Singer and I’m in charge of all these idjits. It is nice to finally meet you, (Y/N) (Y/L/N).”
She shook his hand as Dean’s head snapped up, “Wait, you’re...” she nodded as he looked up to Bobby with a confused look. “I thought we decided not –”
Bobby held up his hand to Dean, “We can discuss this later. For now, Charlie please show (Y/N) to her room so she can get settled in. You will have a roommate once the other cadets arrive. Welcome to our school.” Bobby smiled warmly at her and then motioned for Dean to follow him.
Charlie hooked her arm with (Y/N)’s smiling brightly, “Well come on, let me give you the tour.” She said.
Garth and Charlie both showed her around the Men of Letters Bunker. She made notes in her small notebook of where the kitchen, bathroom/shower rooms and the stairs leading to the garage. Just down the hall from the kitchen Charlie opened door 24 and revealed a bedroom with two twin size beds, two desks and two small dressers.
“Here is your room. Take your time settling in and one of us will come get you when dinner is ready. No matter what grumpy Dean says please feel free to roam around. Do you have your laptop or tablet?” Charlie asked as Garth set her bags down on one of the beds.
(Y/N) nodded handing her both, “Oh, nice choices. I love my Surface Pro. I’m just going to put some software on these and get them back to you asap.” Charlie turned to leave and immediately turned back around. “Oh, and here, this is your new cellphone. See you later.”
(Y/N) setup her new iPhone and downloaded a few apps to get started with. She turned on her Spotify playlist and began unpacking her things. She was almost done, when she heard voices just down the hall from her room.
“Bobby, how do we know she won’t go evil on us?” she heard Dean said his voice full of concern.
Bobby grunted, “For the last time Dean, I decided to take a chance on her. Jack has turned out to be one of the best hunters we have. I think (Y/N) will follow in his footsteps.”
Dean sighed heavily, “Jack had Kelly and Castiel to guide him before he was born. Then he had Sam and eventually me after a while. Has this check had any support what-so-ever? No, she hasn’t. What she has is a murky past with Lucifer. Which brings up another point, don’t you think she is going to have trouble being around the guy who killed her father?”
(Y/N) had heard enough and walked out into the hallway, “If I did have a problem with you then you wouldn’t have kept that pretty gun of yours when you had it against my back. You know nothing about me or my life after Lucifer. All you know is some hunters’ tales that have been blown out of proportion over the years driving me into seclusion. Before you judge and make assumptions about me why don’t get check your facts! I hear your brother Sam is the best Lore and Research teacher in the country why don’t you sit in on his class and take a few pointers.”
Bobby was smiling from ear to ear as Dean looked at her dumbfounded. She turned to go back into her room and as she was shutting her door she heard Bobby said to Dean, “I like her. I think she will fit in here just fine.”
(Y/N) spent the next couple of days avoiding Dean at all possible cost and staying in her room. Garth and Charlie would stop by to check in on her. Charlie would come by to binge watch superhero shows with her and Garth had brought her a few lore books from his personal collection for her to read. She found out that Sam Winchester no longer lived in the Bunker but just a few miles away with his wife, Eileen, who was a bit legendary herself as a hunter. She had hoped to meet him before him before school since she admired him a lot. Lore and research was (Y/N)’s niche and the whole reason she wanted to come to The Family Business School was to learn everything she could in order to write lore books to help Hunters all over the country.
The morning the other students were arriving Charlie had come to get her so she could be outside when they all arrived. Her stomach tightened at the thought of being around so many people. She kept reminding herself that this was her chance to show people she was not her father. She was nothing like Lucifer. Garth pulled up in to the front entrance of the Bunker in a small bus with ten people on it. (Y/N) watched as the all filed out of the bus and stood in front of all the experienced hunters who would be teaching them.
Dean stepped forward to speak, but before he could a man slightly older than (Y/N) pointed to her, “What the hell is the daughter of the devil doing here?”
So, originally I was going to make this into a one shot but as I was writing this first part I realized there is just too much greatness for a one shot. I decided to make it a four part series. I hope you all enjoyed the first part :)

May 3 Blurr’s Horror Stream - Bottom of the World
Nobody liked the main female character. Consequently, the ending was rather satisfying. Albeit baffling. It took everyone until the end of the movie to figure out what was going on and most of them still aren’t sure.
Welcome to the 'speedxstealer' room. Today in crypto that queen is maintaining good price momentum as billions of dollars in stable coin sit ready to buy up the market the USA discusses yet another round of stimulus this time for a casual half trillion dollars more D. five owner abilities over the weekend have resulted in millions of dollars in crypto being stolen so I wanna make sure you know how to keep yourself safe the crypto lark this reason scrap all of the hottest of the latest happening out there in the wild wild land of crypto by the way if you are new to crypto currency and you still need help figuring out all of the basics like how to buy bitcoin how to send bitcoin has store bit coin and how to successfully investing crypto currencies in general then check out my course is called crypto currency explained this course walk you through all of those topics and more with step by step tutorials in critical resources everything you need to get started in one place that I haven’t spent a lot of time running around the internet trying to piece everything together there’s a link in the description where you can learn more so a quick peek at the charts here to get started off with today it is very nice to see bitcoin on the daily maintaining above the fifty day moving average it’s a very nice spot for bitcoin holdings here will really continue to reinforce that bullish narrative that is starting to be created in the market right now a drop below that line around the sixty nine hundred dollar mark there could set us up for a bit of a loss of faith in that bullish narrative and let the bears back out looking at the exponential moving averages the price is currently struggling with the fifty day EMA so let’s see if bitcoin can actually make a definitive close above this line on the daily before we really start that journey upwards across over the one hundred day EM. Hey around seventy five hundred and then of course the two hundred day E. M. A. at around eight thousand dollars which is also where the two hundred day standard moving averages if we can get across these lines and really just close a definitive couple of candles above those two hundred day moving averages and I would say that we are back in business and it will be on to bowl season once again until then though I do appreciate the Kerr momentum but take it all with a grain of salt nice though to see bitcoin maintaining a solid uptrend on the daily currently as well and of course the weekly just closed for bitcoin giving us our fifth green candle in a row which is definitely nice to see the general momentum in the market has definitely been encouraging it is really I think getting people excited about that bullish narrative again but do remain aware of the wider risks to the global economy right now and that the crisis is far from over so still a wild cards can be pulled out here but a bit of hope you could come in the form of stablecoin accumulation on exchanges right now cryptocurrency exchanges are holding over three billion dollars in stable coins on behalf of their customers showing that traders and investors are essentially sitting with just loads of cash ready to be deployed into the markets yeah sure a percentage of this is just the traders moving in and out of the markets but a good amount of that will be those who are waiting to either bite in up coming dip or perhaps waiting for further confirmation that the bulls are indeed back in charge of the markets before and during their long term plays three billion dollars that’s a lot of chatter man a lot of chatter and when that money starts moving back into bitcoin it could have a very dramatic effect on the price pushing the market’s very high very fast but. When it comes to having lots and lots of chatter no one does it quite like America they remember on Friday in our office so how is saying that the small business stimulus loan program was already out of its three hundred and fifty billion dollar budget yeah well. Over the weekend the U. S. administration they have been discussing putting up another four hundred and fifty billion dollars in stimulus to fight the current crisis now the program would consist of three hundred billion dollars to the paycheck protection program is sixty billion dollars to separate emergency loan program for small businesses, of course, it is worth remembering that the previous three hundred and fifty billion dollars for small businesses ran out in just three weeks so how long will this current truncheon of money take to disappear not long that’s how it’ll be gone it really really fast this proposal also includes one hundred billion dollars for hospitals and for testing for the virus so. Is this money needed for these purposes I have no doubt that it is and obviously you know these people should be helped these businesses should be helped hospital should help all that I’m not disagreeing with the idea of spending all this money the question now is where is that money coming from was the long term impact of that you see this is another half trillion dollars in just one week and one week that money does not come from a magical savings account or from selling gold from Fort Knox or something like that no no no no no just type in it into the computer that’s that magic money just appears that’s how they do it that’s how they do it it’s crazy massive inflation could be coming for the dollar and well bit coin may not have done very well in the short term of this liquidity crisis that sparked back in March long term we will see bit queen shining as the inflation crisis starts the heat up there is no way that all this data in money supply expansion is going to happen without hurting the dollar in the long term. Now on to the main theme of today’s video keeping your crypto safe the first is about storage risks for your bitcoin so a longtime community member with actually robbed the other day he shared a story it’s terrible what happened to him while he was away from home someone climbed on whose balcony came in through his door stole his laptop in a still a framed piece of art on his wall that contained his one and only bitcoin paper wallet. All the bitcoin that has been diligently stacking for three years and there was no copy I just it’s a devastating story I’m just so sorry here’s happens god in such a big community supporter for the last few years he just a good dude and it’s just a tough situation but I really want to take just a minute to tell the story because it’s just such an important reminder to take your security of your crypto just incredibly seriously always remember the best practices when it comes to store your bitcoin paper wallet for example on the one hand they are quite safe on the other hand there just paper and that paper get wet or eaten by dog or stolen so you know it’s not a perfect solution of course entering that private he later on to retrieve your bitcoin also be tricky hardware wallets they remain the most effective in the safest way for the average user to safely store their crypto if you do not yet have a hardware wallet then please consider getting one is the safest way for the average user tips successfully store their crypto whether you choose a paper or a software or a hardware wallet always maintain the best practices right down in keep at least two copies of your keys or your passphrase and always do this using pen and paper laminated if you can of course rent water damage as well and then take those copies and put them in different places very simple stuff here are very important make sure you put it somewhere completely just not obvious and something in which a thief would never consider taking like Jane Austen book or something like that never store your keys online either you have a high risk of losing your crypto if you do your crypto can be gone in an instant if you don’t properly secure it if you do need a hardware wallet then ledger currently has an. Awesome sale going on we can actually get a family pack or a backup packs you can get yourself a whole big pile ledgers not me personally I always have multiple devices on hand collection Animax ledger nano S. and dental X. in the box this is just in case I lose water in case one of these devices get stolen and I can just take my passphrase set it up on the new device and I’m back in business a past Fraser had an incredibly secure and hard to find places so I feel quite comfortable about my back up for my security and of course either someone actually does steal your ledger wallet it just resets after three failed log in attempts so it’s very very secure the device is a very good place to keep your crypto there’s a link down below we can get yourself a ledger and also include a video tutorial for the ledger which will actually answer many of the common questions that people seem to have about using one of these devices please please please take your security seriously all of your years of stacking stats can be invalidated in a minute of crime so please take it seriously and finally the big story of today is that over the weekend a number of major decentralized finance exploits have happened to someone took advantage of the known exploit in the E. Just like that if there is a back door the hackers will find it there is no stopping and it’s their full-time job this is what they do but this for me just underlines that. It’s important to understand the risks remain in the decentralized finance space which is why for most people lending with someone like block fight for getting involved in lending is a much better option than landing on a lot of these decentralized markets however if you are going to be using a decentralized finance product then there are some things to keep in mind that you can use to keep yourself safe first off only use trusted and well established providers I’m talking the likes of kybernetwork and synthetics and compound finance their teams that have proven that they have what it takes to stay ahead of the curve to find vulnerabilities before the bad guys do into fix that maybe really really proactive about their code bases of course never risk more than you can afford to lose on the fight either we are still in the early experimental stages of this technology mistakes will happen money will be lost also use insurance on your defy plays if you can’t companies like nexus mutual actually offer you the chance to ensure your funds against smart contract failure but they do not insure all companies so be very wary of new players like land after dot M. E. that are entering the market many of these guys they’re gonna be fly by night types of operations just riding the defy hype wave. More money will be lost in the fi you can count on it that being said I remain incredibly optimistic about the future of decentralized finance early adopters of this technology they’re taking risks that the rest of us can sleep easy in the future but if you are not up for the risks of decentralized finance or you do not understand the risks thing keep your bitcoin or your theory I’m just locked up on your ledger or if you do want to get into the lending market use a service like block fi they’re highly regulated highly compliant a lot saved a lot of these defy platforms but long term this technology layer which we see being built on open public networks like Ethereum will be fundamental in challenging the existing financial order and then massively disrupting it so I remain very bullish on the future of the fight your question for today what are you doing to keep your cryptocurrency secure in are you using any defy applications and if so do you fully understand the risks that you are taking would love to know down below in the comments section what you are doing to keep your crypto safe thank you so much watching today’s video massively appreciate as always the time to take a few days over here and watch this did talk about crypto currencies on the internet seriously none of this is possible values thank you so much and enjoy today’s video hit that thumbs up button make sure to subscribe to the channel if you are new around here long live the blockchain. WARNING! Major Crypto Defi Hack, Are You Safe? Bitcoin Price Holding Strong
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
R. C. seven seven token standard to steal three hundred thousand dollars in Ethereum and wrapped a bit coin from a unique swap tokom pool there’s also been a critical vulnerability which has been found by the curve team in the synthetics S. U. S. D. contract now the vulnerability was found before anything bad happened all the funds are safe there has been no lost the vulnerability is currently being fixed actually the team has done really well here to act proactively to prevent any exploits of that vulnerability from happening this is why using H.. Rusted professional decentralized finance application like synthetics is so important in the first place because you have people working actively on the development of that product which you can trust but the big one of the weekend has to be this one lending protocols land F. dot and he was happy for twenty-five million dollars in crypto. The hacker drain basically all of the funds on the platform so this graph here you can see so eloquently illustrates how quickly the crypto disappeared from this platform and the hackers in a very savage follow up even sent a few thousand dollars worth of taxes tokens back to the team with a little note attached on the blockchain better future burn man that hurts yes split was again a known attack vector that took advantage of the known smart contract vulnerability now lend F. dot M. eat came under a lot of criticism actually hasn’t actually deployed and then apparently bastardized compound finances copyrighted code without consent and more critically it is apparent that the codes thieves not only lack the knowledge to develop their own smart contracts but they also lack the knowledge to properly maintain the smart contracts in to know how to audit for security vulnerabilities twenty five million Bucks in crypto gone. Just like that if there is a back door the hackers will find it there is no stopping and it’s their full-time job this is what they do but this for me just underlines that. This London Chef Is Doing Spectacular Things With Pastry
Calum's pate en croute. Calum Franklin has become an Instagram star for his pastry skills, posting photos of stunning creations from the kitchen of Holborn Dining Room, where he's head chef. His pâté en croûte nearly broke the internet with its intricate patterns and two-coloured pastry. We went for a peek behind the scenes, to find out how he makes it.    "I've never actually trained in pastry," Calum explains, "I never wanted to be a pastry chef and a few years ago I thought it was a gap in my knowledge, so in my free time I started teaching myself a lot of stuff, and I found out it's something that I'm quite obsessive about. "I'm obsessed with patterns and that's why I find it interesting. It's also very relaxing, especially in a mad place like this to be able to do these kinds of crafty things, it's really nice." Beef Wellingtons. Calum explains how the pastry has really caught the attention of people online, "people are obsessed with pastry! Look at the Great British Bake Off, and you walk past Bread Ahead in Borough Market and there's just like, 100 people looking through the window, at some fat Polish guys, making sourdough. "I had five weeks off work recently because I had some surgery and sourdough was another gap in my knowledge, so I was like right, in this five weeks I'm going to nail some things down. I did it in quite an obsessive way, like I had 20 different starters from different people and different recipes and then did it methodically. I think the further you progress in your career as a chef the more you do that as well; you become more obsessive about small details as you go on." A recent batch of pork pies. We talk about his famous pâté en croûte — basically meat enclosed in pastry with a very savoury jelly on top — and we ask if he's considered entering it into Championnat du monde de Pâté Croûte, a competition in France. He has: "We're in the process now of trying to get in, for next year. There's never been a British person in the competition. "The French still have a view of British food and it's going to be very difficult to change that. Regardless of the fact that I think London is miles ahead of Paris on the restaurant scene but it's just ingrained in French people that British people can't cook." "I might have to change my name to something French. I think it's really funny the idea of a British guy entering the competition, trying to take them on, and I will do something ridiculously British. "We've already been thinking about what we'd do but that's all top secret… There's also some exciting things happening here next year, that we're developing. We're going to be pushing things forward a bit, creating more things like the grouse pithivier, the pâté en croûte, these old classical arts that have been lost in London. Calum crimps the pastry. "I think it's important for us in here to teach the young kids how to do it. Because it's cool! As a chef, the first time you cut something like that it's hugely satisfying. The first time we got the pithivier right — because it took a few times to get it perfectly pink — I remember looking at the other chefs and we were all grinning." High tech pen lid technique. We talk about his other pastry creations, "The pork pies I did for somebody else, as a favour, but they actually came out alright so we'll probably do those in the deli. It's hard to hand raise a pie. People who make pork pies have generally been doing it for a long time, that's what I realised. Beef wellington goes back to when I was at Roast in Borough Market, we did a good one there and when we opened here, after like, a year and we'd settled the kitchen I said 'right, it's about time we put a wellington on; I want us to try and do the best one in London but I also want to put it at a price where it's accessible to people.' The pastry is decorated. "It's one of the greatest achievements of British cooking, and I want people to come to London, to visit and to be able to eat something like that and go away with a good image of what we do. So that's why we make it accessible here — it's £26 with roast potatoes. That's still expensive but for what you get — I will lose money every time we sell it but it's worth it. "It takes three days from start to finish, we cut the duxelles by hand so when you're doing it on a big scale, for 200-300 guests, that’s a lot of chopping. On a Sunday, all you hear in the kitchen is the sound of all the chefs chopping mushrooms." Foil tubes stop the fat from bubbling over and burning on top of the pastry. It's mesmerising to watch Franklin making the pâté en croûte, calmly and methodically shaping as the kitchen buzzes around him. "The black pastry is coloured with cuttlefish ink, and I cut the shapes and lay them in the side of the tin, then when the other pastry is laid on top and filled, the black pastry gets pushed into the side, creating the pattern. As it cooks it melds together as one." Calum with the finished pastry. "Then we’ve got some pancetta, then inside that is the farce, which is bronze turkey from Wales, smoked bacon then down the middle — originally we were doing foie gras and then I was like, it's not really a British thing. So then I thought let's do sage and onion stuffing. The stuffing is like a boudin, almost like a mousse which is made with turkey breast, egg white, double cream, sage and onion. It’s formed into a sausage shape in cling film, then poached."   We watch him add the lid, carefully crimping the edges with his fingers before going around again, tidying it up to make it perfect. Franklin then makes holes using… a pen lid. He laughs, "Yeah people think I’ve got all these special tools but actually it's just this pen lid. "I’m quite ghetto with the techniques sometimes, so I use on pen for the holes, and another for the pattern on top. It's the Holborn Dining Room pen that we give to the guests. Cross section. "It was a relief working out how to do it," he tells me, of part of the design. I asked French chefs how to do it, and no one would tell me. They’re really secretive about it and eventually this one guy, who lives in Montreal in Canada said 'OK I'll tell you, but you're not allowed to tell anyone. So obviously I've told loads of people!" he laughs, "knowledge is for sharing."
