Don't kill me for this but methinks maybe some people on tumblr do not know what a toxic relationship is both in fiction and irl. like I'm seeing people calling their ships "toxic yuri" or whatever because their relationship is tumultuous and has ups and downs or because the people involved got into a fight and hurt each other's feelings a couple times like....my liege that is just a normal relationship. In literally any kind of interpersonal relationship it is inevitable that you are going to hurt people sometimes and you're going to be hurt. You're going to disagree with people. You're going to do things wrong. That doesn't mean you're toxic or that your relationships are unsalvageable. That's just how people work. Like I'm starting to genuinely worry that people r gonna carry this attitude into their real lives and fuck themselves over because they think that their real relationships with other people aren't supposed to have any conflict or discomfort whatsoever and I feel like it ties into this weird hyper-individualism thing that tumblr has going on where people are not supposed to rely on each other or try to grow and have compassion for other people or it's "emotional labour"....babes relationships are supposed to take work. We work on ourselves for other people because we care about them. Take my hand it's okay you can do it

the classic body builder physique jiménez gives dick is SO funny to me because it makes him look so female love interest coded, complete with unreasonable hour glass figure and booty-out poses
like ok i'm gonna start with a comparison between how he draws dick vs how he draws selina
there's that same!! exaggerated curve at the waist
the rest under the cut bc this is gonna be long—i'm pulling mostly from batman (2016) #137-138 (i've been keeping up with gotham war lmao)
he gives them the same sort of broad shoulders that taper down into a tiny waist
FURTHER, this is technically where dick's pecs are in comparison to selina's curves:
HOWEVER something about the way jiménez draws dick's lats also creates a curve lower down his torso that mimics the shape of selina's tits:
this exaggerated tiny waist is even more striking in comparison to how he draws other male characters
like don't get me wrong, he definitely favors a broad shoulder to slimmer waist sort of build, but never to the extent he goes with dick
take bruce and tim from the same chapters:
their shoulder to waist to hip ration is a lot more equal, they've got much more of an rectangular build, the curve in at the waist/hips is gentle
and i swear jiménez chooses poses to exaggerate dick's tiny waist (not quite booty-out poses but the same sort of vibe)

Tomorrow is my birthday, so allow me to treat you guys to my little tradition that I keep for any holiday that includes giving me a present.
Every time my birthday or Christmas rolls around, for the past few years, the only thing I always ask my family for is a rock. Just any old rock. Literally any rock outside.
At first I did receive rocks from my family, and I was very happy.
Now, for some reason, my family has given up on getting me rocks. I like rocks, what’s so wrong about that?
So tomorrow, March 12th, if you want, can you fellas send me pictures of rocks? Doesn’t have to be a special one, it can just be a rock you walked outside and happened to find! It’ll make me very happy!

Headcanon (cause I’m in my bird behaviour brain rot era):
Angels, like birds, enjoy communal roosting and Adam can’t get any sleep in Hell since he’s used to sleeping with a bunch of other people- so Lucifer needs to accommodate Adam until he acclimates and can leave (or, y’know, just… doesn’t)
ohh my god, okay. yep. headcanon immediately accepted. ur brain is big and beautiful and wrinkly.
maybe lucifer first offers out of a feeling of obligation, one that’s close to respect but not quite. i mean, despite what they’ve gone through, adam is the first man, one of the first creations. he’s one of the first creators. damned or not, asshole or not, lucifer doesn’t actually want adam to suffer for all of eternity. he doesn’t want anyone in hell to be doomed to that fate, but especially adam. once upon a time he loved adam just the same as he loved the rest of the early world.
so, he offers. and adam is more taken back by that then anything lucifer’s ever done. accuses him of taking pity on him, him. adam. he’s insulted, and ignores the request for several days thereafter. one thing about adam is that he’s got a lot of pride, but pride only gets you so far. and in this case, it only gets him another week of terrible sleep.
but eventually, that sleep deprivation wins and lucifer wakes up to the sound of flapping wings in the middle of the night, only to see adam, curling up in a nearby armchair because- damn that pride of his- he’d still rather be uncomfortable than accept lucifer’s pity. the only fucking reason he’s here now is because he really, really, really needs some kind of sleep. he might go insane otherwise.
and even though he’s damn near folded in half, curled in on himself, feathers poking him where they can’t normally reach, it’s still the best he’s slept in weeks.
