it’s nothing much but here we go…

the title for this chapter is called “Queen it over.” i mean yeah no shit, look at her, the most badass looking girlboss senju in this chapter!

senju just declared a war against the two other deities on 14th july. now if the vision takemichi foreseen in ch216 will happen before the date arrives, it’s not possible the war will be ignited instantly.

while i am hoping it won’t happen as quickly as how in the previous chapter when takemichi foreseen a blood on his shirt, there’s no guarantee either way that she would be safe later on. idk who the hell is targeting her and the fact we didn’t know how she got injured/killed in the vision makes me curious of the person behind the incident. i would say there could be “someone” who is pulling the strings to all of these mess in which takemichi has to solve and get rid of them.

and…. idk if this is truly a date or nah but the tanabata festival is still ongoing in here so,,

bonus: takemichi putting on brahman jacket with two men watching him with a different kind of look. <i still believe that takeomi is SUS>

some pointed out that senju doesn’t like doing the illegal stuffs but she has no choice considering she is leading a yakuza gang so something like that is unfortunately inevitable. they also own a fight club as well, called it B1.

- At this point, I don't know what to feel anymore. Plus, just me theorising stuff, and fangirling over Senju LMAO

Okay, the chapter started at this. Sorry, but that damn sitting position fits Senju so well. I love the vibe and bad ass energy she gives off here.

Anyway, they were negotiating with a businessman and she has her brother, Akashi to accompany her.

This panel actually made me skeptical of Akashi for a bit. Remember in the future when Akashi and Sanzu were both part of Bonten but Senju was already dead that time, right? Somehow, it made me wonder if they turned their backs on Senju because Mikey was the "better" leader. And that's how they became executives of Bonten in the future.

But then again, it's just a theory of mine.

Oh and Brahman has sort of like their fight club too. Maybe this is why they're all strong and compared on the levels of a "Yakuza" group.

Plus, they're into some illegal stuff here.

Also, it looks like where about to see the battle of the big three. Honestly, I can sense that a lot of people are going to die here on the final arc. (But then again, just a thought)

Oh and the last panel ended here! It looks like we're about to see them eating choco mint ice cream again but she'll probably have a deeper conversation with our boy, Takemichi 🤧

I finally finished reading all 218 chapters of Tokyo Revengers. Somebody, discuss it with me 😭😭

TOKYO REVENGERS post ya’ll

Okaaaaay so here we are again with another WFM manga/anime feelz post huraaaay lolz ‘cause I have just read ch. 218 (which is the most recent chapter) of the Tokyo Manji-Kai story waaaaaaaaah

So here’s another superstar of this era I suppose. And I must admit, I have been wrong before ‘cause this one is really good. Honestly, at first when it was released by around 2018 (or 2017... if I remembered correctly), I wasn’t a quick fan. I’ve read the first chapters and like meh time travel okaaay, plus not a much fan of the art. So I was just casually reading it and I think I stopped by around 20 or 30 chapters or so before putting it aside my reading list. I’m a huge Gokusen fan so I was really into “delinquent” stuff and their beliefs in life that is honorable, friendship goals (aside with the criminal related stuff eww). Yes!  

Recently it became a really huge hit plus it now has an anime adaptation so it really is hyping and then I decided to read it again, watch the anime, and man I got hooked and came back to following it again.

Okay... and so the story is about a former delinquent Takamichi Hanagaki, on his daily “loser” life, so tired and bored of his life, recently knowing thru the television news that his ex-girlfriend in middle school (only girlfriend he had by the way) died in an accident (or rather assault created) by a gang Tokyo Manji Kai - which rang a bell and reminded him of his past delinquency days. Many things happened and his realizations flushing in of how he wanted to changed his past life of always running away and hoping he’ll get to meet his deceased ex-gf once again kept him thinking if only he could go back in time... AND HE DID! (I’ll leave the ‘how’ for you to find out once you read it he he)

So no more story telling here ‘cause spoilers alert plus really I’m not that a good story teller I just want to share my feels to you. So yeah, many things happened and he met a lot of people in the Tokyo Manji Gang, befriends the top executives and even the head captain. Multiverses aside a lot of rewinds and alternate futures happening and going until he reached the future where everything is good... or is it? wahahaha The serialization is still ongoing - we are yet to know mehehehe how this will end... will he be able to see his friends again - Mikey (the top cutie), Draken (the best right hand), Chifuyu (awww best boi, his aibō), Mitsuya (another best boi), Hakkai (biggest baby wahaha), Peh and Pah (best of buds), Happy and Angry (wahaha best twins), Akkun and the gang.... and reunite with the love of his life Hina (love her! really putting sense into Takamichi all the time wahahaha that best slap award tho hahaha poor Mikey)

the way i’m so freaking excited for next week’s new tokrev chapter 😆 maybe i should create a revision post for ch217 before that.

weekly shonen magazine is having a break this week btw and will resume next week. that includes tokyo revengers as well.

btw i got something to say:

i have like- a few TR characters that i found suspicious, especially takeomi. i have set my attention on him since the first time he showed up. honestly i know everyone assumed him as a good guy but i couldn’t help but find a couple of odd things about him. however, they’re more likely a thought rather than theories cuz i think making theories would take up a lot of energy and i don’t have that most of time.

also, i remembered saying brahman was a better choice to join in a gang than rokuhara tandai if ever takemichi decided to, and he did choose brahman; that’s because i feel like they’re a gang that most likely don’t resort with violence, which they are. unfortunately i have to lower my expectations on them because of this one panel :

i tweeted whether anyone had an uneasy feelings toward takeomi because funny how i didn’t see people talking about him then two of my mutuals replied to me confessing the same thoughts. i am now curious with his true motives, other than stopping mikey.

i read the rumours for ch218 and one of them is about brahman. it seems like there’s something going to happen at tanabata, where brahman will be having their gatherings. they said that anything could be happening, just like the 3/8 incident (moebius arc). kinda had the thought of that before this ; when senju died or injured severely in the midst of rainy day, it reminds me of draken who got stabbed under the same circumstance. in the original timeline he was supposed to die but he didn’t because of takemichi. if this rumour end up being true then let’s prepare ourselves. senju’s chance of survival is now depends on takemichi, whether it’ll be at tanabata or other places.

another one is that there will be either takemichi’s perspective or someone else’s which could be any characters in the next chapter.

btw, rumours are rumours so expect low and lower your hopes.

omg hi it's me, 🍵 anon again!! sorry i keep dipping in and out. update on my crush - my friend got the teacher to change the seating arrangement, so we sit diagonal from each other yet interact much more. today i wore a casual mikasa from snk cosplay and he complimented me ^_^

... more importantly though, at one point him and i were talking about manga, and he told me he was reading tokyo revengers. look, i had tried a couple episodes of the anime before and couldn't get into it. but i still had the manga on my list because sometimes mangas are easier for me to get into. so i'm not saying i got into tokrev because of a boy, but i got into tokrev because of a boy. i put it on my list in the first place actually because i think i remember you talking about it and the premise intrigued me!! i really like it this time around, i'm on chapter 218 QwQ how've you been??

oooo yeah, i could NOT deal with the anime at first LOL i was so frustrated with takemicchi i s2g, but the manga was so much better at dragging me into the fandom LOL chapter 218…. almost caught up </3 glad that the boy has an influence on u, broadens ur view of things ig, like making u read tokrev LMAO

TOKYO REVENGERS CHAPTER 219 Discussion and Thoughts

- The recent chapter got me worried about what's to come :(

Basically, the two had a date at an amusement park. A continuation of where Chapter 218 ended. Senju also warned Takemichi about the war that's about to come. However...

Our girl opened up to Takemichi about how Takeomi has "changed". She talked about how his brother had diverted their goals.

See, I was already sus of him before and now, that suspicion grows bigger. I do have a feeling that Takeomi and Sanzu are sort of into this because remember in the future? Sanzu was basically Bonten's number two and Takeomi is their Advisor. Positions that's enough to control Bonten and Mikey, right? Anyway that's just a thought of mine. But man, Takeomi's really mysterious here.

The fact that these two made a promise to protect each other makes me really happy. They're like brothers and sisters <3

The amount of death flags in this chapter makes me anxious though :(

Now, Inupi made an appearance and warned Draken about Rokuhara Tandai about to attack Takemichi. Hi Inupi, we missed you

So when Takemichi and Senju shaked hands, our boy once again saw that future. I don't know how, but Rokuhara Tandai seems to plan to attack Senju off guard right there in the carnival.

Looks like were about to see some actions on the incoming Chapters. Although I'm really worried for what's about to come :((
