quick comic of Pieces of Home's Donnie and Leo's dynamic 💖 this happens way later into the story, when they're already comfortable going out in missions, saving the world, and have matured a little bit more. but donnie is still terrified of losing leo the same way he almost did when they were little.

he hasn't thought about the fact that his family is scared of losing him too 💔

*bunso is a Filipino term of endearment meaning "youngest sibling" •

TMNT: Pieces of Home is my own iteration of TMNT. Donnie and Raph are twins (Donnie being the older twin), Mikey is the shy middle kid, and Leo is the youngest. They were all a normal human family for about 5 years until one night, a man attacked them and cursed them to be mutated into turtles, and their father a rat. Their other father was thought to be dead after that night and they started to live in the sewers to hide from whatever danger awaited them.

The turtles are also half Filipino and half Japanese.

Do you guys have any character (this is more related to TMNT) that instead of feeling good by seeing yourself in them, you feel the opposite?

I’m a twin (and we were also color coded! I’m the red / warm colors twin, and my sister is the blue / cool colors twin - although I call dibs on purple) and surprise surprise, I kinda have some resemblances with Raph (personality wise, not that I’m a LOT like him, ctrl c ctrl v, but some stuff is there, and funny enough some of leos personality traits shows in my sister’s personality) Usually what Raph struggles the most on the TMNT media or Headcanons is what I struggle or have struggled in the past, I’ve learned to keep it in or cool down along the years, but yeah, deep down we have a lot in common, ldk why instead of feeling comfortable with him, i feel the opposite. I feel if I could actually meet him, we would fight / argue a lot lolz. But don’t get me wrong, I love him and adore his… complexity. But idk, out of all x reader content, hes the last one I read, I don’t “dare” to dive in too much in his stories, cuz I see more myself in him than at reader sometimes, and the amount of angst this boys goes is just oof (I adore rottmnt Raph tho, he has my whole heart)

Do you guys feel that towards other turtles or characters? Don’t consume some content because it can rub you off or make you a bit uncomfy?

Various pieces of information from the Rise Q&A back in February

It was revealed that there are other Hidden Cities other than the one seen in Rise & there had been plans for the Turtles to visit the Hidden City beneath Tokyo.

2. Splinter was able to use Leo's mystic odachi so easily due to the fact that Splinter had spent a lot of time in the Hidden City & because of this Splinter has a great deal of mystic knowledge, with Splinter also having developed his mystic abilities but he has stopped using those abilities until the events of the series.

3. More information was given about the missing Turtle Siblings & it was stated the Frida, Big Mama's Assistant would have most likely joined her brothers during the future timeline, it was also stated that the other missing Turtle Sibling would have possibly been named Camille after Camille Claudel.

4. When asked on how a Dungeons & Dragons episode would go it was stated that April would be the DM, Raph would be a fighter class, Mikey would be an illusionist, Leo would be an assassin or thief & Donnie would insist on being a scientist since he's sure that there was 'at least one sensible person back then'.

5. The Rise version of Renet could have possibly been used to explore different timelines that might have happened if certain events in the movie had happened differently.

6. After the events of the movie Casey is traveling around the world fighting remnants of the Krang & the Foot Clan.

7. When asked about the Turtle's relationship with Draxum it was stated that in contrast to Mikey who accepted Draxum the most easily, Leo is the most skeptical however it was also stated that Leo would have eventually 'gotten over' his grudge towards Draxum as there were multiple scrapped episodes planned where Leo & Draxum would have been forced to work together.

8. There were plans for the Turtles to eventually go to the Krang's original dimension meaning that it would have been likely for the Turtles to encounter the traditional dimension X/Z stuff such as the Neutrinos.

9. When asked about Casey Junior's relationship with the past/ present version of Leo it was stated that despite it being slightly different due to them being around the same age now Casey Junior can't help but still view Leo as a father figure.

10. It was stated that Splinter has never celebrated the Turtle's Birthdays in the past due to it being to closely related to his negative feelings towards his own mutation however it was also stated that after Splinter's development in the series he would start celebrating the Turtle's Birthday with them.

11. The reason that the Future Version of Leonardo was the one who raised Casey Junior was stated that it was due to the fact that the Future Version of Leonardo had a special affinity for Casey Junior & also felt particularly responsible for Casey Junior after his mother was gone.

12. When asked what the Rise version of Miyamoto Usagi would have been like it was revealed that a possible plan for Usagi was that his home dimension would have been overrun by the Krang causing Usagi to travel to the Turtles dimension for help due to them being the only ones who have ever defeated the Krang.

13. When discussing crossovers between TMNT iterations it was stated that a crossover between Rise & the 1987 cartoon or the 2003 cartoon would have been a possibility due to them also being 2D animated series.

14. April & Sunita were planned to have more 'girls night' episodes together.

It was also stated that Casey would have possibly have developed a dynamic with both April & Sunita so there is also a possibility that Casey would have been included in the 'girls night' episodes with April & Sunita as well.

Hey guys! Just wanted to give a life update. I’m trying to plan with a friend to do a local market on March 9th, so things might be a little slow for a while. And I also discovered I have to move in a couple months, so now I’ve gotta go apartment hunting. I am not too happy about this fact :/ lol

I was hoping to get a lot of drawing done during the previously mentioned 3 day, at home EEG, which I had to do this week, but it ended up being a lot more….distracting and cumbersome, than I’d thought, and sadly I didn’t get much accomplished. (Basically for four days it felt like fire ants were living on my head and it was insanely hard to concentrate. And I could only get up, and be disconnected from the bundle of wires for like 20 min at a time)

Febuwhump has taken a big backseat. I might put out a few more pieces before the end, but I’ve got a lot on my plate with this market so I’m not stressing about it anymore. So if you don’t see me posting at my usual level during the next two weeks please don’t panic! I haven’t “left” or “abandoned” the fandom or anything. Im still plotting out the next updates for EW, Feral Leo, and Brainworm Donnie.

Also if you’ve sent me anything for the TMNT AU competition, please know I’ve seen it, and would love to reply but it may be awhile. We might have to eventually do a bunch in big batches, but I love everything I’ve been sent! And please don’t feel like this is me saying I don’t want you to send me stuff, just be aware I might not get to it immediately!

I’m not gonna be disappearing completely during this time, but I think I’ll only be able to post little sketches and smaller scale stuff for a few weeks. Bigger updates will have to wait, and be worked on when I’m done with the market.

So that’s the skinny, for now!

Hi there! I have a question that I've been wanting to ask for a while. How does your version of TMNT meet Mona Lisa in space?

Alright, I am FINALLY ready to answer this question lol 🤣

They meet early on in the Space Arc. (There’s a comic at the bottom if you don’t want to read the text)

After the turtles break out of Kraang jail due to a power-outage caused by an invading ship and their supreme acting skills, they attempt to make an escape, but are stopped by Fugitoid who is basically begging them to let him out of jail. Some hemming and hawing before they ultimately decide to bring him with them as a potential bargaining piece if things go south. They meet up with Traximus who is Raph’s friend from the Battle Nexus arc (yes I am working on one of those) and he’s happy to help them escape.

Trax and his team are the ones invading the ship because they’re looking for a certain robot by the name of Fugitoid. The turtles and Fugitoid get rescued, though Raph still wants to punch Fugitoid a few times for getting him interrogated by the Kraang and all the rest of them into this mess out in the middle of nowhere space.

Trax brings them to his ship/colony/base (whatever you wanna call it thing) where they’re able to settle in get fixed up. Trax takes them on a tour of the place, and afterwards Leo and Donnie work with Trax’s second in command, Zeno, to work out where the turtles will be staying while they’re there since, it’s looking like it’ll be awhile before they get home.

Raph and Mikey go with Trax back to the Training room when Raph sees a Salamandrian girl with blue gray skin and teal markings with sick moves wrestling with some other crew mate and Raph starts feeling something he’d never felt before(a crush). So after some questions and a very hard push from Trax, he duels her a few times, finding their equally matched (if not she’s a little better than him).

They become fast friends and over the course of the turtles’ time there, they fall in love. Raph gets her a pink scarf that she always wore from then on and much later, upon her request, an “earth name:” Mona Lisa. Mona also gets him new Sais after his are lost in the nothingness of space.

Raph is a lot smoother than his brother, but they are both dorks 🤣

Bayverse!Turtles x reader

A/N: In honor of the second rat we found in the toilet today, along with the signs of rats in the other parts of the kindergarten, daycare and staff room, I bring you this. I’ve changed it from Foot ninjas to a mouser, and brought the turtles in just for the fun of it. And oh yeah, they brought the rat hound in again. IT FOUND ANOTHER RAT WHILE WE WERE THERE. What an internship. It isn’t boring I tell ya.

Btw, me and the kids are now joking that it's Master Splinter’s unmutated family that wishes to recruit ninjas on their own. These little ninjas now do a double check before using the toilet.

Warning: Kids in danger, crying children, and spelling like always.

It was a surprisingly calm day for a Monday in a kindergarten. All handovers of the kids from their parents had gone smoothly, with the kids happily playing together on the mats, the pillow room or the play kitchen. Even the girl that tended to cry whenever her mother dropped her off was in a somewhat good mood, drawing with her two best friends at one of the tables.

You sat by the play kitchen area, plastic food all around you as the boys and girls around you handed you food, acting as if you were the only guest in an overstaffed restaurant. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see one of the adults cutting up fruit, while another one brought more pencils to the drawing table, all while the third one was changing diapers on the three youngest kids.

It was nice to finally have a calm day at your internship. The past few weeks had been somewhat chaotic. Not so chaotic that you couldn’t keep afloat, but enough to make you very tired whenever you finally got home. But damn it, these sweet kids made the whole ordeal worth it, only making you excited for the day you would have your own.

You and your boyfriend had started to talk about children. Nothing was set in stone yet, but the topic had been up several times. Well, if it was possible that was. With your boyfriend’s… less than human nature, none of you were sure that a child would even be possible. But nonetheless you dreamed, finding your heart jump whenever one of the kids accidentally called you mom.

“(Y/N)!”, one of the girls at the table called out, running to you with the drawing in her hands. Her 4 year old face, bright eyes and happy smile shined proudly as she held up her drawing for you. It was a blob of colors with no form of meaning, but nonetheless she was happy. “I made it for my mom!”

“Woooow!”, you smiled, leaning forward to show interest in the paper and the many doodles on it. “Did you really make that all by yourself?”

“Yes!”, she said with a little happy jump. “All by myself!”

“I think your mother is going to like it a lot”, you said, smiling as another kid handed you yet another piece of plastic food, adding it to the growing pile in your lap. “I think you should put it in your drawer. Then mommy will know where it is”.

“Okay!”, she smiled, running to her drawer with a skip in her steps.

With the paper in one hand, she opened her drawer, only to jump back with a scream, causing you and the other adult to jump, all turning your attention her way, all the kids doing the same in quiet shock. In her drawer was a mechanine, the size of a mouth, with one bright red lamp where its eyes should be, walking around on two feet. You jumped at the sight, knowing exactly what it was. You had seen such a thing several times with your boyfriend and his brothers, during your run ins with one certain scientist.

You quickly ran to the girl and pulled her back, just before the mouser jumped out of the drawer, snapping out at you. All the kids let out a scream, running for the farest corner in order to get away from the mouser.

In one swift move, you pressed the number that the turtles had given you onto the keyboard, sending an alarm signal to the ninjas, before giving the mouser a hard kick as it tried to get near you and the poor crying girl.

“Up on the tables!”, you yelled over your shoulder to the three other adults, quickly helping the girl up on the nearest table, before helping the next kid. “Keep the mouser away from the kids!”

And so you did, getting all the kids up on the tables, ignoring the questioning looks from the other pedagogues, as they wondered how you knew what that thing was.

You got the last kid up on the table, kicking the mouser back once more, before quickly jumping up on the table to the kids, before it could bite at your ankles. The kids on the table hug you tightly, crying as the mouser started to bite at the wooden legs of the table, trying to get it to fall.

Suddenly the door swung up, revealing your mutant turtle boyfriend in the front and his brothers right behind him. The moment he spotted the mouser at the feet of your table, he jumped into action, smashing it into pieces with his weapons, causing the room to fall quiet. Thankfully the kids weren't crying at the moment, but you could tell by the looks on their faces that the sight of four mutant ninja turtles would soon cause another round of crying.

“So”, you said, trying to defuse the building intensity in the room. “Kids, this is my boyfriend. You know, the one that was a little different with strong muscles? That is him”.

Your boyfriend waved at the kids with a somewhat awkward smile. When he and his brothers gave you that emergency number, he had never thought he would have to come and save you, three pedagogues and a bunch of kids from a rogue mouser.

To his surprise, one of the kids poked at him, staring at him with their big eyes and runny nose, not fearing his big frame as he looked at them.

“Are you green because you ate broccoli?”

“Yes”, your boyfriend answered with a smile, before knocking on his shell. “And I got this from drinking coconut milk”.

“Oh boy”, was the only thing you could mutter, before the questions came flying, all of the kids wanting to learn about your strange boyfriend and his brothers.

It didn’t take long before the kids started playing with your boyfriend and the other turtles. With Mikey they took turns to jump on the smashed mouser, laughing loudly at the sounds it made. Donnie drew with girls, taking a look at the drawing the girl from before had made. Raph played a throwing game, throwing the kids into a pile of pillows one by one, while Leo was making a tower of building blocks with the quiet kids, their eyes growing wider the taller the tower got.

It was safe to say that you would have to bring your boyfriend and his family to your internship a little more often, especially when the kids started screaming and asking you to bring them once again. There was nothing you could do. The kids had turned into big fans of the ninja turtles. And it was adorable.

You tapped your pencil against the blank answer sheet, subconsciously rubbing your runny nose on your sleeve.

Your headache wasn't intense enough to call 'splitting' but it was bad enough to be a distraction. While you were out sick the maths teacher had covered new material while you were out, and you understood none of it.

You sniffed and reached for your glass of water, your throat was dry and itchy but almost nothing you drank helped in the long run. You rubbed your eyes and tried to turn your attention back to your work, but it was a lost cause.

You laid your head down on your desk, using your arms as a pillow.

The window opened while you were cradling your aching head. You sniffed again, which instantly caught Donnie’s attention. “What’s wrong? Did someone say something to you? Are you hurt?”

You cut off his concerned questioning with a sneeze, which made him calm down the smallest bit.

“You look terrible,” he noted. You shot him a half-hearted glare while taking a large gulp of water. “Not like that. I just- I mean you look really sick.” You would have laughed if it didn’t mean feeling nails scratching the inside of your throat.

He was always like this, shy and a little jittery, even though you’ve been together for a few months. It’s endearing, in Donnie’s own way,

He glanced at the clock in your room, and then back at your tired figure. “Shouldn’t you already be sleeping?”

You let out a small groan, “I guess…”

“How long have you been working?” He asked, stepping closer to your desk.

“Not that long-” you slurred and took another sip of water “-since seven I think.”

Judging by Donnie’s face, it was quite a bit past seven already.

“You really need some sleep-”

“I know.” You snapped, then let out a sigh, noticing his hurt expression. "I know,” you repeated, softer this time, “It’s just - this homework needs to be finished for tomorrow and-"

"Tomorrow's Saturday."

"...Oh." You both let out a small chuckle and you immediately reached for your water.

Laying down on your bed, you stared up at the ceiling and let out a sigh. ��I’m sorry we couldn’t do anything tonight, D.”

“It’s fine,” he responds quickly, “It’s not like you chose to get sick.”

“See you next week?”

He gave you a quick nod before jumping out of your window and onto the roof, only to be met with all three of his brothers waiting for him.

Leo stood front and centre, his arms crossed over his plastron. “Care to explain?”

“Um, well you see, the thing is- smoke bomb!” The egg landed at their feet, exploding into a cloud of black and purple fog.

“Donnie!”

“So not cool, dude.”

“He is getting pummeled when we get home.”

ROTTMNT Curiosities Part.5

The ideas of making and ending the series through IDW comic would be easy to do

If the series is picked up, the tone of Rise would remain the same

Some chapters discarded were the following, (I took the information from

where it will be more complete, in case you want to read it)

Wedding Smashers: Ghostbear marries his fiancé Ghostpepper, a Chupacabra yokai. Raph and Mikey crash their wedding dressed as their aliases Shadybug and Dr. Rude.

Dog Dale Afternoon: April finds out that Baba Yaga cursed Dale to be a werewolf, but he doesn't know what's happening to him, Donnie shows up to “help him,” and be his doctor.

Shred Dead Redemption: Screenwriter Sheldon Vella shared the first board of his showing the brothers chasing the cupcake van called Fire and Icing in Turtle Tank. Unfortunately, a piece of cardboard (Donnie's cloaking device) blocking the front windshield causes the Tank to crash gracelessly into a Lou Jitsu poster.

Warren Stone 2: Warren Stone is cut in half again, but this time the lower half of him becomes a different Warren sporting a beard and shaved head. Warren Stone II ends up becoming a competent and dangerous enemy for the turtles. Realizing that Warren is upset, Warren II has taken his title of "The Turtles' Greatest Enemy", April helps Warren regain his charm.

Gourd Almighty: A comedic episode about Donnie trying to grow the world's largest pumpkin for a contest.

T-Hex: It was going to be about Mikey wanting a robotic toy with a "boopable snoot." After getting the toy he turns out to be not as innocent as he seems.

Lost Goat: Draxum leaves after having a fight with the family (Turtles and Splinter). As he does so, he is abducted by the foot. While trying to rescue Draxum, the family has no choice but to resolve their issues regarding him.

Goyles just wants to have fun: Huggin and Muggin are confused when they find Draxum working in a school cafeteria. Draxum asks Leo and Donnie to help improve his image so as not to lose the respect he once had for the Goyles.

Rampaging Raph: Raph comes to Draxum for help after getting trapped in his enormous mystical form. He is ashamed of not having mastered his mystical powers like his brothers. Draxum ends up splitting Raph and his mystical power, which then becomes a problem when the Red Hulk turns red and begins crushing the city, getting stronger with each hit. To save the city, Raph has to confess and ask his brothers for help.

The Island of Dr. Noe: Hunter/dentist Dr. Noe kidnaps Raph and Leo and takes them to his home island. The doctor wants Raph's tooth in his tooth collection.

Toddler Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mikey becomes the oldest when his siblings turn into little turtles after being attacked by an immortal mutant jellyfish bank robber. 163.There is a small chance that Such TMNT and Rise exist at the same time. 164.Production ties were a little over a year from premise. About 8 weeks from premise to draft record, about 12 for a storyboard, 8 for final animation, with design happening all the time. 6 months for full animation, music, etc. 165. You always interacted a lot with the design team when writing 166.Here is the board with the episodes of the series (in season 2), although some are jokes 167.Although Netflix supported Rise for the movie, it is not Ron or Russ's decision whether the series will continue or not, but they want it to continue supporting 168. The best way to support Rise is to keep watching, posting and spreading the word for the show
