Hamato Micheangelo also known as Mikey (or Angelo, Micheal, little guy, tiny and Dr. Prankenstein among other nicknames) is the youngest son of Splinter and the most invested in human behavior, often roaming the sewers for different goodies like clothes and knickknacks. As the youngest, Mikey often uses his cute face to his advantage when getting into trouble or wanting something as he knows his brothers have a hard time saying no to him and also very much appreciates them protecting him, even if they can be pretty overprotective sometimes (specifically Raph and April). However, he can be quite the menace being the annoying younger sibling he is, Mikey loves playing pranks on people, mostly harmless ones, and just generally joking/goofing around with his brothers which some appreciate more than other - he is the lovingly adorable comic relief, or at least that’s what he describes himself as.
Other than Leo, Mikey isnt very interested in the whole Prophecy thing and while he does respect family tradition, he isnt really a big fan of some of the predictions and what his ancestors have done - he mostly goes by his own flow while still heavily being influenced by Splinter and his stories. Mikey’s destiny is to become the deity of the heart, being able to detect peoples feelings and even healing illness and wounds (which do take a lot out of him). These powers are arguably the strongest of the three however the most stressful and hardest to use since they need a lot of focus which Mikey lacks - thats why he uses them sparingly, at least the healing part, he has the whole “reading people’s emotions” down pretty perfectly. In a fight, Mikey is the most flexible one though very clumsy on his feet when he gets disctracted, however he also is the fastest out of his brothers (with Leo using his powers as an exception) and very talented with his Nunchucks among other things, being able to use anything as a weapon, like his YoYo.
As the youngest, Mikey is the most restless and truly the heart of the team, always wanting to help (which can get him into trouble as he’s aslo very easily manipulated) and cheer people up, the most creative one often in his own little world, making friends with any animal he finds left and right, cant sit still for five minutes and doesnt like being left alone - he seeks comfort in hugs and his comic books. However Mikey is also the chef of the family, interested in cooking shows, he often replicates what he sees and sometimes its pretty edible - other times its not. Not only a chef but also the most artistic person in the family, loving to draw and craft tiny bits, even trying his hands in sewing while sometimes picking up other hobbies and immidiatly dropping them from loss of interest. And out of all of his brothers, Mikey is also the most talented skater, sneaking out with April and Raph to skate and draw grafiti on walls while looking out for criminals and talking about comic books. Like Leo, Mikey is quite interested in cartoons/anime however does prefer comicbooks and does occasionally read normal books (like Animorphs or Warrior cats) while his taste in music is heavily influenced by american and internet culture - he is totally a TikTok kid who records dance and prank videos but never allowed to post them.
A few other FunFacts about the tiny guy:
He loves putting stickers on his shell, they make him feel pretty and April constantly brings him new sticker sheets with random motifs from her part-time job, thats why they change constantly
Can’t actually smell anything which is mostly the reason why his food sometimes gets burnt though his stomach can digest pretty much anything so he just eats it anyway, he also has red/green color blindness
Very hyperactive and bouncy, loves jumping around and doing little jigs while also whistling a lot - the most expressive, clumsy and loud one out of his brothers, his love language is mostly physical affection and he will randomly start hugging and theres nothing anyone can do about it
Mikey’s favorite siblings are definitly Raph and April whom he will hang around a lot even if he sometimes doesnt really understand them and their teen angst - but their music is cool and watching movies with them is his favorite activity even if they have to put on more kid-friendly ones for him (both of them are Horror movie nuts but would never let Mikey see one).
Feeds the alley cats once a day, he wanted to bring them home but due to Splinter, he decided not to - they do sometimes follow him into the sewers though
Mikey isn’t really fluent in any language, he knows some bits of japanese and french that he learned from his cooking shows and Splinter however he does know sign language and really wants to learn how to write in braille incase he would ever need it
Constantly has bandages from just being overall clumsy while also having to wear knee-protectors as his knees are very easily bruisable - he has quite a record of dislocating a knee or breaking a bone

Over a week ago, I was daydreaming about how cool it would be to have a video game adaptation of The Last Ronin and just earlier today it was announced there's a video game being made of it...that's probably one of the weirdest and specific coincidences to ever happen to me.

Something that I have kind of been thinking about is the prophecy that Draxum has mentioned a few times which was kind of stated as one of Draxum's main motivations in his plans.
Council of Heads: We’re tired of arguing about this Draxum! The prophecy does not say that humans are our enemies.
Draxum: It predicts the destruction of Yokai! The humans have already driven us underground.
Draxum: But now I realise the true threat to my people mentioned in the prophecy was... You!
In the episodes 'End Game' & 'Anatawa Hitorijanai', Draxum mentions a prophecy which he also states is the reason he originally created the Turtles in order to create warriors to protect the Yokai with Draxum originally believing the prophecy was warning the Yokai about humans before deciding that the prophecy was actually about the Shredder after meeting him.
Something that I kind of wonder about is if the prophecy might have actually been about the Krang, considering that the Krang seem to have created the Shredder in the Rise universe or if the prophecy could be about other TMNT enemies such as the Triceraton's, consider the prophecy is kind of stated as one of the reasons the Turtle's were created in Rise something I kind of wonder about is if there had been plans to actually show the prophecy but we didn't get the chance to see it.

Rewatching TMNT 03 it hit me; no one ever acknowledges that the Turtles are CHILDREN. All their friends are adults, their enemies are adults, the situations they keep finding themselves in are adult situations, but no one ever pulls them aside and says "It's okay, you don't have to do this." (No flack to Splinter - he tried to stop them, and when he realised he couldn't he supported them instead). The really beautiful thing about GitS is seeing Ghost be the adult he never knew he needed.
The fucked up thing is the only person who acknowledges them as kids is Splinter and Shredder, of all people. It makes what Shredder does REALLY messed up. Like the first interaction he has with the turtles is immediately trying to manipulate a teenager into believing he's a hero that should be helped and served. And Leo, who has very little social experience at this point, believes him. Because he's LITERALLY a kid.
THEN Y'KNOW SHREDDER JUST HAS A GRUDGE AGAINST FOUR TEENAGERS FOR THE REST OF HIS STUPID LIFE SO FHGKDFH
Looking back on everything, Ghost knows how hard it was to be a kid and do all of that stuff. How it felt like they had to do it because they were capable of doing it, because they were kids and they were taught to do right, and how their focus had never been on being kids because they were so busy staying safe and learning for when Splinter wasn't around anymore, for when they couldn't be kids anymore. A bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
That's why Ghost trains the boys only as much as they ask for, and he presses them to stay kids as long as they can. It's not that he wants to handle everything by himself, he just wants them to be safe, and not feel guilt or a moral obligation to save the world.
Of course, he can't stop them from doing it anyway. Which is why he trains them, so they can stay alive. He knows trouble will find them eventually, as desperately as he tries to keep them out of it.

Yeah! Basically, there's no leader for a good portion of my tmnt — tbh, donnie and raph kinda take the "leader" role as the oldest brothers, but they're not officially leaders or anything Just older brothers knowing what's best and bossing their younger brothers.
Later on, I think that they’re too disorganized, and Splinter's thinking about what might be best for their team

I liked the idea that's it's a prophecy sort of thing. There are these ancient hamoto clan spirits that the boys go to sometimes for guidance. After a *really* rough (and almost deadly) fight from shreddy, Splints brings the boys to these spirits to help them figure out what's best for the team. Through this conversation, Leo is appointed leader by these spirits. Leo is an absolute anxious wreck about it, he has no belief whatsoever that he should be the leader, even if the "prophecy" said so. Even if Splinter believes in him.

Decided to make this my official ref-layout for my AU designs (heres raph plus some more info) so here’s Leo - the eldest son and the leader of the group
Info about the Blue boi under the cut
Hamato Leonardo, also known as Leo (or Nardo, blue guy, Hero boy and Fun-police) is the eldest son of Splinter and the most traditional of his brothers, taking both his training and the prophecy very seriously, studying his families history in detail to please his father and ancestors, to become the ultimate warrior. Due to being the eldest and resembling Splinters younger self, Leo is the golden child and despite him denying it, it’s very clear that Splinter favorites Leo, often training with him, teaching moves and wisdom he would never show his other sons. Due to this, Leo has developed quite the denial and perfectionist complex, in his eyes he always has to be good at everything no matter what while both Splinter and his ancestors teachings/the prophecy can never do anything wrong and should always be followed no matter how wrong they sound - even if it means to hurt those close.
As the eldest, Leo is also destined to become the deity of the body, gaining powers that strengthen his body and give him abilities like super strength or lightning speed which he has a hard time controlling at first, which frustrates him a lot. While he is very skilled with his swords, the bow and arguably the best fighter on the team when it comes to weaponry, Leo isnt as coordinated when it comes to fighting with only his fists which is a bit unfortunate considering his powers.
Being Leader, Leo is the calm and responsible one, taking missions very seriously and always prepared with a plan though he can get really irritated when his brothers dont immidiatly follow his lead, question his plans (especially Raph whom he gets into fights a lot) and goof around as he really never allows himself to be a kid. However, he is very much a nerd, specifically he’s really into old, awful cartoons and anime even writing self-insert fanfiction about him and his cartoon heroes, whom he tries to imitate a lot, going on adventures (and dates) among other things. Literature was always one of his interests, spending hours reading not only comics but thick books, mostly about space, autobiographies or japanese myths/legends while also occasionally writing poems he comes up with when he meditates. Just like Donnie, Leo is fluent in japanese and watches a lot of his shows in its original language while getting writing lessons from Splinter. Leo’s music taste is also very much influenced by his father, listening to japanese folk songs - though he does have a soft spot for j-pop and Vocaloid.
A few other fun facts about the boy in blue:
He only wears the scarf because the texture of it makes him very comfortable and also because it makes a good cape
Very sensitive tongue, any food texure his tongue doesnt like makes him immidiatly gag
Stims by flapping his hands and sometimes does a happy little jig when he gets excited - he is however very embarressed by it, even telling his brothers to stop doing their own thing (like Raph tapping his feet/ drumming)
Can absolutly not interact with people he’s crushing on, like his brain will enter gay-panic-mode and shut down, thats why he prefers to crush on cartoon characters instead
Really tries to avoid April because she’s nothing but trouble, however she is the first person Leo will go to when he has a problem/secret he cant tell Splinter about
Leo’s favorite brother is Donnie, they often hang out and talk about literature and plans while listening to hyperpop Vocaloid songs, Mickey is his second favorite and while they dont activly hang out together they do occasionally talk about cartoons and Leo does appreciate the hug attacks his younger borther is known to do, Raph and Leo often fight due to their different views on the prophecy, Raph’s overall attidute and disrespect towards his leadership and the family tradition - though when they do get a long its mostly over movies and which fictional character is cooler
Also, once Karai gets recruited into the family, Leo and her hang out constantly, training together and confide in each other - she would definitly help him be less serious and probably give him some dating advice from one gay to the other while talking about the latest shows and whatever horrible anime Karai found on the internet that they will definitly not be obsessed with for at least a week.

Emerson Corley : MHA/BNHA
An american student who has a legacy of family exchange students to U.A. They were the catalyst of a project called H.E.R.O. aka Hero Elimination and Restoration Objective. Because their quirk ‘Tarot Matter’ is—in short—a quirk that acts as multiple. And the Phantom Order wanted to try to create artificial quirks and possibly the ability for someone to have multiple quirks. Deku for example, he has multiple quirks even with a quirk being the cause of it. Back to H.E.R.O. they’d lose Em as a subject but not without a bit of their blood. Their dad died during their rescue and their mom decided it be best to start them and their sisters training immediately. And once each was old enough sending them to Ravenwood (a made up american hero school) or eventually to U.A. Emerson would get into the hero course (having an option to get into the support course due to their mothers status in the industry.) (They’re kinda a nepo baby-) Em ends up dating Shoji later on :>

Aceline is the only demi-god child of Nyx known to exist. And was born through pathogenic means with a bit of her fathers DNA. Grew up traveling between the northern and southern east coast. Before her satyr protector Auden inevitable brought them to Camp Half-Blood. They’re the second longest camper just a few months after Annabeth. Nyx visits sometimes and only at night it in dreams but has not claimed Aceline due to well the gods (even though Zeus fears Nyx, a mothers gonna worry.) They get claimed post-book 5 of pjo and had been inserted into the prophecy of seven (now eight) because why not <3. Also now Leos not a seventh wheel anymore :D. I’m not a hugeeeee caleo shipper so- Leo and Aceline 💪. Aceline and Gaea do NOT get along, mainly because of Aceline being in the prophecy that will stop her from changing the world. Ummm, oh! Aceline has some super cool powers :> Oh and they’re a legacy of apollo- um yeah don’t mind that they’re kinda crazy with all this stuff- most of my ocs are normal I promise- but uh Aceline can make little stars that can EXPLODE! There’s a couple other characters I made to go along with Aceline like Auden and another Demi-god who’s their best friend Delphina! And the hellhounds who are canonically they’re siblings- I still can’t wrap my head around that but 🤷. (They also have a pegasus called equinox and a hellhound who i’ve based off my own irl dog-)
Armani Monroe : Ninjago
Ok! Armani is the grand child of Mystake, an Oni (Warlord) and long time friend of Master Wu and Lord Garmadon(?) Was unaware of her heritage for most of her childhood before her mom and grandmother had a big fight. Where she and her brother learned of their heritage they splint, Armani wanting to learn and invest in that part while her brother chose to be with their human heritage. So she’d begin to learn and train under Sensei Garmadon as he has the she essence as her. The Oni’s Distruction. Then she lost her mentor and left to train on her own and focus almost everything into the study of Oni. Misako kept in contact atleast. But she sorta resented the Ninja so when she was called in during SoN she wasn’t the friendliest but would help the best she could. Joined them on all their adventures during SoN to MotO, being with all the ninja in SoN, being in the first realm during hunter and helping the ninja during MotO. End us joining the ninja permanently S11 onward. Ends up dating Lloyd because Llorumi 👎.
Beatrice : TMNT (MM)

I’ll talk about her MM iteration here! Was previously a bat before being mutated by Baxter Stockman, being the last to be mutated. And was only a tube baby during Utrom’s raid. She got lost a bit after the escape and was later presumed dead by Superfly, only to be found by a couple who thankfully did not freak out about some chubby human like baby bat crawling around an alleyway. She really doesn’t know how they didn’t buttt she’s been living with them in secret ever since, being home schooled and is only let out at night. She has a few internet friends from around New York. She first saw the mm!turtles when the news was covering their fight with Superfly. She was both in awe and in shock because more mutants like her. Freaking out, fangirl-ish type reaction. After the fight she spent the rest of the day convincing her parents to let her enroll in school, they said yes since people weren't gonna freak out (they made her go out a few times first to gauge reactions, she also got to meet her friends for the first time in person.) The first day of school she almost got lost, and got mistaken as wingnut twice before finding the turtles and having a whole spider-man pointing meme reaction. I imagine them being all excited about meeting another mutant who's a student. X)

So I've been messing around with my TMNT incarnation and I had a thought:
How funny would it be if the turtles assumed that Lou Jitsu was their human DNA and Draxum dramatically says...nope. Actually your other father was Lou Jitsu's brother.
My thoughts were that Yoshi was an artist under Lou (if I stick with this I'm gonna need to give him an actual name)'s protection. Still gonna keep a prophecy from Shredder that Splinter's under but the assumption and dramatic reveal would be funny, right?
All the evidence from an outside perspective would point to Yoshi, except the turtles would assume Lou. Also, the angst. Splinter watching his dead brother's movies, making sure his brother's nephews know and love him, even if it won't be like how Yoshi knew Lou. I was already doing that with Shen but now it's double.

One more time! I decided to go the Venus route with the last lost turtle sibling and lore is below the cut.
Utilizing what vague memories I have from 12+ years ago of the TMNT Power Rangers crossover, I drew inspiration that Venus is very easily connected to her mystical ninpo powers, and was even able to utilize them just after her mutation.
She is a sea turtle, and instead of getting the mutant hands/feet like her siblings, she kept her flippers and uses her ninpo as an extension to make arms and legs for herself.
Shortly after Draxum's lab blew up, she was washed away down the drains, thrown by the current until eventually making it out of the Hidden City and back to the surface world.
Around that same time, Grandpa Sho was back in New York and wandering the streets, hoping to find any signs of Yoshi, who had very publicly gone missing. Though with no clues in weeks, he was beginning to lose hope that Yoshi would ever be found, or if he was even still alive.
Sho wandered the streets in the rain when he suddenly stumbled across a baby crying out for help and fishes her out of a drain only to realize she is not what he expected. This was not a baby but some sort of sentient turtle, and Sho decides that she is some kind of Hōnengame (or a “kame onna”), which is a yokai turtle-woman who comes to bring prophecies and predictions to humans.
Safe in his hands, she excitedly reveals her ninpo energy, and Sho recognizes the clan symbol of his ancestors, believing now that this a sign from the universe to make up for his shortcomings with Yoshi and try one last time to raise a protector for the Hamato clan.
He decides to train her in the ways of the Hamato ninpo, raising her as her sensei/ grandfather back in Japan, and even granting her the Tessen war-fan that once belonged to his own daughter, Atsuko.
Fittingly, he takes parts out of "Kame" and "Onna" and renames her "Kanna". Which also means "summer waves" in Japanese.
For years he tells her all the stories and histories of their family, including stories about Yoshi, Karai, and the Shredder. The two are a happy family, but inevitably, he passes away from old age when she is still pretty young, leaving her to continue training/ preparing for this journey without him.
So now she lives alone as a solo-ninja mystic-warrior in Japan and remains there, waiting for the Shredder or the Foot to finally reappear. She ends up being like a one-woman solo vigilante Batman/ Aquaman hero who lives in a lair mostly underwater but surfaces for various butt-kicking and ninja vigilante shenanigans.
“Venus” becomes her hero name as people are quick to focus on the whole mysterious crime fighting woman “with no arms” bit, and the name quickly sticks as an alter ego.
Eventually, she does find her long-lost family and learns that the Shredder was already defeated.
Being her life's purpose and sworn duty, she is thrown for a loop on what to do with her life now, but decides to try and figure that out together with her family.
(Also, I imagine she and Splinter have a very touching heart to heart talking about Grandpa Sho. 😭 )
As for special powers, I think other than her everyday use of limb manipulation, she has a very strong sense of connection to mind, body, and spirit... and thus gets prophecies and visions, and is good at reading energy levels.
Might even throw in some healing powers all "Dark Transfer/ Force Healing" ala Star Wars?
I had a thought that she can fight with the limb manipulation too, a lot like a Waterbender or Ming Hua from ATLA/LOK.
EDIT: I had a thought that she and Usagi butt heads a lot in Japan and are bitter rivals (since Venus is a vigilante and Usagi would be more an official longstanding family traditon-sort of samurai of the Hidden City there.)

After being sent back in time to where splints dies saving the turtles, Leo couldn’t just sit there and let them die, their himself and his brothers after all. He might have raised Casey, but it’s a whole new ballgame for 4 mutant turtles in a world with no apocalypse, how hard could it be?

After 5 years of being cursed into being basically turtle monsters, their still waiting at camp halfblood for a prophecy so they can go on a quest to undo this spell that’s been put upon them. Leo being impatient, decides to take things into his own hands, Mikey ofc not letting him go by himself. Raph and Donnie suddenly finding them gone, go on a quest to bring them home.
