A/N: Here you go! Donnie and a popular reader💜 It is worth noting that I’ve never been in an American High School, and therefore aren’t sure how the cafeteria truly works. Buuuut, I think this still works💜

“Don’t turn right now”, your best friend said, cutting you off mid sentence, as you were telling her about your weekend, her eyes flickering between you and whatever was behind you at the other end of the cafeteria. “He’s here”.

You bite your lip with a small smile, knowing exactly who your friend was talking about. It was one of the turtles.

“Is he alone?”, you asked, only loud enough for her to hear, keeping the rest of your busy table in the unknown, as they talked about their own weekends, seemingly not noticing you and your friends' little conversation. “Is he looking this way?”

“No, he’s with friends and his brothers”, your friend answered, leaning a little to the side to get a better look. She then hurried back in her former position, looking at you with a smile. “He’s looking!”

You turned around in your seat, looking towards the food line, where you saw Donatello with some of his friends, just behind his three brothers. He was standing as if he was watching something his friends showed him on their phones, but his eyes was nowhere looking at the screen. They were looking right over the top in your direction, meeting yours. You tried to smile at him, but before you could move a face muscle he looked down on the screen in front of him, a small panic in his eyes as he tried to act as if he had been watching it the whole time.

You sighed in annoyance as you turned back towards your friend. Your friend shooting you an apologetic look.

“It’s as if he doesn’t even notice!”, you groaned, poking lazily at your food with your fork, suddenly having no interest in eating.

“I don’t get it”, your friend said. “I could have sworn he was staring at you”.

“Maybe”, you mumbled, thinking of a way you could catch the attention of your crush. Nothing had worked in the past year. You have had a good eye to Donatello, ever since he and his brothers started attending your school. He was different from any other guy that you had had a crush on, well, other than the fact that he was a mutant turtle that had trained in the art of ninjutsu ever since he was a baby. He was by most classifications, a nerd, a far cry from the usual jocks you found yourself falling for. When he wasn’t with his brothers, Donnie hung out with the other nerds from his grade, talking about anime, video games, movies or comic books. But Donnie wasn’t the stereotypical nerd from the movies, who feared the big jocks or a sudden beating. Donnie was sarcastic and did well with words. He was for the most time calm, and took everything in a roll. And to be honest, you found him much more charming than any other guy you had found yourself interested in. Which only made it more frustrating for you, when Donnie did not return your looks, nor tried to start up a conversation with you, like all the other guys had done.

But unbeknownst to you, Donnie’s friends started pushing and poking him with teasing smiles, having noticed the way he had looked at you, and his panicked expression when you saw him.

“Look”, one of them said, poking Donnie’s cheek with a big teasing smile. “Don’s blushing”.

“Am not”, Donnie said, slapping his friend's hand away, turning to follow the line as it moved, his brothers grabbing a tray each as they moved forward.

“So you’re going to pretend that we didn’t just see you make eye contact with (Y/N)?”, his friend asked as Donnie grabbed a tray, getting a look at the school food with a grimace. He still remembered the days he used to dream about school, and so far it had been everything he had dreamed of… except the food… and the confusing thing that was crushes.

“I still think you should just talk to her”, one of his other friends said, letting the kitchen lady slap a lump of… something onto his tray. “You have looked at her for a year now. It might be time to be that brave mutant turtle hero and go talk to her”.

“But I can’t”, Donnie sighed, looking at the not so nice smelling food in disdain. Maybe he should ask Scumbug for a lunchbox instead of this slack. “She’s popular and I’m a-”.

“A mutant that saved the world a year ago?”, his friend butted in, following Donnie to the table his brother had taken a seat at. “Surely that will get her just a little interested”.

Donnie sighed in annoyance, poking at his food. Why did he tell his friends about his crush on you in the first place?

From your table, you sat and watched Donnie along with his friends and brothers, as he started to dig into the food in front of him, your eyes burning into the back of his purple hoodie, frustration building up inside of you.

“Right!”, you finally let out, slamming your fork down onto your tray, causing your whole table to stare as you stood up, your friend looking confused. “I guess that if you want something done, you have to do it yourself”. And then you walked off in the direction of Donatello’s table.

Donnie’s tablemates saw you coming before Donnie did, his brothers exchanging excited glances, waiting for the moment Donnie would notice. But he didn’t. At least not until you tapped his shell, making him turn to see who wanted his attention. Donnie almost choked on the food in his mouth when he saw you, his friends giggling among themselves as his nervous reaction.

“Hey, Donnie”, you smiled, ignoring the way his tablemates seemed to find great interest in your presence.

“H- hey, (Y- Y/N)”, Donnie stammered, causing the boys to snicker, his face growing hot. “W- what are y- you doing h- here?”

“She attends the school, dummy”, Raph said, very amused by the scene unfolding in front of him. “And you’re supposed to be the smart one”.

Donnie shot him a glare. This was not the time to be funny at his expense, especially not with his crush standing in front of him.

“Well, I actually wanted to talk to you”, you said, grabbing a gentle hold on the string of Donnie’s hoodie. This action caused him to freeze, his glasses sliding a little further down his beak.

“A- about w- what?”, he asked cautiously, way too aware of the hand that tugged lightly at his hoodie string.

“I wanted to hear if you would like to hang out someday”, you smiled sweetly.

Donatello stared at you, as if he did not fully believe the words that came out of your mouth. “R- really?”

“Yes”, you smiled, feeling confident by his stunned expression. “Got any plans tomorrow?”

“No!”, Donnie exclaimed, eager to finally get a chance to be alone with you.

“Actually”, Leo started. “We’ve promised our dad that we would-”.

“I haven’t”, Donnie said, shutting Leo down real fast. “I have no plans tomorrow”.

“In that case”, you smiled brightly. “Meet me outside the school after the last class. Then we can go to my place and hang out. Deal?”

“Deal!”, Donnie exclaimed, happiness written all over his face.

“Okay then”, you said, letting go of his hoodie string. Donnie almost seemed disappointed when you did so, having enjoyed your hand so close to his face. “I’ll see you tomorrow, Donnie”.

“See you…”, Donnie said like he was in a trance, watching as you walked away, feeling the bubble of joy growing in his chest, ignoring the giggles and teasing smiles from his friends and brothers. You and Donnie was finally going to spend some time together.

TMNT: Mutant Mayhem Yandere Headcanons

A/N, not important: Saw the movie the day it came out, then did this before I forgot everything. I'm going to be making both yan and non yan bots of them soon, so yay. Sorry if any of them are OOC, I'm going off of memory. I'll tweak them once I can see the movie again. Any criticism is welcome, constructive or not. This is supposed to be a gender neutral reader, so if I screwed up somewhere, please tell me.

Summary: Mutant Mayhem Yandere Headcanons

Mikey:

Mikey would be a dependent yandere with protective and manipulative tendencies.

Mikey cares for those around him and bonds quickly, but you, you’re a human. You’re everything he’s ever wanted to be.

You’re human, you’re perfect, and you’re his.

He is constantly worried about you, almost like a mother hen. Once he realizes how the human body is more fragile and weaker than his own, he gets really protective about you.

He doesn’t go about it well though. Mikey wants to hang out with you the way he knows how, and that usually involves some sketchy or dangerous stunts. Despite his worry for your safety, he still drags you into unnecessarily dangerous areas because he wants to show off or play hero. He does get upset when you get hurt, and he tries to save you when something happens, but he doesn't stop bringing you into the situations in the first place.

He wants to impress you and keep you interested in him. He’s still paranoid that everyone might forget the good they’ve done and decide to cast them away, so he is in constant need of approval.

He treats you like royalty, to the best of his ability of course. You’re his first priority when it comes to most things. If anyone tries to harass you, he’s quick to step up and use his influence to shut it down. Or force if needed.

Mikey’s aloof and in constant need of your praise and attention. He just wants to be able to hang out with you, but he does understand you can’t do everything he can. Which is why he takes you along anyway so you can depend on him. He just wants you to see he’s needed. Love him so he can keep loving you.

Needs you around him constantly, his mental health relies on it. You’re everything to him, and he doesn’t even realize as he puts more and more of his burdens onto you. You’re his everything.

Uses the fact he never had much social interaction to brush off anything weird he does. Mind you, he completely knows he’s in the wrong, he just doesn’t care much. He slowly deteriorates your will until you depend on him too, making you think everything is normal. He just wants normal, but he realizes he’ll never truly have that. So, he makes his own.

Mikey also wouldn’t hurt you, or at least, not on purpose. You deserve the world, but sometimes the things he drags you into don’t go as well as he wants. In those cases, Mikey leaves with you in tow, fretting over you the entire time. He never wants to hurt you, he just wants you to be happy with him. He’s gotten really good at bandaging you over the time he’s known you.

Mikey would wait until you’re both older before kidnapping you. He knows it wouldn’t go well, plus he can’t keep you anywhere in the lair. He might try and figure out how to run away with you, but he loves his family too much to try. He’d wait it out with you, loving you to the best of his twisted ability.

In the meantime, he makes sure you’re with him every step of the way. He pulls you in with cheesy pickup lines and jokes, trying to make you forget all the bad that has happened with him.

Donnie:

Donnie was harder to pinpoint, but I think he’d definitely be a more delusional and stalking yandere. Possibly even an isolating one.

As always, Donnie seems to be the tech nerd, with his little bed fort including all these computers and electronics and such. He’s almost always on his phone, and knows how to navigate the digital world quite well, so he uses that to his advantage in a lot of ways.

He’s always watching you, and has massed hundreds of pictures and videos of you on his phone. He likes to just look at them at night, making edits of you and collages of his favorites. He probably even taught himself how to hack into camera systems so he could find more film of you.

From all the audio clips he’s recorded of you, he developed a scarily accurate AI voice of you that he uses to talk to him. Whether it’s making it say sweet nothings to him, or to just have one way conversation type stuff, he’s hooked to it.

Eventually, he starts to believe the voice, and forgets the audio recordings he saved of the AI isn’t actually something you said. He starts to fully believe you’re just as in love with him as he is with you and that you’re just too shy to confess to him. Donnie gets really upset if anyone tries to break him out of his delusion by reminding him it isn’t real.

Is already convinced you’re both basically dating despite neither of you ever actually talking to each other.

I mean, he saved the world. Who wouldn’t want to date him. He’s obviously the coolest boyfriend you can possibly get.

In the back of Donnie’s mind, he knows what he’s doing isn’t right, but it’s as if he falls into quicksand with his delusion. Every time he tries to remind himself that something is wrong, he sinks deeper into his idea that this is just how your relationship works. You can’t always trust what you see online, after all. The movies and TV shows just aren’t depicting it right.

When he finally does ‘confess’ his feelings for you, it’s less of a confession of love and more of an assumption you already said yes. You barely get a word in before he’s telling the entire world about your relationship with him.

He never gets too violent, but he will push you around sometimes. Anytime you poke a hole in his perfect fantasy of how your relationship is, he freaks out and starts to whine until you give in.

Would one day just bring you home. Since in his mind what he’s doing is perfectly normal, he sees nothing wrong with taking you home and keeping you there. He doesn’t like having to share space with his brothers still, but that’s okay. He can make room for you in his bed area and you can just stay there! Until his dad or the other mutants let you leave of course.

This would devastated Donnie, and would probably be his snapping point for waking up and seeing it wasn’t as perfect as he made it. But, unlucky you, he only snapped out of the ‘everyone else sees this as normal too’ bit.

Next time, he just brings you to a whole new area of the sewer to live. Just you and him, together forever. Just as it was meant to be.

Raph:

Raph would be an overprotective and a threatening kind of yandere.

Raph was always one of the first to suggest they do something and ran in head first into a problem. He was also always one of the first to dip when things started to go south. If someone tries to start something with you, he’s not afraid to remind them why people once considered him a monster.

Directs his need for a physical anger release at your friends/family instead of you. He doesn't want to hurt you, but he needs you to understand how you rejecting him is hurting him. So, he threatens your family and/or friends to get the message across.

Oh, you don’t love him anymore? Well, guess you better start preparing those savings to pay off some medical bills.

He’s prone to violence and is very loud, but only the verbal side will ever be targeted at you. He’ll shout, cry, mock, or even belittle you if it means you won’t leave him for just one more minute. He’ll comfort you afterwards of course, but he panicked and it just spilled out. It’s your fault, really.

If you have something that makes you insecure, he might randomly bring it up to poke fun or mess with you if you’re being difficult. He tries to

Doesn’t tolerate any flack from anyone when it comes to you. You’re his special someone, no ones getting in the way. He’d fight Superfly all over again if it meant you were safe and happy with him.

Loves to show off in front of you. If you ever go to watch one of his wrestling matches, he’s absolutely dominating the mat. And probably getting a lot of points off for illegal moves.

Loves to drag you around and make you do the stuff he wants to do. You’re his partner, you need to support him after all. He gets offended if you have other plans or just don’t want to hang out with him at any given time.

He’ll most likely try to sabotage your plans or make you feel guilty for not hanging out with him.

When it comes to kidnapping, it would definitely be harder for them to pull it off. Not only does he have his dad and brothers to worry about, but now there’s a whole plethora of other mutants living in the same sewer pipe as him. What he’d most likely do is try and find a secluded area in the sewers to keep you in.

He’d fix it up to the best of his ability and make sure it was a safe area to stay in, then he’d just take you and move you in.

He’d be baffled when you get mad at him for bringing you here. He promises to take care of you, he just thinks it’d be better for you to stay here. Where it’s safe. With him. And no one else to bother you.

He, of course, does not stay there, but always knowing where you are makes him happy. To him, it’s the thought that counts.

Leo:

Leo shows signs of being a worshiping or obsessed yandere with hints of dependence.

Like how he did with April, he latches on to you, and he latches on fast.

This man never lets you go. Glued to your hip 24/7, 365. Anything you do, you’re doing it with him by your side.

He just constantly needs to be near you at all times. You are everything to him, and he needs to prove it to you. Have chores? He’s showing up at your house to lend a hand. Need to go somewhere? He can take you there, no problem. You never get a second to breathe from how much he stays near you.

He sees no wrong in anything you do. You’re a walking, talking, embodiment of perfection! Of course he’s going to vehemently defend no matter what. If you did it, it was the right thing to do, no matter the situation.

He’s constantly talking about you to anyone who’ll listen. Leatherhead asks him to play some games? He’s talking about your favorite game the whole time and how good you are at playing it. Everything is about you. No one knows how he does it, but he can divert any conversation into a love blind rant about you.

He gets all huffy when you don’t give him as much attention as he wants. You’re his everything, so why can’t you just treat him the same? It’s not like it takes a lot of effort, you just need to pay attention to him instead of whatever else you’re doing.

Guilt trips you A LOT. He doesn’t really mean to, but he definitely plays the ‘poor me, I’m a mutant and people think I’m a monster’ card anytime you show any hesitance with anything he does.

He’s your own personal knight. If you have any trouble, whether you got robbed, are being bullied, etcetera etcetera, he’s there to help. He still loves violence like his brothers, and he would never pass up the chance to fight. Especially if it was in your honor.

Doesn’t hurt you, but can get really frustrated if you resist him. He will play his woe is me routine, but if that doesn’t work, he’ll withdraw from you completely. He’s still watching you of course. He’d never actually leave. But you don’t know that. Just like you don’t know he’s the one who made sure you’d run into trouble the next night and only had Leo to call on. You need him, just as he needs you. He’ll forgive you of course, but he’ll hold it over your head for about a week, just to make sure you won’t try again for a while.

Doesn't kidnap you. He thinks about it a lot of course. Being able to be with you every second of the day, to make sure you’re safe and happy. But he logically knows he can’t. He even tried to convince you to run away with him a couple of times, but that didn’t go over well. Instead, he spends every waking moment by your side. Pushes for sleepovers, hangouts, dates, all the things. There’s never a time when he’s not near you.

And if you do say no or try to make other plans? Well he just ‘happens’ to be in the area and shows up.

He doesn't understand how you could ever be angry or upset and anything he does. After all, it’s all for you. You should be thanking him.

TMNT HEADCANONS - Taking naps with the turtles / having a sleepy S/O

As someone who has accidentally slept for 23 hours straight and literally has a nickname as “snooze” I’m obligated to do this (I tried to look for a cute / aesthetic gift but that pup is my spirit animal fr)

I’ve been digging how @oozedninjas does their Headcanons (as long with their writing, I seriously eat it up everytime yum yum yum)

as much as I love looooong Headcanons, sometimes I only have some blurbs going on in my mind, I also think this keeps things so dynamic, every interaction can be seen and everyone is happy yipee (I hope you don’t mind me using your writing style? Notes: Dude Mutant Mayhem was so fucking good, so in order to honour the release of it here is some dumb thoughts I've been thinking of ever since I saw it. A second part may potentially be out soon but looking from a more angst perspective

I think that it's all started because he found Donnie reading some about his favourite anime characters and got curious and asked him about it, to which Donnie went on for ages about fanfiction in general, to different tropes, clichés etc!

⛥Donnie and Mikey definitely seem like the type of kids who ended up on the wrong side of the internet as very young kids and found the most goriest shit ever

⛥When Raph was a little kid he found a plushie when him and his brothers were exploring the sewer. He deemed it cute but because his brothers were all teasing him over it he left it and then went out on his own to find it and brought it back to the lair. He tried to hide it and then cuddle it when he was feeling sad but one day Splinter found it and brought it up to him in front of the others, making him embarrassed. However, to this day it is still hidden somewhere underneath the covers.

⛥The guys secretly watched some super gory horrors one time after splinter said not to and they all freaked themselves out over it but they tried to hide it from splinter. When Splinter eventually did find out, he did things to specifically scare each turtle in order to teach them a lesson (which he heavily enjoyed doing). They'd always discuss the scenarios the final girl was put through and what they would do in that situation at night and then the whole thing about "freaky" stuff happening to them would be brought up...it took them a very long time to realise that it was just Splinter fucking with them.

⛥They all watched vines and quote them from day to day

⛥Leo loves to collect plant and flowers but when he brings them down to the lair they die within a week and he has definitely cried over at least half of them.

⛥Mikey is definitely the type of person to eat the world's nastiest food combos and enjoy it

⛥Mikey and Raph have constant bets over who can do the dumbest shit

⛥Leo always felt quite isolated from the group at times and it always made him feel self conscious and more different from the others.

⛥I think that Mikey constantly worries about his brothers and Splinter - especially Leo.

⛥Mikey, Donnie and Raph are the type of kid to lick the backs of magic stars and then stick two together in order to eat them

⛥ Leo is terrible with directions

⛥ Donnie and Mikey believe in the 'if you don't repost this video in (however long) you will die/get bad luck

⛥ They are all heavily invested in the yellow car game and Leo is always the one to get punched the most (Mikey and Raph are very competitive)

TMNT : Mutant Mayhem X Gender Neutral Reader dating headcanons

Note(s): 2003 has me in a chokehold so I might accidentally mix their personalities, also you can probably tell who my favourite turtle is 💀

I've only seen this movie once, and I can't afford to go to the cinema again so I'm sorry that I didn't write a lot!

Leonardo

Leo basically has a full time job of trying to impress you, one time he even tried to drive a car and do tricks for you. It, unsurprisingly, went so bad that Splinter grounded him for a week.

While Splinter has always dug in that humans were dangerous and hateful, which is semi true, meeting April and you have diluted Leonardo's faith in that. He realises that you're just... People. People who make mistakes, who need to change, and who largely, have changed.

He likes learning about things you take for granted everyday, what was school like? Have you ever been to a restaurant? Do you like going outside a lot? Do you have a pet? Etc, etc.

Leo needs to try really hard in school because he's not naturally talented in science or math like Donatello, so he appreciates any help you can give him! He surprisingly likes homework, he views it like training, sort of like something to improve his skills.

He 100% searches a 'how to flirt' wikihow and gets absolutely slammed by his brothers for trying some of the worst pickup lines in history on you.

Leonardo wants to train you with self defense skills if you don't know any already, he puts on the training videos that Splinter used to learn himself and teach Leo and his brothers, so that you two can at least spend time by training together.

Raphael

Despite loving violence and fighting, he's always happy and his rage is never directed at you, he even tries to get you to let out your anger by training sometimes.

If you don't know how to fight, or don't want to learn, then he's perfectly fine with just giving you one of his sais and letting you stab a punching bag with it, or something.

Raph occasionally gets into more friendly fights and sparring matches with his brothers or classmates, he's always bragging to you about how cool he was and how awesome it was to fight.

He likes it when you initiate hugs or hand holding, it's not that he's embarrassed or doesn't want to initiate affection, or even have it at all, but Raph isn't the best at guessing what you want without outright asking. Which he does do a lot, but he feels awkward constantly asking for a hug, and he lets you know that he's always up for one.

Raphael doesn't want you in danger, but he does 100% egg you on to participate in fights and pull some chaos, even if minuscule.

Donatello

He's a complete dork and LOVES to try and impress you with knowledge on your favourite musical artists, TV shows and movies, etc, etc. Donnie gets super into anything you're into, and he even tries to subtly get you interested in things like K-pop or science, if you're not interested in them already.

Always rants about his interests, he could go on for HOURS about the hidden messages in a music video, especially when he can get out more often and speak to more people about what he likes.

He's so curious about humans and their biological functions, don't be weird not like that, he always used to watch documentaries to Splinter and his brothers confusion.

Donnie frequently imagines what life would be like without a shell, with his skin a different texture, with his ears all weird and sticking out, he constantly asks you questions about living as a human.

He adores it if you know a lot about biology, especially if you know about turtle biology, even if he and his brothers are different than regular turtles for obvious reasons.

Donnie loves holding your hand, whenever he's nervous, or if you're nervous, he likes squeezing your hand and just holding it for a while. Even if it's kind of awkward because of his three fingers.

Michelangelo

Mikey loves showing off his ninja skills to you. Oh, you're just watching a movie? Watch him do the stunt from that one scene about fifty times.

He doesn't have much of a 'taste' in movies or music, he just sort of watches whatever captures his interest. His most watched media consists of an intense crime documentary and Pingu.

Mikey loves hugging you, no matter what you're doing he just (⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠)⁠つ⁠⊂⁠(⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠) His favourite way of hugging you is from behind, because then you can do whatever you want and he isn't bothering you, but he also gets to give you a hug.

As the youngest sibling, Michelangelo loves getting you involved in pranks that involve screwing over his brothers. He will beg you, BEG YOU, to let him stand on your shoulders to place a bucket of water on top of a door, to help him dye his brothers masks the wrong colours, basically anything!

He loves making friends and would like to meet your friends and family, that is if you have any or have a good relationship with them, and if you do, he's trying to impress them so he can in turn impress you.

He also expects you to get along with his family, you don't need to constantly hang out with them, but he likes to have the knowledge that his family accepts and trusts you, he also likes to have the knowledge that you trust his family.

While not being the most perfect and strong guy, he has full respect for you and he shows it in semi unconventional ways. Mikey constantly likes to play video games with you, and while he's never been able to play the newest or most expensive, he may or may not steal a game or two just for you.

If you have a console, PC or even just a god damn phone that can handle a decent game, expect you two to play for HOURS.

What shows both his family and you that he does truly love you is when he gives you a slice of his pizza, if you're vegan or allergic to his favourite flavour, he'll order what you can eat instead of what he wants.

His brothers genuinely have a full hour of just staring in shock at you and him when that happens.

The Anime Kid [MM Donatello x Reader]

Notes: I didn't grow up in US so I have little to no knowledge about social groups in US schools, and how US schools work in general. Beware of inaccuracies.

Donatello enjoy his high school life so far, he excels in most subjects and has his own people in computer science club. (He still hangs out with his brothers in the meantime, like having lunch together in cafetaria). Life is good, everything is perfect.

Except, it's not. A little bit.

When he first got enrolled in, he expect there are clubs like Japanese club or anime club or something. But no, there isn't. Watching too much anime makes him forget the school system between US and Japan is different.

Meanwhile, you're a regular Japanese and anime enthusiast in the school. The thing is, you're a loner, so no one actually knows your love for anime since you never actually talk about it to anyone. But when you see one of the mutant turtles wearing a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure hoodie to school, you internally screaming and almost shrieking. You want to be friends with him so badly or at least just say "nice hoodie" but everytime he walked past you, no words came out as your anxiety kicks in. Every. Time.

Right now, you're alone in the music room, school already finished and you decide to refresh your mind by playing piano. You decide to play your favorite anime OST. You got lost in the melody for awhile.

What you didn't expect was the hand clapping sound after you finish the piece.

And the Jojo's hoodie mutant turtle guy at the door.

"That was aLIEz from aldnoah.zero, right? You played so good!", Donatello said.

You nod, still taken aback how he listened to you playing piano. Your facial expression makes Donnie thinks he's not welcomed.

"I'm sorry if I interrupt you, I'll leave--",

"No, wait!", you suddenly cry out, this is your chance to talk to him!

"Y-you watch aldnoah.zero?", you asked, nervously.

"Yeah! It's one of my favorite anime!", Donnie replied excitedly.

"Mine too!", you said, your anxiety suddenly gone when you finally found someone with the same anime taste as you.

"I'm Donatello, or Donnie for short", you know his name already as four mutants enrolled to school is big news to anyone.

You tell Donnie your name, and asked him if there's any particular anime OST he wants to listen in piano.

"How about Your Lie in April OST? Since you know, the mc plays piano", Donnie suggesting.

"Do you play violin, by any chance?", you asked while giggling.

"No, I don't", he replied.

You two laughed before you play Nanairo Symphony. Donnie listens while thinking this certainly would blossoms to a new friendship, he's excited there's more anime kid around, as you're glad you finally got to interact with the cool anime hoodie mutant guy.

Maybe you two would be the founders of future anime club in the school, who knows.

Don’t Flirt With My Girlfriend (Fluff)

A/N: Of course you can! I’m thinking jock Raph with his girly yet a little nerdy girlfriend. I don’t know why, but I just find it cute❤️

Warnings: Raph being jealous, and reader being oblivious to unwanted flirting, but nothing too bad❤️

Whoever said that opposite attracts, had no idea how right their words were. When they first uttered those words, they would have had no idea that such a thing as you and Raphael would ever come to happen.

You and Raphael was the stereotypical high school love story. Well… except the fact that Raph was a mutant turtle and considered a hero in the city of New York City , but that is not very important. Raph was a jock, part of Eastman High’s wrestling team, currently testing his waters in the school's American Football team, having played a few successful games. And though he might be big and strong with a quick temper, he didn’t do too well in his studies, lacking behind for quite some time. But that was how he first met you - his opposite in so many ways.

You were sweet, calm and always so happy, yet drawing very little attention to yourself. Well, at least not by sound, but quite a few had their eyes on you. Often dressing in dresses with pretty floral prints in light colors, such as pink, baby blue, light green and soft light yellow and purple, you were the stereotypical girly girl. And not only that, but you were in the same math class as Raphael, which was how you finally got to talk to him, when your teacher asked you to become his tutor.

Becoming Raph’s math tutor meant that you and jock would spend much time together, both at your place and his. And as time passed and the two of you got to know each other, neither of you could help the crush that you were developing. However, it was during this time that Raph learned something very important about you - you were not good at reading his flirting. He could send you all sorts of looks, or say all kinds of sugary sweet things, but you didn’t seem to understand what he was trying to do or say, which was a little frustrating to the young mutant. However, he decided to do his best and follow your tutoring, believing that was a way to get closer to you. When Raph later passed a math test, after you had helped him prepare, he decided to ask you out, and the rest was history.

You and Raph quickly became the couple of Eastman High that everybody knew of. No matter if it was wrestling or football, if Raph did good in his sports, he would make a show of running to you, where he would place a firm kiss to your lips, telling you how much he loved you, before running off to continue his game. That was enough to let the whole school know that you were together. That you were with Raph and that he was with you. Only a fool wouldn’t be able to understand that. Unless some poor soul hadn’t been there to see that. That is where Anker came into the picture.

Anker was an exchange student from one of the Scandinavian countries, having decided to study in the US for a year. That was how Anker found himself in the same English class as you, sitting just a few rows behind you. And it only took him a few days to develop a small crush on you, not knowing about your mutant turtle boyfriend of a jock. Which is why he decided to walk up to you after class, in the hopes of chatting you up.

As you stood by your open locker, getting a hold of the books you needed for your next class after the break, Anker came up by the locker beside you, resting against it as he began talking to you. You smiled a friendly smile to the exchange student, answering his questions as politely as possible, not noticing the way he kept eyeing you every other minute, or how people passing looked at him, as if he was crazy. If Raph saw this, he might as well count his days. But you were totally oblivious, believing that Anker was only trying to be friendly. An exchange student trying to make new friends.

“So”, Anker continued, changing the subject. “What are you doing this weekend, (Y/N)?”

“This weekend?”, you repeated deep in thought. “Well, this Saturday I’m spending time with my family, and Sunday I’ll be studying for Monday”.

“So you don’t have any plans on Friday?”, Anker asked, not noticing the mutant turtle whose eyes was piercing through him, as he walked up to the two of you at a fast pace, his gym bag almost falling off his shoulder. “Would you like to go to the cinema with me on Friday then?”

“No, sorry”, you answered, still not aware of your boyfriend as he was making his way to you. “I already got plans for Friday”.

“Plans?”, Anker asked in confusion. “With who?”

“Me!”, Raph spat at the exchange student, making the boy jump in fear. Not just by Raph’s sudden presence, but by his appearance. No one had told Anker that the mutant turtles were studying at Eastman High. Raph wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close to him, while staring daggers into Anker’s soul, his anger fuming underneath his skin. “I know what you’re trying to do, and you can quit it right now. Don’t flirt with my girlfriend, buster!”

Anker looked more than just a little unsure, before quickly making his exit, feeling Raph’s eyes burn the back of his neck all the way to the end of the hall, until he was out of sight.

“I’m sorry, Raph”, you finally said when Anker was gone, already feeling horrible. “I had no idea he was flirting with me”.

“It’s okay, babe”, Raph said, wrapping his other arm around you, hugging you tightly against him, feeling his plastron underneath his jersey. “It’s not your fault. You’ve never been good at recognizing flirting, so I don’t blame you at all. But if he tries on anything, I’ll punch his face so hard that he’ll-”.

“I don’t think that’s necessary”, you interrupted him, putting a soft hand against his cheek, feeling him lean against it. There was no doubt that having you in his life had helped Raph calm down immensely, having an easier time cooling down from his more temperamental periods. Just like now. The feeling of your warm hand against his face calming him down. “But thank you for looking out for me, Raph. Otherwise I might unknowingly have gotten myself into something dumb”.

“Anything for my girl”, Raph smiled, leaning down to press a kiss against your forehead, causing you to smile like crazy. Even you were able to understand how sweet that gesture was and what that meant. “Are you still up for our date on Friday?”

“Of course I am”, you said, wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling his face closer to yours. “I’ve been waiting ever since last Friday for another diner date”.

Raph chuckled at that statement, finding your enthusiasm adorable. “Gosh, you’re cute. Gimme a kiss, babe”.

You giggled, before standing on your toes as Raph leaned down, your lips meeting together in a sweet tender kiss before you pulled back, looking deep into each other’s eyes with bright smiles.

“Eating together at lunch?”, Raph asked.

“Of course we are”, you answered, kissing Raph one more time, before the two of you made your way towards math with your hands entwined.

He first notices something’s up with you when you become more reserved even to them, even in the littler ways.

You seemed more nervous if not completely anxious at school.

At first he thought you were having a rough few days, but the longer it went on the more concerned became.

So he confronted you.

Leo had always been protective of his siblings, you especially with both being the youngest and the only human of them. He searched for you high and low, finding you in one of the more quiter places of school. The library.

“Oh- Leo, i’m just uh.. looking at books?” You grab at a random book and open it.. upside down.

“Sure..” Leo corrected the book, sitting beside you, obviously worried. “If something’s up you can talk to me.”

You didn’t look at him, but he offered you a shoulder and accepting, you leaned on it. Sitting in silence for awhile like that.

“How did you guys do it..?”

“What do you mean?”

“…Fit in.”

“Fit- is someone doing something to you? Are they hurting you? bullying you-?”

“No no! I just.. I dont think I fit in—or that people like me—I mean you’re heroes! You saved the city and i’m just here? The turtles human sibling, You’re little sibling.”

Leo turned holding your hands in his. “You are absolutely a hero! You got all those people out of those buildings, ones superfly would’ve sent crumbling and crushing all those civilians. You might not have taken him down but you saved lives. Don’t you ever forget that.” He pulled you into a hug. One you reciprocated.

“Love you, Leo.”

“Love you to.”

Leo made sure you were never left out after that.

Raphael

He loves you all, just in his own Raph way.

Like Leo as your older brother he grew up watching you become you.

But he’d notice around the time you weren’t coming to sparing, and even when you did there isn’t a lot of effort. You don’t show up to his wrestling matches like his brothers and dad.

You were always so supportive of him and of all of your brothers for that matter.

They would search for you but couldn’t find you anywhere. It scared his brothers on occasion, including him but he’d always put on a brave face.

He becomes even more worried when you start becoming distant to all of them.

Raphael finally went to go confront you about it after a week of it.

He scoured the hallways trying to find you, you’d been leaving earlier and earlier to get to school. He left earlier to find you, alone where there weren’t a lot a of people around. Then he found you in the hallway.

And you were by yourself, holding your phone as you just.. stared.

“Hey?” Your turtle brother sat beside you, scaring you and you hide your phone.

“Hey- uh hey raph, raphael, raphala, rapha-“ he gave you a look. You both sat there for a second. Just in each other’s company before Raph spoke up.

“Listen, i’m cutting to the chase. What’s going on?”

“What- what do you mean?”

“You know what I mean, you’ve been avoiding us. Distant, Somethings going on and you can’t avoid talking about it anymore.” He looked at you with seriousness, that fighting spirit of his wasn’t going to let you get away easily.

You look away from him, phone falling from your hand, landing face up. You hadn’t been hiding it, so what did you expect. Them to not pick up on it?

“You don’t gotta tell me everything, just something so I know how to help. Kay?” Raph and emotional vulnerability were two things you didn’t see together often.

You pick up your phone and show it to him, you talk as he looks over the articles you had pulled up. All articles about them.

“I think it’s great, the articles. I’m proud. of all of you. For saving the city, and our home. Everyone celebrated you and you deserve it.”

Raphael looked at you, not knowing where this was going.

“I.. do others- They all love you and I try to talk to students and make friends, but they always ask me about you guys.”

Raph had watched you help countless humans that day, yet you let them have all the praise and credit. He hadn’t noticed why.

He’d confront you during lunch.

He had searched the library, cafeteria, and courtyard for you. Yet you just weren’t there, so he knew of only one more place to look.

There you were, he had a feeling he’d find you in your favorite teachers classroom. So he walked on in and sat at the desk closet to you. He looked at you.

“Oh! Donnie- hi. You okay..?”

“I could ask you the same thing. Are you ok?”

You sat there knowing but not at the same time what he meant.

“What do you mean? I’m fine.”

“Then why are you avoiding us? You don’t usually miss our anime binges! You’ve missed like three new episodes of anime.”

You nod, you had and didn’t realize.

“What’s going on.”

You look up at him and it all falls out, the insecurity of being around other humans, the way they make you feel, the way you try. But you just don’t fit in, not like how they do it.

Donnie looks at you and pulls you into a hug.

“Youre like Deku, you just gotta do it and don’t give up.”

He as the youngest is most likely the brother you are closest too and not just in age.

He would notice the changes and made plans to confront you.

But this is a different case, you seek out Mikey rather than him confronting you.

You and Mikey had stayed before one day at the house while everyone went out to do their own stuff. You found him in your brothers room.

He’s scribbling in a notebook, likely comping up with something for his improv club. You walk up at sat beside him.

Mikey notices immediately and put his attention on you.

“What’s up?”

“How do you know if others like you?” You pulled your legs in and rested your head on your knees. Looking at him.

“Are people being mean to you?”

“No- not really I just. I don’t think I fit in with them. Not like you guys..” You say recalling all your attempts to make friends and reach out. You felt embarrassed about that.

“If it helps we could try improving something to help you?”

“Yeah.. I’d like that.” You smiled as you both got to work.

Mutant Mayhem; Donatello / Male!Reader Word Count: 1,560 Content Warnings: swearing, maybe internalized homophobia if you squint? but that wasn't the intention as I was writing it. Summary; After a head-on collision in the hallway, Donnie meets the boy of his dreams. Now all he has to do is keep his brothers from finding out about him.

“Sooo… Leo… how’d that date with April go?”

The banter as the four of them walked home carried on as it always has, the only difference being that they finally had some new material. It’d been months since they’d integrated at Eastman high, and things were still running smooth as ever. It was perfect!

Sure, maybe not everyone was so accepting, but when the four of them were expecting screams of horror and violent brutality from the humans, they could tolerate some sour glances and rude comments.

“Mikey how many times do I have to TELL you guys, it- it wasn’t a date!”

“Uhh, you don’t have to tell us that,” Raph shot back. “We aaall heard her at Prom-”

Dialogue quickly overlapped as the three of them verbally dogpiled onto Leo, who was struggling to cut through the crosstalk.

“Well- hey, y’know– I can’t be the ONLY one who’s got a… well, a crush. C’mon! You gotta cut me some slack.”

“Even if we did,” interjected Donnie, “we’d do a waaaay better job of hiding it than you!”

Donnie now realized the irony in that sequence of events, looking back to the morning that had followed that conversation.

See, despite months of attending a crowded high school, Donnie hadn’t really taken the time to unlearn his habit of walking with his headphones on and his eyes closed. Really because it hadn’t resulted in any major tragedies up until then.

He’d walked to first period so many times he could do it backwards, but as he cracked an eye open to gauge his turn into the classroom, he realized far too late that he’d… miscalculated.

He tried to move back- to reorient himself, but the flow of movement in the hall behind him pushed him forward, and he collided hard with…

With…

Oh.

Time slowed down to a crawl as you were slammed against the locker, a moment passing as you recovered from the blow before you’d twisted around. Donnie had almost forgotten the circumstances that had led him here when he was forced against your chest instead of your back, looking up and seeing your face.

Maybe it came as no surprise that Donnie had a bit of a weakness for cute boys. His brothers hadn’t caught on yet, but if you took a scrutinizing glance at his interests, you may notice the consistency. And currently, he was literally being smushed against the cutest guy he’d ever seen in real life, much like you mash two dolls together to indicate that they’re kissing.

The awe he felt, though, was only a brief respite from the panic as he saw that your nose was bleeding.

“Ohhhh my gosh, I’m so sorry! It– it was the kid behind me, and I, My uh, my shell is making it– hard to get out, and-”

“Ugh- dude.” You grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him back a bit, causing Donnie to realize that the hall was mostly empty now.

You rubbed your head with a small wince, and were clearly about to turn and carry on with your business.

“WAIT!” You turned back, raising a brow, and Donatello tensed at the realization of how loud he’d just shouted.

“Can I at least walk you to the nurse’s office? I’m really sorry.” Wiping the blood away with your thumb (which was like, anime boy levels of hot, Donnie thought privately), you shrugged and gestured for him to follow.

He did. Naturally.

Donnie didn’t know why he and his brothers kept meeting their love interests through near major accidents, but that collision was the start of something fantastic.

He learned that day that your name was (y/n), and from then on just kept learning more and more phenomenal things about you. Another month seemed to fly by, with the two of you becoming fast friends. Not all of your interests overlapped, but as Donnie learned more of what you liked, the more it became what he liked too.

There was just one small hiccup.

Donatello… really didn’t want his brothers to find out about you. As well as he’d managed to pretend not to be crushing on you big time, his brothers were like sharks when it came to that sort of thing. If they didn’t know he liked guys before, he was convinced they’d be able to tell just by your presence - like you were blood in the water.

It was going smoothly enough so far, though. The only class you shared was Computer Science, and, well... Let's just say Donnie's brothers weren't exactly jumping at the chance to sign up for that elective.

As he left the building that day to meet his brothers in his usual spot, He found himself once again glued to his phone, takking away at your DMs.

"Ack-!" "Aah!!"

Donnie reared back from the minor bump, flushing a little as he glanced up.

"Dude, you ever gonna stop bumping into me?"

"Uhh... nah. Too much work. Not my fault you're always standing right in my way." He responded, smiling when that earned him a chuckle. "What're you doing out here anyways? Don't you usually take the bus?"

"Yeah, but I've gotta stop by the store on my way home, so I'm walking. Don't you and your brothers usually walk home together? I could tag along."

"Uh."

Fuck.

"Well. Yeahh.. We do. But, we kind of.. Live in the sewer?"

"...Yeah? I remember. I'd only walk part-ways."

"Right, well, uh... I mean-"

"DONNIE!" Raph grabbed both his shoulders from behind, startling a yelp out of him as he whipped around.

"Oh, uh-- Hey guys!"

"What gives? We've been waiting at the spot for like.." Mikey glances at his phone, "..Well, only like three minutes, but you're usually there first."

"Guys, chill out, I told you he was probably just leaving class with someone else."

"Yup mystery solved-- bye (y/n), let's go guys!!"

Wrong move. Donnie could feel he'd messed up when all three of his brothers turned their heads to him.

Blood in the water.

"Woooah, chill out bro, we're not in a rush. So you're (y/n)? I don't think we've met." Mikey turned to you.

You nodded, "In the flesh. And you're... Mikey, Raph, and Leo?" You pointed to each of them as you recalled their names. "I was just asking if I could walk with you guys."

"Hah- well- I don't think we--" "Oh, totally!" "Yeah man, feel free!"

"I'm sure Donnie would love that,"

Donnie exchanged glares with each of his brothers, huffing before pulling up a reluctant smile.

"Yeah, uh.. what they said!"

"Awesome!"

And so you tagged along as they began walking. It wasn't all bad, Donnie just had to keep his cool and remain nonchalant. Shouldn't be too hard.

"So, we still on for tonight?" You asked, bumping your shoulder against Donnie's.

"Duh- Especially since it's my turn to pick."

"I am not watching One Piece, just FYI."

"You two got a nerd date or something?" Raph interjected. Donnie frowned at him, feeling his fists ball up, but was surprised to hear you laugh easily.

"Kind of. It's a cultural exchange." With one hand gesturing as you speak, the other sneaks its way around Donnie's arm.

Kind of? It was kind of a date? and you were holding his arm??

Donnie glanced down at where you'd held onto him, before his eyes narrowed in a smug glance in Raph's direction. His brother, on the other hand, had his mouth hanging slightly open; his brows furrowed down.

Donnie ran his lip between his teeth before he adjusted his arm, sliding his hand down into yours. It felt.. right. He brushed along your knuckles, how small each of them were under his three-fingered hands- and his heart threatened to melt when you squeezed in return. The dialogue that continued between you and his brothers faded to white noise at that feeling.

"Alright, this is where I've gotta part ways. It was nice meeting you all!"

You leaned down, pressing a quick peck into Donnie's cheek.

"see you tonight!"

You were gone before Donnie could even process what'd happen, an incoherent exhale of noise escaping him as his brothers began hollering.

"WOAH WOAH WOAH. DONNIE?? IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND??" "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US??"

Donnie's brain kicked into action finally, looking away with a rub to the back of his neck.

"I ahh..... y'know, we're not really sure yet?- kind of uhh.... testing the waters and stuff..?" He lied, shooting a glance over his shoulder to assure you weren't in earshot.

"Dang, you really DO have some rizz after all!"

hes done alot of research on how he can help you release all your energy while also maintaining his personal boundaries

when youre especially loud he communicates that and if its something you cant control hell put on his headphones and text you so you know hes not ignoring you but also keeping himself from getting overstimulated

he has a little bit of a resting bitch face too so he gets that even if you look upset youre not most of the time

hes usually pretty chill and is blessed with patience when it comes to you so its harder for him to make you lose your temper, even if its short

he will train with you (he just wants you to be able to get the fight out of your system for the day usually, especially if it helps you keep your temper in check)

he also works out with you alot so youre both pretty compatible when you train as well

he loves that youre blunt because it makes it easier for him to understand what you mean when youre talking to him

he struggles a bit with sarcasm at times but hes pretty good about it because he has three brothers

even though you seem mean, he knows that youre actually super soft and sweet inside and loves to death because of it
