Does the Woodsmen have any romantic partners that save him from insanity? When he returns to civilisation?

In the canon version of events? No.

In the rps I’ve been doing with @timelord-emmet? Yes.

This Mad Woodsman went fully insane as opposed to half-insane as in canon, suffering from full blown delusions and bouts of murderous rage mixed with pyromania. And he’s a goddamn mess:

He’s been completely broken as a person, the Beast constantly goading him deeper and deeper into pure despair, turning his life into a nightmare too agonizing to endure. He would have been doomed to be Edelwooded had he not been pulled out by Timelord Emmet.

At first this Woodsman is hostile to nearly everyone, too scared to talk and in too much despair do anything besides sleep. All except for one person: Timelord Emmet’s sister, Unity. She’s always gentle with him, only ever trying to help him, taking the taming a feral cat approach with him. And despite the haze of misery he’s caught in, he recognizes that kindness. He never reacts aggressively and is always quiet and docile with her, though not always cooperating with her wishes.

It’s not until the Edelwood oil infecting his body is removed that he finally starts making progress. Though he nearly dies in the process, when he comes to, the first thing he says in full lucidity is Unity’s name.

However, when it comes to his name, he feels too ashamed to go back to his old one. He can’t be them anymore, so he doesn’t deserve that name. So he asks Unity to decide on a new name for him.

She chooses Pyre.

And he accepts it.

Going forwards, Pyre has many ups and downs in his recovery. In the beginning, he refuses to see his Emmet out of shame, fully separating himself as a person from who he used to be. He can’t be the Ingo that his brother wants him to be. That man is dead and gone. Pyre is all that’s left and he despises himself for it.

So Pyre grows close to Unity, slowly becoming best friends as he feels safest with her. In turn, she helps save him when the Beast attacks Time Central Station where he was being kept. And they continue to be close even when he’s later moved to a Space Mental Hospital to be professionally treated. It’s in the hospital where TL!Emmet and TL!Ingo help Pyre realize how much he truly loves Unity.

The day Pyre confesses his feelings?

Ingo: Our coat is just at the dry cleaners. It’s covered in blood and ash and frost… but our hat was easier to clean.

Emmet: To answer your other question… sometimes, in that other world where my brother goes in dreams, he says he “trains in the wilderness”… I think that’s doing something to our figure.

Ingo: I mean, I think I do? The dreams are… hazy.

Terrataka

Terrataka a Stakataka evo that's design is based on some terracotta lantern that my friend @timelord-emmet saw at work and thought I could come up with a fakemon design from and well they were right XD

Terrataka a Fakemon Ultra Beast that ended up in the past and never went home. A Stakataka was transported to Kanto's past and eventually evolves/adapted to its new home and now lurks near Lavender Town

I like to imagine this fakemon showing up in a Legends Game where Ultra Beast have ended up in the past and the player character/hero goes around capturing these other worldly Pokemon before they cause too much trouble and time alternating shenanigans.

Mega Froslass Evolution

I made this for a character in one of my other blogs @timelord-emmet ( it’s for a side character really) and i love it.

Info: It takes advantage of Blizzards to lure in lost hikers or unfortunate trainers who ignored or didn’t see the warnings of such a storm and actively hunts them by using their ribbon like wings as lights giving false hope to a safe haven before freezing them solid on the spot , if they freeze someone they don’t find acceptable to their collection, Mega Froslass just leaves them behind in a horrifying ice sculpture for others to find when the Blizzard is gone.

Type: Ice/Fairy

Weakness: Fire,Poison, Rick and Steel

Resistance : Ice, bug,dragon and dark

I know this is more of a rp au of an au but what would happen if Pryo-Woody meets his actual Emmet? Or did the encounter happen and he torched his brother and that made him snap completely?

or is there an Emmet smelling like crispy s'mores walking around the Unknown still looking through charred remains?

It probably would’ve ended similarly but worse. At that point, the Mad Woodsman is suffering from constant hallucinations of an enigmatically smiling figure in white. So for the hallucination to suddenly start talking to him and trying to touch him? Well, he’d take that poorly…

For better or worse, the rp doesn’t unfold that way. Instead, Time Lord Emmet is the one chased with a flaming axe which results in this absurd moment:

In the end, the Mad Woodsman almost succumbs to despair and nearly turns to Edelwood until TL!Emmet goes in and physically tears him out.

The entire time this happens, this universe’s Emmet is at home minding his own business. He was fated to never know what befell his brother until TL!Emmet brought him back into his missing brother’s life.

How things unfold from there are less than smooth, but I’ll get into more detail on that in the next question I answer.
