I wish you could see Dundrasil rebuilt. You get to rebuild Cobblestone, in one timeline Carnelian (and Jade) and Rab both talk about rebuilding their cities...

In the other timeline, Heliodor was never destroyed !

I want to rebuild Dundrasil and then go rebuild Zwaardrust so that no one has their hometown left in ruins !

//once again doing maintenance on my goddamn carrd- anyway i cleaned up my verses page and rewrote some of the blurbs to explain them better. and now i'm gonna outline the differences here:

main verse: the default verse i'll be setting interactions in, taking place after salvatore escapes victor in 1996. the most flexible in a timeline sense.

secondary verse: early vampirism salvatore, taking place between 1986 and 1988. very timeline locked, as it takes place after he's turned but before he's captured again.

tertiary verse: captive salvatore, taking place during his time trapped in victor's basement. once again, very timeline locked, as it takes place between 1989 and 1996.

vampire fight club verse: the other default verse, more explicitly set in modern day. salvatore is still around and he kicks the shit out of other vampires recreationally.

road trip verse: mostly a self-indulgent verse, but in my mind it's the quote-unquote "canon" verse. (i use that term loosely, though, and only really in reference to the version of salvatore outside of this blog.) very flexible in a timeline sense, as it exists in the same time period as the vampire fight club verse. sal lives in a van with his stupid human boyfriend.

before verse: pre-vampirism salvatore, once again also timeline locked. for the most part, threads in this verse take place between 1969 and 1986. however, maybe someday i'll write teen salvatore. as a special treat for myself.

and then the fandom verses <3 right now, there's the jjba verse, the still-in-progress tma verse, and eventually my self-indulgent ass biomutant and unsleeping city verses. and also a spiderverse verse (lol) b/c yes <3

also i am willing to be flexible with timelines for verses where i can, but only to an extent. like as an example, pre-vampirism sal will never exist in modern day. and the road trip and fight club verses truly are like... two sides of the same coin. the distinction between those two is not that important to me.

I really miss when I was running 10k nightly. There's one part of my brain telling me that I was pushing myself too hard back then but mostly running is the one coping mechanism that has always managed to get me through some really dark times and I'm not willing to lose it to a chronic illness.

#i went for a 10k instead of a 3k last night for the first timein months #and i just woke up feeling more grounded than i have in ages #it just feels like a cosmic joke that endurance training is the one type of exercise that really isn't recommended for my condition
