the halloween party was in full swing and it’s so typical of sam to show up later. it’s not really on purpose, he’s just utterly terrible at time management. he doesn’t really mean to always be behind on schedule but its always how it happens. it’s fine though, he feels he’s arriving to this party in a fashionable manner. the alice costume fitting him nicely and it wasn’t even that uncomfortable. though he could do without the long hair.

someone in a costume hands him a slip of paper as he makes it to the party but he doesn’t even register it as his eyes land on someone in the crowd of party people. a smile forming on his face and he wastes no time approaching her.  miss @lgchaeun dressed as kikiyo.

“if only i’d thought to wear my inuyasha costume, because you just shot me through the heart.” the english leaves his lips easily, an amused tone to his voice as he makes sure to be in her line of sight as he says this. head tilting a little in a cute manner as he smiles at her. not even slightly ashamed over the so cheesy pick up line he just dropped.

I’ve collected some words that I felt like sharing. A short while ago I’ve finished watching a movie - Contact. I enjoyed it a lot, Somehow it fits the chain of thoughts of these days. How many possibilities out of possibilities there are.

In time. Hidden reality. Out of your wildest dreams.

The less you know the better, they say. As long as you have no idea, I can keep you in the darkness. Where does the ‘rational’ part of a human being comes from, what does it even mean. I’m asking. Why do you need a proof? The proof of your choice. How does it make you feel, while it’s changing as we speak. Since it has always been a lie, from the start. How does it feel? Creating set of rules and limiting oneself. What kind of freedom is that? Isn’t that suffocating, numbing the existence of oneself and the potential that is left dormant within our existence. Feeding the fear based illusion. In the name of distraction. 

Checkmate. What do you focus on? I had to remind myself, that whatever I focus on grows in power. Blind panic.

(Belief, the source of power. The power in unity.)

“Wow, man! I don’t think I am going to need to eat for a week.” Nate clapped a friendly arm around Wally’s shoulder as they exited the small building that looked more like someone’s home than a restaurant. “Let me guess... you still got room for dessert?” He chuckled, knowing how large a speedsters’ appetite could be.

They were in China - a small town near where Rip had found Wally before he joined the Legends - having ‘borrowed’ a time courier to cross the large distance to get there. To be honest, though, Nate didn’t really care where they went, he was just happy to hang out with Wally like old times. Minus the kicking bad guy ass - but who knows, that might happen later.

“Alright, buddy, where to next?” Nate unwound his arm from around Wally’s shoulders and  pulled the time courier (which he wore like a watch) out from under his denim jacket sleeve, playing with the settings. “Japan? Europe?” He turned a little smirk toward the other man. “No, I know. The ice cream parlor on corner of Jackson and Main in Central. The best double choc sundaes in history...” He gave Wally a little elbow nudge, sharing a private joke. “And we should know all about that, right?”

“You can’t be timid in the thick of it, Kid. You need to be able to fight the flighty feeling and make a decision on your feet.” Christian circled Matt with a keen eye. He never wanted to think about Matt putting himself in a situation where he really needed to defend himself but he needed to know how to come out of it unscathed. “Now, presented with a way to deescalate a situation with a deadly weapon is always the first chose. Most people wielding a weapon aren’t truly committed to harming anyone unless clear signs indicate otherwise. What do you do to disarm them?” Matt pondered his question for a moment before proposing some zen and peaceful resolution. Christian wanted to praise him for his thinking but he knew that the world wouldn’t. Things may have been changing around them but criminal didn’t. They didn’t care about morality or preserving a life. Breathing in through his nose, he pivoted on his toes before pinning Matt up against the adjacent wall. His fingers ghosted over the pistol that sat in his hoister before wedging it beneath Matt’s jaw. 

“If you’re not willing to take a life or watch one being taken, you better be willing to defend it. Erratic gunmen will not be talked down from the ledge. They will kill unless you’re the better shot.” Christian shouted. “If you’re in this position how do you save your own god damn life?”
