Iris smirked to herself at Lisa’s sass. It was honestly quite refreshing to hear. Her mind wasn’t in the right place so her usual sense of humor seemed to go out the door. “Oh. I should probably get home at some point,” she shook her head. Iris was so caught up in everything that she didn’t even know what day it was sometimes. “No…just all in my head at the moment.”
Tumblr media
Lisa’s eyes narrowed slightly at Iris’ somewhat despondent reply. It seemed clear to Lisa that home was the last place Iris wanted to be. “Why don’t you come back with me? I can’t promise food because Cisco won’t be there but I have wine.”
There wasn’t really much else Lisa could offer short of shooting her gold gun at Barry’s feet and giving him a stern talking to. But honestly, that seemed like such a waste of ammo. Others could handle the scarlet speedster. Lisa would offer herself as a ‘gal pal’ for Iris to lean on. She could handle that.
Tumblr media
“Now I know you definitely are in need of a wine night. And a whine night.” Lisa stepped forward into Iris’ personal space and looped her arm around the other woman’s in order to steer her back to her place. Or rather, Cisco’s place but whatever, he had better TV. “Not taking no for an answer. I’d just kidnap you anyway.”

“Owch.” Ray smiled, “I know I’ve been absent from this time for longer than I should have been. But after the Pandora’s box incident we had a few things to clean up.” Tucking the phone back into his pocket, he settled into step beside Lisa. “I’ll try and be better at visiting Central.”
Tumblr media
“You don’t sound too sure about that?” Ray hesitated before continuing, wondering if he could push his luck a little. “You’ve seen Leonard?” His own mind had been blown when his former teammate had returned from the dead, so he could only imagine how it had affected Lisa to have her brother back. “Sort of. Things have been kind of quiet on that front recently.”
Lisa’s pout disappeared quickly, understanding how important those particular types of clean ups were. She couldn’t be mad. She chose to not pursue more heroic ventures so knew other things took a higher priority than visiting her.
“I’m not bothered if you do or don’t visit. But I’m sure there are other’s here that would benefit from knowing you’re still breathing.” She continued in her aloof tone, pretending to not care despite her mannerisms being a dead give away that she did.
Tumblr media
She was about to brush off his first question with a vague answer when Ray asked a follow up that made her pause a beat. “You mean that jerk who apparently isn’t dead?” Lisa asked rhetorically. Her brother’s return had been an emotional rollercoaster that she was still trying to wrap her head around but she was at least at the acceptance stage where she was ready to joke about it. “Should I be thanking you for that? Or worried that a giant gorilla is going to attack because him being back has broken some kind of time law or something?”

Looking up she noticed Lisa and sighed, “It’s only me. Sorry. Just haven’t been paying much attention lately,” Iris nodded and shrugged before glancing at her phone that she knew wouldn’t ring. Thankfully Cisco put the feed on her phone to the cell Barry was in so she could check on him. “Where are you off to?” she asked not wanting anyone to dwell on her.
Tumblr media
“Really? Hadn’t noticed.” The sarcasm rolled easily off Lisa’s tongue before she really took in the appearance of the woman before her. Iris looked far less put together than she normally was - not that anyone could blame the woman for being distracted given everything that was happening in her life.
Tumblr media
“Just back to my place.” Lisa’s tone softened, noticing the way Iris’ attention was drawn back to her own phone. “You waiting on a call or something?”

Walking while he talked on the phone, was never something that he did, because he knew that it would distract him too much and he would end up bumping into someone, “See that’s why I don’t walk and talk on the phone, never a good idea.”
Tumblr media
“I’m perfectly capable of multitasking, pretty boy.” Lisa sassed back, casting a critical gaze over the handsome younger man in a bored assessment. He looked like he was straight out of some catalogue - perfect face, jawline cut from marble, tall, well-built. Urgh. Nice to look at but pity he had to do that talking thing.
Tumblr media
“Besides, you bumped into me. I was going with the flow of foot traffic.”

“Oh, I’m sorry Lisa. I was trying to catch this before it smashed.” Ray held up his phone with a sheepish smile, hoping that the apology would ease the angry look in her eyes a little. “Haven’t seen you for a while. How have you been?”
Tumblr media
Lisa’s ire simmered down at realising just who it was that bumped into her. While still annoyed, Lisa found she couldn’t be too mad at the mistake Ray had made. The sheepish smile paired with the apology tamed the fire in her eyes.
“Bit hard to see me if you’re hardly ever around, Raymond.” Lisa pointed out coolly. A minor pout coming to her lips to say the lack of visits was discouraging but entirely expected.
Tumblr media
She sighed at the question, shrugging in an aloof manner. “Fine... I guess.” She was fine, if a little bored. It seemed everyone else was off doing their thing and Lisa was stuck in a rut, wondering what was her thing. But Ray didn’t need to be privy to that. “What about you? Still playing hero?”

“Can I call you back? Some jerk-faced jack ass just cut me off.” Lisa spoke into the phone, scowl on her face. Her voice elevated as she hung up the phone and confronted the rude person that had bumped into her as she was walking. “Hey! Watch where you’re going!”

“That’s quite insightful.” Camille hummed. “I mean I guess we are the ones who have the power in changing the narrative. Although, can we change it even though we don’t deserve it?”
Tumblr media
“Genomes.” She shook off the bristling patch of hope that blossomed in her chest. “The last thing I created cost me everything. I think it’s safer for me to settle.”
“Only you can decide that for yourself.” Lisa settled back in her seat, satisfied with herself that she thought she was able to help. Maybe she was. Maybe she wasn’t. Lisa couldn’t be sure but some of her advice seemed to have struck a chord.
Tumblr media
“Right,” Lisa agreed without bothering to correct herself. She wasn’t the science nerd. She didn’t have to know the right terminology. “Well, you do you. I think it’s just a shame, that’s all.”

“Definitely. He’s an old friend from Gotham - theatrics are sort of a necessity to survive there.” Pamela mused with a small chuckle. “He’s never been much interested in territory, though, just… recognition, I suppose. We shouldn’t have any more turf wars on our hands.” She assured Lisa before letting out a small sigh at her question. “I know he will.” She muttered. She didn’t really care who got hurt in Eddie’s quest for making his mark so long as it didn’t involve her. But she knew people she would rather keep in the good graces of would care. “I wouldn’t worry about it, though.” She waved off with a shake of her head. “There will be bigger problems if we don’t track down that pesky box and its inhabitants.”
Tumblr media
“Good,” Lisa said with a bit of finality, glad of Pamela’s assurance that there would be no turf wars. Not that she had much at stake as far as those went these days. “I know the likes of Amunet Black won’t give up easily. I don’t want your friend crossing her. It probably wouldn’t end well.”
Lisa couldn’t say she was surprised that Pamela’s friend would try again. That was one thing she admired about the Gotham rogues, they didn’t know the meaning of give up. However Pamela was right, there were greater things to worry about.
Tumblr media
“Is there a way to track it?” Lisa asked, still unsure if she’d help in this caper but seeing no problem in asking. “Or has the trail gone cold since the inhabitants escaped?”

Jason took a moment to catch up with the fact Lisa was putting on a show, frowning in confusion as she laughed at a joke he hadn’t made, before quickly schooling his features to look like he was thoroughly amused and impressed with himself. “I am honoured.” He responded to her words, knowing she was only teasing, but still. It’s not like Lisa wasn’t a nice girl. Not one he had ever thought of as more than a potential friend, but still, any guy would have been lucky to take her to the Ball tonight. “And whoever was supposed to be me tonight… well, just point me in his direction and he’ll be puking up slugs for a week.” He promised. “There… there might’ve been a girl I thought about asking but I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t be interested, so…” He shrugged, trying to appear unaffected by his own admission. “Didn’t think much of it, figured there’d be plenty of girls to dance with once I got here anyway.”
Tumblr media
Lisa was impressed that Jason caught onto her little act - most boys she dated weren’t that sharp. Maybe there was hope that not all Gryffindors boys were pretty to look at but had wet noodles for brains. Not that she was of that opinion. Just a number of her Slytherin housemates were.
Her face softened at his promise - touched that Jason would defend her like that. “Oh, that’s so sweet.” She cooed, putting a hand to her heart. “But I wouldn’t worry about him. I may have gotten one of the other boys in his dorm to lace his dress robes with Zonko’s Itching Powder. They were only too happy to help.” Despite her deviant words, Lisa’s tone was laced with complete innocence.
Tumblr media
“Ah ha,” Lisa crowed a little triumphantly at Jason’s admission. “Don’t give up just yet. Who is it? Come on, Jason, give me a name. How am I supposed to set you two up if I don’t know who she is?”

“Trust me, I don’t need anybody knowing this was last minute either.” Jason muttered under his breath. He knew he could have asked any number of girls, but he hadn’t been able to work up the guts to ask who he actually wanted to. Lisa showing up at the last minute needing a date had been a blessing in disguise.
Lisa made a gesture to indicate her lips were seal. If someone found out that it was last minute it wouldn’t be from her. She smiled up at him and let out a little laugh as a group of sixth year girls walked passed. “Oh Jason, you’re so funny.” Lisa leaned close to him so it would appear to the other girls that they were sharing a private joke.
Tumblr media
Once the girls were out of earshot, Lisa lowered her voice. The sweet smile she wore turned to a more knowing smirk. “So... I know you’re totally honored to be my date this evening. But who did you really have your eye on? I was honestly surprised you were dateless.”

“Can we just establish that this is not some kind of pity date, please?” Lisa gripped the arm of the person who was kind enough to escort her to the Yule Ball when her previous date bailed at the last minute. “Let’s just play it off as if this was all intentional, yeah?”

viberamon:
Looking up he noticed Lisa right away. Of course he knew who she was, who wouldn’t honestly. Ok maybe it was just him but he couldn’t help it. “It’s Cisco…” he paused as he shifted a little in his casual clothes he had thrown on so his school attire wouldn’t get all dirty. “Decided to make a detour through the Quidditch pitch?”
Tumblr media
Glancing at his broom, he nodded. “Um…yeah. I saved up a lot of Galleons for this thing. My parents wanted nothing of the sort so I had to find clever ways to earn some money.”
“Right, that’s what I said.” Lisa replied in a flippant manner, eyes traveling over his casual attire. “No,” she answered rather quickly, returning her gaze to meet Cisco’s. “I mean, yes... I’m here. I just thought it was Slytherin’s turn on the pitch. Every Tuesday afternoon. At least it was last year. I used to date the Captain - for like, three months - and then he graduated... so I guess the schedule’s changed, huh?”
Lisa scoffed when Cisco mentioned his parents, rolling her eyes in a dramatic fashion. “Parents are the worst.” She sighed, sounding sympathetic. “My Dad won’t let me go for my apparition license even though I can do it. Like I’m not seventeen yet but Denmark doesn’t have a legal age limit. Why do we?”
Tumblr media
“Sorry, you were saying you found clever ways to get money. You didn’t do something illegal did you? You’re not like in some sort of scandalous potion ring? Cause trust me, those never work out.”

Lugging around his broom, Cisco made his way towards the Quidditch pitch for some practice and to just clear his mind from the day. Walking through the curtains, Cisco stopped and stepped back a little. “Oh…I am so sorry. I didn’t know the pitch was being used today.”
Tumblr media
Lisa was just heading back up to the castle after spending her afternoon by the lake, carrying her shoes and stockings in her hand. It wasn’t really advisable to put shoes back on wet feet, after all. She was minding her own business, humming a little song in her head, so lost in her own world that she hadn’t realised that she detoured toward the Quidditch pitch until she bumped into the slightly shorter Hufflepuff.
“That’s okay, Costco.” Lisa replied sweetly, tucking her light brown curls back behind her ear. She had seen the younger Hufflepuff around but had never quite remembered his name. “I was just heading back to the castle anyway.”
Tumblr media
“Nice broom,” her eyes looked over to the handle of the broomstick he held. “Is it new?”

Name: Lisa Snart House: Slytherin Year: 6th Year Pet: No Pet Wand: Phoenix wing feather || Firm || Apperation || 8 inches || Fir Other: N/A
Lewis Snart is an Auror at the Ministry of Magic who is as crooked as they come. He abuses his authority to carry out Grindelwald’s agenda and then, after Grindelwald fell, claimed he had been under the Imperius Curse all along. The Ministry believed him, after all, no one could prove otherwise and those that could were dead. He is flying under the radar at the moment but it won’t be long and his true colours will show again.
Now Lisa Snart, on the other hand, has no idea about her father’s corruption nor does she care so long as they live the comfortable life that she’s used to. She is product of Lewis’ second marriage (which had been a scandal in itself), the youngest of the Snart children and only daughter.
Lisa is the baby princess and has been treated as such her whole life. Never wanting for anything and told she could be whatever she wanted to be. At present, she wants to be a famous singer. She can’t carry a tune all that well but there is no telling her she can’t make it in the music industry. She’d just claim you’re jealous.
Hogwarts is just a big popularity contest to Lisa and it’s a game she believes she’s winning. Most other students appear to like her... to her face, at least. But truth be told, a lot of them probably hate the fact she is a true fence sitter in the oncoming war.

Not the first time she’d responded in kind to him, Mick shook his head at Lisa once again. “Yeah, you’d think with all those gadgets and science things they’d invest in a padlock. Or a gun turret, something.” On to more important matters, the pizza they were scamming off of Cisco. “I’m not picky, just as long as it’s got lots of cheese.” Pretty clearly she didn’t care what his opinion was on whatever was going on with Cisco, typical for her but he also couldn’t blame her for that. It’s not like he let anyone tell him what to do either.
Tumblr media
“Mardon. Haven’t heard that name in a bit now.” He snickered at the thought of her rebuke. “Politely, huh? Who’s definition?” It was a definitely change from the Lisa Snart of old though, to turn down a bank robbery, and if Mick was being truthful, it impressed him. As she turned it around on him, Mick offered a shrug of his own. “Nah, not done saving the universe just yet. You’d be surprised how often it needs to be done.”
Her interest sparked up at the mention of a gun turret. “You mean something like an industrial size version of my gold gun?” Lisa was gleeful at the idea of making intruders sparkle in the sunlight as they were shot with the precious metal. As well behaved as she had been in the last few years, Lisa still had a destructive side. “Or a cold gun? No... wait, flamethrower.”
She ordered the pizzas, huffing a little when the app on her phone said it would take twenty minutes. Patience was not Lisa’s strong suit.
“The guy was going on about how powerful he was with his pocket size tornadoes and how Hartley broke him out of prison. I got bored. Can’t blame a girl for wanting out of the conversation.” Lisa sighed dramatically, making it sound like putting up with Mark Mardon was a chore.
Tumblr media
Lisa pouted a little in response but quickly covered it. “Actually, it doesn’t surprise me the universe still needs saving.” She replied. “What does surprise me is the fact you’re still doing it. Something on that ship holding your attention? Or is it someone?”
