I caved and made a Voltron OC. She has like… the most lore/story of any oc ive made this far… 2016 me would be happy.

ANYWAY here’s Kat!

Quick Bio:

- Katarina “Kat” Moreau

- 19 (Season 1) , 20 (Season 6)

- French American (Human)

- Mechanic at the Galaxy Garrison

- Lance is her childhood best friend

When Kat was 10, her and her mother were in a car accident. Kat lost her mom, and her right leg has permanent nerve damage causing her random bouts of pain making her either limp or unable to walk. Since she is short thou, its very easy to carry her around.

She has a Dad and Two older brothers who are all very well known Mechanics in the mechanical field in the Garrison. They were happy when Kat said she wanted to join “The family business” as they call it.

During episode 1, she ran into Lance and Hunk while she was coming back from the kitchen for a late night snack and decided to join them. Since she isn’t a paladin, she uses her Mechanic knowledge to help Allura and Coran fixing things around the castle. Althou, it’s very odd that she can actually hear the lions talking instead of how they normally communicate to the others. Althou it is funny watching her talk to the lions and it basically looks like she’s having a one sided conversation with herself.

During season 3, she was examining a small space gem that the paladins found on one of their missions, trying to figure out what it can do and examining what seems like cosmic energy. Due to a sudden attack on the castle, she ended up accidentally impailing her arm on the gem. But instead of it harming her, it absorbed itself into her body, rewriting her dna and basically turning her into a walking mood ring. Shes still trying to figure her new ‘power’ out and unlocking more of what she’s capeable of.

Later in the series, that weird space gem turned out to be a piece of the same comet the lions were made from.

Her eyes and hair end up exposing her emotions, so she can’t keep them hidden even with keeping a poker face.

The colors & moods are:

- Normal/relaxed: White

- Angry: Red

- Sad: Blue

- Yellow: Joy

- Green: Suprise

- Black: Pure Rage

- Pink: Embarassment/Love

I love my brother.

I'm sitting at the table, alternating between eating lunch, taking a sip of my coffee, and re-reading a favorite AVA fanfiction.

Keegan walks in and plops down on a seat next to me. He starts explaining, in a dejected, saddened tone, about how he stepped in dog droppings outside in the back yard and had to clean his shoes in the large downstairs sink.

He's upset and sad because now his shoes are sopping wet, and he can't go back outside.

When I suggested speeding up the process of drying out the shoes using a hair dryer, he shrugs. Keegan doesn't really even want to go back outside since the opportunity to soil his shoes again in the same manner remains a looming possibility.

And he proclaims that there isn't really anything fun to do out there anyway. So I ask him if he wanted to go draw a picture.

And the WAY his face LIT UP.

He gives me the most adorable, toothy grin in the history of ever, straightened up immediately and got out of his seat, where he'll likely go grab a paper from the stacks we have in the nook. But before he leaves me alone to claim his blank slate for future art, Keegan is quick to ask me if I want him to draw anything specific.

Stunned briefly, I slowly reply, "Well... I mean, if you're taking requests... uhm, Second and Chosen hugging?"

And he's off like a rocket, myself now alone in the dining room.

Though, not for long.

Keegan doesn't just stay in the nook to draw, he COMES BACK and sits right next to me around the corner of the table from where I'm seated, sitting down and getting right to work on his newest sketch.

That's his primary love language, I think.

Giving gifts to others.

I can see it in his face, the way he brightens and comes alive when he's giving someone a gift. He relishes in the reaction of the one he's gifting, and he only grins a certain way as he watches the person's face when the giftee claims the item.

He's still drawing happily as I'm writing all this out. So cute~

Anon! It's like you know me! Have you been peeking into my WIPs???

My plan has always been for this to be a five part series. The first three fics are Kevin telling us the main story of how they get together. The next fic, though, is definitely Jeremy and Jean's to own.

After we officially earn the kerejean stamp, I want to go back and show certain scenes through J/J's eyes. There are things to explain, and new scenes/moments between the three to unveil that I think help flesh out their characters in this universe, and round out the relationship so that you understand why certain choices were made.

(Plus then we all get to wallow in the angst and pining again so...why not, right?)

There may be additional oneshots or ideas that I've been tossing around too - it all depends on whether I have enough time and motivation to get to them. I really love this au, though, so I'm hopeful inspiration will carry me through. We'll see, I guess.
