Just perfect imo
as always bdg has just the BEST singing voice and he was the PERFECT fit for the role.
The animation in that song was just fucking fabulous and it was so perfect
no clue why winter king looks so much like ice prince tho
ok so what was up with ice marceline?? the way its framed makes me think she's trapped there??? also i initially thought that she was just being... preserved?? even though she wouldn't look like that. But her melting shows just how hypocritical winter king is after he explicitly says remaking betty would be unethical.
Though what is up with winter king and betty??? like why diddnt he care about her at all??
Also where are the fin and jakes of that world??
I GOT TOTALLY DISTRACTED FROM GARRY AND MARSHAL-LEE IUGTHEGGEGY

honestly episode 5 was amazing and then episode 6 was UHI(*UYHGUGOOYISRIHGSPYOGHUIGSHJIGISYIUH SO FUCKING GOOD AHHHHH
eleven is fascinating to me because he came right off the back of tens horrible traumatic breakdown after he lost everything and he immediately tried to establish himself as the opposite of that. he is funny and goofy and almost childlike, and he bulldozes on in his adventures with amy like nothing happened at all. but then something happens and his masks slips and it's like oh! the core of this man is still anger. he is so so angry all of the time and this façade is the only thing stopping him from being consumed by it. he isn't over any of it and he hasn't moved on. he is wearing a fez and laughing but under that all that exists is age old anger and grief and it is going to consume him
The Vestiges of Divergence. In the Great Calamity, these weapons of war were created to strike down the gods themselves. Believed too powerful for mere mortals to wield, the vestiges were scattered across the lands. Buried, lost, forgotten. Or perhaps... waiting to be found. The Deathwalker's Ward is one such vestige.
For this little kid, who’s not only non-verbal but also has broken horns, to come up to Fizz and communicate how much they love and look up to him and how much Fizz inspires them, it’s a reminder of why Fizz loves performing. It’s about the audience. All of the different types of people in the audience. Impacting them and giving them an experience they’ll never forget.
Fizz used to be that audience. He was that little kid who was inspired to pursue performing and now he gets to inspire kids too. And he especially gets to inspire those kids who are just like him.
He might’ve been a teenager when he was injured, but that doesn’t change the impact Fizz has on people as a disabled person who is still able to live his life how he wants it.
Like he said last episode, he’s not broken. He has his prosthetic limbs, he has Ozzie, someone who loves him, and a thriving career.
So having this little kid with a disability and the same broken horns as Fizz, it truly shows how impactful Fizz as a disabled performer is.
This kid is inspired that someone who has a disability like them is able to live out their dream. Fizz is a reminder that they too can achieve their dream of performing no matter what.
And the fact Fizz was able to communicate with this little kid, you can see that meant everything. The way their eyes light up each time Fizz responds is truly incredible.
Fizz is able to be the role model for this kid that Mammon should’ve been for him.
Not to mention that Fizz’s own broken horns aren’t known to the public, this little kid doesn’t know Fizz also looks like them in this regard, Fizz hides his horns under his jester hat so he looks “perfect”, but this kid’s broken horns are out and proud. This kid is not ashamed, and Fizz shouldn’t be either.
This is part of who they are and we see Fizz embrace every part of himself during his final performance when he rips apart his clothes to show off his prosthetic arms and scarred body.
And that thank you to this kid that Fizz gives them, it’s not only a thank you for being part of the audience, it’s a thank you for reminding him why he loves performing and that they inspired him too.
Fizz sees himself in this little kid just as this little kid sees themself in Fizz and I think that’s beautiful.
This is the best day ofbf my life I’m still emotional about “Marky” and “first you gotta fix that tie” and just everyhtign but also WHYA RE THEY ON THE TITANIC HELLO?
Rewatching the earlier, and even pilots episodes, of Ninjago are so WILD man. First of all, you notice all the things that are just plain forgotten about or pushed aside in later seasons. Kai originally being the main character, sure, we all know that one, but Cole was heavily implied to be, or become, the leader of the Ninja, that was Cole’s thing. Zane was automatically described with having a sixth seer sense, when nowadays it shows up very, very infrequently. Lloyd used to basically be the Avatar, does anyone remember that? This kid was just the Avatar.
And then you remember the silly things. Like how the skeleton army was once a threat. Like...the skeletons. We battled a giant snake, smaller snakes, robot armies, sentient video games, Garmadon a billion different times, the Overlord, Oni...and the skeletons used to be a worthy adversary. The skeletons.
Did you all remember that Cole’s earth dragon used to...breathe earth? I’ve been forced to remember. Rocky used to breathe earth as a form of attack. It was shown through brown swirly wisps in that beautiful, incredibly shitty 2011 effect. The Underworld used to be implied to be the place where all dead people went, or at least the bad ones. We never heard of a Departed Realm. Do we remember the time Cole had a scene that was a direct parody of Michael Jackson? I sure do. Genuinely the highlight simply because I don’t know how to describe the emotion I felt upon seeing it.
Don't watch then? If you're going to be disappointed no matter what then don't watch
I think some people don't realize that Helluva and Hazbin are capable of good writing, that they are capable of amazing animation, good songs, and ideas. They HAVE that stuff, they've done it before, and continue to do it, not as often as before, but there are diamonds in the rough.
It's the execution and vast changes in direction that fall flat, that are not good because the direction is lost, interactions become contradictory, the story doesn't seem as complex... and from a fandom standpoint, a lot of people within a fandom write fics, comics, or draw art based off things they wanted to see more of in the show. AUs to twist a direction, explore different arcs, expand a character, showcase a potential relationship- all of which the show did not. Whether a show is super good or terribly horrible, out of hype or spite, it is still an inspiration.
