I feel like debating who Loki was talking to when he said "For You" in the last episode, is missing the point of the scene. And people referring to it as "cowardly" and a "no-homo" moment is just?? Baffling to me tbh because like;

First of all, it is obviously intended to be to both of them? If they only wanted to make it about Sylvie, Mobius wouldn't be there. If they only wanted to make it about Mobius, Sylvie wouldn't be there. If they wanted to make it about everyone they would've just framed it more equally, he does do it for all his friends ("for all of us"), but they have that scene to highlight these two specific relationships. The framing is quite clear, they have him take a last look at all of his friends before going down the stairs, but Mobius and Sylvie runs after him to have a final significant moment.

Which absolutely makes sense and is consistent with the show we have seen so far, s1 and s2 combined, which is what I love about it. And it was to be honest a surprise! Going into this season, I had little hope for Loki/Mobius interactions, just didn't want to expect too much since S1 had a lot of their connection, but that could've been it. I was shocked when s2ep1 was full to the brim with Loki and Mobius scenes? And then they kept reinforcing every week that they care about each other, is a funny duo to watch, and are important to one another.

And despite this, I expected the rug to at some point be pulled, especially compared to Loki's relationship to Sylvie. No matter people's personal viewing on the show, she is still cited as a love interest by showrunners and is just portrayed as that by the narrative a lot of the time. Sidelining that, even in s2 when the romantic hints are more vague, she's still a very important person in Loki's life. She played a central part of the plot and Loki's own character development of understanding himself.

So to me, I was surprised seeing Mobius and Sylvie side by side in the end. Both being framed as The important people in Loki's life. Then, however you wanna see in what ways they are important is up to you, but they are the people he keeps coming back to for advice and self-reflection. You can frame it as "oh it should've been only been Mobius and they added Sylvie to downplay it", which, I just disagree with (If they wanted to go for explicitly canon Lokius they needed to set that up even more earlier in the season but that's a post for another day). Sylvie is still like, a constant in the narrative and driving force of s1, even if s2 changes things around a bit, and imo it would be inconsistent if she just vanished here. I guess I am used to media that downplays a meaningful dynamic between two dudes in more aggressive ways, which they absolutely could've done, and would've taken me out of the story to be honest... but they didn't, Mobius and Sylvie got to be side by side in the end and that imo validated the Loki/Mobius dynamic way more than downplays it.

TLDR; The "For you" was for both Mobius and Sylvie because why would you frame it that way otherwise, and having them side by side like that validates Lokius way more than downplays it in a "no-homo" way considering the full context of the show.

thinking about the irken tfa characters i made its so fucked up that i like completely forgot that whole thing even happened i wish i could i wanna remember what was going thru my head

#i already made a fool of myself sharing the mlp starscream i cant share iz starscream i will die #but i do want to redraw him... and the other seekers...#i made irken versions of other character too mainly cons (exception is the jettwins) but its a little hard to figure out whos who #cuz i was not creative with pre-existing character design #theres skywarp and thundercracker i remember that cuz i looved the trine but that wasnt exactly a thing w tfa?#theres also soundwave + blitzwing and i think i included just 2 random normal iz ocs for soem reason #but i guess they could conveniently be some sort of weird megatron and blackarachnia replacement..?#there was also another seeker irken (or two? the antennae look too similar so idk if theyre supposed to be separate or not)#but i genuinely have no clue who tf it could be. sunstorm/thrust probably #the only reason i know they were supposed to be other seekers is they have the lil antennae dots i gave starscream n the other 2 #which. is a feature exclusive to them i gave up on antennae design for everyone else they mostly just have the generic male ones #maybe with intended differences but the arts so sloppy it can all be interpreted as the same thing #anyways question is if i do make the redesigns do i post them here or my iz blog #question to no one in particular i feel like everybody sees the wall of tags on the 1-sentence post and decide not to read all that

(About your proship/anti post) tbh it's kinda both sides that don't think critically, but I think the "anti" side is worse about it? Proshippers are usually obnoxious online, but some/most of their views are at least informed by research and studies, whereas a lot of (not all) antis say stuff like "if you put these barbie dolls in this specific situation you are automatically excusing and/or directly causing pedoincest abuse to happen, also if you are a survivor I'm gonna have a savior conplex and demand you find a 'better' coping mechanism. I know better because I'm 15 and take AP psych classes"

Both sides suck overall and the discourse is stupid, but I'd say the "viewing/creating problematic fictional work doesn't automatically brainwash you or define/express your morals or make you a bad person" makes a lot more sense than "liking problematic media makes you an abuser or complicit, and even if someone bypasses all warnings or invades a space they shouldn't be in, it's your fault if they react badly to it. Censor all stuff I dislike now"

Also most "proship" people wouldn't even be doing discourse in the first place, if they weren't getting harassed, doxxed, having to publicly lay out their trauma (if they have any), etc by the anti side over cartoons and video games and books. Abusing/harming real people over fictional content to (not even) prevent hypothetical abuse/harm is, objectively, worse than reacting to said abuse in ways that are annoying or obnoxious, especially when the typically more abusive side has such weird takes that...really don't involve much critical thinking At All, past maybe middle-school-level media literacy

I dont think its that simple tbh. I mean I occupy circles of tumblr that do bat hard against ideas that writing fiction about "problematic" subjects is not inherently harmful (which is true!) but I dont think that belief alone shows a level of "media literacy" whatever you think it means and I don't think implying that people who think differently to you just aren't as educated is really a useful way to engage in discourse. I also don't believe that proshippers who simply yell about intellectualism, critical thinking and media literacy actually do care about those things when someone is critical of their interests for a valid reason (e.g. misogyny).

I think there are probably a lot of proud antis who would say theyve been doxxed and harassed too. You use the example of a particularly combative 15 year old, meanwhile teenagers who do in fact express those views, which may not be ones they hold once they've grown a little, have been harassed by people on the internet who are much older who believe they are justified in their actions for the sake of preserving fandom.

You also imply that the views of proshippers aren't as harmful and simply react to being harassed but this untrue. Proud proshippers often harass people of colour for speaking out against fandom racism, viewing them as aggressive outsiders who disrespect the (white) culture in fandom spaces. The pro/anti divide isnt that simple bc a lot of people of colour get depicted as antis for criticising fandom behaviours which, in these proshippers minds, further justifies their abuse.

Overall, I think a lot of proshipper views don't start and end with writing any fiction is fine because its fiction (even tho thats the main view which i agree with), theres a lot of believing of the preservation of fandom culture on that side, which has always been one way of course, until the "puriteens" showed up which is silly and it just as easily leads to harassment as antis beliefs can do and can end up leading to misogynistic and racist beliefs too. Always believing you're the victim in a scenario (say you're a proshipper thinking you're up against a wave of antis) can often make you believe that any action you take is justified which can lead to you harassing and abusing people and claiming youre defending yourself before theyve harmed you. As long as you feel you're being harassed, as proshippers often claim they do over anything that disagrees with their views, its fine for you to attack. Proshippers can be just as abusive online as much as anyone can.

[Black Garden] The Young Wolf begins to hear whispers around Darkness-infected areas after the Black Garden, confides in no one and brushes it off when Ghost asks. The effects begin fading away, pushed out of memory, before the Red War hits and it is amplified until they get their Light back.

[?] Osiris and Drifter meet about the Sundial, where Osiris tells him he should meet the Guardian. [Encounter intro] [Original lore: The Sundial]

[Forsaken] Petra sees The Young Wolf holding the gun after Sundance bursts, Cayde does not get a chance to tell her. He falls into a coma after throwing Petra out of the way of an attack from a Baron, and is presumed dead by Wolf. The Young Wolf is exiled, under the belief that they had attempted to murder Cayde. Before Petra and Wolf race to get to Uldren, Ghost receives and ignores a message from Ikora, asking for their side of the story. Later, Wolf gets to Uldren first, and kills the Prince.

[?] Drifter has an impromptu meeting with Shin, where, similarly to Osiris, he is told to meet with Wolf—For different reasons. [Do They Know?]

[Beyond Light] The Exo Stranger takes up teaching the Young Wolf how to control Stasis, in an attempt to help them tame the hallucinations from the Black Garden. Elsie found out because she began keeping a closer eye on them after a vague warning from Drifter about keeping an eye on them. Later, Wolf takes up hunting Eramis.

[Pre-Defeat of Eramis, Post-Wolf getting Stasis] Cayde finally wakes from his coma. Shiro acts as a bodyguard, making sure Cayde doesn’t do anything to get himself into trouble for a few weeks.

[Hunt] Starts after Wolf has already taken out the first of Eramis’ Lieutenants. Crow multitasks hunting the Wrathborn and prying for information on what happened to Wolf and why they killed Uldren from Spider back in the Shore. Wolf, unknown to him, stalks Crow to find out more about their replacement, between receiving more information on Eramis’ forces. Shiro assists Crow's Wrathborn hunts while attempting to track the Young Wolf after hearing word of sightings of them, unable to pin down their purpose for switching between Europa and the Shore.

[Chosen] Wolf crashes some Rites of Proving, proceeds as usual (?)

[Splicer] The Young Wolf, learning of Lakshmi's plan to invite the Vex inside the City with the intent of getting rid of House Light, sneaks into the City and publicly executes her - both to stop her before it's too late, and to take the heat off of the Eliksni's backs. [Bury Me Shallow, chp2]

[Lost] Now desperate for information on Wolf, and determined to find out what happened, Crow and Cayde attempt to consult Savathun in-between saving Mara's Techuens.

[post-reclaiming Uldren’s memories] Cayde and Crow, under Mara's request, try to find the Young Wolf. Cayde, unable to leave, is stuck playing intel. Crow, deep in abandoned ruins that were already difficult to get through, finds them and is warned against trusting the Vanguard not to turn on him. [One Mirror, Two Reflections, chp1: Warning A Replacement]

[Witch Queen]

[Risen]

[Haunted] Wolf’s Nightmare is the Speaker, who taunts them for letting the Vanguard take their chance at life and for being too weak to stop it. Crow is the only support they have through it (?), and without the connection through the Harvester. The Nightmare of Safiyah taunts Zavala with failing both Hakim and Wolf, pointing out he’s fucked over both of his children now. Cayde’s Nightmare is Sundance, who taunts him about failing Andal, her, and Wolf. Calus is not repelled (?), but the Witness still drags his consciousness from the Leviathan for Lightfall.

[?] A fireteam catches wind of the Young Wolf’s whereabouts potentially being on the Leviathan, and are assigned to check out the validity of the report. [Impromptu Arsenal Check]

[?] Cayde and Wolf see each other in person again for the first time since the prison. [A Lot of Firsts]

[Lightfall] (Crow and Wolf train together under Osiris in using Strand.)

[?] Crow, Saint, and Osiris wear down Zavala, trying to advise him to unexile Wolf, as the Coalition is spread too thin. Empress Caiatl, despite having heard much of the story from Saladin and Zavala’s points of view, makes the final nail in the coffin in a private meeting. If she can see past Calus and his crimes and turn to protect her people; if Saint can see past the Fallen to protect the Eliksni and the City; if Zavala can see past Ghaul and trust her with his own— Then he can see past the Prison and take the risk. He talks Ikora into allowing him to unexile the Young Wolf.

[?] After some time, Crow finally convinces Wolf to take the opportunity to see the City again, and they are brought out of exile. [A Day In Town]

Summary: you'd met him in the Garden of Eden between Lilith and Eves creation. The new human had taken a fondness for you.

The air in the garden was warm, a comfortable warm, when was it not? You'd come to visit the human god had created for only the second time, you were simply there to keep him company for the short while.

As you walked through the angelic(pun intended) garden, in search of the human, you came to a pause. You stood straight, looking around, puzzled as of to where the hell he had gone- it's one garden, where could he have possibly wandered off to?

You sighed at the silence, nothing but the beautiful songs of birds and the rustles of the leaves in the gentle breeze. It was.. nice. It felt more colorful than heaven. All of the vivid colors seemed not to follow any set of rules, any specific strict palettes. It was.. natural. Beautiful. You felt out of place in your brightly colored white robes and golden wings. Among so many unique and gorgeous things and here you stood with NO fashion.

You were snapped from your thoughts as you heard a splash, your head snapping in the direction it had emmited from. Surely it was Adam- well. No. He wasnt the only thing in this god damn garden but-

You sighed softly as you made your way forward, coming to a clearing where a large pond lay, Adam sat comfortably at the shore of it, watching the creatures he'd oh so proudly named ducks paddle through it. As he heard you approach, he excitedly turned his head towards you with an eager smile, only for his expression to soften in some kind of disappointment when he saw you.

You waved awkwardly before sitting beside the human, you wanted to pretend to watch the ducks, but your eyes couldn't help but stay fixed on Adam. In the strong silence, he finally spoke,

"Will i get a new wife?" He asked dryly, staring towards the lake, but his voice was laced with a subtle sorrow.

You frowned softly, followed by a gentle nod, "soon, Adam." You assured, tilting your head to properly face the human, "what are we doing today, Adam?" You smiled in an attempt to ease the tension, trying to cheer the man up.

He peered to you softly once more, raising his brows, in thought. You watched, taking note of his features, how soft yet sharp they were. How endearing, how fascinating. A human. The fi-

"I was thinking," Adam began, ripping you from your thoughts once more. You raised your brows almost mockingly. Adam? A human? Thinking? How revolutionary.

He furrowed his brows softly as he took note of your rather telling sarcastic expression, snickering softly to himself, "dont look at me like that-" he groaned, sighing and leaning back on his hands.

You smiled, trying to imitate Adams posture as you too sat back on your hands. Nodding softly to Adam in acknowledgment, "Okay,, well what were you thinking, Adam?" You questioned, looking to the human.

He smiled excitedly, obviously happy to share any and all thoughts with someone who could- well- reply to them. He couldn't deny his own loneliness. He was,, pathetic.

"Okay okay, well i was thinking of a name for y-" he started, only for you to interrupt him, furrowing your brows slightly.

"Adam, we've discussed this. I already HAVE a name i don't need-" you objected, only for Adam to put a gentle finger against your lips to shush you before he continued,

"A friend name! Just for us?" He pleaded, pouting his lip playfully, to which you groaned in irritation. You couldnt deny the soft spot you'd already grown towards the human. It was rather embarrassing actually.

"Okay. Just for us." You repeated, sighing deeply and nodding to Adam, the mans face lighting up instantly, leaning forward.

"OKAY OKAY-" he began, you couldn't help but roll your eyes already, peering off to the side as if youd found something more interesting to look at.

"So what about.."
