combining some endings with a slash as I believe they serve equal narrative purpose. Feel free to elaborate which should go first or be omitted in the tags/comments if you would like :) I omitted the coffin ending as it’s not really an “ending” so much as it is a fail state for the true end

#zero escape #999 #9 hours 9 persons 9 doors #999 spoilers #ze 999 #this poll was originally gonna be ‘best door order playthru’ but that is WAY too long to put as choices #and it essentially asks what this is asking anyway #my choice is sub->knife->axe->safe->true #I could see an argument to wedge the coffin ending in before the safe ending and returning to true #if only for Santa’s ‘time to make a wish come true’ line be more at the front of the players mind #but that’s meh reasoning at best #I love the axe ending but I also like sub->safe->true and just dismissing the other endings #I think sub is so important to play thru ESPECIALLY get first because I think it sets the tone in its ending so so well #especially if you get the sub ending by choosing door 3 instead of 7/8 and then 2 #it very quickly and clearly shows off the protags cleverness and manipulation skills which come back again in the safe end #and then the ending itself being an Everyone Dies ending raises the stakes so much for ur next play thru #yes people die in other endings but this is EVERYONE #I personally think it’s good for tone #I really dislike the idea of people getting the safe ending first too #it reveals its hand SO early if you do - the antagonist of previous endings is just revealed #so if you get the knife or sub ending after the safe ending I think it ruins so much mystery #and I think a lot of scenes with Ace before the Safe ending are better when you don’t suspect him and see him as his Lame Dad persona #when u get Safe first and then keep playing with him after…idk u can still enjoy Lame Dad Ace but I think the betrayal hits harder #when u get Safe later after thinking u know about Ace outside of just the 6 door #but hey these are all my opinions - can’t wait to hear what others say :)#poll

maybe controversial??? i guess???? but I very much dislike how Yato still calls her Nora, which is something Hiiro has said multiple times that she despises being called. Like she's always made sure to call him Yato instead of Yaboku because she knows he hates that name. And yet Yato can't reciprocate that with her even here. It's just disappointing to me especially since this is supposed to be a moment where he tries to protect her :/

This may be a good and normal thing but I have absolutely zero regrets about having purchased the laptop last night. Like all day yesterday and even as I was buying I was going oh god should I should I not but now I’m not even having second thoughts about the huge display lmao

#SO FUCKING GLAD that I actually did some extra research rather than just going meh the one I looked at before is probably better #I think it was a SIGN that I got paid a little early for the month’s work and then like the day after the laptop I bought went on sale #(Didn’t actually pay immediately so I didn’t USE any of that money but that is besides the point)#Only with the reservation of man… it’s big… and heavy… and REALLY huge and that’s bad…#I HAD deep down been going ‘man if only there was a bigger laptop with the same specs as the one I wanna buy’#And then!!! This baby pops up!! With a big display and BETTER specs!!!!!!!!#Cannot begin to express my excitement at playing Real People Games like that hasn’t even been a POSSIBILITY #Stray is at the top of my list right next to ranch of rivershine #And also probably Elden Ring that shit looks NEAT #(Also yes there is a catch and a reason this one is cheaper even though it’s better! The one I was planning on getting had an OLED display #This one’s just a normal good old LCD display. But in all honesty that is ABSOLUTELY a sacrifice I’m willing to make lol)#z talks #not horse game #Also the fact it’s not currently in stock so I’ll be waiting almost 3 weeks for it also very much feels like a good thing #Like. I have a Date on which I can expect to Receive It. And that means I have a very set time frame for the stuff I want to do to prepare #(mainly organise my cloud storage to make sure everything’s where it should be)#(but that’s a bigger problem than it might sound like because I have a LOT of files)

i feel bad about this but i didn't really like the new pjo so far :/

#i like the actors!!#i just think the pacing was off #and the set felt like super empty? as in like very little decorations. no actual clutter in the hermes cabin... generally very little like #background clutter? theres no stuff :/ feels almost clinical at times but definitely like not lived in yknow?#also whyd they change the good scenes.#it felt like a whole lot of meh #i will continue bc i like the characters and i get that i am not a kid ergo the intended audience #but it feels empty in the same way the early lego games feel empty now #like not much love was put in the set design

It’s hard to make music when you have no instruments or software or skills or talent and also you don’t actually know how to play anything or make music and you’re dumb as hell

#hey it’s about that time of year where I get the urge again to try and make music before getting frustrated and quitting #don’t let your inability to do anything right get in the way of messing everything up forever and ever amen #every time I sit down to try and set up software and whatnot I end up wasting half a dozen hours before giving up #repeat once or twice every year or so for the last decade #how did I used to do this junk??? whaaaaa? I don’t understand computers.#I have an ooooold laptop buried in a box someone with sooo many unfinished songs. albums and albums worth. mostly just missing vocals #I used to sit and work on music for hours and hours #pretty much the only productive thing I did my first year of college was make an album #and now I’m just like… I don’t understand how anything works. I’m so old.#but I guess it’s… ya know… it’s been awhile and you can’t just expect to jump back in with the same skill and comfort #you’ve got get all the tedious beginning stuff out of the way. that’s just how it goes. it builds and builds.#it’s the opposite of eating an elephant. it’s frankensteining and elephant. gotta do it piece by piece.#basically I got another hand me down laptop. clean slate freshly wiped.#then I spent about 5 hours just setting it up and thennnnnn getting a bad virus bc I’m stupid as hell and don’t want to pay for software #I lost my software installer I already had so I rushed to 🏴‍☠️ the first decent one I could find #and then when I got warnings I said ‘meh the antivirus is probably exaggerating’#ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? ARE YOU STUPID!? you trust the illegal file over your own antivirus!? whatttt!?#i am very stupid #at least the laptop is pretty much empty. just gonna do another clean wipe and start again. hopefully smarter.#I really want this. I made a set of bookmarks for TFP Soundwave and his minicons! Took some liberties with Ravage, Rumble, and Frenzy 'cause I didn't have a canon reference for them in TFP.

I actually re-did Frenzy and Rumble's bookmarks 'cause I didn't like how I originally designed them colour scheme wise. I'm gonna put additional photos plus the original designs I had for Frenzy and Rumble under the cut.

open the floodgates your frustration turns into tears quickly. the strength of your fury is so potent that it sets off the waterworks out of pure rage. you hate it, because whoever's pissed you off thinks it's funny, like you're not tough and you can't defend yourself. you can, you just need to get through the haze of emotions first.

#Dash Games #Musings: Krang #I was 'meh' about this at the very first but in hindsight?#I like to think that Krang got teary-eyed quickly at a younger age and learned to get to his fury right away now in most cases.#But he still breaks out in tears if someone sets him off about things he is still VERY emotional about. Like his body.#The ones truly raging here are Shredder and Subprime. Krang is more getting emotional in general.

#maja talks #also I'm okay it's just a really weird feeling #and death is kind of.. a thing that happens a bit too often a bit too early in my family #and I was at my 92 years old grandma's house and experienced getting all the news and knowledge in real time #and my grandma was very sad and very tired of her children and children in law(?) dying before her #so it was very upsetting for her and it hurt to see her so sad #I am of course sad too but I think I'm a bit distant when it comes to death and sadness because trauma so #I'm going to my sister's house just to be together so I will be fine!#also don't think it's weird when I post a big Seonghwa set in a couple of hours #I worked very hard on that and will post it even tho my personal circumstances are a bit meh #thank you everybody!!

Final thoughts on iron widow are that it is very fun to watch someone break stuff for a couple hundred pages but that it was pretty overhyped as anything beyond that. If it wasn't marketed as this groundbreaking feminist ThingTM I would have liked it more I think bcos politically it's a bit incoherent besides being very firm that girl power Is Good and sacrificing girls to be car batteries for mechs is Bad. Boo the patriarchy. Did Wu Zetian effectively utilize girl power when she slaughtered innocent people in her big dragon suit? etc

#iron widow #GOD sometimes the character would basically directly look into the camera and State Her Progressive political Views #which is so fucking tiresome like! even though they are values that I share!#if you have to directly tell people what your book's political message is your book isn't conveying that message well enough...#the story should tell us #anyway I saw a review of iron widow saying #'I think this book was too edgy for me'#and I see their point but disagree. most of this book was a bit meh but as a wild ride through shit #I would have found super badass at 15. it was a fun time.#very predictable twist at the end but that's fine #at least that means it was set up properly lmao #it's alive!#I can't believe THIS is the book I finally finished after being in a reading drought for so long.#it was a page turner tho. so

mmmmm got to play dnd again for the first time in forever! with an in person group at one of the local game stores! i’m coming in as a new member to an established party but it still worked out really well and i had a great time and the other players loved my character!!!

#shhh sharkie #finally getting to play my Awkward Bird Man #originally aarakokra but re-skinned to Owlin cause of the setting #we basically just met some contacts and threw a party in our hotel room but it was fun #very good RP session to be brought in through #and i made the DM and the other players laugh a lot AND i already have some backstory things rolling!!!#on a quest to find my sibling! what ever happened to them! i do not know! i will find out!#they maybe murdered my parents! or otherwise are fleeing from something terrible!#i’m so excited to keep this going i’m already having so much fun #and i need to make more friends here that aren’t connected to work #i like all these people they’re very fun #we have one guy who’s a bit of an interrupter but it’s not so bad that it throws off gameplay so meh im cool with it
