"The idea that Shiv and Ken have that Roman's apprehensive about -- it's a good idea, it's a good pivot, if it was just a good business decision. But I think it's for emotional reasons which you're not supposed to, like, mix up, and I think that's why we end up with the number that we end up with at the end of the fucking episode because they just get carried away, they lose sight of it. It's no longer a good business deal, it's not smart business, it's just "Beat him! Win!" and I think Roman doesn't want to do that for a number of reasons. I think he likes The Hundred, he likes having this separate from Dad -- don't want to go toe-to-toe with Dad on anything, 'cause he's probably gonna lose -- but also, I think by sticking with our own thing, just the three of us, there's no conflict, there's no enemy, there's no fighting. It's actually just us. There can be in-fighting, but that stuff is kind of fun. And also that gives us a way of, like, possibly -- at least for Roman it's important, I'm not sure about the other siblings -- it's important for him to keep up a relationship with Dad. He loves his Dad and I think that he still holds onto this idea of family that, y'know, since childhood -- whatever was there, I feel like he holds onto more so than anyone else in the family, this just idea of family and keeping it together... Maybe, maybe [his fear of fighting Logan] is in there, but it's, it's in there because, not like I'm scared of Dad or, y'know, like, we're gonna lose or anything, but more like, you know, that's our Dad, I kinda want to hang out with him. Like, y'know, it's his birthday today and we're not there, and I don't like that."

just to add insult to injury, gortash would force you to share his bed too. it's not enough that he has taken everything from you, he also has to treat you like a posession even when you sleep.
his golden claws caressing your face with mock affection. see, isn't it better just to give in? hush now, don't cry. there's no point in crying, love. you belong to him now.
any attempt to try and move even slightly away from him would be met with a cruel jank of the leash around your neck.
It’s about eleven pm my time writing this, and i’m giggling and kicking my feet about it
This is a ‘privilege’ I only see being given to the most docile of pet. Even then, there are plenty of strict protections in place. A metal leash hooked to the bed frame, so short you can’t move your head away from the pillow. Your hands are cuffed together, another short chain welded to the steel collar. It’s fitting, you think. Your arms are bent up as if you’re praying. He must like it.
You hold yourself perfectly still as you hear him walk around somewhere behind you in the bedroom. Your muscles clench with every noise, flinching at a metal clink as he removes his gauntlet. You hear a lock and key. You’re not surprised, honestly. The one time you made the mistake of touching the back of his right hand ended with you beaten, bruised, and locked in the prison for three days. You never dared to let your hands stray again.
You close your eyes when he makes his way around the bed. You know he’s watching. He always is. As he settles in the bed, you can feel his gaze burning into you. You feel sick when his hand skims up your hip, your side, all the way up until his hand cups your jaw. His thumb strokes along your cheek, collecting the few tears that you couldn’t hold back. Poor thing.
He sounds pleased when he murmurs that he you shouldn’t be so upset. He presses his forehead to yours, his hand moving forward so he can trace you lower lip with his thumb. Things could be so much worse for you. You should be more grateful dear, or he can show you how bad things can get.

Look I will forever shit on the fact that everything happened without a confirmation that the brother actually kicked the bucket BUT if you think about it there's nothing more relatable than going Full Panic Mode when you're an anxious person and many bad things happen at once

i really don’t think i’ll ever be over the fact that this could’ve been a nostalgia tour and it would’ve been fine and people still would’ve enjoyed going, but it just. it wasn’t that at all. it grew into something we and probably even the band couldn’t have predicted. this wasn’t a victory lap, or a legacy act. they fucking opened every show with a brand new song. the setlist changed every night, and they added new parts to songs they wrote twenty years ago, and then they changed them and changed them again, and gerard was up there every night innovating with his pedalboard, and they relearned songs they’d only played live once and didn’t even have written down, and they WROTE A SONG IN FRONT OF US. we watched their creative process. the lyrics developed and the instrumentation did too. this was a reunion and a rebirth and not a goodbye. we are going to see them again.

I've reached season 5 on my CSI rewatch and I'm a few episodes past "Swap Meet", where a woman is murdered after attending a swing party with other couples from the neighbourhood. Near the end of the episode there's a moment that made me jump from my seat:
(Grissom walks up to Sara and takes the seat next to her. He's holding two cups. He hands her a cup of tea.)
[INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT - BRASS' OFFICE]
Erin Brady: Everybody fantasizes about other people. (She glances at Grissom.)
Even you, Mr. Grissom. A neighbor, a friend ... girl at the office.
[INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT - HALLWAY]
(The door opens. Paul Brady walks out of the hallway. Erin Brady walks out into the hallway. Sara is sitting in the hallway chair watching them. She watches as they meet and kiss.)
(Grissom walks up to Sara and takes the seat next to her. He's holding two culps. He hands her a cup of tea.)
LIKE!!!!!!!
Right after Erin ends her sentence with 'girl at the office', the first time Sara and Grissom meet again, he brings her tea. This might be an innocent interaction but to me it seemed like a nod to this relationship they have where both are into each other, know about the other's feelings, but can't/won't do anything about it (although Sara has kind of given Grissom an ultimatum). I don't know if it was intentional - I'm guessing it is, because I picked it up immediately. I might or might not have squealed in delight.
