halfbaked and basic landoscar fic concept where Lando tends bar at a struggling pub recently passed down to Logan and Alex, who reaches out to Logan’s childhood friend Oscar to help save the bar and over the course of several weeks/months/however Oscar and Lando grow closer trying to do their best to save the pub while Sargbon try to set them up
#So like the vision is#Logan and Alex got handed this pub (probably named williams or smth) by a old family friend and it’s pretty in the dumps already#they’re gonna sell the place until Lando (someone who tended bar under the old owner and is really attached) convinces them it’ll be worth#so they call oscar in who’s working like a shitty 9to5 and has no friends or life outside work#and beg for his help saving this bar#and it’s very hallmarky like the whole town gets together to help save the bar with the rallying of Lando and the genius of oscar#the two obvi get closer together over the course of saving the bar#but hijinks ensue through miscommunication#probably smth like Lando overhears Oscar telling logan he is giving up/going back to shitty 9to5 out of context#when really it’s the opposite#and they fall in love#so oscar ends up running the admin side of the bar while logan alex and lando all work the front of house#fanfic writers im giving you this half baked shitty concept#as a gift#landoscar#mctwinks#oscar piastri#lando norris#logan sargeant#alex albon#sargebon

#if you make a claim without bounding the range of the clauses then youre not rly saying much#i see this sorta logic all the time#like. either your metric of 'better' is unbounded & so broad so as to be analytically useless#or theres a qualitative gap youre not accounting for where you do have a bound & something can be of a different 'kind'#but then you have to establish that the object is of that kind in the first place which just gets you back to square 1!#you have to establish that falls in the range of 'better but not qualitatively different'#which assumedly is what the argument is over in the first place right#this is what happens when you extinguish popular analysis of colonialism of any economic analytic & just turn it to 'bad people'#plus what happens when you dont have a concept of superprofits & how to maintain them vs how to maintain profits#or how quantity becomes quality (at critical points of intensity)#but if you just want a thought terminating cliche you can just say#'at a certain point yes it does lol'

a/n: not me finally giving in my to my current hyperfixation after reading through the entire aemond x reader tag, dedicated to the loveliest of lovelies @missglaskin and the extraordinary @westernbaby because their writing is both amazing and inspiring <3333 thank you for all you write.
• one had been friends with Alicent and Rhaenyra, enjoying yourselves with picnics and reading together. Rhaenyra had grown to consider you her sister. every thing you gave her, no matter small or big, was kept as something special.
• Aemma and Viserys make a few attempts in the beginning to explain to rhaenyra that while they are glad you are such a good friend, that you aren’t her sister before they too can’t help but fall for your charms and see you as their child.
• you end spending more time with rhaenyra in her home than your own home. rhaenyra even has a room set up for you, right next to hers. It’s her right as your beloved sister, she insists.
• daemon, upon returning and finding out about you and the situation, has a lot of loud opinions. How have you charmed his brother, good-sister, and niece all at once. He’s very cold until he also sees what made rhaenyra become so attached and he insists on keeping you safe. No one is worth your attention.\
• Aemma is particularly attached to you, considering herself your mother. You’re such a sweet girl and every time you visit her with a book for her to occupy herself with or flowers to liven her room, she can’t help but melt.
• despite Alicent’s gushing about you, perfectly charming and lovable you, Otto is skeptical. What are your intentions. You spend most of your time split between rhaenyra, viserys, aemma and daemon so he can’t corner you. but just watching you more than convinces him you’re harmless. and eventually otto is down for the count too but he has to be very careful, especially under daemon’s watchful eye.
• everything is perfect for the most time, expect the sudden and tragic downfall of your biological family and of course rhaenyra is more than happy to offer that you stay with her. you’re already her sister! you can just stay with her! and not long after that your mother’s pregnancy is reaching it’s end when she tragically passes leaving both you, rhaenyra and viserys grief-strucken.
• you and rhaenyra spend most of your time together, leaning on each other for support. Inevitably though, daemon does what daemon does and gets himself exiled, he wants to take you with him. who better to look after you than he, your eternal protector. Viserys refuses to even let him say goodbye to you.
• You’re a bit sad at daemon’s departure but nothing could have ever prepared you for the news of alicent marrying your father. It’s a shock to rhaenyra too and then comes anger. she insists that you should avoid her too but you’re conflicted. Alicent, your beloved friend alicent.
• For her, it’s strange. After being your friend and clinging to you that way. it’s odd to be your step-mother but she has the advantage. she pleads with viserys that she wants to know your more as your mother (something that angers rhaenyra even more upon hearing about it) and viserys is quick to schedule time between you and her.
• even with all the chaos going around, its not strange that you and rhaenyra would share a guard. ser criston cole. he’s a wonderful guard but you’re so wrapped up in everything to have a conversation with him but your kindness captivates him.
• but be careful what you wish for. you have dangerous people willing to kill for you, my dear. are you ready for that? are you ready for what comes next?

Mildly fond of the trope where you used to like someone but they didn’t like you back and later, when you’ve lost feeling for them, they start liking you, especially in a yandere context.
Maybe they knew you liked them, maybe they didn’t but at the time, you didn’t mean anything to them. You pine. You yearn. You move on. The feelings you once held buried deep enough that they won’t resurface again.
But things change. They always do with time and somehow, you’ve caught their attention when you’ve already moved on.
It’s hard to tell exactly when it starts. Maybe they’ve just gotten used to your tiny tiny presence in the corner of their view that when you’re gone, it tips everything out of balance. Things spiral downward from there.
Past you would’ve been happy to be with them, utterly enamoured by the way they acted. But you can’t help but be disjointed, off put by the suddenness of their… everything when you had been practically ignored by them for ages.
They’re so so desperate to win your affections back, to have your attention on them again. Did you like the way they were before? Should they try to emulate their past self so you like them again? What would it take for you to come back to them (to where you belong)?
They’re patient. Willing enough to spend time with you, slowly wearing you down until they’ve ingrained themselves deeply in your life. They can’t let you live without them the same way they can’t live without you anymore.
(And maybe, once you’ve become good friends, close enough that you foolishly admit all on your own that you once had a crush on them.
Even though they already knew it, there’s a big difference between hearing you say that you like(d) them and simply knowing. Butterflies flutter in their stomach and a blush threatens to rise to their cheeks. Ah, you’re far too much for them!
Perhaps now would be a good time to whisk you away and profess their feelings of love? After all, you had admitted your own to them already…)

quite truthfully my very personal highly self indulgent interpretation of the life series & it as a timeloop specifically is like. entirely 10000% shaped by orvs metanarrative so if you want access to this specific interpretation that like maybe 2 or 3 total people globally hold you will unfortunately have to read 551 chapters of a korean webnovel that only exists in full via awkward fan translation. but it sounds tempting does it not
#sorry whenever i try to bridge the gap of explaining even a modicum of my interpretation of the life series timeloop#i just turn into a shameless shill for orv LOL#im just.. very very attached to the concept of the watchers and how they are a direct analogy for us as fans of the series#& the idea of us (me! & you reading this!) being responsible for all the events that transpire..death as entertainment! tragedy as beauty!#and just. the horrible wonderful messy thing that is the act of storytelling as a preservation of life#we live on through story......... can a watcher continue to exist even if they have nothing to watch......#though they try to paint themselves as villainous as story gluttons as puppeteers and masterminds and bloodthirsty monsters#though they try to run away to drown themselves in the story to watch and watch and watch to become something else for just a little while#its just...#its all only ever because they loved the story.... they loved the story so much they brought it to life...#who else will be there to record their victories? their deaths? every little mundane thing?#who else will ascribe meaning to the minutiae-- to the things that were never supposed to hold meaning in the first place?#hand in hand together we make a tiny world#we watch it die over and over again#and we watch it slowly come back to life.......#maybe we can feel alive this way too....

These are kinda-sorta leftover doodles that've been hanging around that I want Somewhere#The first two are anyway the latter two are actually vent-adjacent lol#First two first!#I always prattle on about how perfect I think Charm's design is but agh her balance of flat and 3D shapes are so fun to me#My notes make sense to me but they are pretty all over the place so let's see if I can clarify lol#The numbers are how many pop-out features she has - anything that doesn't share a plane with her body (her head/torso/arms/legs)#So things like her hair - her glasses - the collar of her shirt but not the shirt itself since that's flush with her torso#Think like constructing a pattern where the clothes are part of the doll itself rather than removable articles#And while her hair is flush with what would be her body it's still an ''extra'' shape! Hopefully that makes sense lol#Anyhow - the dashes are flat features like her collar or the tops of her shoes on her thighs - they pop out but are flat shapes#As opposed to pop-outs like her bon-bons or her wings! Those are very 3D! The bon-bons are spheres and her wings are thin but not flat#I think she has a lovely distribution of flat and 3D pop-outs :D Considering she was designed with 3D in mind! Which I've gotten away from#Probably as evidenced by my difficulty coming up with her TVAU design pfftbl#I do still really like the idea of the dark stripes for her legs and scales for her body - and I canNot let that teardrop jewel design go#Oh and TVAU wings /are/ flat! Since they'd be animated in the same style as Kaiein and he's mostly 2D :)#I dunno hmm - it's hard to think of what features I'd give her that aren't just Her Outfit again#Probably it's the bon-bons that have me especially caught up they're just such a wonderful break between her torso and legs agh#Designed myself into a corner lol how do top or bottom half of design lol#As for the other two pfff |P Kaiein nonsense#Not irl at least lol minor blessings but still frustration! if i finish writing my fic about chilchuck teaching marcille to knit it'll be over for you guys
#pickle pontificates#think about it. i found another extra that references magic warmups btw#that one had hair braiding meditation and hand gestures#but think about it. are knitting/crochet/various other needle arts not very repetitive meditative things???#wouldn't knitting be a great method of magic warmups in place of hair braiding???#marcille uses her hair for magic a couple times and it could be that it has inherently magical properties#but my theory is that hers is imbued with magic because she uses it for warmups all the time#so then it could follow that the resulting knitted items would be imbued with magical properties... dungeon rabbit resistant scarf anyone?#or a fireproof sweater?#why is chilchuck my chosen victim for the person to teach her? well. on my conspiracy wall over here you can see that chilchuck frequently#sits down to sew his clothes/equipment back together throughout canon. i think it's safe to say that he's canonically good at sewing#the only other characters who we see demonstrate similar abilities are mrs. tansu who is a beast at knitting and an icon#and falin. who carries sewing supplies in her equipment (smart) but has frankly atrocious stitching#as can be seen in the comic where she and laios offer to help put marcille's name on her stuff and it's illegible#mrs. tansu really has no relation to marcille#and although falin's bad sewing may have been due to her eyesight (which would no longer affect that) she is canonically also a bad teacher#i think she would try enthusiastically but i do not see it working out#so chilchuck it is.#a fic based around these concepts allows me to further these agendas:#marcille recovering from dungeon lord shenanigans with the help of her friends agenda#chilchuck engaging in reluctant dadly activities agenda#needle arts chilchuck agenda#and... the special bonus i would like to get to... chilchuck reuniting with his wife agenda#and wingman marcille agenda#AND contributing to the dunmeshi platonic fic agenda??? so many wins#there.#now all i gotta do is finish writing it. which is an issue because i have two school assignments due yesterday
