Resurrection AU: Void

In this AU, Void has been reincarnated as a little white puffball. He has no memory of his life before he was sealed away by the Heroes of Yore.

His main goal is to figure out who he actually was in his previous life. Aiding in this effort is Magolor, who's agreed to help in exchange for some assistance with his theme park work. He happens to be working on an ancient history-themed area, and could use a hand in the research process.

Personality-wise, Void is driven and has a no-nonsense attitude. He's not super thrilled about all this silly wizard theme park nonsense, but will do what it takes to get what he wants. He has a tendency to overwork himself. He doesn't seem to have retained any powers from his time as Void Termina.

who’s the cuddler: Yamada, most definitely, and holy fuck does Shouta find it annoying. Shouta really fuckin loves sleep so most people probably headcanon him as the cuddler but boy oh boy do they got it wrong. Sleep is for sleeping. Sleep is for the soul. Shouta is about that sleep life. He is not however about the “waking up sweaty and generally uncomfortable with someone laying on top of you” life. He wants his sleep to be as comfortable and peaceful as possible, which, for him at least, does not include cuddling. 

Yamada, on the other hand, LOVES to cuddle. Cuddling is his shit and is most definitely how he sleeps best. Unfortunately for him, Shouta is not that person and so he usually settles for overlapping legs when they go to bed at night. However, Shouta can be flexible and will cuddle with Yamada when they watch movies at home on the couch. But only because this isn’t sleep time, this is movie time, and while cuddling is not conducive to sleep in Shouta’s eyes, it sure as heck is comfy when him and Yamada have 10 million blankets wrapped around them and they’re curled together watching some dorky scary movie that Yamada somehow seems to be genuinely scared of, despite the fact he has fought literal villains before in his day to day life. 

who makes the bed: Shouta bc his bed is his fuckin life and he would never dare to disrespect his most sacred space like that and quite honestly he is offended that Yamada does not so much as take a second glance at their bed after getting up. I mean honestly, wtf Yamada, are you a heathen.

who wakes up first: Yamada, bright and early and to a particularly loathsome ringtone that makes Shouta wanna punch him in the face. Shouta continues to sleep while Yamada sings to himself in the shower. Shouta says “5 more minutes” every 5 minutes until about 10 minutes before him and Yamada leave for school, at which point Yamada is forced to physically drag his boyfriend’s sleepy ass out of bed and hand him a giant fucking cup of black coffee. 

who has the weird taste in music: Yamada, holy shit does that dude listen to some out there stuff. You know the weird Russian singer guy in that vine? Ya that typa shit, but like seriously, and he’s always singing it around the house or in the teacher’s lounge while grading papers and holy fuck does it get on everyone's nerves. All Might is just about the only person who doesn’t find it annoying and all the rest of the teachers pretty much stare daggers at him when he asks Yamada one day what he’s always singing because damn, here we go. 

who is more protective: Shouta, y’all seen how he defended his kids in the U.S.J attack right? So like imagine that but when someone makes fun of Yamada’s hair. 

who sings in the shower: YAMADA. This guy sings just about fuckin everything in the shower, although he is most definitely partial to Whitney Houston's “How Will I Know” on particularly chipper mornings. Shouta would never tell him but he secretly loves waking up to hearing him sing that because he knows that means Yamada’s already having a good day. Plus, Yamada is just so cute and such a dork for iconic 80s anthems. It’s truly adorable and one of his most endearing qualities in Shouta’s opinion. He can’t help but smile to himself everytime he hears the song because Yamada belting it out in the shower like he’s performing at the fucking Grammy’s is just about his favorite thing on the planet. Meanwhile, Shouta has to take cold miserable showers to wake himself up in the morning. He can’t even imagine being awake enough to actually sing and enjoy himself in the shower.

who cries during movies: BOTH. Yamada for obvious reasons but when it comes to Shouta, the man is a softy at heart. Yamada is definitely the full out “someone hand me some tissues please” sorta crier while Shouta is the silent “a singular tear rolling down his cheek was the only indication that he paying any attention” sort of guy. Shouta draws the line at musicals though. Yamada loves them but Shouta honestly just cannot. 

who spends the most while out shopping: Yamada, that man is looking fly at all times and I’m pretty sure the amount of hairspray and gel he goes through in a month costs more than their electric bill because no, some shitty Paul Mitchell hairspray will not do, he must be the boujeeist of bitches and buy the shit that’s like $100 a can. Shouta does, however, spend a pretty penny each month on cat food and toys and he is absolutely unashamed. 

who kisses more roughly: Shouta. I don’t wanna get into it™ but…. he likes a lot of things rough. WE LEAVE IT THERE THIS IS A PG-13 BLOG.

who is more dominate: Hmmmmm, this one is tricky because Shouta is more dominant in the stoic but strong sense while Yamada is more dominant in his vibrant personality, sheer volume, and openness…. so I’m gonna say it’s about even but in different ways since they are pretty much polar opposites. Neither of them take any shit though, especially when it comes to defending the kiddos at yuuei. In their relationship they are always compromising, everything is a give and take, they’ve been together for a very long time, and have been friends for even longer, so they have their dynamic worked out to a tee. They know one another like the back of their hands so they can always tell when the other is lying or if they are uncomfortable with something.

my rating of the ship from 1-10: 8/10 love em but I’m not like up their collective erasermic ass or anything. Like you won’t catch me writing any erasermic fics but you might occasionally catch me reading one bc they cute and Aizawa is relatable as hell.
