One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.
And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.
Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.
(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

bioware really said "i made this whole ass cool as fuck last second reveal in absolution that gives dreadwolf so much potential, so help me if y'all say dragon age 2 is a bad game that can just be skipped in the triology ONE MORE TIME I WILL SEND MEREDITH TO BEAT YOUR ASS-" and honestly that is so correct of them

cannot express enough how much this scene means to me, especially as a trans person myself. it seems so small, but this scene is groundbreaking in so many ways.
for anyone who hasn't watched alice in borderland: the woman in the last picture is canonically a trans woman. she left home prior to transitioning because of her father's disapproval. this is the first time she's seen her mother since leaving home, & the first time her mother has seen her post-transition.
her mother's first reaction to seeing her as her fully realized self is to call her beautiful. this scene, itself, is so small. but man. is it beautiful.

I'm catching up on last week's episode of My Stand In before today's new episode and just. My fucking god Joe. STAND UP. GET OFF THAT DAMN GROUND. RISE UP OUT OF THOSE TRENCHES. GIRL GET UP. DETACH FROM MING'S DICK. Yes he's cute and is keeping their house, but he's also out here saying fuck no to couple mugs cause they're not together despite living together for awhile now and like.
Also, Sol keeps irritating me every time he shows up being all "I'm too late again." Bitch you haven't even been invited for like two years. What do you mean too late. Grow up, accept it, and move on.
And Tong needs to fuck right off. Telling Joe he's fucking his way to the top when it's so obvious Joe is NOT doing that and Tong's bitchass so clearly is/did.
Joe really just has all these flop ass men around him and I just. It's just so freaking sad. Sorry boo. I still love you but girl.
I hope Joe 2 grows a spine because I can't keep seeing him be brought down by all these men.

I have seen a lot of people complain on the last few episodes of Between Us being repetitive and sort of the same. It’s not that I don’t agree with them on it being on the same theme but I don’t agree with what they’re trying to prove or insinuate with that statement. I understand that the series might not seem to be moving forward but I feel people need to understand that this is a very different take on the university BL series which necessarily doesn’t need to have twists and spice to make it enthralling. I feel they are trying to present the everyday life of a university goer and make us understand the depth of insecurities that runs within each partner of a to-be relationship.
It is not just a BL series, they are trying to humanise the story that Sheep wrote with various directions and in-depth character study. Not just that, people need to understand that this is a passion project (I know that doesn’t mean repetitiveness) but I don’t think you also understand how they’re trying to cover several lives, not just stories.
I know how series seem to be working in the BL industry and how fans want what they want, but please, let us also be empathetic of what people are trying to convey by not just focusing on the big picture, but giving us a holistic fathomable coverage on the little things that matter.
