also, are there any ppl in hallownest as it is in hk grimm would dislike for whatever reasons if they met? (ex. zote, sly, the mantis lords...)
The technical answer is: You would not know it most of the time if he did. He’s not likely to be rude to anyone. He hides behind a façade of politeness, pretty smiles and head tilts and squinty eyes. He’s not here to make enemies and doing so is, in fact, counterproductive to his goals.
The honest answers are:
Zote: This one is because I headcanon Grimm as absolutely hating lies and liars. Zote is both. I cannot see him appreciating anyone who uses lies to build their entire character up on, who is so extensively delusional that he even begins to believe the stories he tells. I think this one would be strong enough that he’d even actively avoid Zote if he could help it, because it is in his nature to point out lies, and he would be smart enough to know how badly that will go with Zote. A wasted effort that is bound to cause a headache. Smile and walk away.
(Fortunately I do not think Zote would even register Grimm as anything worthy of note, so I don’t think it’d be an issue.)
The Pale King: The main reason I dislike a certain ship is this one. I will preface this as: I read the “dear wyrm” bit as dripping in sarcasm, not sincere. Also I know you say as it is, so PK isn't technically in it anymore, BUT HEAR ME OUT
Grimm as I write him/see him/headcanons is someone who thinks death is an important, vital part of the natural order, not something to be feared and not something to be run from, but also not something to be played with or manipulated. He has so much respect for the balance of life and death, viewing his role not as destructive but as shepherding in a new era, something that is diametrically opposed by a king who trapped his entire kingdom in a stasis in a desperate bid to stave off its death. “The Eternal Kingdom” as a concept goes against that natural order, and I cannot see Grimm looking at this and seeing anything more than a pathetic creature trying to outrun the inevitable.
Oh, I think he’d respect PK’s talents. I think he’d admire some of his tenacity. But his ultimate view would be “You are no better than that which you oppose: running from death and trying to wrest it under your control.”
Others may argue that his stance on the Infection is a noble one, that he’s trying to prevent needless deaths, and I’m sure that has occurred to Grimm as well – but it’s a little like shoving a bandaid over a stab wound.
I also don’t think he’d exactly view too highly the idea of using one’s own children as a sacrificial gambit in war. Even though I think he intellectually would understand that PK did this as a way to save his kingdom, even through great personal pains (and I do believe that the Pale King absolutely was agonized by doing it – I am a PK Died Of Guilt truther), I still do not think he would agree with it.
Ultimately, I think he views the Pale King as largely arrogant and trying to control things well beyond his capacities. He’s someone who believes that a natural order is extremely important, that balance is important, that DEATH is important – they’re juxtaposed to one another in all of their morality, and I cannot see him getting past it.
However – and here’s the big factor – Grimm I do not think would ever actually voice any of this to the Pale King unprovoked. He’s too smart to pick a fight with someone who he’s confident could best him (PK did best his sister after all) and he’s also of the opinion that trying to tell another god what to do with their life is hardly his place.
I think that he’d know, though, that he represents everything the Pale King fears by din of what he is, and I cannot see him wanting to spend any time around him as a result. Sort of “me being around you is salt in a wound and you being around me is a headache. Let us avoid this by not interacting unless we have to.”
Bonus:
I think Grimm would find Hornet hilarious. I do not think she would share in the sentiment. I’m pretty sure she’d find him infuriating and want to break his face. I think he’d find that even funnier. I also think he finds White Lady disliking him so much very entertaining.

★♦ the pale king~?
★ - sad headcanon
-points at Ashe- Okay, so, in Shatter AU he knows exactly what he's sending Hollow into. He knows that they are not pure and he knows that they will break. He knows that the most likely outcome is Dream No More, where they die and Hallownest is completely destroyed beforehand, with the only hope being that to rebuild. He struggles to give them affection in what ways he can—which is promptly used against Hollow, in a way of "he was trying to manipulate me into loyalty"—and he's proud of them. The sad of it is that I headcanon him as having seen several possible outcomes. He'd seen the Hollow Knight ending, with them dying and Ghost taking their place, he'd seen Embrace the Void and Delicate Flower endings, all of it. And he'd seen the Shatter AU outcome. It was the least likely of all and it was the best one. He never hoped that it could come true, though, because it was a completely negligible chance, almost a delusion of hope that he didn't allow himself to feel. ♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon
Stimming. Stimming stimming stimming STIMMING this man literally doesn't stop, and oftentimes it leads to small injuries whenever he absent-mindedly drums his fingers on a sharp detail that he is working on, etc. He also has a lot of... what to call it. He remembers the exact amount of times he has to turn his hand to screw something together and GOD FORBID one day that amount changes, for example. Associative memory is also something I like for him. He has an absolutely INSANE memory, and it is very closely tied to the sensual. He recalls stuff by assuming the same position that he was in when inventing/working on it, for example. Or by shifting stuff around on his table to be the same way as it had been on the day when he'd worked on the thing he wants to remember. Hobbies I'm basic with: engineering, machinery and the sort. I also like to imagine that he loves running the kingdom—he enjoys doing all the economic stuff, all the behind-the-scenes tedious calculations and planning. He just hates being a public presence is all; but he has to do it.

papyrus in hyrule :>?
Oh ho ho Nyeh heh heh! This gives me tons of ideas! Get ready for my special attack! (Text wall)
Some TotK spoilers at the end — only stuff one sees in tutorial area and one (1) detail from later in the game that I tried to keep vague. That detail will be written with small letters like this but in blue! I'm gonna try putting the spoilers under a readmore but I've noticed tumblr sometimes show it anyway and I don't know why.
Anyway!
First of all, regardless of where or when in Hyrule he ends up, Papyrus would be initially mistaken for a Stalfos. If he were to appear in a spot with hylians they would probably scream and run away (like they do in TP Castle Town for Wolf Link) and Papyrus would assume they're screaming because they're his fans and running away because they're shy. If he were to appear in an area with monsters the monsters would probably be curious but otherwise mostly leave him alone. Papyrus would probably try to teach them how to fight properly (as in the UT style) and have them perfect not killing their opponent just like him, and have a pretty good success rate on that. He would also try to teach them how to make and solve puzzles, with less success. If he were to end up in a dungeon he would have fun solving all the puzzles, sometimes with accidental cheese because the laws of physics is merely a suggestion to Papyrus.
I'd like to imagine that when Link encounters him he is a little thrown off by a monster talking (unless ofc it's the Link from the Oracle games cause he knows plenty of talking skeletons, or OoT Link if it's after Majora's Mask because of the whole Captain Keeta quest, but most other Links only knows 1-2 talking monsters if any), but mostly because the monster is encouraging him and saying how the Great Papyrus will teach him how to be good etc, and then he'd probably be a bit thrown off by the different style of fighting. If it's early on in Link's quest he might even lose fight and wake up in a cage where the bars are far too wide apart to make it useful.
Perhaps Link have already heard from locals about the Nearby Friendly Stalfos that will treat your injuries and then "spare" you if you lose to it three times. Perhaps they have also heard Papyrus talking about wanting to be a part of the Royal Guards, and think it's a recruit who have risen from the dead with the goal to fulfill its final wish or something. The local kids probably adore him once the locals have stopped fearing him and goes around saying Nyeh heh heh. So I imagine Link would befriend him and have various side quests related to him, like finding/making a Royal Guard uniform for him (ST-style or BotW-style or other), helping with puzzles, and depending on which Hyrule it is he might help with "training" "Papyrus' fans" that have flags with his face on but not acting like a proper Royal Guard (basically, take down pirate bases but without killing the enemies). This could also result in a hilarious conversation between Papyrus and Tetra, even if her flag doesn't have a skull on iirc.
Speaking of Tetra, the moment Papyrus realizes the Zelda he is talking to is a Princess he would probably beg to be a part of their Royal Guard. Tetra would say no because she doesn't see herself as a Royal, but she would probably accept him into his crew (and if he could manage to convince her to add a skull to their flag, future pirate flags would indeed be based on his face which is hilarious imo). Most other Zeldas would probably accept him into the Guard after a bit of hesitation — probably less so from the younger Zeldas.
... Ganondorf would just kill him. No mercy there.
Moving on to side characters/races.
Ravio would probably faint by having a loud skeleton appear in his shop. Papyrus would bemoan how it's a bad habit to take a nap when standing and then tuck Ravio in in a bed, maybe scold him for not listening to his body (because why else would you faint take a nap if it isn't due to being overworked?) and then maybe read fluffy bunny to him too. Papyrus would probably keep an eye socket on Sheerow though because he is small, white and might be the bird version of the Annoying Dog. Papyrus would still befriend them pretty fast, though Ravio would not be as fast because he is terrified for a long while even after Papyrus have declared them friends.
The various versions of Impa would probably be both impressed by his battle skills and exasperated by his naivety.
The Yiga would be horrified by his attempts to make banana spaghetti (because he tried to teach them to be good by using cooking lessons like Undyne did to him. Sorta). They have sworn to stay out of his way because it is not worth the risk of being forced into a "cooking lesson" since none of them can take him on.
Malon would be scared at first and then accept him with open arms. She would teach him a lot about farming and that milk is good for the bones. She might even successfully teach him simpler cooking and/or how to make cheese and butter. Papyrus will be a walking Milk promoter afterwards.
He would totally join the Postman/Running Man on his runs. And have him holler about how great they are while they're at it.
He would probably be sad that Stalhorses disappear at dawn and decide to make his own that doesn't. It doesn't quite look like a horse though (more like a mix between a stalhorse and a small wingless version of his Gaster Blaster in Unexpected Guests by @/undertalethingems) and it tends to act more like a puppy. One who will fall over and ask for belly rubs the moment you touch it, unless it wants to play. He would probably not be permitted to register it in ba stable (if it's the BotW-verse) until Link and/or Zelda stared the Stable owners down so they would make an exception. Not that it would really matter because he wouldn't board it or leave it alone out in nowhere so the stable have to fetch it like Link does, but still.
He would absolutely call the Zoras "Undyne's relatives". And he would probably try to feed Gorons sprinkles because that's what Sans' pet rock ate. Not sure how he would react to the Rito or other non-human races in Hyrule, all I know is that he would be a cool dude about all of them.
He would be shut out from Gerudo Town at first, but he would either get in a technically ("Are you a vai or a voe?" "I'm a skeleton! Nyeh heh heh!"). Or, he would earn a membership card like in OoT because of his fight prowess and/or through hard work and obvious lack of ulterior motives. Heck he might even accidentally help keep creeps away because he "convinces" them to do annoying dumb endless tasks when they get too close (eg sweeping sand away from the road between the town and the bazaar).
Here comes the spoilers if tumblr is silly and skips the readmore:
If he were to end up in Hyrule's founding times, he might think the Zonai are related to Asgore — or Asgore-clones that used dye.
He'd might consider the constructs bad Mettaton copies, but he likes the Construct Stewards because they aren't trying to be copies and have a good work ethic.
Big spoiler tried to be made vague comming up now!
My HC is that Papyrus does know a bit of healing, so to have a bit of angst it could be interesting if Papyrus was nearby when a certain character dies, and when he realises he can't heal it on his own he absorbs their SOUL (only with the intention of it being temporarily though) and tries to heal the damage with the boosted power.

Why do I always get the worst messes?
Send me an ask with the first sentence of a fanfic and I’ll write the next five.
Dead End rolled his optics as he used a fresh rag to wipe up the worst of the mess. Someone (not naming names, and also, Dead End just hadn't noticed) had spilled the happy hour special on no less than three tables. And considering he had just seen Perceptor leaving for his first night off in a week...
He was stuck with it.
Dead End groaned.

4. what was the last straw that made you finally block that annoying person?
uh. well. most of my blocks are for feed curation reasons, but there are a couple people I have blocked for constant, maintagged kink content and for being really weird on discord. I'll let you figure out who that might be. Can't tell you what the last straw really was, except for the one guy who (unsolicited) tried to hit me up in DMs after I said "hi" to him in a public server. Eugh.
9. worst part of canon
I'm taking this to mean "something in canon that I'm personally annoyed by" but I've already invoked Zote in a previous answer, so... I'd say the fact that there's so much cut content that I'm not convinced needed to be cut. I know this is a popular opinion, but I'm with all y'all on this. Stuff like Lurien's dialogue, PV's dreamnail thoughts, I think there was stuff about Monomon and PK... some of those are actually integral to the type of story they were trying to tell, and I feel like removing them has made people misinterpret things because they don't know any better. True, digging up the cut content does feel like a treasure hunt, but is it worth it when you also have to deal with the curse of knowledge while staring at people who just don't get it like you do? /lh

herrah + battle!
YES!!!
I hc that Herrah wields a greatneedle and like Hornet uses it for extra agility, using it with precision in a battle to move herself quickly to wherever she needs to be to setup an attack/dodge. I also like to hc Herrah as a tactician, so she's constantly taking in info about whoever she's fighting and adjusting her attacks accordingly as well as using her surroundings to her advantage. She can also throw her greatneedle with excellent accuracy and do throw-specific moves like adding a spin on it or using the silk rope attached to it to throw it in a curve.
I also like to hc that Herrah has really bad anxiety, so she actually ends up appearing very calm and collected during a battle bc her anxiety's already at max at all times and physically cannot get any higher.

wl/pk have the kingsoul, what might lurien/pk have?
Nothing quite as tangible as a charm linking their souls together; 'just' a bond forged between a god and his chosen, and the many years they have working together! The main reason for this is because the nature of how PK interacts with WL and how PK interacts with Lurien is very very different, and thus results in different evidence of their bond between the two
The link between a god and their chosen is something special, and cannot really ever be replicated with another Higher Being. Another Higher Being will always be competition, no matter how close the two are; a god and their chosen, however, is more of a bond where the mortal becomes an extension of their deity, and represents their ideals/what they represent in the nuance of living flesh. This manifests in vastly different ways between people and gods, ofc, but in the case of Lurien and PK- where Lurien retains his personhood to the fullest and PK interacts with him as a peer and a lover- this is closer to being 'drift compatible' (as I understand it- I've never watched Pacific Rim) than anything else. Lurien can reach out to PK and draw strength from his endless reserves of Soul/touch his mind without fear because he is mentally strong enough and wise enough that he can merge minds with a god without losing himself, and PK can enter Lurien's mind, share his soul, and commune with him without fear of obliterating his individuality or turning him into a pile of goo as a result. It's based on genuine inherent compatibility, but they've also worked on this bond over centuries and have the skills to show for it. There's an inherent power imbalance between them, but they've found a way to equalize it as best they can, and that's what they have to show for it
PK and WL, however, are two Higher Beings, and their nature is inherently based on seeing the other as competition despite the fact that they occupy two different niches entirely and have no desire to try to lord their power over the other. The nature of their bond, as a result, is not so much finding equal footing as it is determining a mutually agreeable pact where each sacrifices a part of themselves in order to better fit the other's needs. In this case, I interpreted it as PK yielding to WL by very literally giving her half of his soul; he took the more submissive role by carving away a part of himself to give to her, and made his palace a place where she could comfortably establish herself and do what she wished to make it better suit her needs despite it being in the very heart of his territory. In return, WL decorated her territory with effigies of him, and carved herself down to match his state of mimicking the bugs around him, even if she had no real need nor desire to mingle so closely with the mortals as he did. Their bond with each other is impossibly close, but it was one that was made by mutually deciding to whittle each other down to better fit against the other than one based on inherent compatibility, and they have the Kingsoul as physical evidence of this pact

∇ ☼ for the knight~?
∇ - old age/aging headcanon
aging isn't something they really consider, and not counting their early life, they see themself as something static compared to almost everyone else. it makes more sense for them to consider life experiences rather than passage of time, but even then they find it difficult to compare themself to older mortals, often simultaneously feeling like they are both more and less mature in a sense. but, the confidence brought by age they sometimes see is something they hope they will eventually discover for themself. even if it takes a little (a lot) longer.
☼ - appearance headcanon
my first step in approaching any of the characters is to mentally de-stylize them to some degree, and then re-stylize that in my own way. with some characters it's more obvious than others, and even if i stay somewhat close to official art looks i consider what a more 'realistic' alternative could be. me drawing the knight with their horns sweeping back and their body less blobby is reflective of that.
a detail i like to include is that their mask/shell is covered in marks from past close calls and even some occasions it did properly break. while they can focus and put it back together, once the shell is broken, there will be a mark left behind. most of the scars are only clearly visible in just the right conditions, but someone with a careful touch could feel them fairly easily. those could fade with moults, but at time of canon events, it's still all there.

any hc on hollow and herrah's thoughts abt each other~?
Hi <3 You always ask me the best things.
So I am firmly of the opinion that Herrah never believed Hollow was truly Hollow. This stems in large from the fact that Herrah is a parent, but also because I've got the opinion that Deepnest - being disconnected from Hallownestian culture - sees and notices things that most wouldn't. She's also a spider; predators tend to pick up on minute details that others miss. Something something eight eyes with which to see.
With that in mind, I like to think that Herrah knew, and chose to respect them not voicing it, and also... made that choice because this was the only option that she saw to save her child. I think Herrah would've done anything for Hornet, no matter who she had to hurt along the way. But I don't think that she could've completely hidden that she knew better from Hollow -- and so I think that she was probably at once a comforting presence and alarming. Here is someone who sees through their facade, but will not call them out on it.
As for them -- I have long thought that everything they did was for those they loved, including Hornet. I think they knew that she saw through them and never called it out because they were doing everything they could in part to save their sister. I like to believe that Hollow respected Herrah because they, too, would do anything for the people they love. Kindred spirits. Even if that kinship ended in both of them suffering horribly and leaving their loved ones alone.
I think if fate had been kinder, Herrah would've grown to view Hollow as another of her children (spiders are usually pretty good mothers, after all), which I also explored in W&G some for this reason. :>
