This fact springs to mind every time someone attempts to be funny or clever by regurgitating some pop culture phrase they’ve heard floating around in the collective consciousness, rather than sharing an insightful thought or an original opinion: to wit, I shudder to imagine that they may not, in fact, be pretending to be so excruciatingly boring.
Are they truly necessary, when they’ve over-bred into aimless rambling sounds without poignancy or meaning?

Top Three Ships.
1. I grew up on Percy Jackson and I've recently reread the books and fell back in love with a lot of characters. I really like Lukethan, Luke Castellan x Ethan Nakamura, although the ages have to be the same.
2. Desus/Paul 'Jesus' Rovia x Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead. I recently watched a bunch of episodes after finding out about Tom Payne and I fell in love with this ship. (If you wanna get a little weird, I also ship Malcolm and Daryl based off this little fanfiction I started to write and probably never publish.)
3. Mormor/Sebastian Moran x James Moriarty. Sherlock by BBC was one of the first real fandoms I got into. I fell in love with their James Moriarty and loved how the fans created Sebastian Moran. This ship has been with me for years.
[Bonus ship: Midam. Adam Milligan x Michael from supernatural. One of those characters that have been with me for so long.]
Last Song: Waving Through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen. I love musicals. And now it's a Guy That I'd Kinda Be Into from Be More Chill.
Last Movie: It was either Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters for Jake Abel's beautiful rendition of Luke Castellan and to scream at the inaccuracy of the movie, Assassin's Creed with Michael Fassbender, or one of the John Mulaney movies on Netflix.
Reading: The Final Detail by Harlan Coben which is apart of the Myron Bolitar Mysteries. Which is one of my favorite Bookseries ever.
