A few months ago I watched The Last Bus on Netflix, which is definitely our of my age range (as in the target audience is way younger than I am), but I still really enjoyed watching it. The plot was interesting and the acting was great! Anyway, here's some fanart I made of Josh! I can neither confirm nor deny the fact that I put the sticky note there to cover a seriously creepy attempt at shading. Fine, that's exactly what I did. My second attempt at his face still isn't perfect, but it probably won't kill anyone in their sleep🤷. I used graphite paper to trace the outline and just focused on the shading, but it was still a challenge. Anyway, the moral of the story is sometimes you need to watch kids shows on Netflix and then make sloppy fanart for practice and entertainment. It's a necessity.

Ok, SO! I started watching The Last Bus on Netflix and I developed a crippling obsession with Josh in the first twelve seconds that he was on screen. I was like, "This one, yes, I claim you." So I looked up the actor, Nathanael Saleh, who is apparently my age. But he was also that kid in Mary Poppins returns. WAS I THAT YOUNG WHEN MARY POPPINS RETURNS CAME OUT? I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS THAT LONG AGO! HE'S THE SAME AGE AS ME BUT HE LOOKS FRICKIN TINY THERE!
