every time i start to feel cringe for being too deep in the hyperfixation i remember the intense depression i have waded through and have to remind myself that enjoyment is fleeting (so grab it with both hands), and life is for loving (so hold that love close), and if anyone thinks i’m cringe they must not be having a very good time (and i hope they can find a good time soon).

Things in kotlc that make no sense
If they have infinite lifespans, how has there not been a population explosion?? I know they don't have as many kids but the math still isn't mathing
Wouldn't a world where guilt is lethal effectively be a world where everyone is either super entitled (refuses to acknowledge anything they've done wrong) or insane (shattered mind). Sometimes guilt is necessary, because we all make mistakes, and guilt is our consciences' way of telling us when we have. If you can't acknowledge you've made a mistake and keep your sanity, you're fairly screwed.
How are there no fat elves? You're telling me that just because you have organic slave-gnome grown food, it's impossible to eat too much of that food, have an abnormal balance of nutrients, eat too much elf dessert, or, I don't know, GENETICALLY HAVE MORE THAN ONE BODY TYPE??
Time zones??
How the heck does their monetary system uphold itself? Where do birth funds come from??
What do the adults do all day??
Where does everyone find the motivation to go to school when they aren't required to get jobs??

Hotel view💕🏙💜
I drew this last fall at a hotel in Newark when we went to see Enhypen. I remember this being such a fun morning; I was up early feeling the gentle sunlight through the window and just drawing what I saw for fun to capture the moment. It was truly magical!
In ither news, I'll be selling my art at a homeschool expo in Erie! I've been wanting to sell my art at an event like this for a while now, but I'm also terrified!! I did not order as much supplies as I probably should have to fill a table, I'm definitely on the older end of the "kid entrepreneur" category, I have no experience with these things, and I barely consider myself to be an entrepreneur! Still, I'm sure it'll be fun (mildly embarrassing for sure, but fun). I wanted to post my Newark hotel picture today to remind myself to just chill out and enjoy the process, whether it's an art project or a homeschool event!
Ps. I'm aware the last picture is one of the most terrifying selfies ever taken by anyone anywhere, it was intentional! You're welcome.
