Just rewatched the 3×15 "I want you" scene and I hate the writers so much for interrupting it. Y'all couldn’t have just let them fuck one last time? Lmaooo but seriously. This show has enough ass backwards storylines that punish Marissa so they could've let that scene happen and then have Marissa feel guilty (even more than she canonically did) because she was wildin while Johnny was dying 💀 (okay im not serious, that would've been terrible but I just wanted that scene to finish lol). No seriously, why would you go thru all the trouble of giving RM the tragic and poetic last hurrah of having Marissa "choose" Ryan after the ultimatum thingy that would directly lead to Johnny's death which in turn would lead to their breakup if you weren’t gonna give us one last poetic raunchy consummation? (Okay that was cringe but you get my point) Did they hate RM or what? What was the point of doing mid-S3 the way they did?

Yeah dude I hear you. There was ample time in s3 to course correct and they just kept giving us everything except what we actually wanted. The scene in 314 is so good chemistry-wise, it's kind of insane just in terms of the story and the actors. Just get RM in a room uninterrupted and they'll come out of it with 80% of their issues resolved. This show is literally a never-ending 'what if' because everything gets exponentially worse.

Having Kaitlin present the Baskin Robbins metaphor in conjunction with the letter had to mean something at some point but it got dropped in favor of rebound relationships instead. The show was suffering in the ratings at the time and thought adding an element of sex would help them out. And you know how much this show loved bringing in guest stars. And it's massively insinuated that Mischa and Ben weren't getting along at this time (like I said, making the 314 chemistry... something). So production went all in on those rebounds. By this time the scripts were only written three weeks before an episode even aired, so imagine the quick turnaround this late in the game. The show was a goddamn mess by s3 and they thought removing Mischa from the equation would solve everyone's problems. And they quickly realized it didn't solve shit because she wasn't the problem after all lmao

Oh my GODDD THIS SCEEEENEEEE assuming you pick the empathetic option it’s just sooo sweet. The way u can tell she’s used to helping him with these situations because of how non judgemental and supportive she is, she knows it’s not actually fine when he says it is, and she keeps a lighthearted energy to her the whole time even though they recently broke up. And then when he thanks her and basically confirms that she’s helped him through moments like that before just agrgrhrhhrhrhrhrh fuckkk they’re so 🤲🤲🤲

-Scouting

There are some CUTE fucking interactions in this chapter between them. The little “you trying to butter me up?” Interaction is so sillyyyyy so silly of them and she calls him a fucking camera dork😭😭😭🤌🤌🤌 and they’re laughing and smiling and shit even tho they were just discussing their breakup moments before oghhhh my god☹️☹️🫡🫡🫡. And the fucking “my arms are not short 😠😠” AHEGEGHRR😭😭😭😭🤌🤌✨✨✨✨✨FUCKING CUTE!!! And then there’s the end of the chapter when they get spooked by the lil animatronic and you got the silly little “it scared YOU” “it scared you TWICE” they’re so dumbbb they’re so goofy and sillyyyy why do they 😭😭😭😭👍👍👍👍

Honestly I think he just said that so that fans don't freak out lol. Did you see how fans were asking him why he was looking at the actress in the music video 💀 he had to say that he was a robot just following the directors orders. Some fans are immature and crazy

I don't get why some fans never trust anything the boys say when it comes to dating or anything else fans make assumptions on - if BTS don't say what Armys expect, then they're lying... I thought Armys trusted BTS? One thing is to be asked point blank if you are dating and another is to volunteer that information. I agree that we can't really trust some of the answers BTS give in interviews because we know they can't refuse to answer but they have the right to not reveal or conceal the truth, which means they may lie, even by omission. In this case, Jungkook chose to answer a fan on Stationhead. He could have easily ignored her or answered the question from a different angle (for example, romantic love has a lot in common with other type of relationships, he could've said he wanted the kind of love portrayed in his songs, etc.). Jungkook chose to answer the fan when he didn't have to. Why would he reply only to lie when it would've been far easier not to say anything? Because he didn't want fans to freak out about the lyrics that he chose to release knowing it would trigger fans in some way? He's said in multiple interviews now that the songs don't tell his stories - duh, he didn't write them, those who did don't know him, and he only selected the songs, probably before they even had lyrics. Some fans are immature and crazy, but I trust BTS to be honest with us whenever they can. He had no reason to lie. Some fans always want to believe BTS are fucking a different person every week or in relationships. The fans who refuse to believe BTS aren't dating have a lot more in common with the fans who refuse to believe BTS are dating than they'd like to admit.

Also, the lyrics in Golden are lowkey bullshit. 3D is about hooking up with someone you met online, which isn't necessarily a universal experience. Then we have really specific songs about breakups that don't line up storytelling wise (Too Sad to Dance, Shot Glass of Tears, Hate You). Golden doesn't tell a coherent story about a relationship, with a lot of the lyrics contracting each other. It makes it hard to connect to the lyrics (and the songs) because they're all random. Imo, while some love songs are relatable, regardless of the romantic relationship you have/had, or don't have, Golden has crappy lyrics. I'd say the most relatable/impactful lyrics are Seven (Clean Ver.), SNTY, and Hate You - this coming from someone who's never been in a relationship.

About the actress, what was he supposed to answer??? You think he was thinking "Oh I want to fuck her?" or "Oh, she's so attractive I want to ask her out?" when he shot the scene?? First, that would've been a very disrespectful thing to say about the actress; secondly, he literally didn't know her; thirdly, he was surrounded by cameras, so it wasn't exactly romantic; and, fourthly, Jungkook doesn't like acting or know how to act, which is probably why his mind was "blank". The director told him to act a certain way and he did. I'm sure Jungkook's mind wasn't literally blank but he would've had no issue telling that fan he'd been trying to communicate the intensity of his feelings/tell the story of the MV, etc.. I'm sure Jungkook knows fans get jealous, but why do you assume he's trying to appease those fans? He's awkward and shy around people he doesn't know, and shooting something with strangers isn't exactly intimate, like plenty of actors have said. Jungkook answered a similar question about the female dancers in 3D. He knew the fans were jealous about him being pushed by the female dancers, but he didn't really get why because he naturally felt awkward being pushed by, and holding eye contact with, people he didn't know well.

Why can't we just accept Jungkook's words? Sometimes I feel I must be very naive to actually trust the boys and not just say "Trust BTS" and then twist almost everything they say. We know they've lied or omitted stuff from us before, to protect themselves and even us, but why assume they're lying when they say something that goes against what he believe, especially if it's something so small?

Hi chapter thoughts here I probably will still break this up tho :)

First vision. I think his plan is probably to “expose” wanda and reader to yelena or something maybe take a picture of them together. But to be honest I don’t think it’s gonna have the desired effect because i think the two of them genuinely will end up together anyway so trying to hurt reader by breaking their current relationship is more like a blessing in disguise. (Started with this cos it was quick and we all know everything else is super long so get ready)

I already touched on it briefly but once again Wanda’s character growth and maturity. The way you write her development especially the therapy sessions continues to amaze me. Its not rushed to fit the pace of anything else its completely raw and i just love what you’ve done with it.

The sex thing. Oh boy. “You can tell its been longer than yelena inteded” thats just so awkward. I kinda feel bad for her but was also slightly amused by the situation if not a little second hand embarrassment but yeah I mean i get it you had a dream of a top 10 experience with your ex wife who had lots of time to learn what you like and stuff and then woke up and its the wrong person uh down there.

Past Wanda’s present. If thats not the sweetest god damn thing. Correct me if i got this wrong but she managed to track down the actual one from readers past not a new copy but the original one. The time and effort that must have taken is insane like I genuinely can’t put into words the feels i got from this part (where can i find me a wanda). And its such an amazing gift not only for the sentimental value and what it means to reader but it shows how much she truly loves them and also actually listens to what they say and pay attention. Very sweet 10/10 loved it.

THANK YOU CLINT. Im so happy he mentioned seeing wanda having been to a therapist and a substance abuse specialist. I hope it plants seeds in readers mind even though they immediately denied it (i see them protecting her reputation they care) im hoping they connect the dots because agatha was dropping hints earlier and they had to bring her home when she was drunk but i have a feeling they’re gonna be oblivious 💀.

Yikes Yelena dropping reader in it by saying they’ve seen Wanda recently in front of Nat. She knows what shes doing. The talk with Nat went about as well as I expected and its a very sucky thing to happen on your birthday (thanks yelena). I do see Nat’s point and if I was her I would probably act the same way but if I was reader (which I guess i am?) i would be slightly frustrated because she’s not considering it from reader’s perspective shes seeing it from the point of Yelena’s big sister which I completely understand but she’s supposed to be reader’s best friend. Sometimes our friends make decisions we don’t agree with but all you can do is advise them and support whatever decision they make. It seems that Nat is giving the advice but isn’t willing to give the support if a different decision is made which i completely understand it is her sister its still a bit sad. Its true what they say sometimes friendship breakups or fights hurt way more than romantic ones.

Agatha is still such a good friend and a great character we love her.

The sex thing - I think I write awkward sex better than normal sex lol. I actually had fun writing that scene.

She tracked the original, the one that R's mom accidentally donated away. While Yelena got her a fresh copy of the same puzzle because she thought the one framed is worn down.

Natasha - She's very anti "getting back with your ex wife". I think she's looking at it from her own experience. Her own thing with Bruce never worked out. They were very on and off, and she finally managed to crawl out of that cycle and thinks that it's a similar situation with R and she can be strong enough to do the same.

hey Chana! I finally read Tomorrow’s Another Problem, and aAHH IT WAS SO GOOD. I am lowkey kind of paranoid after reading it though 🤡 anyways, the way you write scenes!! ahfhahufhd it’s so real and I feel like I can actually sEE the it (especially the break up scene where YN’s calling a taxi hHh). Also, the way you wrote YN reacting when she sees people having the journal is very *heart thumping noises* But also,, I just have so many questions on who is actually controlling the journals 🤔

also I was catching up on your previous responses to asks and I think you said Tomorrow’s Another Problem was going to be Namjoon’s Society series fic? All I can think of now when you mention that series is your description “they notice a problem but no one does anything about it” 😭 but honestly, I liked the message in TAP (at least what I thought it was saying a h a). I also see your self-promo in their yes 👀👀 ~🌻

YAY!! i actually wasn’t too too proud of how tomorrow’s another problem turned out because i was rushingggg to finish it 😭😭 but i’m really glad it’s been well-received! AND LMAO PLEASEEE THE PARANOIA 😭😭ngl i was lowkey writing the fic and looking out my window every ten seconds to see if no one was watching me 🤨🤨🤨(finally had to close the blinds to make myself focus LMAO)

omg i’m so happy you like the way i write my scenes! i literally envision a movie while i write so maybe that’s why you can see the scenes unfolding (because i write it with the intention of it being seen!)—does that even make sense 😭😭

literally writing tomorrow’s another problem made me put on my big *thinking cap* because i LITERALLY had to write so many scenes over and over again istg. it’s really hard to get character reactions correctly when a) you're the lowkey OPPOSITE personality of oc and when b) you’ve never experienced the crazy shit she’s experienced. ironically, though, that break up scene was one of the few scenes that i didn’t edit ferociously 😄 when i tell you that i specialize in breakup and fight scenes, i’m not joking 😭

ooh as for who’s controlling the journals,,, who knows? i mean, as the writer i sort of have an idea, but it’s definitely not canon and other readers can interpret it differently. i thought of yn’s situation as almost identical to the truman show. so there are directors and writers and set designers and an outside audience that watches yn live her life through hidden cameras. and the actors and actresses all get the same black leather notebook, which acts as their script. so the people who would be controlling the journals would probably be the scriptwriters lol

and YES LMAO. i LITERALLY had tomorrow’s another problem as joon’s society series fic for the LONGEST time. and it was LITERALLY for that same reason you stated. “they notice a problem but no one does anything about it.” but then i thought about it and realized... tap doesn’t really have a ‘society.’ it doesn’t fit in the society series universe because the whole ‘society’ revolves around one person. it’s an interesting concept but i thought it was too much of an outlier for the series, so i replaced it with it runs wild lol

there are a lot of messages for tap that i think we can all take away from! one would be: don’t trust everyone 😤 but there are others like happiness is what you make of it, tomorrow will be a better day, some things in your life are out of your control, etc. there are probably more bc i’m definitely missing them 💀💀 but whatever you took away from this story, i’m glad you did!!

and we love free self-promo 😩😩😩😩😩 halfway through writing about aktf IN tap, i was like,,, wait wtf am i doing 😭and i contemplated for three days whether i should change the book to some classic literature. but then i was like nah why bother when i can analyze my own fics 😩😩😩😩😭😭😭😭anyways i will be continuing these self-promos for a while <3
