Pov: You are the younger sister of Nene Yashiro and without her knowledge you make a deal with Tsukasa.
WARNINGS: Sexual harassment, blood, choking (NOT MEANT KINKY), death threats, Yugi is a bit touchy.
and again.. English is not my native language have fun :))
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
"The seventh school legend has a brother?" You look at Aoi "Yes Y/n!! Can you believe that.. that's so exciting" Aoi touched her cheeks "Apparently you have to go to the old radio station club and draw a blood pentagram on the floor" she pointed her finger at you to get you closer "it must be your blood" she whispers "oh well, and then you have to call his name three times" she smiled as she continued to water the flowers.
You looked at her shocked "Oh wow, let's be glad I'm not so naive and do that"
.....
Now you're sitting in the old club holding a knife in your hand. "Fuck that" you mumble and stab yourself in the hand.
You don't believe that anyway, but it can't hurt to try and in your defense Aoi did make you very curious.
You paint the pentagram on the floor and light the candles at each corner. Now you were ready... You sit in the middle of the pentagram and say the name. "Tsukasa, Tsukasa, Tsukasa..."
Nothing happened
You wait a whole 2 minutes and then later accept that nothing will happen anymore.. you have to tell Aoi that tomorrow.. but just when you were about to get up, a draft came into the room and all candles went out, a whisper went through the room and then everything was quiet.
You shivered as you realized that a boy was standing in front of you, his eyes were light brown and there was a black bandage on his cheek. Two black things flew around him and he had a hat that he pushed up to look at you. "Oh, are you scared?" The boy asked you as he walked closer.
You crawled backwards as he got closer until the wall appeared behind you, Tsukasa had to laugh "Awww, first you call me and now you want to leave? What a scared little girl" He crouched down in front of you and tilted his head. "Y-you're real?" He had to grin "If you call this real" he started to float.
He came back to the floor and kept staring at you. "Now tell me... why did you call me?"Actually you didn't know that yourself... you thought it wasn't real... ",by the way, what's your name?" You looked at him “Y/n Yashiro.. "I actually just came here to see if you were... well... real?" His eye twitched as he got closer "and? Convinced?" You nodded "But, you summoned me so you have to make a deal with me... Otherwise I'll kill you"
Your mouth was open as you looked at him "But I don't know how that works.. hehe" you tried to get up . He pushed you back down and climbed on top of you with his hand firmly against your neck while his one knee rested between your legs. "Did you know that your blood smells pretty sweet.." You shiverd "We'll do it like this... You'll be my pet and in return I'll grant you 3 big wishes mh?"
You didn't want to die and his hand around your neck squeezed harder so you agreed. "Yes, I'm in.."
You've been his so-called "pet" for 3 months now and since then the days have been up and down. He was with you in class and after class You shouldn't spread rumors for him, you should take care of him. Apparently he thought you were some kind of babysitter for him. "Tsukasa.. just think about human distance" you said as Tsukasa clung to you tightly “but Y/nnnn "You're sooo soft" he puts his nose on your neck "and smells so good" you blushed as you pushed him away "Tsukasa.. please" he grinned cheekily when you said that "please what?"He pushed you against the wall "tell me what you want mhhh" you were quite shocked "W-what" his grin grew wider "Be a good girl for me and do me a favor" you nodded quickly "Spy on my brother would you do that?" you tilted your head "why your brother?" He stuck his finger down her throat so she couldn't breathe anymore "don't ask me questions you stupid thing" your hand went to his arm to stop him but he pushed your chin up and just watched you. Tears formed in your eyes and then he let go of you and you collapsed on the floor, coughing pathetically as you tried not to cry. He looked down at you and started to laugh lightly "You're so a fragile and sensitive little thing" He took your hand and pulled you up, you didn't look him in the eyes.
"What will you do?"
"Don't ask any more questions"
"Good Girl"

Headstones
Ao3 | Wattpad
[cross-posted]
...
Life was stressful. She was only a first-year, and yet she was expected to balance everything.
With school and Hanako, she felt like she was going insane.
She didn’t want to be home. Don’t get her wrong; she loved her parents; she did! But… all she wanted to do was to get away from everything for a few hours. Once she cleared her head, she would be able to go back and face reality.
She glanced down at her shoes, sighing.
Hanako made her mop, not once, but twice, because apparently, she “didn’t do a good job the first time”.
Her back hurt, but it was not like she could just leave her bag there. After all, once she got home, she had homework to do.
Her lips tugged downwards even further into a pout.
And if she went home to drop her bag off, her mother would question her, and then she would end up not even leaving for a walk.
She slipped the strap of her bag over her shoulder with a huff.
No point in complaining. She could always soak in a bath later if it still hurt.
The streets were quiet. A storm was approaching— or something like that, Nene wasn’t paying attention.
She walked. Letting her feet take her away, not concerned about the destination. Nene allows her mind to wander.
Nene vaguely acknowledges walking up a hill and across several streets.
From silly romance stories that will remain only conceptualized to all the supernatural encounters she’s had to face over the school year.
Tears filled her eyes before they were quickly wiped away.
Now wasn’t the time to cry. She could do that later when she lays down to sleep.
She glanced around at the fences and houses.
It was unfamiliar.
Nene stopped, looking around, her lips pursed together.
She might have wandered too far. She was clearly in a residential area. Not one she recognized.
Pulling her phone from her bag, Nene was quick to open the map, gasping at how far she had walked. She was far away from the school, even farther from home.
A park was nearby. Only a few minutes of walking away.
Glancing at the time on her phone, it would be just before five when she got there. And she could rest for a while before heading home.
She zoomed out, paling at what resided next to the park.
A graveyard.
Water lands on her screen above her thumb, causing Nene to flinch.
Nene scoffs at herself. It was just a graveyard. Nothing to be scared of… no supernatural entities should bother her.
Shoving her phone bag into her bag, Nene forces her feet to continue walking.
There was nothing to worry about. She wasn’t stupid enough to go into the graveyard. She would only be in the park.
The gray clouds that filled the sky started to give way. Light rain sprinkled on her.
Nene sighed once more, picking her feet up faster. Hopefully, she could rest under a tree until the rain, which was quickly falling faster, would calm and allow her to go home.
“Ah,” Nene ran, feeling scales form on her skin. She cursed at herself internally for not bringing her umbrella.
She ran past the entrance of the park, her feet splashing small puddles that started forming.
Under trees and small coverings, she saw people around. Her heart was in her throat, and her scales itched. She couldn’t stop now.
Nene couldn’t let people see her like this.
So Nene kept running.
And then she fell.
Tripping over a root of a tree, she crashed into the mud and rolled down a hill.
She yelped and cried out. Landing on her stomach.
“Owww…” Nene whimpered. Mud clung to her scales.
The pain she was in before was amplified.
She pushed herself up onto her knees, wincing at the pain shooting through her body.
Glancing up at the gray cement, she freezes.
Yugi Amane
Tears filled her eyes at it, reading the dates below.
This was Hanako-kun’s grave. Besides, it was his brother’s.
Nene gasped for air, sobbing.
Hanako-kun had a gravestone.
It was funny. Not really.
Why wouldn’t he have a grave? He was dead, after all.
Nene’s head spun as she crawled to the stone. Falling down onto the damp grass where his body would presumably be buried underneath.
The tree above protected her from the ongoing rain.
They were old, unkempt, and in need of care.
Nene sobbed until her throat hurt and her eyes burned, pulling vines that wrapped around both stones.
She threw the leaves on the base aside, scrapping the mud that clung to the stones off as best as she could with her hands, not caring about how rough the stone felt against her hand.
Hanako-kun and Kou-kun arguing over something stupid in that stupid bathroom.
Hanako-kun eating donuts that Nene had made just for him.
Hanako-kun playing Hanafuda with the mokke.
Nene wiped the mud caked on her hands off on her uniform. Cringing at the amount of time it would take to clean it off.
Amane-kun smiling at her on the rooftop.
He was really dead.
Sniffling, Nene shut her eyes.
“Hanako-kun…”
She was going to have to grow up… that’s what Hanako wants.
Nene was going to become an adult. And get a job that she’ll hopefully like, and pay taxes and fall in love with someone how could she possibly love anyone who isn’t–- and maybe marry them, and get a house.
She’ll have a garden and give vegetables to her friends. She’d make lots of good food.
And a child of hers could go to her school. And meet Hanako-kun.
She would graduate and leave Hanako-kun behind.
Inhaling, she counted the seconds.
1… 2… 3… 4…
She held her breath, slowly counting to seven. When she finishes, Nene will be grounded.
Nene couldn’t— wouldn’t allow herself to break down completely in front of the grave of someone who died in the sixties… even if she was his friend.
She just couldn’t do this to herself.
…6 ….7
Exhaling, she lets her eyes wander around the clouded sky. The rain had finally slowed to a temporary stop.
… 5… 6… 7… 8… As she slowly stood, Nene’s lips tugged into a small, albeit sad, smile.
“Mom must be worried,” She said softly, glancing at the graves once more, “Good night, Amane-kun… Tsukasa-kun.”
She turned her back to them, fishing her phone out to get directions to her apartment.
“See you tomorrow, Hanako-kun,”

Leech Twins X Gem! Reader
It was another slow and cold winter in the Coral sea, as the icebergs slowly blocked out the sunlight from the surface. Yet lately many Icebergs have been falling apart lately, they would suddenly collapse and reveal the sun's rays from above.  Azul and the twins would wonder why that's been happening lately. Out of the many years, they lived there this was not a normal occurrence during the winter season.
"I don't mind it, finally we get some sunlight down here in the winter," (child)Floyd sighed.
"It fine I guess, but I don't like the banging noises it makes when they start falling apart. Plus it makes it dangerous to swim near the surface when that happens,"(child) Azul groaned.
Suddenly the iceberg above started to screech and whine as two large icebergs scrapped against each other. The three covered their ears as the sound became unbearable when suddenly that was a loud bang above the surface. Large chunks of ice fell into the water as it revealed an opening to the surface, letting in the sunlight from above.
"Ahh, warm sunlight,"(Child) Floyd smiled.
"What is that?" (Child)Jade asked as he pointed to a sinking figure.
"Probably just some unfortunate human, but I don't think humans are supposed to sink that fast. Jade, Floyd catch them," (Child)Azul said simply.
Jade and Floyd shrugged and same to catch the figure, which was surprisingly heavier than they expected. The twins managed to softly land the figure on the soft sand, and when they stepped to examine the figure they gasped at the sight. The figure had a lovely face, but what was off was the large cracks that ran down her face, and her hair didn't look like anything they've seen. It gave off a beautiful shimmer of Aquamarine.
"Nee, Jade this person is so shiny,"(Child) Floyd smiled as he hugged the figure, " But not so squishy, they're solid as a rock,"
"Careful, you might shatter them,"(child) Jade said with a smile.
"Jade, Floyd what is it?" (Child)Azul asked as he swam as quickly as he could.
He looked over the figure and gasped at the large cracks on her face. Thankfully Azul was able to fix it with coral sap, making the figure look good as new. Suddenly it began to stir as its eyes slowly fluttered open. Revealing beautiful ocean blue eyes she stared blankly at the three faces.
"W-who are you?" The girl asked nervesly, " Where am I?"
The poor girl had lost her memory, and couldn't recall who or what she is or even where she even came from. So Azul simply gave the girl a name, Y/n, but Floyd would nickname Y/n as Aqua or Aquamarine at times.
Y/n was a freak of nature to the twins, she wasn't soft and completely made out of precious stones, from her hair down to her feet. She didn't require food to keep her going, or even air for that matter. She just required sunlight or light from glowing jellyfish.
"Nee, Aqua-chan try this, it's Takoyaki. It's delicious,"(Child) Floyd smiled as he shoved food in Y/n's face.
"O-oh, no thank you, Floyd," Y/n smiled as she feeds it back to Floyd. He happily chomped down with a smile.
"You never eat, are you sure are okay?" (Child) Jade asked.
"As long as I have light, I should be fine," Y/n smiled as she patted Jade's head.
Floyd and Jade smiled as they hugged her arms. Y/n was nothing Like Floyd or Jade had seen before, so they like to drag her around everywhere they went. As they glided through the water Y/n quickly followed behind as she ran across the sandy ocean floor.
"I don't see why I'm needed to go to school with you," Y/n said as the twins pulled on her arms.
"Cause school is so boring, We want you to be by outside," Floyd said as he pulled at Y/n.
"Plus it will be interesting to see how our classmates react," Jade laughed.
The powder that covered Y/n's arms, legs, and face soon washed off revealing her gem surface underneath, but as time went on Floyde and Jade grew. Once small children that were half of Y/n size grew to be taller or longer than her. The twins and Azul grew to be handsome young men, but Y/n seemed to be forever frozen in time and remained the same.
-----------
As Time went on as the twins and Azul started to prepare for the expected arrival of the black carriage. Y/n's mind began to wonder, as she began to wander near the town edge of the Coral Sea, but the Twins don't let her wander too far from them.
"Nene, Aqua-chan what are you doing all the way out here?" Floyd asked as he hugged her from behind.
"Yes, home is the other way. You wander off again," Jade smiled.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but shouldn't you two be making your way back to shore soon?" Y/n asked the twin.
"Huh? You're not going to see us off?" Jade asked with a pained expression.
"You want me to come to see you off?" Y/n asked.
"Of course, you have to be there," Floyd said as he nuzzled Y/n's neck.
Jade picked Y/n up bridle style as they swam to a nearby shore, where Azul was waiting for them. Y/n staring up at the blue sky with wide eyes, this was the first time she saw the sky and sun in 9 years. She slowly wiggled out of Jade's grasps and took her first steps on land in what felt like forever. The microscopic organisms inside her gem body started to make more energy than it has before, she had never felt more awake in so long.
"Nee, Aqua-chan slow down," Floyd whined as Y/n turned to see Floyd and jade slowly crawling up the beach.
As they tried to stand on their new legs, Y/n chuckled and quickly tried to help the two stand. Yet the three once merpeople simply clung to the gem girl for support. So for the first few days, was full of Y/n helping them walk on their own, and watching them fall over many times, but they soon got the hang of things.
-----------
The time arrived when the carriage arrived, and Y/n though this was where they would part ways. Nope, Jade and Floyd managed to drag her into the carriage with them and bring her to the school, claiming she was the twins Familiar. Surprisingly the headmaster was okay with this, seeing that there was a couple of other students who had similar "Familiars". As the twins and Azul sat with the other students Y/n looked around the room to see other people like her. Near the Scarabia dorm students stood a girl with diamond hair, by a red-headed Heartslabyul student stood a girl with ruby hair, a Pomefiore man had a girl with Ametrine hair standing next to him, a girl with obsidian hair was holding a tablet that the Ignihyde dorm leader spoke through. Savanaclaw had a girl with long hair made of bort. Heck, the Headmaster seemed to have an assistant with Rutile hair.
Y/n simply stared in awe at the many varieties of gem people in the room. When the ceremony finished everyone funneled out of the room, as Y/n walked she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see it was the diamond girl from the other dorm. The two chatted away when they had to part ways into the dorm. The Octavinelle Dorm reminded Y/n a lot of the Coral Sea, and the sense of sleepiness came over her at the sudden lack of bright sunlight.
"Nee, Aqua-chan who was that other girl you were talking to?" Floyd asked as he hugged Y/n from behind.
"That was Dia, and she told me that rutile plans to put us to work and we will be helping around the school," Y/n explained.
"So you won't be staying by our side then?" Jade frowned slightly.
"Awww, that sucks, I was hoping to have Aqua-chan by our side the entire time," Floyd whined as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
_______
So while Azul and the twins studied in the classrooms, Rutile leads the gems outside to help around the school. From wiping down the windows to mowing the grass in the fields. One day during P.E while the 2nd and 1st-year students ran laps the Gem girls were on the side slicing grass with some obsidian blad and while Vargus had to step out of a few minutes. As the students rested, Y/n noticed something odd in the sky.
"Riddle, what is that?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know, Ruby," Riddle said as the rest of the students stopped to look as well.
As everyone watched in awe as the sounds of instruments could be heard. The black cover vanished revealing something odd.
"It's so pretty," Obsidian awed.
"I don't know, something is off about it," Idia whispered.
"What even is that?" Vil wondered.
Y/n stared up in wonder when memories flashed in her mind as fear started t wash over her. The figures in the sky drew their bows and readied their spears and tossed them down on the gem humans below. A spear sliced through Ruby's neck like butter, time slowed as everyone watched Ruby's head and body fall to the ground. Everyone screamed in panic as more arrows and spears rained from the sky.
"We don't have our pens!" Leona growled.
"Everyone back to the school !" Jamil shouted as everyone tried to run.
But when they tried to run spears and arrows cut them off. Y/n turned back to see Riddle trying to carry Ruby's body with him.
"Riddle!" Trey gasped as he hurried Riddle and let ruby's pieces behind.
Y/n looked down at her blade and back up at the attackers in the sky, suddenly her body acted on its own as she ran towards the cloud.
"Y/N!" Jade and Foyd gasped.
"What is she doing?!" Azul gasped.
As Arrows and spears rain down she deflected them with a swing of her sword and tossed some of them back at the enemy. suddenly weird golden lines that ended with hooks and gem spheres. They quickly extended down and wrapped around a fellow gem Ametrine, and quickly dragged her closer to the cloud.
"Ametrine!" Vil cried out.
Ametrine dug her heels into the ground to stop herself, the moment she struggled and pulled. The pins in the gem spheres were pulled out and exploded. When the smoke cleared, Ametrine was blown to pieces. Everyone watched in horror as a few figures from the cloud climbed down to collect the shattered gem pieces. Dia quickly acted and sliced through the enemy. Bort and Y/n jumped up to the vessel and began to slice away at the enemy, who poof away once defeated.
Y/n ran to the tall enter figure and sliced it in half with ease, but more grenade hooks shot out from the bottom half of the figure. Before they could wrap around Bort, Y/n quickly pushed them out of the way and grabbed at the rope. She hopped down from the vessel and pulled at the rope above the pinned hooks. Dia quickly helped Y/n pull as they ripped the center figure off the vessel, causing the who thing to poof out of the air, but not before a pin was pulled causing the grenades to explode.
"Aqua-Chan!" Floyd called out.
Vargus and Rutile ran out to see the shaken students and shattered and Damaged gem figures.
-----------
"Y/n, Y/n please open your eyes," Said a familiar voice.
"Aqua-chan," Said another voice.
Y/n's eye's opened slowly as her vision slowly came to her. Staring down at her were a pair of 2 mismatched eyes staring down at her.
"Floyd...Jade?" Y/n groaned as she slowly sat up.
But was tackled back down in a bear hug from the twins.
"Your back!" Floyd smiled.
"What happened to.. outside?" Y/n asked.
"Rutile came and put you and everyone back together, while Vargus took the human students back to the school. You were asleep for a week. You managed to defeat the strange enemy from the sky," Jade explained.
"What were you thinking, running towards danger like that. That was stupid Aqua-chan," Floyd pouted.
"As long as I can be put back together, I cannot die-,"
"They wanted to take you away from us," Jade said as he pulled Y/n close to him.
"They were going to steal you from us. Your our treasure, no one else's," Floyd said as the twins sandwiched the girl in a hug.

was this unnecessary? yes. am I going insane? probably. pls send hananene I'm dying
How did it get to this? Nene asked the same question over and over in her mind, as she sat still on unknown territory. It had water on the ground, so she could still identify it as a boundary.
It was a dark, rather dim looking boundary. Human bones were scattered around the ground, like someone deliberately piled them in one place and kept them there. And to make matters worse...
"Ah! It's Amane's assistant!"
The dreaded little brother of the Honorable No. 7 was also stuck with her.
How did it happen? She had no idea. All she remembered was she was with Hanako, trying to get rid of a rampaging apparition, then blacking out.
Shuddering at the sight of Tsukasa, it didn't really help that she was also sitting on human skeletons. Look, everything on the fear meter was cranked up to a maximum whenever he was there. The complete opposite of how she felt when Hanako was around.
Unfortunately, he shared the same face as his brother, so it surely did not make anything much better for poor Nene.
Well, it was better than being alone in a creepy boundary, at least.
"H-how did we get here?" She tried to speak to the boy, hoping he would settle for some civil conversation. Tsukasa tilted his head at her for a second, scratching his cheek.
"Hmm... dunno!" He cheerfully replied, with a big smile to top that. Nene sighed. She expected that answer sooner or later, especially from him.
She stood up, but a sudden pain forced her to sit back down quickly. She felt the pain sear on her right ankle. For some reason, she had sprained it, not too badly, but it hurt enough to make her back down.
Guess fear made her forget a lot of things.
"Geez... how are we supposed to get out of here?" Squinting her eyes, she tried to get any glimpse of a way out to the boundary, but all she got was a sea of darkness and more bones.
Honestly speaking, her leg hurt, everything was scary, and there was no sign of escape.
Everything's gonna be fine! Hanako-kun will come! He always does! It's just about a matter of time before he arrives!
Kept in her thoughts, she didn't notice Tsukasa making his way next to her, squatting down with his hands on his knees, eyes boring directly at her.
Nene flinched when his palm went to her cheek, and to her utter shock, his touch was surprisingly gentle. If it weren't for the intimidating stare he was giving her right now, it would have felt like it was Hanako and not Tsukasa.
"W... What is it?" Her voice was a little shaky.
"You're crying." Was his simple answer. She touched her other cheek, feeling the wetness travel down her skin.
Since when did she start crying?
"So...?" Nene struggled to form words, but it was rather hard when Tsukasa was invading her space by leaning even closer to her.
"That guy told me I'm supposed to be nice to girls. So," He put on that smile, moving his hand up to her head and pat her. "Everything will be okay! Yeah!"
She blinked owlishly, mouth parted open at his actions. It reminded her of their encounter back in the Mirror Hell, except it ended up with Tsukasa making her faint, which she rather not let it happen again.
If only he didn't look like Hanako-kun! I'm somehow scared of him, but at the same time I'm not! What's going on with you, Nene?!
A rumbling noise made her jump, and the ground beneath her began to shake. The bones rattled against the water, as the rumbling was replaced with loud stomping coming closer, accompanied by a ringing noise that was irritating to the ear.
To her horror, a gigantic skeleton appeared from the shadows, on a rampage. Its bony hands crushed the skulls underneath, roaring at an extreme volume.
While Nene stared on with fear, Tsukasa seemed... oddly delighted at the sight. Well, when was he not happy?
"Uwaah! It's an odokuro! I've always wanted to see one!"
"Y-you know what this is, Tsukasa-kun?" She trembled, looking back at the boy.
"Yeah! I heard they're indestructible. They take humans and gobble their heads up! Pretty cool, right?"
Not cool. Not cool at all. Nope.
The odokuro swiped a long arm around the boundary, as Nene squinted her eyes shut, preparing for impact. Not until she felt her body being lifted up from the mass of bones and suddenly—
"Hey, hey!" Tsukasa spoke next to her, and she opened her eyes, almost letting out a gasp. They were in the air, a few meters away from the giant skeleton, and he was carrying her princess style.
And if Nene was being honest, the heights they were on right now... didn't really help. Those sharp rib bones stuck out on the ground like spikes on a floor. A fall from that height would mean instant peril.
"Wait a moment! I might fall!" She unknowingly clung closer to him, not even noticing his eyes go wide at that. His attention, however, went back to the odokuro, who was scouring through the bones looking for them.
He smiled darkly.
"Oi, odokuro!" He waved a hand at the skeleton, getting its attention. "I got a tasty human for you! Come and get it!"
"Tsukasa-kun!" Nene screamed, and Tsukasa merely laughed at her face of pure terror. The skeleton screeched and started to make its way to them, the ground shaking at it's every step.
"I'm just kidding!" Sending out his kokujoudai, he lifted an arm forward, right in front of the odokuro. "Besides, I don't think Amane would like his assistant dead just yet!"
Nene didn't even have the chance to blink. The black will-o-wisps went in a flash, and in an instant, the skeleton shattered, destroying it completely.
She turned her head at Tsukasa, who was just staring ahead, not meeting her in the eye. The extent of his power never ceased to frighten her. Well, it was to be expected, he did manage to defeat a School Mystery IN their boundary back then.
But it bothered how he didn't hesitate to save her from the skeleton. Probably because of his attachment to Hanako, but Nene knew there was probably something more to that. Doing a favor for him? Or was he the one asking for a favor? Was she overthinking right now?
"Aww, it broke so easily! What a bummer." He sounded pouty, like a child who had broken their favorite toy. Descending down back on the ground, he poked at the remains of the odokuro with his kokujoudai, as if he was expecting for it to move.
"Oh well! Another one will come around soon!"
"Another one?! Not another one!" It was too much. She hid her face on his chest, not wanting to have to look at yet another giant skeleton approaching. She didn't care if this was Tsukasa, she was NOT having any of it!
"Hanako-kun, where are you..." She mumbled timidly, the tears starting to build up again. This whole situation was a mess. One, big, ridiculous mess. And on top of that, her leg still hurt like shit.
Tsukasa blinked, not expecting this sort of thing to happen. Here he was, standing, carrying that radish-legged assistant of his twin brother, who was currently crying onto his shirt. Oh, and did he mention she smelled good? Like, REALLY good?
(a/n: smh tsukasa always getting sidetracked with things he has a low attention span)
He promptly plopped himself in a sitting position, having Nene practically on his lap. She was too busy bawling her eyes out to notice, though, but she did flinch when he put his fingers under her chin, tilting her head to him, forcing her to meet him in the eye.
Teary-eyed, cheeks red. In his opinion, it was a good look for her.
"You're such a crybaby. Amane's assistant is such a crybaby." He commented like it was the funniest thing in the world. Nene mustered up a glare, forgetting that he could probably snap her neck in seconds.
"I have a name, you know."
Tsukasa looked up at the air, pretending to think, before turning back to her with a proud smile. "Can I call you radish legs then?"
"No!"
"Fish girl?"
"Absolutely not!"
"Then..." His eyes narrowed, and he almost looked like a predator out for the kill. "Nene?"
"...Eh?" She couldn't say another word at that. First name basis already? They weren't exactly friends, though.
"Amane calls you Yashiro, so I get to call you Nene!"
"Uh... s-sure." Nene just went along with it. Who knows what kind of crazy stuff would happen if she refused one more time.
"Ouch!" A yelp escaped her mouth when she accidentally moved her right ankle across the ground, as it began to react strongly with pain. Tsukasa observed her whimpering for a few moments, before reaching out and holding her by the shoulders.
"Eh—what are you—"
"Giving you a present." He smirked, leaning forward and she felt his lips press against her cheek.
Her eyes went wide, her heart began to pound fast. What was he doing?! What was he doing—
He lingered there about a few more seconds before pulling away, looking quite proud at himself. "Nene's very clumsy! I gave you a protection charm because rescuing you again would be too much work."
Nene put her hand on the cheek he had apparently cast a spell on, staring at him. For a moment, it was like Hanako had been there with her.
Maybe Tsukasa wasn't so bad if he just tried to? Emphasis on "tried".
Footsteps crunching on the bones approached them, as finally, Hanako and Kou had arrived. "Yashiro!"
"Hanako-kun!" She called out, wanting to stand, but Tsukasa's hold on her was really tightening for some reason. He didn't say much as a word, just watching as his brother and the young exorcist came closer.
"Tsukasa! Let her go!" Hanako readied his knife as Kou put himself in a fighting stance. Nene looked at Tsukasa, and he shrugged.
"I was just having fun with Nene! Can't I borrow her for a little more, Amane?"
"What?!" Both her and Hanako simultaneously shouted. Tsukasa chuckled, and as if to tease them, he let his fingers through her hair, leaning down close to her, cheek to cheek.
"She smells really good, Amane. And she's really warm. So that's why you cling to her a lot. I kinda like it!" He nuzzled his cheek against hers, ignoring her stuttering protests.
"Leave her alone, you bastard!" Kou shouted, gripping on his staff tightly as it began to spark with lightning. Tsukasa pulled away from the poor girl and pouted childishly.
"Aww man. Well... okay. Only because Amane's probably gonna cry soon. I would have wanted to see that, but..." He got up from the boundary floor, calmly walking up to Hanako, and just putting her into his arms like putting a sack away.
Nene automatically clung to Hanako as he unknowingly sighed with relief. Overall, he just couldn't stand being apart for this long.
"It was fun playing with you, Nene! I'll be seeing you real soon!" Snapping his fingers, Tsukasa vanished along with his kokujoudai, leaving a trail of black smoke behind.
"We should get out of here, too. Let's go, kid."
--
"Hey, Yashiro." Hanako asked. He and Nene were in the school's infirmary, while Kou went to fetch the school nurse. Nene sat on the bed, trying not to move her hurting leg too much.
"Yeah?"
"What did... what did Tsukasa do? Did he hurt you?" He seemed to be really worried and scared, as she could now see through his tone. Putting a hand on top of his, she smiled at him.
"He didn't hurt me, Hanako-kun. He was surprisingly... nice. He saved me from that giant skeleton that appeared before you came."
"Oh." Was all he could say. Inwardly, he was a little jealous his little brother was the one who rescued her this time. And calling her by her first name?! Very unfair!
"Ah, and he... also... uh..." Nene shyly averted her eyes from him, as Hanako looked at her with curiosity. "He also gave me a protection charm, just like the one you gave me before."
He blinked. Protection charm. Protection charm. Protection char—
Wait.
Squinting his eyes, he noticed the faint outline of something on her skin, and he probably was now going to lose it very soon.
There, written in black, was the number seven. Tsukasa's own spell.
Hanako felt like a heavy anvil dropped on his head and crushed him.
And as if it weren't already worse enough, Tsukasa suddenly appeared out of nowhere, immediately tackling Nene from behind with a hug. "Nene!!"
"T-Tsukasa-kun?!"
"Did you like my present, Amane? Looks great, right?" He cheekily smirked at Hanako, who was now in the middle of snapping.
"WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" Hanako yelled angrily, as his twin laughed.
"Just because!"
"AND WHY WOULD YOU CALL HER BY HER FIRST NAME?!!"
"Only cuz you wouldn't! Right, Nene?" Tsukasa poked Nene on the cheek.
Nene tiredly sighed. It was too stressful to deal with this right now.
Things were going to get weird now, and she didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that.

Imagine if Hanako was Literally a Flower Spirit
@rapidfur Surprise, surprise! XD hehe
What happens:
Once upon a time in Kamome Academy
Yashiro was busy in the school's practice garden
Since she's a member of the gardening club, she helped out with tending to the plants and vegetables
One day as she was walking through a field of red camellias
She spotted a blue rose that stood out yet was nearly hidden by the others
'So pretty!' Yashiro immediately thought.
'What's a blue rose doing in the middle of the field of red camellias?'
She was also thinking how romantic it would be if someone gave her one
She's never seen a blue rose before nor even knew if they existed.
The rose was drooping a little from lack of nutrients and Yashiro quickly tended to it
Giving it plenty of water
And putting the blue rose in its own flower pot
She decided to keep the rose for herself in the garden
Perhaps it would bring her good fortune
Yashiro wanted to name the blue rose
Naming it "Aoi" for its color would be confusing since she had a best friend with that name already
So she decided on Hanako
Hanako would be a nice female name for a flower
Yashiro left the blue rose in the garden as she went home for the day
The next day
She came back to the garden to see how the blue rose was doing
To find a strange boy sitting around near the plant
The boy saw her come by and he floated towards her all excited
"Ah! You're finally here!"
Yashiro blinked in confusion
Was she dreaming right now? Did he just float?
"Who are you?" Yashiro asked.
"Who me? I'm Hanako! That's the name you gave me! I'm the blue rose you saved yesterday!"
Yashiro: "Huh?! Wait, you're a boy?!"
That really shouldn't be the first thing she asks. There were far bigger questions.
Hanako: "Yes! I am and I'm a flower spirit! It's nice to meet you!"
So, that's how it all began.
In the beginning of their relationship, Yashiro had freaked out and went to go show Aoi the blue rose
Aoi looked at her in confusion though
Aoi: "Nene-chan, are you daydreaming again? That's a very nice flower pot you have but there's no rose there."
And that's how Yashiro came to realize only she could see the blue rose spirit Hanako
And she got used to him over time
During Yashiro's gardening activities, Hanako would come bother her.
Hanako: "Pay attention to me, Yashiro! I need water!"
He would roll around the dirt and whine
And often clung onto her as she removed the weeds from the garden with everyone else
He loved to greet her with a "Flower you today, Yashiro?"
And teased her to "smell the roses"
Yashiro reacted by saying that while she understood the phrase, she would not do that to him literally
Yashiro would rant to him about her latest attempts to confess to her crushes and asked Hanako to bring her good luck
Hanako: "What am I? Your good luck charm?"
Yashiro: "Yes!"
There was a time when Yashiro wanted to play a trick on Hanako
She brought in some fake plants and watered them for a couple of days
And then she told him, "Ha! You've been watching me water these fake plants for a few days now!"
Hanako's response surprised her
Hanako: "I thought it was really nice that you cared a lot for them despite them not being alive."
He had a solemn look on his face for a bit before he went on to tease her about how she thought he fell for it
He claimed he was able to feel the spirits of the flowers so he could tell right away if they were fake
Yashiro became flustered and playfully hit him
To think that her trick backfired on her
The other gardening members noticed Yashiro was being more talkative than usual
But it wasn't weird to them
Talking to plants actually helps them grow faster (more so to a female's voice than a male's)
They thought Yashiro planted a seed in her flower pot and wanted to help it grow faster
Aoi later commented on Yashiro's recent behavior to her best friend
Aoi: "Nene-chan, you seem more happier than before. Did something good happen?"
Yashiro: "Huh? What do you mean?"
Aoi: "Well back then, you didn't actually talk that much to plants and you weren't crazy about the club. It was as if you were only gardening to impress someone. But now, you seem like you're having fun! It's so nice to see you being genuinely happy to take care of your new plant."
Yashiro was astonished but as expected of her best friend to notice.
She really did have a good time with Hanako.
...If only she saw what was coming
It was almost a week already and Yashiro stopped by to see Hanako again in the garden
To see him kneeling strangely on the floor and breathing funny
Yashiro started to panic at the sight as she ran towards him
Yashiro: "Hanako-kun?! Hanako-kun, what's wrong?!'
Hanako: "Ah, Yashiro...."
Yashiro: "Did you not get enough sunlight? Should I have moved you to a different location? Did I give you enough water? Wh-"
Hanako: "Yashiro! Calm down, Yashiro..."
Yashiro was crying now
Her tears were falling onto the ground and dampening the soil
Yashiro: "What did I do wrong...?"
Hanako: "Yashiro, it's not your fault. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
Yashiro: "Huh?"
Hanako: "Roses only last up to about a week."
Yashiro: "No...."
She completely forgot
Hanako: "You've made me really happy, Yashiro. You could say you were my sunshine..."
They both tried to laugh but failed horribly.
Yashiro continued to sob
She never cried so hard for a flower before
Yashiro: "I don't want you to go, Hanako-kun..."
Hanako: "I'm afraid I can't grant that wish. Besides, I wasn't even supposed to exist. I don't exist."
Yashiro: "Huh?"
Hanako: "Blue roses are a myth. A fantasy of longing and desire. Did you know, Yashiro?"
Hanako intertwined his fingers with hers.
Hanako: "They could mean an unattainable love."
Yashiro: "Is that why I have such terrible luck with confessing?"
Hanako: "Eh-? Well you don't have to interpret it that way!"
Already, Hanako was slowly fading away
Hanako: "Yashiro...thank you"
When he completely faded, all that was left was the flower pot. No wilted flower. Nothing but soil in the flower pot.
Yashiro hugged the pot to herself as she cried her heart out.
She later buried the soil that nourished Hanako back in the field of red camellias as they represented his ashes.
Yashiro started speaking aloud
"Did you know, Hanako-kun? Red camellias mean love, passion, and deep desire."

a promise more powerful than hanakotoba.
characters: hanako, yashiro pairing: hanako/yashiro series: jibaku shounen hanako-kun ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/24041686
After their predicament with No. 4 was resolved, life for Hanako regrettably went back to normal.
Too normal, he thought, eyeing Yashiro carefully when she wasn’t watching.
Yashiro was acting as if nothing had happened. Normally, he could read her like an open book, so for her to be scrubbing away at floors and digging holes into the ground in her garden with such high levels of enthusiasm was completely throwing him for a loop.
In No 4.’s painting, she had found out about her short lifespan.
Not only that, but it was obvious Hanako had hid it from her— as well as made a valiant effort to trap her in a fake world she wanted no part of. He pretended to be Amane Yugi and acted as if he had no clue what she was talking about when she addressed him as “Hanako-kun.”
No matter his intentions, he felt nothing but guilt and concern when he thought about it. Normally, he would have thought she would yell, cry, hit him, get in his face— Yashiro was generally a very expressive girl, especially when it came down to things she felt strongly about.
So why did she seem so happy now?
As Hanako thought, he just couldn’t leave her alone.
“Ya~shi~ro!” His voice was playfully melodic as he approached her from behind, his hands latching onto her shoulders.
“Uwah!” Immediately, she jumped up with a yelp, not having heard him approach. “H-hanako-kun?! What is it?”
“Why are you plowing new rows at a time like this? Don’t you already have enough plants?” Hanako floated in midair, pouting, and leaned into Yashiro’s back as he propped his chin on her shoulder. “Hey, hey, can’t we do something together? Come oooon, I’m booooored!”
“Hanako-kun, get off of me!” She waved her plow around impatiently, attempting to shove him off. Persistent as he was, he didn’t budge. “I have to finish this before I go home! It’s really, really, really important!”
Pressing his cheek into Yashiro’s, Hanako peered over her shoulder at the garden.
“Is it really that important?” He questioned, his voice portraying his curiosity. “Isn’t it just the same as what you normally do?”
“No! It’s not, so get off already!”
“Hmmm…” Hanako hummed, deciding to obey. As much as he loved taking up Yashiro’s personal space and keeping annoyingly close, he didn’t want to piss her off too much — especially when he was on the hunt for information.
“I’m just about done plowing, and then I have to sow the seeds.” Now that she had some room to breathe, Yashiro was back to her usual, smiley self (it really was weirding him out), and she pulled a packet of seeds out to show him. “They’re flowers! Look at the picture, won’t they be super, suuuuuper pretty when they grow?! Aaaahhh, I can’t wait!”
“Flowers?” Hanako was drawing blanks. Didn’t she usually plant vegetables? “What for? Won’t those just give you more work?”
“They will, but, think about it Hanako-kun!” She jammed her plow into the ground and clasped her hands together, eyes sparkling. “What better way to confess your love than with hanakotoba?! Yes, that’s right! I, Yashiro Nene, will plant the perfect flowers to give to Minamoto-senpai!”
“Uh-huh…”
“And then he wouldn’t be able to help but fall for me!” Yashiro continued. Abruptly, she took on the manliest tone she could muster, and Hanako didn’t bother hiding his snickering. “Ah, Nene-chan, these camellias are beautiful… this one is red… could it mean... you’re in love with me?”
“Pfft! Didn’t you already give up on that guy?” He strongly felt the urge to glomp her again, if only to get her mind off confessing to some prince-charming-school-president-excorcist-guy whom she barely knew. No, he wasn’t jealous at all. “And anyway, why go through all that effort to plant them if you could just buy them from the store? Isn’t that kind of silly?”
“No, they have to be home grown or it wouldn’t mean anything!” She shook her head vehemently, squeezing the package of seeds in her hands. “I’ve never planted flowers before… and anyway, camellia shrubs bloom every year, you know? Even if I’m not here, they’ll...  they’ll grow back...“
Her voice trailed off, and her gaze fell to the ground. If Hanako had a beating heart, it surely would have stopped as he saw tears well in her eyes.
“Yashiro…” he reached a hand out slowly, but didn’t touch her— at this moment in time, for whatever reason, it felt she was extremely fragile. Like if he were to even brush her shoulder, she would shatter, and disappear from existence entirely.
He had known she wasn’t okay. It was good he came to check on her after all. But what could he do for her…? He was dead, himself, after all.
“E-even when I’m… d-dead… they’ll grow for everyone to see…!” Yashiro’s tears flowed freely now, and through her crying, she could barely get out a sentence. “S-so maybe everyone… will still remember me…! Aoi-chan... Kou-kun…”
He couldn’t stand to see her like this. His body was already physically cold from death, but watching her cry and panic about her future left him frozen.
Yashiro had always been a crybaby. He didn’t like to watch her cry under any circumstances, but this was on another level entirely. What could he possibly do? Tell her the future was wrong? Try as he might, he didn’t know that for certain. Honestly, the chances of saving her were so slim anyway, he couldn’t bear to think about it himself.
This was exactly why he wanted to keep her in No 4.’s drawing. She would have been happy. She would have lived forever.
Damn it all.
Wordlessly, he pulled her into a tight embrace, one hand moving up to smooth out her hair. Instantly, she clung on tight to him and sobbed her heart out— and it was thankful she couldn’t see his expression from how they were positioned, because he felt like he could cry, too.
“H-hanako-kun… I don’t want to die! I’m… I’m going to die, right?! R-really soon… even though I’m still so young…!”
“Yashiro… I…” he gave her a tight squeeze, continuing to pet her hair as his other hand rubbed circles into her back. “...”
“What’s going to happen to me?! What about my f-family?! I still… haven’t dated anyone yet…! And I won’t g-get to see you anymore…!”
“...” Hanako bit his lip, holding back his own crushing despair. Had he ever really cried before as a ghost? He wasn’t certain. A thought struck his mind suddenly, and he said the words without giving himself time to think about them. “... Mermaid scales…”
“Huh?” Curiosity must have gotten the best of her, because her crying calmed down some. “H-hanako-kun… what do you mean…?”
“... Ah… it’s just…” he wasn’t entirely sure. He didn’t want to lie to her, but… it was a possibility. “Y’know? The mermaid’s curse. We’re connected by a bond… it’s why we can touch each other, even though I’m not human. The curse... transcends life and death.”
“What are you saying then…?” Only sniffling now, Yashiro pulled back to look Hanako in the eye — and he immediately looked away.
“I’m going to save you, Yashiro.” He muttered, staring at the package of seeds she clenched in her hands. Carefully, he reached a hand to grasp hers, gently unraveling her fingers from the seeds and allowing the package to fall to the grass. He slowly linked their hands together. “I’ll do whatever it takes. So… I don’t want you to worry about any of this. But...”
“B-but…?”
“... if for some reason, it does come to that…” Hanako squeezed her hand, and gathered his courage before looking her straight in the eye. He wanted to show Yashiro he was serious— he didn’t know how much comfort it would bring, but if he couldn’t even look at her when making such important promises, then what good was it to even say them?
“If for some reason, your future comes true, I won’t go anywhere. You’ll still have me. We can still see each other, and spend a lot of time together… okay?” Unable to keep up the eye contact any longer, he hugged her again, burying his face in her shoulder. “I know it’s not much, but at least you won’t lose me. I’ll never let you go. So don’t cry, okay?”
“H-hanako-kun…” Yashiro whimpered.
She wasn’t talking much… of course not. As much as Hanako wanted to help, it was only expected for a human in the face of death to have this kind of reaction.
Death was death.
He’d been a school mystery for 50 years. He wouldn’t dare call it an extension of his life. This was an atonement for his sins, nothing more. Bound to the school, his existence controlled by rumors and his duties alike… this wasn’t living. He was nothing more than a cog in the school’s wheel, helping it function the way it should.
Yashiro was the best thing to happen to him in his 50 years as a ghost. Spirits only existed because they had regrets— they weren’t happy, by any means. Everyone sought release. And what came from release— from fulfilling the regrets you had when you were living— was nothing.
That was your reward. Nothing.
All he could do was comfort her, and try his best to change her future.
“Yashiro.” He murmured. Hanako was relieved to feel the girl relaxing slowly in his arms, the tension in her shoulders easing.
“... You really won’t go anywhere?” One of her hands clung to the clothing on his back. “You’ll stay with me?”
“I won’t leave you alone.” If Yashiro’s spirit stuck around the school, he would undoubtedly stay by her side. If she immediately passed on… perhaps their shared curse would keep them connected. He could only ride on that hope.
A moment of silence passed between them, before Yashiro spoke up.
“Hey, Hanako-kun.”
To his surprise, she withdrew from his embrace, and gave him a peck on the cheek before he had time to react. Hanako stared at her dumbly, his mouth agape, and though her eyes were wet and red and swollen, the smile she wore left him dazzled.
“You were worried for me, right? I’m sorry I cried like that so suddenly…” she directed her gaze to her feet, saving Hanako the trouble of hiding his embarrassment from the sudden kiss. “You’re always watching out for me… so I just… wanted to thank you.”
Quickly rebounding from his fluster, he grabbed her chin, leaned in close, and tilted her head up so their eyes met. Hanako forced a smirk, despite all of the fears and shyness and anxiety and sadness he felt, he couldn’t let himself lose his composure when he was meant to be the one comforting her — really, Yashiro, why were you so worried for him when this situation affected you the most?
“I told you before, right? That you would repay me with your body.” Seizing his opportunity to change the mood, he said what was probably the dumbest thing that came to mind, in the most sultry tone possible. Misdirection! His specialty! “Do you really think I would let you go so easily?”
“Wha—?! What are you saying?! You jerk!” She shoved him away, pouting. “And here I thought you were actually worried about me! I don’t understand you at all! Why can’t you be more like Minamoto-senpai?! Geez, you’re such a pain!”
Operation: make Yashiro think about something else — success! Well, she might be mad, but she was a lot more energetic this way.
“Ah!” Hanako made a scene of glancing up at the sky, before picking up the package of seeds she had dropped on the ground earlier. Time to send her home. “Hey, Yashiro, isn’t it already too dark outside to finish this?”
“Wah!! My flowers!” She checked the time on her phone, before whining again. “When did it get this late?! Geez!!”
Yashiro reached out to swipe her flower seeds, but he immediately floated backwards, holding them in the air above him dramatically.
“Give them back! I need to plant them!”
“Nuh-uh! No way. You don’t need these anymore.”
“But hanakotoba—”
“I’m telling you, you don’t need it.” Through the growing darkness, Hanako smirked. “If we’re changing your future, there’s no reason to plant these, is there? Just go home for the night. Your family’s gonna worry.”
“Oh.” Yashiro’s expression transitioned from surprise, to understanding, and then finally to a small, content smile. “... I guess you’re right, huh…”
“Of course I am. So stop worrying so much about it and go home already.”
“... Okay.” Her smile widened, and once again, she attempted to approach him. Hanako held the seeds even higher above his head, but allowed her to walk up to him, watching her closely for any funny business.
Though, all she did was hug him.
“Yashiro…?”
“Thank you, Hanako-kun.” She gave him a tight squeeze, before backing off. “Okay, well I think I’m going to head home now! Ahhhhh, my family will be so worried…!”
“Okay…” he watched as she headed off towards the exit. Abruptly, she stopped, turned around, and flashed him another bright smile— illuminated by the lamps lighting the pathway.
“Hanako-kun really is the best! Bye-bye, see you tomorrow!” She waved, and ran off towards her home.

Pale blue eyes were locked on him, wide with shock and welling with tears. Sitting up, Koge had one of Bakugou’s old blazers in her lap, sewing up a hole he had made. A single candle rested on the bedside table, creating just enough light for her to see. Sewing and tailoring clothes had always been one of her skills, so the fact that she was doing it wasn’t what shocked him. The fact that she was up literally in the middle of the night fixing one of his blazers was. In fact, it was so bizarre that he couldn’t help but give a short chortle, smile spreading across his lips. “Utsuro… You do realize that one is so old it doesn’t fit me anymore, right?”
Koge blinked at the sound of his voice, the tears spilling down her cheeks. “O-oh… I…” She looked down at the dark red fabric, running her hand along it to smooth it out a bit across her lap. “I just… I remembered that you had torn it, and… I figured I could fix it and perhaps make it a bit bigger in the arms for you. Then it would… It would fit.” Hands trembling, she gripped onto the fabric tightly, keeping her head down. “You’re… You’re a hallucination.”
Bakugou frowned, reaching up to remove his hood. “So what if I am. I’m here, aren’t I?” He took a few steps closer to the bed, gripping onto the wooden footboard, which creaked under his weight as he leaned on it. Koge gave a small jump at the sound, quickly looking back up at her lover in surprise. “I suppose…” Sticking her needle into a pin cushion, Koge folded up the blazer and placed it down beside her carefully. “Katsuki… Seeing you here just confirms that I’m crazy. Losing you has made me completely lose my mind. Everyone thinks that, so it must be true.”
“Do you think you’re crazy?” Bakugou questioned, hating to see her so down. Though, his keen eyes caught onto something that he hadn’t noticed before, something he had no idea about. The scars that adorned her wrists told him that she had tried to end her own life sometime after his disappearance, and the guilt that immediately crushed him filled him with a sense to flee. His stupid actions had hurt her more than any physical pain he had gone through, all because he had decided to act like a child. How stupid and selfish he had been made him sick, and he wanted nothing more than to take all her suffering away.
With a small shake of her head, Koge pushed the blankets off of her legs, her pale skin glowing against the flickering candle flame. “I know I’m not crazy. I knew all this time that you were still alive, and I know that I kissed you the other day. The bruises on my arms prove it.” Although she brought a hand up to touch the yellowing bruise on her left arm, Bakugou wasn’t looking at it. All his attention was on the rest of her body, how perfect she looked in that silk shift that clung to her curves. It hung off one shoulder, tempting him with an enticing view of her neck. He hated that all he could think about was sinking his teeth into her when he should be holding and comforting her.
“You’re not crazy. And I’m not a hallucination. I’m really here.” He held a hand out towards her. “I… didn’t mean to bruise you like that. I’m still working on… controlling my strength, even when I’m not spooked.” Koge glanced from his hand up to his face, feeling a panic beginning to bubble in her stomach. She wanted to take his hand, but then what? He had claimed that he couldn’t come back to her, so what was all this?
“Katsuki… Why are you here?”
Bakugou’s expression turned a bit stern, though he only motioned with his hand for her to come to him. ”I… can’t stay away. Come to me.” Koge felt happiness beginning to swell within her heart, a hint of a smile forcing its way through. Although she was still a bit cautious, she shifted her body down the bed towards him, not shy about her shift sliding further up her legs. The closer she got to him, the more his scent filled her senses. He smelled so good, like warm caramel, and it didn’t help that he looked absolutely gorgeous in the candlelight. It took every inch of her self control to not leap onto him, though her focus was shattered has he suddenly let out a hiss, yanking his hand back and stepping away from the bed.
Without really noticing, Koge had reached out to take his hand. The negative reaction from her touch startled her so badly that she quickly backed up, clutching her hand closer to her chest. “O-Oh no, Katsuki, I--”
“It’s not you.” Bakugou hissed between his teeth, glaring down at the red and irritated skin on his index finger. “It’s your ring.”
“My ring?” Koge looked down at the piece of jewelry that adorned her finger, suddenly feeling a rush of fear at the thought that she would have to remove it to be able to touch him. “Why my ring?” Bakugou gave a small shake of his hand as the pain faded, returning to his spot at the end of the bed. “It’s silver. I… Can’t touch silver. Can you take it off just while I’m here?”
“I… Okay.” With a deep breath to calm herself, she carefully pried the ring from her finger, feeling instantly vulnerable without it. Still, her wanting to touch him was stronger than her need to keep it on, so she carefully placed it down onto the bedside table next to the flickering candle. The soft clink it made against the wood made her stomach lurch a bit, having not seen the ring anywhere but her finger since he first proposed to her. It was the only thing she had left that truly tied her to him, and now, she had to get rid of it to be with him. If this was all truly in her mind, then losing it during whatever psychotic break this could be would ruin her. But if it was real, if he was truly standing at the end of the bed they once shared, then that meant that she would have him back.
Tenderly touching the now vacant spot on her finger, Koge looked back towards her lover, who was waiting silently for her to make a decision. She could see the frustration in his furrowed brow, the longing in his crimson gaze perfectly matching her own. Without another thought, Koge moved down the bed towards him, taking his hand as he reached it out towards her. It was as if a spark rushed through them, short circuiting any rational thought or reluctantancy. Before either of them could even stop or think, Koge had her arms around Bakugou’s neck, kissing him passionately.
But, as she kissed him, she realized nothing was how it had been. It was all so much more intense, from both sides. He tasted like heaven and smelled so delicious that she found herself hopelessly drawn to him, wanting to kiss and touch every inch of him. The lust that Koge felt was nothing she had ever experienced before, even from back when their relationship first began. Even the way he touched her, holding her body tightly against his with his hands eagerly exploring her back, was different. Sure, it was something that Koge had expected, for them to want each other so badly that the entire interaction would be nothing but crazed sex. But this was different.
It was as if everything about him made her want him. It felt… dangerous, like she was a fish attracted to a shiny lure, only to meet her death at the end of a hook and a skillet over fire. She thought it was odd that she would compare herself to a meal, like he was going to eat her. It almost felt that way, like all his passion was driven from hunger.
And, if Bakugou were honest with himself, it was. By now, he had grown used to the typical routine of feeding, attracting women to him with just a glance, whisking them away with false promises, only to provide them with a very unpleasant night. Typically, it was common for those of his kind to enjoy a bit of fun before they fed, but that was something that Bakugou had refused to do, no matter how enticing the thought. Just because he had vanished from the world of the living didn’t mean that his soul no longer belonged to Koge. It had and always would.
Thus, his raging hunger and sexual desire were fighting with each other. On one hand, he wanted to make love to her, to feel her and shower her in the affection they had both been robbed of. But, on the other hand, he wanted to rip into her flesh like a crazed animal, to fuck her while draining her of life. He couldn’t believe how strong his negative desires were, even after a hefty feeding the night before. It made him feel disgusting, for thinking such a thing of the woman that he loved. He could only hope that his love for her would be enough to tame him.
Koge released a soft gasp at the feeling of his hands gripping onto her backside, catching his gaze as the kiss paused. Having been lost in the heat, she hadn’t even noticed that her shift had been pulled up, nor did she remember bringing her hands around to fiddle with the buttons of his cloak. With the snap of the last one coming free, they both allowed the heavy cloth to fall free from his shoulders to become a lifeless lump on the floor. “Why do you wear that, Katsuki? To hide your new haircut?” Koge teased playfully, her fingers moving to the buttons of his vest as he kissed her. Once that clothing was also discarded, Bakugou hoisted himself up over the footboard, scooping her small frame up into his arms as he did so.
“That’s the first thing you comment on, Utsuro? My fucking hair? Of all the dumb shit to notice first--” He lied her down beneath him, pausing for just a split second as he yanked his shirt off over his head. Koge’s shift was quick to follow, leaving her bare and vulnerable. Bakugou had no time to admire her, however, locked in her embrace and entranced by her lips. That didn’t stop his hands from wandering, sliding up her sides to caress her breasts.
With the release of her first sweet moan, Bakugou felt an intense swell of hungry passion rush through his body, the urge to feed off her becoming only stronger. In an instant, it nearly overwhelmed him, forcing him to sit up and release her. “God fucking damn it, I can’t do it!” Panting heavily from the rush of primal urges, he glared up at the white ceiling, watching the dancing shadows created by the flickering candle flame. He couldn’t even look at her, too scared that the sight of her nude body would break his control. “I’m not strong enough… I don’t trust myself not to hurt you.”
Laying there in her own bewildered state, Koge timidly covered her chest with her arms, trying to catch her breath. The fact that he couldn’t even look at her was heavy on her battered heart, and guilt was beginning to creep over her. She felt selfish, wanting him so badly that she didn’t even think about how hard it might be for him. There was the tangible weight on her mind that nothing would be as it had, even if he was truly by her side again. She wanted so badly for things to be normal, for him to love and touch her as he always had. It had almost been a reality, teasing her with every touch or kiss. Now, it was cracking, threatening to shatter if she didn’t find a way to pull him back.
“Let’s… Let's slow down, Katsuki.” Slowly, Koge sat up, taking it upon herself to pull her blanket over her body. Taking a deep, trembling breath of his own, Bakugou finally turned his gaze down to her once he was confident she was covered. The dejected look on her face only made him feel worse, and as he flopped to sit he rested his elbows onto his knees. Hiding his face in his hands, he let out a groan of frustration.
“I’m fucking worthless, Koge… After everything I’ve put you through, I try to come back and just… Fix it. Somehow. And I can’t even fucking touch you without… Without--”
“Wanting to feed off me. Right?” Koge caught his gaze as Bakugou lifted his head from his hands. He was surprised that she was so quick to understand, even though he really hadn’t revealed anything to her. It was the conversation she had with Dokuji, he assumed, that had truly tipped her off about what he had become. Now that he was here and she could physically touch him, she no longer doubted what had been told to her.
Deciding there was no point in hiding any of it, Bakugou gave a nod, reaching up to rub the back of his neck. His expression and body language told Koge that he was ashamed of how he felt, so with a slow and gentle touch, she placed a hand on his knee. “It’s not your fault, Katsuki… You can’t help it. You’ve… done really well, though. You got me naked, at least.” She cracked a smile and a small giggle, lifting Bakugou’s spirits just enough to not feel like a monster.
“I can’t believe you don’t hate me… After everything.” Bakugou let his hand rest over hers, softly stroking her skin with his thumb. Koge made no further moves, letting him adjust at his own pace, though a swell of emotion brought a burning to her eyes at how cold his touch was. She hadn’t really noticed during the heat of their moment before, but now it was near shocking. There was no heat. No life.
“I could never hate you,” Koge spoke softly, fighting back her raging emotions. “Never. I’m so happy you’ve come back to me, Katsuki.” She clutched onto the fabric of his pants as her voice hitched. “But I’m also scared… What if you can’t stand to be around me, now? I won’t survive losing you again.”
“You don’t have to be scared of that… Nothing will keep me away from you now. But I… There are rules I have to keep following. Or she might want to get rid of you…” Bakugou slowly slid his hand up Koge’s arm, stopping at the yellowing bruise that he had left on her. In response to his touch, Koge shifted herself just a bit closer to him, though she kept her body hidden behind the blankets.
“Why don’t you just tell me everything… From the beginning. So that I can understand, and maybe we can just… work this out.” Koge couldn’t resist nuzzling her face into his palm as he caressed her cheek, her skin flushing at the rough feeling of his thumb wiping away the rogue tears. With a sigh, Bakugou glanced out at the night sky, trying to gauge how much time he had left. Although the thought of being caught out in the sun weighed heavy on his mind, he didn’t want to leave her, nor did he want to give her a watered down version of what happened and what was now his reality. She deserved to know it all.
And so, he told her. For hours he went on, describing in detail all the things that he could remember. From the first moment of following Izuku Midoriya into the forest to scare him, finding that they were instead forced into a fate that, in his opinion, no one deserved. It took him two months to fully transition, and he was pretty positive that he had been dead for the majority of it. He couldn’t remember how it was done to him or what the entire process entailed, nor could he ever get anyone else to tell him about it. He then spent the next five months locked up, fighting to learn how to control his rage and new found strength before he could be trusted outside.
Bakugou admitted that, at the time, he had completely forgotten about her. He didn’t remember anything from before, his need to kill and feed clouding his mind entirely. He couldn’t remember how to be human. The one who helped him the most, out of the entire clan, was Seijirou. That ‘kook’, as Bakugou called him, was the only one who could get through to him, and that was only because Bakugou could recognize him. And, upon recognizing him, the memories of his lover, friends and family slowly returned.
That is what made him calm down enough to be allowed freedom, his wanting to be able to see Koge again.
“So…” Koge spoke up quietly when there was a moment of silence, softly running her fingers along his arm. During the hours of conversation, the two had moved to lay down, Koge dressed in his shirt while they cuddled beneath the blankets. Keeping things at a relatively low level of intimacy seemed to allow him enough control to be this close to her, and with her head resting on his chest, the only thing she had to complain about was the lack of heartbeat. “Now you’re Lady Kayama’s… clan member? You hunt for her and protect her territory. That’s why you roam the streets at night.”
“Mhmm…” Bakugou watched his hand as he ran his fingers through her white locks, having been stroking the same area for a good twenty minutes, now. “As long as I am here, I have to listen to her. If I don’t want to be killed or punished…”
“It’s so odd to hear you say that you have to obey someone. You, my stubborn Katsuki…” A yawn forced its way though her lips, closing her eyes as she nuzzled her face further into his chest. “She would be really angry if she found out about this… right?”
“Yeah. I’ve been watching you and visiting for a few months now… Lighting your fire. I also went to visit the flowers every time you replaced them. I’ve even been taking one, I have them drying out in a book. I remember you showed me that trick once.” Caressing the back of her neck, he kissed the top of her head softly, able to feel how she smiled against his skin and the heat in her cheeks. “Lots of stupid mushy shit, you know…”
“Because you still love me.” Koge tilted her head up to catch his gaze, worry obvious on her furrowed brow. “Right? Those feelings aren’t… different?”
“No, Koge. If anything, they’re stronger. Because now I know what it feels like to not have you… And I can’t imagine a life - an eternity - without you.” Bakugou kissed her softly, holding her body closer. “I still want you as my wife… But--”
“Change me, then.” The lack of hesitation in her proposal made Bakugou pause, staring down at her in shock for a moment before he shook his head.
“I… Don’t know how it works. They won’t tell me and… Biting obviously doesn’t work, because when I feed, nothing happens. Are you even sure you want to? It’s… painful and you might not make it through.”
Koge placed her hand on his cheek, stroking his fair skin softly with her thumb. “We can figure out how. But once we do, I want it to happen. I’d rather take the chance then spend my entire life only seeing you at night and growing old without you.”
“You’ll have to leave everything behind… Nene, my parents… No one can know we’re still alive… or, alive-ish.”
“You know I’d follow you to the other side of the world, Katsuki. No one would miss me, anyway. Everyone thinks I’m some kind of insane witch, your parents are sick of me, and Nene barely tolerates me…” The reminder of just how outcased she had become brought new tears to her eyes, though she held them back the best she could. “No, I don’t belong here anymore… I belong with you.”
Bakugou found himself at a loss for words at the moment, contemplating her words. If he were honest with himself, he wanted more than anything for her to be like him, so he could kiss and caress her without any need to restrain himself. He wanted to love her at his fullest, and with this new barrier between them, he knew that he couldn’t, not without risking putting her in danger.
Sharing another loving kiss, Bakugou answered her with silent affection, which Koge took as an agreement. When their kiss parted, Koge sighed softly in happiness, an emotion that she thought had been forgotten. “I love you so much, Katsuki. I still can’t believe you came back to me… That I get to kiss you again and hear your voice. I never thought I would.”
“I love you, too, Koge. You should rest, now…”
“I don’t want to. You’ll be gone when I wake up.” Although she was defiant, she snuggled her body closer to him, resting comfortably. Bakugou went back to stroking her hair softly, giving a heavy sigh.
“Yes… But just know that I’ll be back every night. Unless I have to eat...”
Koge giggled softly, already beginning to drift off. “That’s a good idea… I don’t want to become dinner….” With that, Koge found herself lost to the dark grip of unconsciousness, dreaming of her lovers smile and his hands against her skin.
It was a disappointment, however, to wake up alone. The sun shone bright through her window, forcing a groan from her lips as she turned her head into her pillow. Though, as she shifted, she felt something in her hand, hearing it crumple against her grip. Curious, she suffered through the blinding light to look down at it, finding a piece of paper folded up in her palm. Opening it carefully, she first found her engagement ring, followed by words sprawled across the paper. They were more than just a simple message. It was proof that he had truly been there, that everything she had felt and been told wasn’t just a dream. Her lover was a being that could walk this Earth, and in that moment, she made a silent vow to never let him slip from her fingers again.
Don’t forget this. I’ll be back tonight for my shirt.

The Calmness of the Garden
A/N: I wanted to write something for Masashi/Kiyoko for years now, given how much @yourmoontothenightsky ships them and as I had a bit time in the bus today I did so ; 7 ; So welp, here it is.
Ever since Nene and Momo happened to meet each other by coincidence in a mall a long while ago, the two had made sure to not let their contact break off again. Which resulted in their two respective families meeting each other time to time. It was something that Kiyoko Saito had always looked forward to in her younger days and continued to do so as she grew older. While she held liking for every family member of Nene’s (something that quite a lot of people would consider rather odd), there was one she was most particularly fond of. Since their first meeting as children the two had grown closer and closer over the years, forming an unbreakable connection. Something that others would die for, something worthy of the adjective ‘sacred’ in Kiyoko’s mind. He’d always treat her different from the rest, allow her insight to his soul. She’d always be there for him and follow wherever he’d go. And vice versa. It was summer and one of the days where Masashi’s family had come over to visit Kiyoko’s. And like the two always did, they excused themselves relatively quickly from the rest of the group, stealing off to do various activities. Including Kiyoko explaining social media to Masashi for the 56th time, a small fashion show because Masashi just had to see the clothes Kiyoko had bought without him, a little cooking when the kitchen was free and of course a long rant-saison of Masashi that had started with one topic and ended at something completely different. Once the sun had started to set the two slipped out and away into the garden, which is where they were right now. Sitting side by side on a stone bench in front of the little pond which had been a wedding anniversary gift. The air was filled with the all-too familiar concert of the cicadas, a few birds in the distance making their contribution to it and the occasional splashes of water as one of the Koi fish decided to come a bit too close to the surface. Kiyoko had her arms around Masashi’s and her head resting on his shoulder. No one but her would dare to do so, as anyone else would probably fear Masashi were to bite their head off if they did. And they better should. Although at the moment it was almost hard to imagine him all loud, angry and perfectly ready to mow down anyone who stood in his way. All he was currently doing was peacefully watching the fishes with a stern expression while slowly eating the Strawberry-Daifuku she had prepared earlier. It was certainly not a sight anyone on Totsuki would have in their mind when the name ‘Eizan Masashi’ was mentioned, but Kiyoko didn’t mind. In fact, she loved it. He considered her special and he trusted her. And she was one of the only few people who got to see him like that, while all their classmates were exposed to the ruthless and easily angered warlord. “Once I have my own house...” Kiyoko murmured, having her focus on a particular white Koi Fish with red spots that swam it’s graceful circles. “I want a pond in my garden as well.” It might was a casual side-remark intended as conversation starter, it might was something he should take note of for the future. Who knew? Unclear, if Masashi debated over the implications of said statement in his mind he merely responded with a hum, his mouth still full of Daifuku. Kiyoko didn’t mind the lack of input and only continued. “It will also have Kois of course. They’re just too beautiful.” The content smile that had been on her lips ever since he had entered the house grew a little bit. “And once I have kids they can feed the Kois and name them all afterwards just to forget the names the day after.” A giggle escaped her and she clung a bit tighter to him. “Just like we did when we were small.” He shifted his gaze to her at that and she swore for a moment there was something reminiscent of a smile on his lips. He then turned his head again and pointed at a pitch-black Koi-Fish. “I believe that one was called ‘Oda’.” Immediately she interjected. “No way! That was ‘Luna-chan’!” They’ve had very different ways of naming the fishes back then. Masashi picking out the names of soldiers and generals from the history books and Kiyoko rather taking her inspiration from flowers, sweets or other things she considered beautiful. Or children shows occasionally.  “The white one was ‘Luna-chan’.” He argued. “But which one would it be? There’s two white ones. No, no! I am sure, the black one was called ‘Luna-chan’!” She insisted. Masashi eyed her for a moment. Normally he found a liking on stretching out all kinds of discussion a lot longer than they had to be. But now he just sighed, mumbled “So be it then” and looked back to the pond while putting another Daifuku into his mouth. She couldn’t help but to giggle again. For a few moments there was a comfortable silence between the two again as they continued to watch the fishes. Then he suddenly spoke up. “There should also be a cherry tree.” She shifted her position on his shoulder a bit to be able to look up at him. “Hm?” He made brief, meaningless gestures with his hand. “Not near the pond however or in spring all it’s petals would fall into the water. No, no, that would not be all too pretty for very long. But....” He said the following words very firmly. “There has to be a cherry tree.” His eyes met hers. “After all whenever they bloom in spring you always become so adorably happy.” Kiyoko’s eyes widened a bit at that and she felt warmth in her cheeks. A little astonished, she took her head of his shoulder to back a bit off so she could face him better, keeping her round, brown eyes locked with his serious, red ones. Before she could come up with a reply however, a voice called from the direction of the house. “Kiyoko! Masashi-kun! Nene-san and me made food! Come in!” The two childhood friends turned their heads and saw that it was Kiyoko’s father calling for them. Just a second later the face of Kiyoko’s mother popped out behind the doorframe that lead onto the terrace as well and Kiyoko could also make out the significant ribbon that was in her little sister’s black hair at all times behind the doorframe. “Soumyan.” Momo’s voice was full of disagreement for his current action. “Work on your timing.” While Somei just blinked confused at his wife’s words, Masashi who was ever so obedient when it came to the words of adults stood up. “Come on, Kiyoko-san. We wouldn’t want anyone to wait.” Kiyoko didn’t really want to go yet but she knew arguing with Masashi on that matter would be pointless. Also her good manners were pushing her to stand up anyway. And so she let out a little sigh before taking the hand Masashi was holding out to her with a smile. “Alright.” When the two were leaving from the stone bench, one part of her couldn’t help but to hope that someday in the future they will be able to sit as long as they like at their own pond while watching pink petals fall from their cherry tree.

Wrote this on discord a while back...
Within   a   mist   of   darkness,   Tsukasa   appeared   within   No.   3’s   boundary,   The   Hell   of   Mirrors.   He   laid   a   sleeping   Nene   in   a   cage   within   the   deepest   part   of   the   boundary   then   hopped   back   up   a   few   stories.   “Mitsubaaaa  .  .  .”   the   ghost   grinned,   looking   around   for   the   supernatural   he   created.   Tsukasa   stood   on   the   railings   of   a   staircase   with   his   hands   behind   his   back.
Mitsuba   floated   down   to   meet   Tsukasa   and   hugged   him.   “You’re   back!”   the   supernatural   replied.   He   felt   so   lonely   within   his   new   boundary.
“.  .  .  Shhh”   Tsukasa   pat   their   back.   “I   have   a   job   for   you.   All   you   have   to   do   is   keep   the   radish   legs   girl   here.   Don’t   let   her   go   anywhere.   Understand   Mitsuba?”   Tsukasa   smiled.   “You’re   way   stronger   now.   So,   if   she   almost   gets   away,   just   scrunch   her   good.”   the   ghost   added.
“I-I   don’t   want   to   do   that  .  .  .”   Mitsuba   said.   The   supernatural   shook   his   head,   not   liking   Tsukasa’s   idea   at   all.
“Huh?   How   come?”   Tsukasa   blinked.
“Well  .  .  .”   Mitsuba   flailed   his   hands.   “I   just   became   friends   with   Radish-senpai!   What   if   she   hates   me   forever   for   doing   this!?   I   can’t   be   hated!   I’m   too   cute   for   anyone   to   hate   me!”   he   squealed.
“.  .  .”   Tsukasa   glared   at   his   creation   before   punching   some   sense   into   him.
“Ah-!!”   Mitsuba   covered   his   face   and   started   crying   a   little.   “S-sorry.   I’m   sorry.   I’ll   do   it!!   Sorry.”   the   supernatural   sniffed,   hugging   onto   his   knees.
After   seeing   Mitsuba   in   pain   and   apologising,   a   grin   rose   across   Tsukasa’s   face.   “Good   boy,   Mitsuba!”   the   ghost   said,   patting   the   supernatural’s   head.   “I’ll   see   you   later”   he   disappeared   once   more   to   go   meet   with   his   brother.
“-But!”   Mitsuba   frowned   and   sat   down   in   the   watery   floor.
“AMANE!!”   the   ghost   shouted   and   ran   towards   his   brother.   The   child   clung   to   him   immediately   and   nuzzled   his   cheeks.   “Amaneeee!   Let’s   play   a   game!”   Tsukasa   grinned   as   he   looked   at   his   brother,   excitedly.

Are Real Housewives of OC producers destroying Tamra?
Tamra Judge has evaded the Real Housewives chopping block for almost a decade, to the chagrin of the majority of her castmates. She has come back from throwing wine in Jeana’s face, lying to Shannon about gossiping of her marital troubles to Heather, and being excommunicated by her teenaged daughter. (KELLY SAID IT!) But has her bell finally been rung? This season Tamra is being treated to an entirely new edit: bitter and boring.
Is it worse to be evil or dull?
Let me begin my clarifying that Tamra has received the standard villain edit a few times before and has come out unphased. She seemed closest to being removed from the franchise at the end of season 9. This was the year she lied to Shannon, as mentioned above, turned on Heather Dubrow, tried to rally the girls against Vicki because of Brooks (not a bad instinct, turns out) and bullied Lizzie on the cast trip. Let’s also remember this was the year that random girl Danielle, who was friends with Lizzie, was completely edited out due to her husband being accused of being gay turning into a scandal. Producers were uninterested in this storyline and may I take a moment to ponder who took it there that year? …Just a guess. All of this is especially laughable since the Eddie storyline is now front and center. Anyway, this season ended with Tamra running out of Bali screaming that she would never be seen again. Instead of holding herself to that promise and fading into the Housewives graveyard, she became a born-again Christian and clung on for three more years.
So what’s different this year? Tamra isn’t the villain, she’s the low humming background noise that disrupts the flow of the episode – not to be harsh. Tamra’s main function this season seems to be dropping in a ton of negativity shrouded in self-indulgent laughter, all in the effort to trash Vicki. Don’t get me wrong, I love an enemy and a duo locked in battle – Kim and Nene forever. That being said, these conflicts do cross a line at the point when either party refuses to participate in the show antics with the other. For some reason this is faring much worse for Tamra than it is for Shannon. Perhaps because Shannon has a storyline of her own (a few, in fact) while Tamra’s critiques of Vicki seem to be the meat of her narrative. It’s not working for her.
Is Tamra’s fate self-sealed?
Will Tamra be able to turn this around? I honestly do not see it. She doesn’t have the embedded importance of a Ramona, for example, who can take time away from functioning reality but will easily find a place to return. (Check out my Mona bias) Tamra seems to be moved to a place without any relevant personal storyline and without the ability to mesh with the group. Not a good sign at all. So how responsible are the producers for this? Honestly, probably not very much at all. Tamra seems to be digging her own grave, refusing point blank to discuss Vicki or play the game with any other cast members. She is alienating herself and Shannon, or so she thinks, while Shannon continues to establish other relationships on the show. Shannon (and Kelly) are doing a fabulous job of weaving themselves into other dynamics, making room for them to stay regardless of whoever goes.
Yes, someone needs to go. It’s not going to be Vicki. Now we’ve said it. So what choice is there if not Tamra? Shannon is staying – she’s newer, fresher and has a ton going on. We need to see what goes on with her marriage, track the rise of her musical daughters and watch her body transform. Tamra just doesn’t have that type of pull. Tamra worked best as a comedic foil for Vicki and she really seems to be floundering without that relationship. I see this being her last season, calling it now.
Thoughts? Next?
Do you think TamTam is on her way out? Do you know what type of Housewives personality she is, that may be illuminating to this discussion. Already read it, awesome – thank you! Reward yourself with some classic RHOC viewing, for your ultimate pleasure.

When it rains we run, okay? chapter three.
Chapter One
Chapter Two
Chapter Four
Nene’s skin crawled as she focused her tired gaze on the window beside her. The sky was still blanketed with thick clouds; fog covered the city lazily weighed down.
Her head was still clouded from last night’s episode. Her body clung to exhaustion, her eyelids refusing to open further than halfway.
Hanako was still working, and he would be until 4. Nene wasn’t sure what he did for work; he always danced around the subject, hiding, giving vague descriptions that could fit most jobs.
Nene never pushed. Hanako would tell her when he was ready.
He trusts her,
He’s always been like this, ever since they were children in middle school.
Amane’s eyes shifted, looking anywhere but her when she asked what he was reading, “Ah, it’s just something I’m interested in, nothing fascinating,”
She never got a direct answer from him… aside from when he was helping her with her studies, but even then, he made her solve it for herself.
Today was a good day.
Nene went to work. She works at a small magazine place; thankfully, they allowed her name to be anonymous. Her boss didn’t care about who she was, made a small comment about how her parents must be supernatural fanatics to name their child such a weird thing, then promptly hired her; her writing was good, persuasive.
Nene has always been persuasive. It’s how Amane still likes her.
Nene went home; she watched TV. She listened to music. The rain didn’t fall.
She’s going to her former teacher’s, Tsuchigomori’s, house for dinner.
Tsuchigomori… that man… knows way too much, for no one saying anything.
He’s cutthroat. As long as Nene and Hanako stay in line, out of sight, he won’t report them. When he found them in the alleyway near the school, he seemed to have already known what she had done.
Her former teacher hid them, keeping a close eye on them. He claimed that he needed to keep tabs on the two of them so they don’t “mess anything else up.”
He’s always been such a strange teacher. He never seemed to care, always distant and annoyed, but when she got injured from Him , Tsuchigomori always was there, having her sit in a classroom, as he tended to her injuries. He prodded for information... For some reason, Nene felt he already knew.
He helped them hide their identities. Gave them a place to hide. But, unfortunately, it seems Nene and Hanako will be in his debt for a long time.
He’s going to report them eventually.
Nene jolts, opening her eyes to look at the time on her phone. Then, she starts to doze off.
It was noon; maybe she could sleep until Hanako get’s off work. Her body seemed to agree, ready to collapse any moment.
She unlocks her phone and sets the alarm for 3:45. Placing it on the table, Nene decides she is too sleepy to walk to her bedroom. Slumping against the old sofa, she tugs her sweater sleeves and closes her eyes, letting sleep consume her consciousness.
Nene had a kitchen knife in her bag.
She was on edge from all the true crime she was watching, well, that and the spike of disappearances recently.
No money to buy a pocket knife or defense weapon. Sure, knives weren’t allowed on the school campus, but if Nene didn’t tell anyone, she wouldn’t get into trouble.
She remembers clearly how the tall male seized up when she stabbed him.
Her eyes wide, her breath shallow, the ringing in her ears when he screamed. Her arm pulling the knife out and driving it back in.
He fell. Nene fell on top of him, raising her arm.
Stabbing over and over, she gasped for air, choking and sobbing violently.
Nene was above him, shaking as she looked into his dead eyes. He looked like he was terrified, in excruciating pain.
Mokke didn’t feel the guilt. After what he did, he deserves this.
Nene was afraid. Why didn’t he just listen? Why did it have to come to this? Why didn’t he stop? She didn’t want to kill him. He shouldn’t have died.
She sat on her knees above him. Staring at her hands on the knife.
Gasping, she lets go, backing off of him, slamming herself into the wall behind her, staring at the corpse with horror.
A knock on the bathroom entrance is what breaks her intense gaze.
Buzz
Buzz
Nene’s face was wet as she reached for her phone. Her alarm had gone off.
She groaned, sliding her thumb over what she believed was the alarm. Using the sleeve on her shirt to wipe the tears from her face.
The apartment was silent. Only the sound of light rain hitting the building and cars moving below could be heard.
Nene sits up slowly, taking note of the pain in her neck.
Inhale,
She stares at the phone in her hand, watching the screen darken, then turning black.
Hanako shouldn’t be here for another 30 minutes…
Exhale.
Nene set the phone on the table and looked towards the window.
At least the rain wasn’t that bad.
Nene sighs, looking down to the coffee table in front of her,
She didn’t feel right, the exhaustion still weighing heavily on her. She tugs on her sleeves, wrapping her arms around herself, listening to the rain let up, slowly dissipating.
Inhale.
A small break of rain. It wouldn’t last long. The forecast states thunderstorms and heavy rain for the next week.
Exhale.
Nene decided it’d be best to stretch, feeling the desire to sleep grow stronger the longer she sits there.
A loud yawn comes from her as she raises her arms above her head and arches her back.
Moving towards the kitchen, Nene briefly glances at the time on the microwave and opens a cupboard for a glass. She reaches for one, standing on her toes to grab it. Then, slowly closing it, she goes over her options for a drink.
Water, milk, coffee, Nene was almost sure they had some juice in there, but she wasn’t sure. She could put her ice in the coffee… but she would have to make a pot, which she didn’t want to do…
Nene turns the facet on, shoving her glass underneath the water.
Water. That’s what she needed.
Watching it fill up, Nene lets it overfill, flowing onto her hand before splashing into the sink. She blinks, turning it off, and pours some of the water out, and taking a sip of it.
It felt refreshing, cool against her dry throat.
Nene relishes in the silence, no rain, no talking. She moves back into the living room, sitting at the couch once again, this time, her exhaustion barely noticeable.
She sits, sipping on her water until Hanako comes home.
He was late, unusual even for him. Nene’s glass held only a few drops of water.
Hanako was out of breath as he walked in, quickly shutting the door behind him. He smiled at Nene, with a hello, before making his way into their room.
Nene blinked. Hanako has never not properly said his hello’s to her.
She set the glass onto the coffee table and made her way into their shared room. She peeked into seeing Hanako changing.
“Are you okay?” Nene asks quietly, making him stop his movement, looking over to her.
Hanako stares, his amber eyes gazing deeply into her as if gauging her motive. He smiled,
“Sorry, I thought I should get ready to leave right now since we might be late to the old man’s place,”
“That doesn’t answer my question.” Nene was used to him evading questions, but it was seriously getting on her nerves.
“We’re going to be late, Mokke .” Hanako’s response ended this conversation. For now.
Nene sighs and shakes her head to him, disappointed.
“I don’t like it when you push me out, Hanako .” Manipulation, to get her way, she wanted answers. Tears fill her eyes, “Don’t you trust me? What did I do wrong?”
Amane seems to respond accordingly, his face twisting up into panic as he let go of the shirt he was buttoning up, waving his handing trying to calm her down.
“Mokke, I do trust you, believe me, I’ll tell you after dinner, please don’t cry,” Amane pleads with her, holding her hands in his.
“Promise?” Nene whispers to him, pulling one of her hands away to hold up a pinky, staring into his eyes, her ruby eyes wide and glassy, “ Please, ”
Hanako breaks shakily, connecting their pinky fingers together, “ Promise .”
Nene closes her eyes tightly, leaning into him.
“We need to get ready, starlight,” Hanako says softly.
Nene nods, leaning back and wiping her tears.
She was going to get answers.
Nene shuffles to the closet and opens it, staring at the clothes inside. She listens to Hanako button up his shirt.
She tugged on a cream-colored buttoned blouse and reached for a burgundy skirt.
Slowly she removes her clothes. She knows Hanako turns around regardless of whether or not she wants him to and slips on the items she pulled.
“Hanako?” She looks to him, “Could you grab my bag for me? And shut the blinds? I need to brush my hair,”
Hanako nods, doing as he was told.
Walking into the bathroom, she stares at herself in the mirror. Nene reaches for a brush and starts making her way through the knots she got while sleeping. She pauses,
Ao-chan always brushed her hair during break since Nene always overslept.
Nene grits her teeth, pulling her hair into a low bun. Quickly, she shoves the brush back onto the counter, glaring at it, and leaves the bathroom.
Hanako was slipping his shoes on, looking over to her with her bag in his hand,
“Are you ready?” She nods.
He helps her put her shoes on, and they leave, Hanako locking the door behind them,
“I put your phone in your bag,” Hanako informs her,
“I forgot about grabbing it,” Heat rushes to her cheeks, “Thank you Hanako-kun,” A smile on her face was enough of thanks to him, but she needs to make sure he knows he’s appreciated.
Hanako smiles back, grabbing her hand and pulling her along as they make their way to the elevator.
The walk there was nice. Neither Nene nor Hanako owned a car, let alone had a license to drive one. The clouds had broken up to let the setting sunshine down on the city.
Purple and orange hues filled the clouds, forming something akin to a painting. It was pretty, yet the only thing Nene felt looking at it was a bitter melancholy. The wet sidewalks glowed, reflecting the sun, making the world around them alive.
Something that made Nene uneasy was the dark clouds looming in the west.
The streets were empty, it was getting late, most people had gone home, to their families, or were having dinner.
They turn a street, spotting the familiar old but fancy-looking apartment. Hanako’s hand on hers seemed to tighten, giving her a soft squeeze as they made their way inside.
Instead of the elevator, they use the old narrow stairs.
The two arrive on the teacher’s floor up seven flights of stairs, completely out of breath. Nene laughs in between breaths, “Hanako-” She gasps slightly, “We should’ve used the elevator,” Hanako joins in on her laughter.
They stand there for a few moments, catching their breaths, composing themselves.
Hanko and Nene arrive at the door that has 705 engraved on  a golden plate  and knock.
Nene heard shuffling behind the door as Tsuchigomori unlocked it.
Right on cue, Tsuchigomori opens the door, glaring at the two young adults.
“You’re late.” He hisses out.
Hanako laughs lightly, rubbing the back of his neck, his smile slightly nervous,
“Sorry! Got caught up in traffic, you know?”
“You don’t have a car.”
“Oh right…” Hanako pauses, looking towards Nene, looking for an excuse. His gaze focuses on her before looking back at Tsuchigomori with a boyish grin, “...Got caught up looking at the sky, it’s a lovely sunset,”
Nene and Tsuchigomori both stare at him with a deadpan look.
“Tsuchigomori-sama, We’re sorry to be late; Hanako-kun got home later than usual.” Nene softly says, bowing deeply, her hands folding in front of her.
Tsuchigomori raises a hand dismissively, opening the door wider, and motions them in,
“Just don’t let it happen again.”
Hanako and Nene stepped into the apartment, sliding their coats and shoes off.
Tsuchigomori went towards the kitchen, presumably cooking still.
“You two can sit at the dining table. I’ll be out with the food in a minute.
Nene sucks in a breath.
Now they had to report their month to him.
Hanako was going to tell the truth, Nene was going to make sure of it.
