Get ready for a long, sappy post about the Valleyfolk y’all.

I watched the clips and I watched the valleycast today and I’m just in awe and I’m so full of joy for these four individuals. And I’m amazed at all of the other creators and friends and family of the folk that helped spread the word and gave the Valleyfolk the recognition they deserve.

It hit me so hard in the podcast when Lee was explaining what happened in the dressing room- she said she is so used to defeat in the industry and she just expected how pilot season would go and not in her favor. If broke my heart. I watched Joe and Elliott and Steve listen intently and in such understanding because they didn’t expect to win. That hurt me.

I am so happy and gleeful and excited and overwhelmed that they did it. I’ve been a fan of these four people since 2011, since the very beginning of sourcefed, and I’ve grown with these people. It just makes me overjoyed that I got to see them work their fucking asses off to reach this new height.

The other comedians were amazing, everyone was so lovely and funny (of course) but.. these are mine. You fucking did it, babes, you deserve it. Take your glory. I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for me.

Re: The firing of Lee Newton

from The Valleyfolk and the explanations from Steve, Joe and Elliott: I just saw the latest video put forth by "The Valleyfolk" and I've come to the following conclusions: 43 minutes and 46 seconds of bullshit is still bullshit! To Steve, Joe and Elliott: I hope that Lee's back didn't damage your knives. The bottom line is that Stevarino resented having less talent than Lee. Lee can ACT and do Stand-up. Steve is just loud and obnoxious. He himself has proved it time and time again. The evidence is on the final Source-Fed Broadcast where he stepped on peoples toes, interrupted them and basically shoved his ass into as many shots as possible to satisfy his own ego. He also said "FUCK" several times rather loudly outside of a restaurant/cafe in Arizona. He should have been busted for Disorderly Conduct!! Steve Zaragoza is The Bad Guy here. I don't know what the hell he said or did, but he managed to persuade Joe and Elliott to vote Lee out. For the first time since he came on the scene in SourceFed, Steve is wearing dark glasses. He won't look at the camera, either. Guilt. Joe's body language suggests anger and guilt. Elliott's body language suggests that he feels guilt, frustration and "What the fuck, man?" In closing, it appears to me that these three gutless wonders value money more than they do Friendship. I wonder how long it will be until The Valleyfolk are dead and buried. It won't be soon enough for my taste.

can’t stop thinking about elliott’s alchemy analogy on this week’s valleycast. gosh. it’s so weird how much of a hold those four have had on me. why do i still care. it’s been about, gosh... 7? i think 7 years since i started watching sourcefed. i was in middle school. all these years later i care the same amount. that’s crazy. anyways. its so interesting to rewatch older videos (that’s all i’ve been doing this week) with the lee-gone-lens cuz you can sorta see what tension elliott talks about that i never really noticed before that. its so interesting to think about how that tension broke and how the group split. was lee really the problem? maybe. very well could have been. maybe it was one of the guys. but isn’t that the thing? i’ll never know. why do i want to know so bad. that’s something too. why do people still make posts on reddit about it. and god damn it why hasn’t anyone made a post on reddit about what elliott said on the podcast yet. that gold was real gold. it holds up after a few years. its worth a rewatch if you’re bored. but something else is that the quality never declined. i loved the four of them equally and joe, ell and steve still made some real good stuff (with the help of kevin, god bless him). idk what even the point that i’m making is but i just wanna say that the podcast has been and continues to be really good and i wish that i could go back and watch old stuff and look in the comments and not see “unsubbed” in every section. oh my god. there was gold. there is gold. i love those boys and i love lee in the way that i can parasocially without it being too weird. still after two years i wish them all the most success cuz they deserve it. unless they don’t... cuz what if. but we’ll never know....... alright i’m done typing i don’t think i made a single point here.
