Holiday Punch

Pairing: Lee Hajoon (The Rose) x GN!Reader; Genre: established relationship, fluff, garage band au, suggestive; Rating: sfw, NC-17; Warnings: teasing, some empty threats, kissing, hints leading to more; Wordcount: 685

Summary: As the rest of the band decided to skip band practice, Hajoon needs to find a way to calm you down again.

A/N: Since I went to their concert twice and this man just gets to me, I simply had to write him for this round of Tipsy Drabbles.

You paced around the garage as you stared at your phone and waited for new messages to pop up in your group chat.

As time passed and none of your band members answered your message, you got more and more frustrated. This holiday all of you were supposed to meet and practise for a stage but somehow none of them showed up yet.

You groaned in annoyance, wanting to throw your phone or do something equally stupid. You took several deep breaths, forcing yourself to calm down as you sat down behind the drums.

“Oh? We’re changing instruments today?”

The sudden voice behind you made you jump in your seat before you turned around with a scowl.

Hajoon raised his hands, showing his palms, with a soft chuckle. He leaned against the door frame with his shoulder, his eyes crinkling ever so slightly in amusement.

You crossed your arms in front of your chest, still with a prominent frown on your features. Yet, you didn’t really know what to say. You wanted to be mad at him for being late, you wanted to scold him and be all fussy about it but the second your eyes landed on him, your brain turned into mush.

Hajoon raised one eyebrow, still waiting on an answer before he turned his head to look at the microphone stand in the front.

Your eyes immediately zeroed in on his sharp jawline, making you tense your own jaw.

“Well, I don’t mind being the front singer today”, Hajoon then said, turning back to you with a teasing grin, “but I don’t know how well you’ll be doing at the drums.”

You narrowed your eyes to a glare. “I might not know how to hit the drums in a rhythm but I still know how to punch you.”

Hajoon chuckled again and pushed himself away from the door, walking over to you - despite the threat of being punched. “Let me show you how to get rid of all your pent up frustration.”

Your breath hitched as your mind immediately wandered to something else.

Again Hajoon raised one eyebrow upon noticing your reaction, a smirk playing over his lips. He stopped right behind you and leaned down to your ear. “Not what I thought of, but I’m not opposed to it either.” His breath fanned over your bare neck as he spoke, making you shiver involuntarily.

You pressed your thighs together, a desperate attempt of taking control over your mind again. Though when you turned your head and your nose brushed along Hajoon’s cheek, the last ounce of control just slipped through your fingers.

“I still wanna punch you”, you exhaled shakily.

Hajoon snickered and shook his head ever so slightly. “Do it with your lips then.” He grinned and tapped with a finger against his cheek.

You narrowed your eyes again and instinctively raised your hand to hit him half-heartedly on the chest, trying to downplay your little grin when Hajoon gasped in mock offence. “I really can’t stand you sometimes.”

“You can always just sit on my lap then.” Hajoon laughed and stepped back, avoiding another hit to his chest. He caught your hand in mid-air and pulled you up into his embrace. “Violent, aren’t we?” Hajoon cupped your cheek, letting his thumb draw soft circles over your skin.

“Only ‘cause you’re teasing me.” You pouted and avoided eye contact.

Hajoon hummed lowly before he leaned down to kiss you. His lips brushed against yours, hesitating for just a split second in case you wanted to pull away. “I only do it ‘cause I love you so much.”

“Now you’re getting cheesy and my urge to punch you spiked up”, you giggled as you grabbed his shirt and pulled him even closer to you - crossing the distance between you and sealing the kiss.

Your missing band members were long forgotten as the two of you deepened the kiss, losing yourselves in the building desire.

Both of you silently agreed then and there band practice would get cancelled, instead wanting to focus on exploring each other in more ways than just kissing.

I GOT TO SEE THE ROSE TODAY AND I WENT FROM A LIL MORE OF A CADUAL FAN TO I NEED SOME FICS SO LIKE- ASSIST.

Went in Woosung biased but Dojoon and Jaehyeong got me like 👀👀 maybe maybe.

THE ROSE>>> y’all i heard it as soon as it came out but i just finished recovering, this song is ♾️/10. it’s honestly so beautiful :( i freaking love it. STREAM IT.

The raw emotion they use when singing, the intensity of their voices it’s all that makes this song what it is. The purpose and meaning of their words and the directness of it as well. It’s truly a masterpiece. One of my favorites to say the least.
