My man Neil really said, "I'm dragging you down with me," with no hesitation. He made up a whole lie just to spite Riko, and I think that's beautiful.

I know Seth’s existence is a controversial topic because he’s so widely disliked but just think about it for a second. I think Seth would’ve grown to like Neil if he hadn’t been killed.

Like. Blood in the locker. Seth would laugh so hard and everyone would be like dude…stop laughing this is serious and he’s standing there like???? Are you KIDDING ME??? Neil is covered in BLOOD and turns out he’s lying about his age and probably so much more and you expect me NOT to laugh?

Neil’s lies would be so amusing to him. Him fighting Riko would be his favourite thing ever. Like in tfc he was so intrigued by Neil roasting Riko on TV, he literally wished he had went with them just so he could’ve witnessed it. I think Neil’s attitude would make Seth laugh so hard because he’s unintentionally bratty and argumentative and he literally can’t keep himself out of trouble. I’m not saying they’d be friends but I think he would love that little striker with an attitude problem that’s all!

I don’t think the upperclassmen see Neil as sad and traumatized as much as they see him as a feral but deadly cat or chihuahua that they fed a couple times and is now theirs forever.

My biggest flex is that I have memorized the entire Riko roast, and when all for the game gets turned into an anime I will be able to recite it as monologue for theatre.

been obsessing over this thought I had recently that Andrew is the only person in-universe who would know/remember every word of the "you know I get it" roast the way that we do. bc even though it was iconic and it was neil himself saying it there's no way that any of the foxes would remember all of what he said and Neil most likely wouldn't remember every word either bc it's not like he memorized it or anything he just let the inspiration strike him <3 and they don't have it written down to go back to the way we do as readers. so Andrew is the only person who gets to fully appreciate and revisit the Riko Roast the way that we do AND he gets neil in the end.... all for the game and it seems like Andrew was the one winning
