making wild assumptions about an npc you saw like for five seconds, i'm crying. rory's my baby, so thanks for your interest! he's a redhead, actually! you're also correct on that he smiles very prettily, but only around his partner(s). haha, otherwise he's kind of ... uh, menacing when he does. he does always smile, though. just not in the elio way.

did, in fact, have a puka shell phase.

he's actually not that interested in carcasses or corpses, though! he's studying it because it's a part of working in a funeral home, but he's more interested in the emotional aspect of death and his responsibility to help people through their grief.

he doesn't really read comics or play d&d, but he will pretend that he cares about both if you're speaking to him earnestly about it, haha. he's a chronically offline boyfriend if i'm to put him to something.

One of my fav things about my webcomic im making is that the main characters all work at a seaside gift shop, which is really RIDICULOUSLY fun to think up shit for the background!!!

Like the main things are gonna be sculptures made out of seashells glued together, but also things like shark teeth in tiny bottles, horrendous t-shirts like the ones that have a cartoonish and misogynistic bikini girl on them, faux marine-themed decor items, plastic mini license plates that always have every name except yours, those slippy tube toys that you never buy but you spend five seconds making lewd gestures with, pooka shell necklaces, entirely too much incense with weirdass scent names like "DICK MONEY"...

Its like a setting that EVERYONE who has ever been to a beach town in america will instantly recognize but also its weirdly specific so its a fucking perfect setting for a webbed comic

Hanbin - Son of Demeter 🌾

weapons: a typical celestial bronze sword

quirks: can create giant walls of vegetation which he uses as shields

super kind, kinda the makeshift mother for the campers

despite being a really good healer he’s still a very solid fighter

the best healer at camp despite not being born with his abilities

the official Camp Half Blood medic(his abilities are a gift he acquired from (apollo after a quest)

Geonu - Son of Hephaestus🛠

weapons: grenades he builds himself, a bronze dagger for emergencies

quirks: is fireproof + can create and manipulate fire

he’s a little reckless and often jumps into things without thinking

has a toolbox that procures any sort of mechanical equipment he wants at any moment

also kind of a mechanical genius

tweaks and build a bunch of the other camper’s weapons and armors and even builds some himself

Heeseung - Son of Zeus⚡️

weapon: imperial gold sword

quirks: the ability to fly, control the weather, and control the winds

the longest actual camper at camp, has been on the most quests

basically a complete all rounder: he’s got great defense, great offense AND he’s crazy smart

since he’s the son of zeus and he’s been around so long, he’s expected to take charge of quests, regardless of whether he wants to or not

he’s actually quite shy and nervous around new campers

Jay - Son of Hecate🔮

weapon: a staff he uses for spells that transforms into a celestial bronze longsword at will

quirks: magic and spells + can manipulate the myst

one of the best mortal myst manipulators, can basically trick you into seeing absolutely anything he wants you to

used to be really insecure because his mom’s a minor god, but he grew to embrace it over time

has intermittent oracle abilities, he gets some visions but not all of them

super social and always taking new campers under his wing

Jake - Son of Poseidon🌊

weapons: celestial bronze sword that hides as a pooka shell necklace

quirks: breathing underwater + manipulating water + can heal himself with water

still new at camp, hasn’t quite figured out his powers yet

he’s quite shy, so he’s a little overwhelmed by all the attention he’s getting because he’s a poseidon kid

constantly confused and/or surprised by the greek world

despite being new at camp he’s already establish himself as a really good fighter and a fast learner

Sunghoon - Son of Aphrodite🕊

weapons: selection of daggers disguised as charms on a bracelet

quirks: charmspeak

his fighting abilities are underestimated cos he’s an aphrodite kid

a+++ charmspeak, basically has all of camp wrapped around his finger

super duper competitive during capture the flag - and basically the only aphrodite kid who actually participates

realled closed of and guarded at first, but once he warms up to you he’s loud and laughs pretty uncontrollably
