i do love how willow’s design gets less feminine in the time skip tbh like i do love the concept designs but i also just love how willow cut her hair short and dressed in sports clothes and present less feminine and being portrayed as not only happy and her true self like that but also to be shown as not any less lovable and desirable and stuff like. idk how to phrase it very well but it’s nice to see a character get less gender conforming casually and it just being portrayed as normal. like, idk.

“Luz?” Eda’s usual easygoing attitude that she masked just about anything with disappeared when the kid on the other side of the glass started to cry, and, had she known one, she’d have sold her soul to a devil for the ability to reach through the screen and hug Luz, even just a single time. “What is it?”
“I’m a horrible person.”
More and more tears welled up in the teen’s eyes and she buried her head in her pillow.
Eda shook her head.
“That’s the biggest nonsense I’ve ever heard—and considering how much time I’ve spent talking to Lilith and Hooty respectively, trust me, that’s saying a lot.” Not even the slightest chuckle in response. It was that serious, then. “Do you wanna talk about it?”
A moment’s hesitation, then a slight nod, and then everything came flooding out.

That was an evil scene to pick here, I know 😈😂
I don’t know how soon the chapter will be out, I’m currently at 6k words, and, once again, because I can’t write chronologically to save my life, the second half of it is basically done while I’ve barely even started on the first half 😂😭
Probably won’t be able to finish it under 10k words again, but... we’ll see.
