Ralph Vaughan Williams - Five Variants of "Dives and Lazarus"
The Mighty Boosh - Stolen and The Nightmare of Milky Joe
On the radio episode Stolen, the first time that Vince is heard watching Collobus the Crab is as Howard returns to the keeper’s hut after having been twatted with an electrical baton by Graham, and this song can be heard used in the background of it. (Later in the episode, a different song by Ralph Vaughan Williams is used when Vince can be heard watching Collobus the Crab for the second time.) In The Nightmare of Milky Joe when Howard and Vince return to their flat after their attempted journey to the United States, Collobus the Crab can be heard on the television, again using this same song in the background of it. The composition is based on the folk tune "Dives and Lazarus" which is a Child Ballad (the Child Ballads are traditional ballads anthologized by Francis James Child) based on the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
