house md wildest show on earth. a main character outright assassinates a known dictator, a moment that would be the very beginning or the mid-series crisis in any other show - an act which creates a power vacuum in a foreign nation already filled with child soldiers and genocide, and it's literally only brought up again throughout the season because that guy's wife divorces him over it. and occasionally to explore his relationship with who he is as a person and a catholic after having deliberately taken a life for what he calculates as the greater good, but mostly it's about his divorce

That time of the evening when I can't help but wonder how and if Jude Duarte is going to age as all humans do. I'm pretty sure Elfhame functions the same as Tír na nÒg in Irish Bealoideas, i.e mortals don't age while they're there but the moment their feet touch the ground of the mortal world their age catches up on them, but is Jude exempt from this as the Queen? But also time works differently in the magic world, so how can they tell how much time has past from one visit to another? Or will she have to stop visiting the mortal world altogether? Or will she visit very often so it doesn't all get her at once?

“Very gross. You’re slipping young master.” Neil says crossing his arms. “Might I ask what the young scion of the Moriyama family is doing here in the Foxhole Court?” Neil asks.
“You know why I am here Neil.” Ichirou says and Kevin feels like he might faint as he sees a scowl on the face of a man who could kill them all with hardly more than a snap of his fingers.
“I held up my end of the bargain.” Neil says seemingly unbothered by Ichirou’s ire. “I’m still holding up my end of the bargain. I haven’t been late on anything sent to me.” Neil uncrosses his arms and points a finger towards Ichirou.
Kevin is filled with an intense urge to slap it down but his fear of drawing Ichirou's attention to himself was far greater.
"I would never accuse you of being anything less than professional when it comes to your work for me." Ichirou dismisses immediately, "Father granted me additional responsibility due to the error you found in his accountant's work." Ichirou says and Kevin could swear he saw Neil preen at that, “You were supposed to sit still in Millport until I came for you.” Ichirou says raising a finger to point back at Neil.
“You never communicated that to me.” Neil says.
“Neil.” Ichirou scowls. “Millport was safe. Why are you on the same coast as-“
“Young Master.” Neil says and Ichirou stops and lowers his accusatory finger.
Kevin couldn't help but marvel at the heir of the Moriyama family giving any sort of ground.

Finished up Kaneshiro's palace and overall it's really solid in terms of gameplay and design. Love the money littered all over the place, the guard designs (liked the detail of their masks looking bug like its a nice bit of foreshadowing) and ofc the music. I think the last puzzle is fun but it drags a little at the end tbh (but that could be because I did the palace in one day so)

the current wga strike began may 2nd, 2023. it's been going strong for 93 days now.
the 2007-2008 wga strike lasted from november 5th, 2007 to february 12, 2008. 99 days.
the longest wga strike was in 1988, from march 7th to august 8th. 154 days.
sag-aftra also began striking on july 14th, 2023. 20 days.
the longest sag-aftra strike was in 2000, from may 1st to october 30th. 182 days.
sag-aftra president fran drescher says the union is "financially prepared to remain on strike for the next six months."
