jon: pg tips with a splash of milk. will pour the milk in before the tea has fully steeped.

martin: pg tips with a lot of milk. he’s a milk in first kind of guy, the only reason he’s always bringing jon cups of tea is because he brews in a pot and not his mug. it’s totally not because of a crush. no sir. none of that here.

tim: yorkshire, builder’s style. strong and sweet enough to perk anyone up. he and melanie chat shit about everyone else’s brand choices in the archives.

sasha: typhoo, black. she always forgets to take the tea bag out before walking back to her desk, and so her desk’s bin is filled with tea bags.

daisy: drinks whatever’s in the cupboard, honestly. likes a bit of oatmilk in it, but she’s not bothered if there isn’t any available

basira: typhoo with milk. she never bothers to get a spoon, so she’s lost feeling in her finger tips from reaching into her mug to pluck out the tea bag.

magnus/elias: fortnum & mason’s superb asaam. he has an entire tea service in his office. he likes the ritual of a properly made cup.

original elias: tesco’s own with six teaspoons of sugar and a lot of milk. honestly it’s barely tea by the time he’s finished doctoring it.

georgie: yorkshire with milk and half a spoonful of sugar. her mug is one of them custom ones, with a photo of the admiral printed on it.

melanie: yorkshire malty biscuit flavour with a little milk. she keeps the box in her desk because it keeps getting pinched from the office cupboards. she’s convinced it’s tim doing the thieving

gertrude: twining’s earl grey with lemon. she used to bring a little plastic container of sliced lemon to the office. never offers to get anyone else a cup, despite the fact she has to walk past her assistants’ desks to reach the kettle

gerry: grew up drinking fortnum & mason’s lapsang souchong, switched to a steady diet of black coffee when he escaped from home.

not!sasha: only drinks lucozade
