i forgot they cast chris pratt as garfield so you can imagine my utter dismay watching the trailer when they cut from an adorable baby garfield with the cutest little meow to adult garfield opening his mouth to deliver some of the most bland and unimaginative voice acting i've ever heard
the animation genuinely looks really cute and then every time garfield speaks it's just chris pratt's normal voice yet again
I genuinely think these designs are as close to perfect as you can get for adapting Jim Davis' drawings into CG. I say "close to perfect" because Odie's eyes are nauseating
do you know how mad I am that we’re getting an animated Garfield movie with what might be the best Garfield design since Garfield & Friends/US Acres went off the air but it comes at the cost of Garfield being voiced by Christopher Michael Pratt? Phil Dunster is following in the footsteps Gordon MacRae and Hugh Jackman (for at least two nights) and will play Curly in an upcoming performance of OKLAHOMA at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

-Also, for the children is James Lance, who appeared in the second installment of THE FAMOUS FIVE: PERIL ON THE NIGHT TRAIN.

Still in the kids realm, Brett has conquered the Muppets, now he is on to Fraggle Rock!
Appearing as Pryce, Brett also gets to sing in the episode.
