Ladybug

He’s the type to smile so hard when you grab his face for a good ol’ smooch.

The quick little press of your lips does well to bring him out of an anxious mood, especially when he’s rambling about the possibilities of what could go wrong.

“Thanks… I needed that”, he giggles sheepishly, rosey cheeks and all as he grins at you.

Definitely asks for another afterwards, like he can’t help himself… not that you’d deny him.

Lemon

He’d give you one back without even thinking about it.

Seriously, the second you plant your lips on his cheek or forehead, he’s already moving to get a good hold of you. It’s like a little game

“MUAH! There we are. Can’t have ya pass by without a lit’le somefin’ can I?”, he’d definitely address you by a train name afterwards

Despite being given the alias of Lemon, he’s always the sweetest when you happen to catch him out of work.

Tangerine

He is such a brat.

"Oi, stop that, I'm tryin' to do somethin' sweetheart", he's pushing you to the side(not really) as you plant your little smooches on his cheek or forehead

He acts like he doesn't like it, until you don't stop peppering them on him, and then he starts smiling and can't help himself

He grabs and holds you, so that you can't run away as he returns the little favors.

Once he's satisfied, he'll let you go and get off to wherever he was going originally.

Yuichi

The Father is comforted by these little smooches, because he feels assured that you love him on the days where he thinks you don't

He holds your hands there and brushes over the back of them with his thumbs.

Yuichi will say he loves you and wants to be embraced in a hug, sort of standing there with you and not wanting to let go.

He's a sap, but knows that he'll have to let go of you eventually to tend to Wataru. He will return the smooch on your forehead and scratch you with his stubble.

When he goes, he looks so sad, like a kicked puppy.

Shigeru

The Elder anticipated your smooch and retaliates with his own. He is quick, faster than you'd given him credit for as he delightfully catches you off guard.

After he's given you your little kiss, he watches you with adoration in his eyes, smiling as he chuckles at your reaction.

"Come", he beckons and lets you give him your smooch.

He pulls you to rest under his chin as he holds you, happy to have you safe in his arms as you two just rest there. He might tell you a story or say something wise here.

Things I thought were beautiful/attractive/charming/pretty/whatever in the Bullet Train movie and no I will not explain (CONTAINS SPOILERS SO BEWARE *-*):

-tangerine.

-lemon's hands when he takes his sticker page out and takes the thomas sticker

-the prince a few seconds before getting smashed like a piñata, holding a weapon

-ladybug getting his hair in a ponytail

-the song 'toilet talk'

-tangerine's hands

-tangerine getting out of the train with his cigarette

-the tall person going in the train while lemon is waiting outside, at one of the first stop

-"how much for the bottle of water, love?"

-the waitress is just adorable

-kimura cutting a piece of tape with his teeth

-the hornet taking off the momomon mask

-tangerine breaking a window

-the elder's wife.

-the whole rolling the gun against sleeve thing

-the lighting in this movie

-the lady waiting to go to the toilet that swears at ladybug

i’ve been meaning to talk about this for a while but I was too scared of the reaction people might have, but you know what? fuck it

i really wish like 80% of the bullet train fandom wasn’t all about tangerine

like i absolutely get it and I understand (hell, he’s my second favourite character and I love him to bits!), but you know, there are SO MANY other characters and the whole plot is so fun and twisty that it makes me sad it’s being reduced to just that

i mean, one of the things i love most about bullet train is how all the different stories tie into each other and how at the end of the day all the characters have some kind of correlation to each other in some way, so to see all that be left unused is really :/

seriously this thing has so much fandom potential with how diverse and different the characters are and with the whole colourful funky aesthetic, i’m telling you guys!

I would do something about it and try to create something if I weren’t the least original person on this planet lmao

again, I in no way mean to attack or offend anyone who has been creating content about tangerine, you guys are doing a great job and you’re having fun, which is what really matters (and honestly, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t indulge in it from time to time), I just wish there was a bit more variety I guess :/

Imagine you’ve been working in the association for a long time. Your hands are bruised and your knuckles have scars that overlap with one another. Now, let’s say you’ve been wanting out for a while, decide to settle down in Japan when you start meeting up and talking to an older gentleman regularly. He’s calm, he’s tranquil, the peaceful and wise type. That’s what he seems like, but looking at him as closely as you have, you know that that’s not all there is. The long nights spent at home have told you otherwise. Maybe he’s not as scarred as you are, but Shigeru’s seen the path you’ve walked upon and knows how you feel in the cold mornings when the sun isn’t hot enough to warm you.

Your scars ache a little, and when you roll over, he’s pressing his face against your shoulder. It’s still so early, and he doesn’t want you to leave him just yet.

“Stay a while”, he hums into your skin, his beard is scratchy… but you like how it feels.

You sit there, but alas, you’ve lost the sleep in your eyes. A weird sort of alertness that lingers from your past life makes it hard to try and fall back into its embrace. It’s not hard to fall into the gentle hug of the older man behind you, however. His arms wrap around your waist, his hands resting on your stomach. Carefully, his fingers thumb over an old scar of yours. One from a job you took a couple of years ago, right when you were first starting out. The gentleman rests his thumb over it, pressing a little where the exit wound used to be.

He hums, and you figure that it means he’s curious about it. Shigeru always had stories to tell, which made him so fascinating. It wasn’t often that you spoke of yourself, not that you had much to hide, so this was one of those rare times where he wouldn’t have to ask to want to learn more about you. You smile, though he cannot see it. The specifics and details of that mission aren’t crystal clear to you anymore, but you recall enough to where you can spin a story of your own to tell.

He’d be mildly amused by how naive you used to be, how simple jobs seemed on paper before they were executed in such a literal sense. You tell him how it didn’t hurt at the time, and he thumbs over that spot in deep muse. It could’ve killed you, kept you from meeting him in your future together.

“You truly are remarkable”, he’d say.

“I could say the same of you”, you’d reply, looking over your shoulder.

You’ve both lingered in bed long enough. After a short but sweet kiss, you and the elder roll out of bed to get ready for the day that waits.
