foul legacy throughout this whole thing is a mix of “mortals… :/“ and a violent rage from feeling the hatred somebody has for his god—his savior, the one that allowed him reprieve from the abyss—and i’m glad it came across well! he was meant to be like a bitter sort of jaded, just barely biting back an “i told you so” because he 100% WINS in this situation. it’s all positives for him, even if at the price of being locked away for a month or two. nothing he’s not used to anyway- AND he gets to see you again? you, who he knows already trusts him over that harbinger, you who looked at him not in fear but in wonder and welcomed him close,,,, legacy is not losing in this situation. at all.
and regarding the parallels… there’s something to be said, maybe, about how childe’s strive for control leads to bloodshed and him choosing to accept the counsel of others leads to peace, or something… but that’s a lot of philosophical topics for genshin impact fanfiction, don’t you think?

I ADORE chiyaka's dynamic sm. The people of Inazuma happily gossip about the young harbinger and ms Kamisato, it's a nice distraction from the previous turmoil of the vision hunt decree and the war between the shogunate and watatsumi.
The two often fall under scrutiny from the public, and the stares Childe receives on his afternoon strolls to komore teahouse don't go unnoticed. He can feel their eyes burning into the back of his head, he can hear their whispers,
but he doesn't care. Neither of them do. they're so unapologetically in love in fact, they rather the Raiden Shogun herself strike them down with the Musou no Hitotachi than renounce their relationship.
The majority of this rarepair relies on fanon, unfortunately, since i dont believe they've had a single canon interaction 😭
but its fine since im deranged, heres a list of my Chiyaka Headcanons!

I think Albedo would go bonker over Tartaglia’s foul legacy bcs of his scientific curiosity. Even regular Tartaglia, if he tested the traveler in 2.3 event I bet he would also love to test Tartaglia’s strength and all. Yes, he's down awfully terrible for you too. I doubt they ever established it in actual words that they are in a relationship, but their increasingly affectionate actions already speak for themselves. Chibedo is so healing!!!

I doubt that they'd go out all that much, but when they do go out I bet they'd love action packed or competitive activities (albedo dies of social exhaustion ten minutes after they're done.).
When Tartaglia initiates activities, they're usually exciting, adrenaline-filled activities like go-kart and theme-parks (and fishing too, as an exception) - while Albedo would prefer activities that require more focus, like roller-skating or ice-skating, hiking and cycling.
Imagine the cute scenarios for each one...Albedo's 😐 face on a rollercoaster while Tartaglia is laughing, holding hands as they skate, or albedo falling asleep next to Tartaglia as he fishes... Or Tartaglia becoming insanely good at arcade games the moment albedo points out a prize that he fancies... Wow I hate chibedo ew ew ew ew

They're an ordinary citizen from Fontaine who's come to Liyue to research the differences between fabric from silkflowers and silkworms (which their family works with!)
They like their research to the point of overwork, which is why they're tired all the time, and they seem annoyed a lot because they really don't want to get involved in ANYTHING dangerous or outside of their work because they really REALLY just want to be a normal person
They're also the OC i based off the "tired Liyue citizen-verse" (you might've noticed the reference to their job as a researcher in my "That Bites" scenario) so they're shipped with Foul Legacy Childe!! At first they were reluctant but he grew on them dw
They have a polearm for security reasons, and have no want or need for a Vision
And their luna-moth wing overlay thing can be also used as a shawl or a cape!! And their glider is modelled after it :)
They're quite lanky and tall, and have hereditary diamond pupils!! Their little antennae hair thingies also move according to emotions but that's just for aesthetic, and they keep their hair pretty short because it's SUPER fluffy if not kept in a bob!!
If i ever make a continuity with them eventually their hair will gain some subtle streaks of gray/silver from all the stress they're under
They're decent friends with Zhongli mostly because he provides them caffeinated tea and he knows a lot about everything so they can ask him questions :)
I feel like for some reason they'd also know Kaeya??? But like in the dynamic of him be suave and flirty and them not taking any of that so they seem annoyed all the time but if he needs help they'll give it to him :)
