The Amazing Digital Theme Park
I'm FINALLY ready to share this au with you all!
It took a very long time bc I kept taking breaks from it, but the second episode has me thinking about it again and I finally got around to designing all of the main cast which is what I wanted to do before showing it off!
With that out of the way, let's jump in, shall we?
AU Information
The Amazing Digital Circus is now a theme park! And a massive one at that. This takes a little inspiration from West World (really just premise wise, not so much plot as I only saw bits and pieces since my parents were binging it while they had covid).
Every character interacted with in this theme park is an android. There are several sections in the park itself. Each one has one particular android that is “in charge” of their section and everyone else in it, that's our main cast.
It also important to note that the sections are exactly that. Sections. They are divided from each other. Per park rules, no characters from different sections should interact. This, however, does not mean that park guests are not allowed to discuss a different section with the androids. They are programmed with a certain level of knowledge of the other park sections and are learning ai.
Characters
Pomni

Pomni is in charge of The Kingdom Jokesalot. This section resembles a fairy tale kingdom with characters who are wacky and jokesters, most resembling various clowns. This section also serves as a gift/souvenir shop. There is a “marketplace” with it that has products for guests to peruse and purchase.
Pomni, as a jester character, will poke fun at other characters and sometimes even guests. However, to give a balance, she is a “clutz” so guests are less likely to be disheartened by her jests. While Pomni is in charge of this section, there is a “king” of Jokesalot.
Ragatha

Ragatha is in charge of The Playroom. This section has characters resembling various types of dolls and toys. There are activities park guests can partake in, most of which are some form of children's game. This section also serves as a candy store, as there is a sweets shop within it. Ragatha herself is equipped with candy hearts to pass out to park guests.
Ragatha is a pleasant conversationalist. She's very gentle with guests and well coordinated. The other characters are programmed to come to her with “problems” to allow for a narrative guests can participate in.
Jax

Jax is in charge of Toon Town. This section, as the name implies, is based around cartoons, more so specifically the rubber hose era of animation. The characters mostly resemble animals, but there are human characters in the mix. This section also acts as an eatery, as there are multiple “stores” or “restaurants” within the town where guests may have their pick of meal type.
Jax himself serves as the supposed “main character” of the “show”. He's a prankster and will get into various shenanigans with other characters, often having park guests tag along and be his accomplices. This can vary from spooking “travelers” on a dirt path or helping him steal a pie from the local baker. Jax is programmed to act differently with guests of different ages. Adults he is more prone to tease and pull harmless pranks on. Children he is more gentle with, playing with them and doing things in their presence to keep them entertained.
Zooble

Zooble is in charge of The Museum. This section is focused around arts and crafts types of entertainment. There are different stations set up to engage park guests in different forms of art. There are other characters who embody these different forms. The Museum also has a caricature stand.
Zooble themselves seems very dismissive in behavior. They will roam around the museum, criticizing the works of other characters. When commenting on the craftsmanship of park guests, they speak only high praises. Guests are also given a choice to leave an artwork in The Museum for display, or take it all home with them.
Gangle

Gangle is in charge of Make Believe Theater. This section is all about the performing arts. The characters there are of various types of performer. There are curtains, lights, costumes, makeup and props of all kinds. This section also serves as a costume shop or rental.
Gangle herself is a “director” of sorts. She oversee the performances. Park guests may find her with a “predicament” of missing one or more cast members, which will then lead to her throwing them into the mix. Guests are encouraged to fully embody their roles to the extent they are comfortable with. Gangle will treat guests as her “star actors” and use them as shining examples for the other characters to follow.
Kinger

Kinger is in charge of Board Land. This section is themed around various board games, which all the characters reflect. Kinger is in fact considered as one of four “rulers” in this section of the park. If questioned about the king of Jokesalot, he will acknowledge him with mild curiosity.
Kinger is a gentle “king” by nature and tends to the other characters, though is programmed to be “jumpy” for added comedic entertainment. He is the only Manager Android to have a “spouse” or “partner” of any kind, his being Queenie, the black queen on the chess board.
Caine

He's the first face you see! Even before you enter the park, given he's sort of the mascot. Caine can be found at the park plaza where he gives directions, helpful hints or even just general banter with park guests. It is made out that Caine is the one operating the entire park given he's the one most aware of everything and everyone else.
Caine is very amiable and pleasant to talk to. He's programmed with knowledge of the entirety of the park to be as helpful to guests as possible. He's equipped with maps of the park to hand out if wanted.
Bubble

Bubble can also be found in the plaza. He has a bubble blowing station with tubs of soap and various bubble wands. There is also a bubble blower to have the constant stream. It's simple and peaceful, fun for all ages!
Bubble himself is a little cheeky, but first and foremost is focused on making it fun for guests. Bubble and Caine are “buddies” of sorts and will have banter of their own.

The Amazing Digital Circus Character Dissection: Kinger

So just watched TADC and what can I say but Gooseworx and GLITCH knocked it out of the park. Great show and look forward to see how this wacky cast of characters uncover the mystery.
With the well deserved praises out of the way lets talk about a character I have already gotten my eye out for is Kinger. I wanted to lay out what I think his deal is.
Firstly he is already established to be the oldest non-abstracted character, so that already pegs him into having more information of this world than the others, however probably suppressed. I also find it interesting he talks and acts significantly different from the others. Sure those behaviors may be due to insanity, but I see them as more childish. Firstly how he talks. Its very choppy and sudden. With closest person matching that vocal behavior being Caine, but that's mostly when he's taking on his ringmaster persona. He also seems to have delayed reactions to things and gets startled easily. Kinger acts like a person with very little social awareness, like perhaps an introverted and/or autistic child, a demographic this game was most likely made for. This is further supported by the fact that he has an interest in insect collecting and often tries to create pillow forts and seclude himself. He also seem to spas a lot when standing still. Another thing to keep in mind is the theme of the inability of doing something right. From when he tells Gangle, "We aren't very good at this." To his arms falling off trying to grab Zooble, to Jax saying directly, "Guess it goes to show you can't rely on Kinger to do anything." Something a child, especially an autistic child would find to be a common problem they face. I believe Kinger was a child, probably introverted, possibly autistic, who had parents that secluded him further and thusly had very little social interactions. He probably also had a lot of expectation placed on him. He most likely entered the world as a child game tester.

Another detail people are rightfully pointing out is the complementing Queen piece. Many interpret this character as being a former lover to Kinger and while I believe that is a valid interpretation, here's mine. Firstly note that the piece is for the opposing team, this may indicate that the queen may have been more of a rival or even a bully to Kinger. Perhaps do to the fact the queen had some kind of inferiority complex. Perhaps a sibling or peer jealous of the attention Kinger was getting. This matches the pieces role, a queen can do everything better than a king, but the king is substantially more important and gets more attention. At least that one interpretation, my interpretation, hope you liked it. Tell me yours.

Kasper Klovni is a coder for hire who accepted a job with someone who claimed to be making a VR game known as ‘The Amazing Digital Circus’, which will be a kid’s game full of colorful characters and wondrous environments. Kasper asked for a beta of the game and was given one with no hesitation, which although a little concerning, he didn’t think too much on it. When he started up the game however, he passed out. When he woke up, he was within a clown-like body and at the entrance to the amusement park. He looked around as he noticed a shock collar on him. What… happened?

Sinful Circus AU is an AU where Kasper, or Kaufmo, ends up within a prison made by a deranged tech genius, forcing people who have wronged them or wronged society into a horror filled hellscape where they slowly forget who they are and slowly think that they’ve always been nothing more then NPCs and AI within the theme park/circus. Every character, once succumbing to their fate, is given their own section of the circus- however any who end up dying end up becoming reused code for the rest of the theme park. Kasper ends up befriending the most sane “NPC”, who is Pomni. Although she’s not exactly your ally, she’s still willing to help- even if at times she tends to dive into her NPC brain here and there, but never on purpose
I've been reworking for like over a week now, and I'm SO HAPPY with this new version of it. It's exactly how I wanted it to be ^^. Here's some things to clarify:
YES there will be more characters. No, you can't ask for your ocs to be in this AU. I will ask YOU for it if I want them in. But there won't be many -
YES I will allow this to be a SHIP AWAY kind of AU. Notice how there's no sexualities. I want as many people to enjoy this AU as possible, so I will allow you to ship to your hearts content, even ask me questions about certain dynamics. The only thing I ask is that if you make any fan content of the ship Bunnydoll (Jax x Ragatha), I ask to NOT show it to me. I don't wanna yuck anyone's yum, that ship just personally makes me uncomfortable, but if you like it- ship away- there's no judgement here -

Behold, the new Mr. Puzzles! "My dear friends! TV is ALL about escapism, yet you WANT to escape? Why not sit for a spell as I tell you the who, what, when, where, why and how of my new, improved look and my ingenious plan?"

Bio: After SMG4 and his gang defeat Mr. Puzzles, but instead of SMG4 destroying him, he asks they hear him out, leading him to tell his story in full, taking a sort of a sad tone ("The Harrowing Tale of Mr. Puzzles"), saying that he wasn't lying when he said he had no friends, but was lying about his TV head: he explained he didn't really cut off his face, it was lost in a car accident (FYI, NOT Mario's fault, so stop.). After hearing him out and instead of shattering his screen and killing him (for now), SMG4 hugs him, as does Meggy, Tari, SMG3 and the others, even Bob is like, "Okay, I'll admit: being in South Park was actually pretty sweet." And the first to make a friend to him? Mario. He apologizes for making act all "cuckoo-crazy" back at the game show, as he would say, Mr. Puzzles forgives him...and SMG4 asks if maybe he could stick around as a friend, as he wanted to entertain. Meggy and Tari would still be upset with him (because of the events of "Western Spaghetti"), but Mr. Puzzles would apologize, for everything...from the Eldritch Keyboard, all the way up to the "Puzzlevision" movie, but he'd VEHEMENTLY apologize to Meggy for "Western Spaghetti", and Meggy found him to a good entertainer with good ideas...but his execution could use work, which he admits. Now, Mr. Puzzles is treating them as his friends, and SMG4, as an act of forgiveness, gives him a Power Star and Mr. Puzzles adopts a new look akin to a ringleader, almost resembling Caine from "The Amazing Digital Circus" if he were sane, mixed with the airs of Jack Skellington. At first, he celebrates ("TV Time" (Mr. Puzzles' Theme)), saying all he felt was needed in his case was a little color, then telling the Glitchy Gang that he has ideas for them on the Showgrounds, but to enact them...he'll need their help and they accept, with him making special channels that caters to them, leading to a welcoming song for the new, improved Mr. Puzzles ("Creative Control" (Reprise of Redemption)).

ive come to create a incredibly lengthy post about the new mascot horror game called Indigo Park
I need to ramble ( haha rambley ) about it as i have just quit twitter for an indefinite time for my own mental health as an autistic cannot last on there at all
anyway, im going to talk about all the reason why indigo park is so good and what i hope from it!! and any criticisms i have for it, i honestly dont have many even though its so early to talk about.
how i found out about indigo park:
UNIQUEGEESE!! naturally, i was watching one of masons past streams on his youtube playing FNF after having rejoined the FNF community after its update and finding out about the mod HIT SINGLE; the mod masons was playing( people know it mostly for the silly billy song ) and he had mentioned about him making a mascot horror game which i shrugged off naturally because i am not a fan of modern mascot horror as most of it seems to be low effort and genuinely unappealing, i knew he had made something that was definitely made with love but i didnt have the will to check it out until a announcement trailer dropped which i then saw snippets of the game and the characters and environment, which i was definitely intrigued so I played the game myself.
My thoughts playing the game:
and found it surpisingly good compared to any other mascot horror game, it was unique, genuinely had awesome character designs and very high quality’s graphics and beautiful models and lighting were stunning, again really surprised having endured the hideousness of other low quality mascot horror games, to then find a game with fucking great models ( unlike banban, 2 billion polygon remote or whatever lmfao ).
I started the game and to be real as a extremely gay furry who loves little silly furry boys i felt like i was gonna explode during every single rambley voice line and animation played and fell so in love with him, now a massive comfort character and ive draw. him like 12 times prior to the games first chapter being released like 2 days ago lol, ive never gotten so attached so quicky in my life which definitely makes rambley and indigo park a really special game.
I really love this game, the pacing is really well done, the horror isnt low quality, the like actual character models for lloyd and molly are really gorgeous, i just think the hair and some of the texturing is over done slightly, but definitely made me shit myself multiple times despite this, all while i was laughing with my new silly raccoon boyfriend 💜💜💜💜
hugeeeeww shoutout to team neutron for the the absolute gorgeous expressive rambley screen animations and the credits theme that left me almost tbe same way portal 2’s credits effected me the first time i ever played and definitely huge huge props to otterboyva for the super adorable voice of rambley.
what do I hope for the future of Indigo Park
I hope for the future of this game that content farms and bootleggers disregard it, but this doesnt give me hope seeing that one rambley plush that a company made before the first chapter even released that was completely unlicensed. I will be avoiding social media in efforts to not see people start shitting on this game if it becomes on the same level and milked by content farms like what happened to the amazing digital circus ( i watched this on the day the pilot released, and was equally devastated as many others to see it being used as low effort bait in shitty kids cartoons on youtube shorts )

Uh oh, who let me into a fandom again? Who left the niche within a niche door open??? Y’all should know better.
@sm-baby’s Carnival AU for The Amazing Digital Circus grabbed me by the bootstraps with??? Inspiration??? Not only have I dodged most fandoms and the motivation to draw fanart (not that I don’t want to show support; just no ideas in the noggin), but I genuinely don’t think I’ve sat down and put a non-ironic, genuine OC for a media I like on paper since my Warrior Cats/Creepypasta era. This AU didn’t just get me to sit down and make an OC that fits with the original media, but one that fits with their derivative. I saw other people doing it and it looked like so much fuunnn.

First, have standard TADC version! Either that or a player.
This is Tuus! They’re mainly based on the beanie baby dragon to fit that sweet sweet 90s theme, but generally a mixture of beloved childhood toys I have sitting on my shelf. She’s scruffy, worn, and kinda dirty looking and that’s on purpose. She’s bottom heavy, and I wanted her wings to give off the texture of that basically-plastic shiny fabric you used to see on a lot of toys.
No mouth, but a randomly appearing lizard tongue. For fun.

Tuus deals with the circus by sleeping. A lot. Too much. If you don’t need to sleep, then you don’t need to be awake. If she’s doing to be trapped in a digital hell, she might as well be catching up on her naps. And she will sleep in the worst places. Time for a digital feast? She’s on the table. Caine wants to have an adventure in the lake? Girl is at the bottom. Sleeping with the fishes fr fr. And you need to find her one day? Nowhere to be seen, probably on the roof.
It’s playing on the whole big, lazy, sleeping dragon thing that used to be in a lot of children stories I remember. But also how well loved childhood toys seem to pop up and disappear, there when you aren’t looking but gone when you are. Her name also means “Your” or “Thy.” Your dragon.
BUT AT THE CARNIVAL?

What amusement park is complete without a gift shop? What game doesn’t have a place to buy goofy digital goods? Tuus is the big lady in charge of the gift place of the Carnival! Her room is what should have been a shop of sorts, to buy whatever products that darned company would have tried to push. Cosmetics, virtual toys, digital snacks, whatever. But, uh, I don’t think anyone told them dragons don’t like to…. share. Becoming sentient did wonders for the attitude. You should be just fine if you don’t make too much noise, though! She’s a lazy lizard, and often sleeps sprawled around the place. I imagine the level would be set up like a maze, or a labyrinth. Isles and isles of things, with peaks of a tail or smoke every now and again. Toys, clothing, and even random things that shouldn’t be in there just trash the path. It’s your job not to step on anything! It’s different each time, though (a speed runner’s nightmare). One level you might get lucky and have a straight shot with a sleeping dragon, the next there might be so many things it’s physically impossible to reach any exit at all. Potentially can get out of trouble with some digital coin™, but you’ll have to have found enough hidden in the room to forgive each “damaged item.”

Here she is much, MUCH larger and far cleaner. An oversized display never meant to be bought. A collectors item far too expensive for a child. Think “I used to be a beloved toy and now I’ve been forgotten, even forgetting myself, and this is how I cope” favor VS “I have never known the touch of a person and have been trapped on this shelf only to be abandoned and have the personality of an unsocialized dog” flavor.
She has no mouth, but she bites.

I. HAVE. A BIG BRAIN IDEA FOR OF TADC/THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS. 🎪🎭🤡🐇
I imagined of a AU for TADC and for fun, which is called: Spirited Away AU. I know some of you never heard of or watched that movie, but it was sooo good, really it is ^^ (Give it a watch and then you'll see, it is very interesting ^^) Anyway yeah, it will be about Pomni arrived to the abandoned circus aka themed park, and when nighttime came, she is trapped in that place, and Ragatha become friends with Pomni and she helps her by giving her directions that Pomni has to get a job and work there in order to leave the place.
I imagined Pomni would be as Chihiro. Ragatha would be as Haku (not all being serious, just as herself). Caine would be as Yubaba the Witch and Owner of The Bathhouse. (I won't say he's evil and rude and all of that, buut... eh, the choice is yours) Zooble would be as Lin who works at the bathhouse. Kinger would be as Kamaji who works in the boiler. Gangle would be as No Face. (I think. idk) And Jax....hmm.... idk. Maybe as Zooble's another bathhouse assistant that he is their partner? Yeah I think so.
That's all I got to say, but yeah. Feel free to do that au idea like draw the TADC characters as SP characters for fun and yeah ^^ Just while doing that, give credit that this idea is mine. And yeah.

Progress has been made on Fazbear Fright: The Horror Attraction.
You descend the ladder and stand back to inspect the animatronic mural you’re creating, then move forward, climbing the rungs again to add a few more brushstrokes to the brim of bear’s top hat before you’re satisfied with the area you’ve completed on the cinderblock wall. It’s so much easier working with proper lighting. Decreased clutter as crates and boxes are unpacked have made the environment less hazardous. The decorated spaces are beginning to take shape, the vision steadily coming into focus. Originally the dining room portion was intended to solely be a visual recreation, but the lure of potential further profits has driven the development of an actual functioning restaurant, albeit much smaller and more basic than the original it draws inspiration from. The idea of a simple narrated, guided walking tour has evolved into construction of an actual ride on a controlled track throughout the building. It was almost becoming like a miniature indoor amusement park now, the scale and scope ever broadening.
Springtrap is nearby, flipping through the sketchbook you’re working from, glancing over the ideas that you create before coming to the repurposed warehouse. You can’t help but notice there is a distinct odor emanating from him now. Before it had been the fragrance of must; mildly unpleasant, but tolerable. Kind of like a dusty attic or old basement. Now it is evolving into something much more sinister. Fetid. You find yourself backing away whenever the yellow rabbit gets too close.
“There was no such mural in the original restaurant,” he comments, head cocked thoughtfully to one side as he regards your work.
“I know. I just thought it was a nice nod towards the stained glass versions of the mascots that were featured in the dining room. It’s a shame they were destroyed.”
“Quite. I notice you’ve also taken certain liberties with the designs as well.” His voice has changed significantly since you’d first met, the last vestiges of rusted disuse vanishing, becoming smoother, almost melodic.
“They wanted something more overtly horror themed. The razor teeth and dripping blood seemed the way to go.”
“A bit overdone, I think.”
You flush. You can feel the disapproval wafting from the rabbit encased figure. “It’s what the owner wanted,” you say defensively.
“The owner. Yes. I’m eager to meet this individual who saw fit to steal another man’s lifework.” He continues flipping through the book. Amazing how dexteritous the steel digits are. Pages turned without tearing or bending, an odd sort of delicate, respectful care in them. He pauses when he sees the image of a man’s face. Clearly out of place amidst all of the other drawings. “And what about this?”
“Oh. That’s the owner. The original one, I mean. William Afton.”
“I’m aware of who it is. I’m curious as to what inspired you to draw him?” There’s something buried in that query. You can’t define it, precisely, but the suited figure sounds…bemused? You’re not really sure.
“I don’t know. I just thought his face was interesting.” It was true. Something in the structure of the sharp lines of his facial features intrigues you: the high cheekbones, firm jawline and aquiline nose contrasting so starkly with soft looking, full lips. Piercing eyes that demanded attention immediately. So stern and proud looking in every picture. The broad spread of his shoulders. Spine ramrod straight. Perfect posture. Overall, he exuded a kind of intimidating presence, odd for someone that operated a children’s party themed restaurant.
You actually found the man himself intriguing as well. Not that there was much information available. So few photographs. Sparse quotations and blurbs here and there in the media. A greater focus on him during the latter years when the pizzeria’s popularity was at its peak, coinciding with the time period that the children had started going missing. The obvious blame and suspicion laced in every journalist’s article, the bias clear. Judgment passed. Condemned and found guilty on a moral level even though legally he’d never been convicted of any crime. Just that lingering idea that it was highly suspicious that these kids all went missing when they were in the vicinity of his establishment. How could he not know what had happened? If he was responsible, what motive did he have? What happened to the children? Why was there no evidence, no bodies ever discovered? Where was he now?
“So you did know him. I mean, you worked together, obviously. Did you know him well?” It’s a question you’ve been meaning to ask. The strange creature had taken his time before stating what his job title had been. Security guard. He certainly knew a lot of details. More than just casual knowledge that the average employee would have, you think. Pressing for insights about the missing children and the subsequent closure of the restaurant is always met with an abrupt end to your discourse. You’ve stopped inquiring.
The glowing eyes meet yours. A little shiver runs through you. You try to focus your gaze elsewhere. The decaying suit’s tattered fur. Worn buttons. Frayed bow. No work has been done on it at all. Maybe because it already looked perfect for a horror themed setting in its current state. You wonder how he would react to someone attempting to tinker with the mechanics of the suit. You think about the accident that had occurred when the mascot had been retrieved from its strange placement inside a vent. A man had almost died. Had it really been an accident?
“You could say that, yes.” Another cryptic answer issued. He’s definitely hiding something.
“Did he ever talk about what happened?”
“No.” He closes the sketchbook. You get the feeling it’s a metaphor for the conversation ending. A touchy subject for some reason. You decide you’ll drop it for now, resuming you work. Time to give the lead star some more attention. Hesitating over paint colors before you decide on blending several to create a brighter shade of red. Very aware of how closely Springtrap is supervising you. It’s difficult keeping your hand steady.
“You’ll recall you offered to get me whatever I wanted? In exchange for your continued existence in this mortal plane, as it were?”
You set your brush down, a chill going down your spine. It’s the first time he’s mentioned that ill concealed threat since he’d first issued it. “Yes. I mean, within reason. I can’t, like, rob a bank and get you a million dollars.”
“I wouldn’t expect you to. I don’t require financial assistance in any case. This is something much different. Your participation in an experiment, of sorts.”
“An experiment?” This sounded ominous. You’re already feeling a sense of dread building for whatever plan he’s teasing the outlines of.
“Yes. I’m sure you’ve noticed certain…changes in my condition.”
“Mmm-hmm.” You lift the paint brush once again and attempt a few strokes of crimson to highlight the bear’s rosy cheeks. Struggling. Surely he can see past this facade of calmness.
“I have a theory that it might be related to what happened that day when you reached inside.”
You swallow past a lump forming in your throat. “That was an accident.”
“Oh, most assuredly. A fortunate one, I think. The only way to be certain of its efficacy is to replicate it.”
“You want me to put my hand inside you again?” You don’t know if you can force yourself to. Especially now that things seem so much…wetter inside. Fleshy. Like caressing a rotting corpse. That’s what he is, isn’t he? The bits you can see. A man that should be dead, somehow alive. You wonder sometimes if you’ve lost your mind. If it isn’t all a hallucination. A nightmare. But it’s all so vivid. So real.
“You’d only have to do it briefly. Just like before.” As if that made the prospect any more appealing.
You shiver again. “I don’t…I don’t know if I can. If I can make myself.”
“Is it really such a hardship?”
“It feels…strange.”
“I agree.”
“Unpleasant. Like…it’s not natural touching the inside of a living thing. Forbidden. It’s warm and wet…”
“Yes, it is.” There’s something almost fond in his tone. As if he’s reminiscing. Savoring a memory. The rabbit’s head drops forward sharply. “We had a deal. It’s not open for debate. You will do this.” He advances towards you. There’s nowhere to go. A wall of wet paint at your back. Could you outrun him? You dare not risk it.
Why did you have to be the one to do this? Why couldn’t he have chosen someone else to torment? Just your dumb luck that you worked evenings, when there was no one else around. Revealing himself to you and you alone. Your fates intertwining. Keeping his secret in exchange for you keeping your life.
Just get it over with already. Teeth clenched. You rub sweaty palms on your coveralls. “Where am I touching?”
“Wherever you prefer.”
You suppose the previous place was as good a spot as any. That gaping cavity in the chest portion of the costume. Fingers outstretched. You’re shaking. Should you close your eyes? Was it worse to see it? You preferred watching when you got shots at the doctor’s office. Seeing the needle pierce the skin. At least you could observe what was happening, the precise moment the breach was made. Eyes open, then. You suck in a deep breath and thrust your hand across the remaining distance.
You’re reminded of a Halloween party you’d attended as a child. There had been a table of mystery food items that were meant to represent horror themed substances. A plate of cold congealed spaghetti for brains. Slimy gelatin serving as monster guts. Pudding for zombie vomit. Peeled grapes for eyeballs. Creepy and fun in your youth.
This sensation now, anything but. Your fingers sink into heat, into slime. A distressing firmness palpated further in. An organ? That strange purple light slithering over you again. Coiling and uncoiling. Serpentine. Running over your fingertips as if they were the bars of a prison. Seeking a way to escape.
You can’t tolerate it. You attempt to jerk your hand free, but Springtrap has captured your wrist. There’s no escaping that steel manacle. How long have you been touching him? Surely longer than the first time now. This close, you can see inside the headpiece through the gap in the animatronic’s teeth. Patches of skin. Ligaments and tendons and muscle and bone. Raw, oozing tissue. Those horrible teeth, still so starkly white, so clean compared to the rest of the massacred flesh within.
You’re getting lightheaded. Drowsy. As if your energy is being sapped. Is that what he’s doing? Stealing your lifeforce and making it his own? Reanimation. His insides writhe against you. Restless. Impatient. Eager to find a point of egress.
And then you’re shoved, so hard you stumble and end up in a collapsed heap on the floor. Panting. Diaphoretic. But alive. You’ve been spared again.
“So that’s it.” The rabbit figure’s voice low. Not addressing you. Musing aloud. Attention focused elsewhere. “When it opens, when there are others present…an endless supply…”
You struggle to regain your footing. “What?”
“Hmm? Oh. Nothing you need concern yourself with. You’ve been most helpful. You can return to your work now.” So casually dismissive. As if you hadn’t just had your hand buried inside his body. Doing…whatever that had been.
You look down at the extremity that had been plunged inside of the mascot. Nothing visible. Not even a smudge of dirt from the soiled costume this time around. But you can feel…something. You drag your hand against your clothing, trying to wipe the unpleasant feeling away.
It doesn’t help. You can still feel it. Beneath the layers. Marked. Tarnished. Tainted. Deep inside.

At long last, I'm excited to share my FULL piece for 'Behind the Mayhem Fanzine'!!!🥰 A callback of sorts to the very first Muppet film where Kermit and Fozzie run into the band at that old church; I always wanted their coffee shop to be a real place! (maybe even as another lil eatery destination in the Disney parks, like Rizzo's pizza place? get on it, theme park designers!)

ARCHITECTURE STUDY : CYBERPUNK 2077

Cyberpunk architecture is a sub-genre of architecture the draws inspiration from the futuristic, dystopian settings found in cyberpunk literature and movies. It is often identified by a blend of futuristic, high tech design and gritty industrial features. The architecture draws heavily from the architecture of the 20th century—primarily the Brutalist movement. The Brutalist movement is a style that developed in the 1950s in the United Kingdom post World War II. There is a distinct emphasis on materials, textures, and construction.  Cyberpunk architecture makes use of the Brutalist movement’s concrete, steel and glass concepts in a natural and unpolished manner. Yet, it manages to add high-tech elements such as holographic projections, neon lights, digital displays, etc.  In the case of Cyberpunk 2077’S Night City a sprawling metropolis with large skyscrapers and mega-buildings create the beautiful skyline, yet the city is an evident mix of old and new—run down buildings manage to co-exist with high-tech structures.  Night City uses a lot of references to L.A, Detroit, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, however they primarily worked on from a clean slate. Urban Design experts were involved in the process to ensure that Night City looks credible—moving as a real city.
Night City wants to make you feel small and meaningless. The higher the building the more dominant it is. What happens behind the building is of little importance. That is why you get slum like areas even in the more central locations. Although there are obviously some things that could have been done about it, it seems that Night City was not built as a Theme Park. The image of the city, or how the inhabitants see it seems of little importance. Night City is a living, breathing metaphor. It is what you get when ambition, violence and overpopulation are the core foundation of the world you are building. Everybody wants a piece of the pie even if there is not enough for everybody. There are four varieties of stylistic identity used in the construction of the game: Entropism, Kitsch, Neo-Militarism, and Neo-Kitsch:
Entropism: Necessity over style. Buildings created in this style are old, grey and decrepit and are will often be found in areas where people cannot afford to modernize with the rest of society. Entropism, is a style based on poverty and a severe lack of resources. In a nutshell, this style visually tells the story of the very poor social layer of our world.
Kitsch: Style over Substance. Counter-Cultural movement against the austerity of the old days; an expression of happiness an d recovered. Bold colors, bright plastic and accessibility. Kitsch describes a slightly richer social layer of our world. Members of this social class would use some cyberware just to look amazing and grab attention. Architecture here would also be very attractive, with a lot of vibrant colors, a lot of shiny materials like plastic or good fabrics.
Neo-Militarism: Substance over style. Separated from the austerity of Entropism by its sleek and domineering aesthetic. It’s power dressing and has an air of luxury. A deadly layers of elegance and corporate, militaristic fashion. Associated with mega-corporations. Neomilitarism is very minimalistic, very rich, and very sleek. 
Neo-Kitsch: Style and substance. Holds similarity to Kitsch however it lacks semblance to the movement its predecessor aligned with. This is the youngest style in Night City but also a style only for the richest of the rich. People so rich you cannot even begin to imagine what you would do with all the money that they have. It uses only the most expensive materials in our universe like wood, gold, real animal leather and very unique but slick architecture design.
ARCHITECTS BENJAMIN BALL AND ALEX READINGER'S REVIEW OF NIGHT CITY IN CYBERPUNK 2077
Do you think it is realistic, what it would be like in 2070?:
Benjamin Ball: “I think cities are going to become more and more dense. We are going to be more packed in close to infrastructure. Old zoning rules will not apply. We will have to build closer and higher—we will have to build closer to freeways. People will have less personal space. There will be more, and more, runaway capitalism…Yeah maybe this [Night City] is a good take on what 2077 would look like...Hyper dense, very vertical places. “A lot of signage take on a lot of visage on the buildings.”
How sustainable do you think the city will be?
Alex Readinger: “It doesn’t look sustainable at all. There are wall-mounted exterior air conditioner units. This particular cyberpunk version has this ‘Bladerunner’ neon, whereas my version of the future would be powered by algae.”
Benjamin Ball: “Hard to say. Out environments would be synthetic—will be manufactured….Climate will have changed. It will be like living in a machine. Is that sustainable? I don’t know…We would be a lot more solar, a lot more nuclear, and a lot more hydrogen. Who knows?
Cyberpunk 2077 captures a lens of the world that encapsulates the future not just architecturally, but also sonically, politically, and in every single way. 
Alex Readinger: “What is frightening is that it feels like a world without relief. Endless sex shops, neon—no end to the noir experience.”
Benjamin Ball: “Endless trail. Endless maze. There is no break from the commercialism of it. Nothing comes out as sacred. There is no nature—it is all about consumption and desire. It’s relentless and it’s where we are headed.”
When you get to the columbarium—even death has be industrialized. “Step up as a uniform and non-personal gridded space with a digital readout. Even spaces that could be sacred was specifically designed not to be.” (Alex Readinger)
PROJECT: HOW/WHY IS IT APPLICABLE?
I plan to recreate chosen locations in Louisville while staying true to architectural design choices that have been used to create Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City. Since cities do not have to be recreated to have a Cyberpunk feel. All a city needs to go through is layers and layers of add-ons while keeping everything in the past. So I will do that exact thing with Louisville. Staying true to our local history while adding a bit of the fictional narratives associated with the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. For example, the downtown builds may depict Humana or the PNC Bank as a “mega-corporation” that domineers over all. Additionally, I will apply the concepts of brutalism into my builds as well.

Platonic Miguel O'Hara X Reader

Hey everyone :) sorry for the delay but fear not, as promised the protective platonic Miguel fix is now upon you so let's get into it. Word count:794
Your first solo mission, how exciting is that !!. After so many duo missions and training with Miguel and the others had led to this.
"Peter can you believe it ??, my first solo mission !!"
"Oh yeah ??, that's amazing kiddo" He smiled as he was feeding Mayday. She babbled happily hearing the news as well.
"I know Mayday isn't it exciting ??, maybe when you're older you can go on missions with y/n"
She shrieked in excitement, loving the prospect of the idea. This boosted y/n's confidence. Miguel put a lot of trust in you, he knew you were ready for this.
You readied your world device and the portal to the dimension that you were meant to go to.
"Remember, find the anomaly. Restrain it and bring it back to HQ Ok??" Miguel reminded you before you went off.
"You got it Miggy" you smiled as you pulled on your mask and went inside the portal. Miguel grew to love the new nickname you've given him. It showed how close you two have become after he recruited you into the society.
You ended up in the dimension and entered a warehouse, from what Lyla has said, this is where the anomaly was hiding. You set up a trap to make sure that when the anomaly comes through it'll trip and easy peasy lemon squeezy.
You then heard monstrous footsteps and immediately webbed up to the ceiling. Hiding in plain sight.
"Almost done and then I can go on smoko" This anomaly had an Australian accent, had a tail, and looked scaley and muscular. "Lizard ??" you wondered.
Just like that, Lizard tripped on the web and you ducked into action.
"Well G'Day mate, how about I place another shrimp on the barbie" Using the worst Australian accent as possible.
"Well well, we got another spidey ey ??, it's gonna take more than a web to stop me." He then frilled up his neck and let out a roar, shoot a frilled neck lizard anomaly of lizard.
"Woah that's a cool party trick. You could get a job as a theme park mascot." You joked as you then fought Lizard. But the fight turns out to be much tougher than you thought.
Lizard blew punch after punch. Eventually leaving you beaten and wounded. But back at spider society Miguel was notified of what was happening, your world device is linked to his so if something were to go wrong, his world device would say so. Now instantly worried when he saw the flashing light on his device. he immediately set forth to get to you.
you were getting beaten hard. Your suit was now getting destroyed and the lizard had you constrained with his tail. Your hands however were still free so you tried to web his face but he grabbed your wrists and destroyed your web shooters with his long sharp nails.
"Poor poor Spidey, can't even stop an old bloke like me ??" He smirked evilly, he was about to slash your face with his nails but then 4 red webs came out of nowhere. Eventually, a portal opened up and Miguel lunged at Lizard. punching him multiple times.
"Don't. You. Touch. Them" He yelled angrily before his mask digitally disintegrated, He then opened his mouth. Fangs showed as he bit into the lizard's skin, paralyzing him. He immediately pressed the device on him and a red barrier enveloped the lizard. Immediately calling for assistance to bring him back. You didn't see what was happening. You were slowly about to pass out from your injuries until you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around you and pick you up.
"Miguel... ??" You spoke weakly
"It's ok y/n, your safe now El amigo" (Buddy) He spoke softly, gently carrying you back to the society and to the medical. He never left your side.
You woke up a few hours later, and you then felt a hand holding yours. Miguel was sitting next to you in the chair next to your bed. You smiled and gently squeezed his hand. You were always grateful for Miguel. He woke up from the shift in his hand.
"Hey... how are you feeling ??"
"Somewhat better....." but your expression turned sad.
"Miggy..... I failed the mission, I'm sorry" You bowed your head dejectedly.
"Hey hey… it's ok" He gently squeezed your hand.
"We captured him, It was my fault, I didn't know how powerful he'd be"
y/n chuckled.
"I guess we had an interesting experience huh miggy ??"
"I guess so y/n, I guess so" He softly smiled at you. Glad you were ok.
No matter what happens. Miguel will always protect you. He lost his daughter, he wasn't going to lose you too. He will always protect you until his last breath. His best friend.

🫧waterpark au concept/general idea! (wip)🌊
working name(?): The Amazing Digital Mer-Park
overview/concept: The circus is replaced with a massive waterpark, each character getting their own section of it that's themed off their personality as well as what their section of the park is dedicated to! while it hasnt been decided who does what yet some examples are:
swimming classes
food, drinks, and treats
water shows
I've also mixed in some mermaid stuff and theming since each character has their own sea creature/animal (based on their personality or what i think suits them best) that they turn into, like a mermaid ofc. I actually have the offical list for this since its like teh only thing ive decided fully on lol (under the cut aswell as more info)

I am considering whether they should be AI that have human souls in them or just be humans on their own as it is normally in TADC.
game overview: The concept for as a "game" is that its a free roam pick your own team sorta adventure. At the start of the game the player would originally get to choose which section of the waterpark they want to go to. This is where they would choose to be a "visitor" (temporary so you can go to other sections of the water park and check them all out or just enjoy the mini games) or they can choose to be an "employee" in which you would help the AIS/Characters with whatever their section is based on or does! its a major wip and im planning on messing around with it but that's kinda the basics as of now
