It's 2pm, my city's pride parade starts at 2pm in a part of town that's like 20 minutes away in public transportation, my best friend said we would go together but they made other plans for this afternoon so I'm going alone, and it's raining. Do I even bother.

You should respond to reblog comments more tbh. People are taking the time to reblog your stuff, and tell you how much they enjoyed it and not answering is kinda rude. I love your fics, and you seem nice and all, but I’ve seen your notes recently— they’re nowhere near what they used to be and you don’t get anywhere near as much interaction as other CoD writers. It’d probably help your blog a lot! Just some advice, but maybe think about it! 😘💖
this has been sitting in my inbox for a few days cause i've been debating about whether or not i want to answer this, but i'm 98% sure you're the same anon who's sent me a few other messages since they all use the same kiss emoji and are riddled with the same backhanded bullshit you're spewing here, and you've succeeded in annoying me so here's your answer before you get blocked. 😘
i do this for fun. writing is not my bread and butter, it's not how i make my money, it's not how i support myself. it is a hobby. i use some of my free time to write and post fics for my own enjoyment above all else. i don't give a fuck about how many notes, or likes, or reblogs i do or don't get. is it nice to see them and see comments from people who enjoy my stuff? absolutely. i'm incredibly thankful for anyone who takes time out of their day to read one of my fics and even more so for people who go out of their way to interact with me and my work, but i'm not going to worry myself over numbers, because that's not why i write.
also, i've been in fandom spaces for a long time and, i hate to break it to you, but more often than not fandoms tend to slow down and die after the initial hype. i posted my first CoD fic like a week or two after the game came out when it was blowing up all over social media, of course it got an unusually high amount of notes that were, honestly, a little bit overwhelming at the time. now it's been some time, and the hype for the game has died down, so people are moving on to different shows/games/etc. which means interaction is gonna slow down. it happens, and i don't intend to sit and worry over how many asks or reblogs or whatever i get compared to other blogs. that's not fair to me, the other authors, or the people interacting. i'm happy with where my blog is at, and the amount of interaction i get.
i've said this a few times already, but i work a full-time job and have other obligations outside of tumblr. i don't have a lot of free time, and have to plan ahead how i want to spend it. i try my best to respond to replies, to answer asks, and everything else when i can, but i am an adult with adult responsibilities and just don't have time to keep up with every single like and reblog i get. that doesn't mean i'm purposely ignoring anyone, or that i'm ungrateful, i just simply don't have the time to keep up with every single notification i get. if i had more time in the day, then i'd probably respond more and be more active here in general, but i don't.
i greatly appreciate every single follower i have, every person who likes, reblogs, comments, replies, sends asks, etc. while i write for myself, it's always nice seeing other people enjoying my work, i won't pretend that it isn't. it absolutely blows me away the amount of people who like my writing enough to tell me. i'm always open to people sending me stuff, and try to respond as best i can, but i feel it's unfair (and not just to me, but to other writers and creators in general) to call me rude for not responding how you think i should. and i think it's even more rude for you to come into my inbox (on anon of all things) to spam me with messages about how you think i should run my blog with condescending and backhanded asks that you want to pretend is friendly advice.
i think it would be good for you to take some time and step away from tumblr and go outside, touch some grass, climb a tree, eat some dirt, or interact with real people, and maybe try to realize that, outside of this blog, i am a person too and one who really doesn't need to deal with this shit.
Just some advice, but maybe think about it! 😘💖

just my thoughts on the current state of this fandom... feel free to scroll past...
I used to watch Hololive girls especially Calli and Gura. I just think they are great streamers and singers. But what made me back away from their fanbase was their fans. I think it sucks that its common for gachikoi and unicorns to exist in the vtuber world.
When I discovered Holostars, I was kinda surprised that they look like they are all on the same page even if they have their kamioshi, they would also support the other guys. I will be honest, when it comes to fandoms, I am a but a lurker. But ホロスタ民 (holosutamin) / Starlights got me to interact. It was easy to talk to anyone. And if any of the Stars are being pulled down, Starlights are there to not talk badly but to show support, extra hard. They'll trend but not in the bad way, it'll be flooded with love and support from Starlights.
Recently, we had 2 fallen Stars and although it made me sad. Seeing the orc back made me feel better. I'm still sad mind you but at least I know they are doing great.
I'll be honest when Mayuzumi Kai of Nijisanji and Tsukumo Sana of Hololive Council graduated, I cried quite a lot. I guess its because I don't know what gonna happen to them, like if they are happy and healthy. It sounds crazy but that was me for probably 2-3 days.
So again, when the orc posted that damn spear, I was kinda satisfied. Also Astel singing made me feel at ease. But I still get teary whenever, I see fanarts of them, especially from Vesties and Magmites thanking them.
What surprised me are some of the fans. There are those that openly support Randon and Professor Lando, and those the openly would say that they will mute or block anyone talking about Randon and Professor Lando.
I've read that they feel betrayed from immediately streaming a day or 2 after the announcement. That they didn't even try to have a graduation stream. Here's my 2 cents. They are under an agency, whatever they say on those notices are possibly not all true, it was vague regardless how much I read it. We don't know if they were really given the option to have a goodbye stream and we don't even know why they choose to leave, heck we didn't even know if they had the choice to stay! Will they talk about it? Most likely not. NDAs exists.
Also I don't think it was unfair that they decided to stream right after the announcement. Professor Lando has been streaming for a while but for Randon, he has been inactive for a year. And I couldn't blame them for streaming immediately, regardless of how you look at it, streaming is a job. Its been 7 weeks since they last streamed. And what are they gonna do, wait? For who? When they are essentially has been let go.
People cope differently. My thoughts about this whole situation is still muddy. Sure, I'm distracted by Holostars Rust and next week it'll be the first anniversary celebration of Guild Tempus. But there is still a part of me wanting to know what the F*** happened.
I still feel like Cover / Hololive Production trying to distract the fans and cover this whole situation up. I feel like they urged Temma to start season 2 of Holostars Rust cause they know how the fans will feel after the announcement. They even tried to hype up the event by posting an official Holostars Rust season 1 highlights video. Management even paid for the trophy for this season.
Then they also suddenly announced the Tempus anniversary, why do I think this is another distraction? Shinri found out about the anniversary while he is streaming Rust. Shinri was even planning a long break after Rust.
I can't push my ideas to others, the only thing I can do is write my thoughts. If I have one wish for this whole situation, is that the boys don't feel this divide. Just dont let the boys feel that this is their fault. From the 2 Stars that have talked about this situation, they also know this whole thing is also less than ideal.
My wish for the fans, I just hope this feeling of excluding people for their preference fade. I don't want this fandom to divide merely because of an individual's preference.
And I wish for management to talk to their talents of both branches before any announcements or events. I hate that announcements like this have to overlap with projects that the talents worked hard on. Don't merely let your talents talk about things when it should be management that should be announcing it first. When they feel burdened, even if they don't say it outright, we feel it too. Don't forget, Holostars' fans are mostly women. Women's intuition is crazy.

why am I such a sucker for nice voices aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I still like my seiyuu faves of course but the lack of situational drama cds has really made it hard for me to enjoy seiyuu-related content 'cause I've really really REALLY lost patience with gacha games lol
only one I'll play is saisuta bc I refuse to abandon sidem haha
and thus vtubers has become a godsend, and yet also not 'cause I really do not have the attention span for 1+ hr long streams aha...
I unfortunately don't have the sort of job where I can easily just listen to a vod in the bg while working so... the times I'd really be able to listen to vods is...limited ; u ;
that being said
sonny, shu, nagao have me in a chokehold, and maybe alban? that's tbd lol OH AND MAGNI TOO looooooooooooooooord
the thing with shu is that somehow I don't really have the patience for his streams lol orz 100% on me, I think maybe humor just isn't a good fit ; ; but otherwise yeah I like his talking voice a lot, actually ; u ;
and then the thing with alban is that I like his voice a lot more when he isn't being hyped for chat LOL orz
nagao sounds like a gremlin 99% of the time, but actually in this case I like that about him HAHA it becomes a good contrast for when he sings or is being more serious in anything
and sonny well... let's just say his voice is basically everything I could ask for LMFAO god it's disgusting (positive) wwwwww really wide range where his voice sounds pretty comfortable/natural, but his "real" natural voice is nice and warm and like... not too deep. if it's too deep, it ends up grating on my ears if I listen to it for a long time... I could listen to sonny talk forever LOL... AND THEN his singing is ALSO good... AND his acting... his voice is like. smooth as butter, but also really relaxed and chill. wtf. he's so unfair. he's too perfect lmao (':
and then there's magni out here with a smoooooooooooooooth af voice. and during debut when the love potion spilled? LIKE. SIR WTF WAS THAT???? I felt second-hand embarrassment but also was like. flushge. LMFAO. would love to buy voice stuff if h0l0 does that sort of thing weh...
that being said. THAT BEING SAID.
after hearing host!oliver from tamaki's host club stream recently... I'm beginning to wonder how many more njsnj members actually have good, natural ikebo voices that I've yet to hear.........................
it's kind of terrifying LOL
esp considering one vp of like. maaaybe 5 minutes in length? is like. 1000 yen. LMAO. highway robbery, compared to seiyuu drama cds...
I do think I might genuinely try to get an oliver vp sometime, if I like the theme... yumeoi and perhaps belmond too lol. thanks tamaki...wwww
I'd love a roberu vp too, but again idk what the h0l0 system is like (do they even have vps lmfao) so I'll have to look that up sometime...!
I typed all this while listening to random bits of random nagao karaoke vods and wehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh he's by no means a perfect singer but the potential is there and when he's on a roll with a song, he sounds SO good!!!!! T A T )b
I think relative to shu and sonny, I love how variable and versatile nagao can be with his singing. The texture of his voice changes so much and makes his performances sound so full of life, to me.
Shu's mellow songs are my fave (flos, shoujo rei especially), though his other song performances during karaoke have also been great. sonny is a belter and it sounds SO good. but with these two, their voices are pretty stable, don't change too much in texture. which is good and fine!! nothing bad at all!!
I think I just occasionally enjoy more raspy/gravelly + smoky vibe like nagao's <:
idk if there's any trend or similarities amongst the voices that I like tbh bc I think there actually ISN'T... LOL... but whatever I like what I like > u < )b
ANYWAY... I love nice voices.............. it soothes the soul for me........................

MLB Rant: Let's Stop Hating on Alya
Tumblr media
Two rant posts in a row? It's more likely than you think. It's been almost a week since "Optigami" was released, and I don't think I've ever seen more discourse in this fandom. Obviously, the episode was really hyped up, and a lot of people were disappointed despite trying to keep their expectations low. Personally, I think we got a lot of necessary info from that episode, but I'll save that discussion for another time. I want to talk about Alya. If you've been engaged with the fandom since last Sunday, you've probably encountered a lot of phrases like "Alya doesn't deserve to keep the miraculous" and "Alya is stealing screen time from Chat" and (most prominently) "I thought this was 'Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir, not Ladybug and Rena Rouge'".
I'll be the first to admit that Alya is 100% getting more screen time this season. Marinette had a total breakdown because of all the stress she was under, and this eventually led to her telling Alya the truth. This was obviously a very big deal, as it's the first time any character has known the identities of the main characters. While this was met with mostly positive responses, some people seemed disappointed that Chat didn't find out first. The entire reason "Chat Blanc" happened was b/c of Adrien finding out Ladybug's identity, and while it hasn't been mentioned, I definitely think it's the main reason why Marinette has no interest in an intentional reveal anytime soon. Also, Master Fu made it very clear how dangerous it is for them to know their true identities, and I believe Marinette (who we know is quite the rule follower) took this to heart. She's spent the past year telling Chat they can't reveal themselves, so revealing herself to him would not only feel wrong to her but also make her feel like a hypocrite.
With that out of the way, Mr. Pigeon 72 and Optigami showed us that tough situations require Rena Rouge's powers. Giving her the miraculous permanently doesn't make her a part of the dynamic duo; it simply means that Ladybug has someone she can trust if her and Chat are in a bind. In Marinette's own words, Alya keeping the miraculous is a precaution "in case something happens to her". The fact that Hawk Moth has gotten so powerful that she's afraid she may not be there one day (gosh, that's dark) tells us that this is "just in case". Marinette even says Rena would be replacing her, not Chat. We also don't yet know if Chat knows or not that Rena will be playing a larger role. If he doesn't, it wouldn't be because she doesn't trust him; hearing that she's finding someone to replace her in case something happens to her would break his heart. Remember, she didn't even want Chat to know that giving up the role of guardian would cause her to lose her memories!
Again, we don't really know what the writers are planning. It's very unlikely that Alya will turn her back on Ladybug, and from the end-credit scene in Optigami, it feels more like Hawk Moth is just going to try and find a way to endanger her, making Marinette realize her mistake. Also, can we acknowledge the fact that Ladybug made a mistake!? Things that happen in the show are actually having consequences, and I'm glad we're seeing the story progress with previous episodes affecting the next one.
In conclusion, I feel like the fandom turning on Alya is quite unfair. You can have your opinions, but we shouldn't hate on her simply because Marinette has begun to rely on her more. Everyone appreciates her when she tries to get Marinette and Adrien closer, but as soon as she's "interfering" with LadyNoir, she's suddenly considered annoying and devious. They're best friends, and they should be able to depend on one another. I think the writers are definitely setting something up in terms of conflict (perhaps having to do with Chat feeling left out), but this isn't something that should be blamed on Alya or Marinette. I guess we'll just have to see what's in store for the rest of Season 4 :)

"I'ma break you off, let me be your motivation"
index
Today was the day you and the rest of class 1A can finally try out their hero costumes. You smiled, looking at yourself in the mirror, giving yourself butterflies as you do so.
Your hero costume was a simple black bodysuit type. Garters attacked to the clothing helped keep your thigh high boots up. The top covered your entire arms, hands and fingers- you designed it this way so your palms wouldn’t be littered with callouses given that you deal with weapons like swords and scythes every time you use your quirk.
The bodysuit is a title neck type that showed off your shoulders. Your costume is finished off with a full face black kitsune mask with glowing blue paint around the eyes, it makes up the whiskers as well as a little nose of a fox.
You keep it up on your head, not wanting to put it on unless you're engaging in combat.
You close your locker, joining the girls who are hyping each other up in what they’re wearing. You all step out of the changing area and you can’t help but feel giddy as you approach your teachers, excited with the activities for today.
Everyone begins freaking out at the site of All Might- which you don’t get at all. He’s blond, has a freakish smile and a built body. So what? “Who’s he?” You whisper at Mina who looks at you as if you’ve grown two heads.
“What?”
You sigh, “Who’s he? And why is everyone freaking out about him?” You ask again and Mina gives you that same look, but much worse. She’s acting as if you’ve just asked a very stupid question. “That’s All Might.” She answers, tone unusually calm and soft.
“I meat who is he?”
“The number one hero.”
You furrow your brows, gaze scanning the man who’s busy talking in front of the awestruck class. You tilt your head to the side, “That’s your number one pro hero?” You ask, pouting.
“You sound a lot of things- underwhelmed? Disappointed? Dissatisfied?” Bakugou says from behind you, the look in his eyes catching you off guard. You pause for a moment, choosing your words carefully to make sure you’re not offending anyone who’s within earshot.
“You look up to him?” You ask and he raises a brow at you as if you’ve just asked the most obvious question in all time. “He’s been my hero since forever. I look up to him more than anyone in the world. He’s my inspiration and the one of the biggest contributors to my dream go being a hero.” Your eyebrows lift in shock, you’ve never heard nor seen Bakugou respect a person so much. And by the looks of Mina, Kirishima and Denki, they haven’t seen this side of him either.
Your heart breaks as you return your gaze to the number one hero in front of you, smiling sadly. You don't know how or why, but your judgement tells you that the seven-footer man in front of you isn't all that powerful- not anymore at least.
"Here's the breakdown. There will be four teams of two- half of them will be heroes and the other half will be villains. The hero team can win in two ways; you can either capture the villains or retrieve the bomb. The villain team wins if the hero team is unable to do any of the tasks within the time limit." He explains quite clearly and thoroughly.
You feel your heart beat against your chest, you're feeling very giddy. Your excitement causes Bakugou's lips to twitch upwards, carving out a soft smile to which he hides almodt immediately so no one can see him.
All Might pulls out a draw lots box, letting fate decide which teams everyone belong to. You end up being teammates with Aoyama and Mina who you happily greet.
Everyone is asked to stay inside a monitoring room to watch and observe their classmates in battle. When All Might announces Bakugou and Izuku's team being up first, you don't think before walking up to the blond and placing a hand on his shoulder. He turns his head to the side, raising an expecting brow.
"Good luck out there." You smile softly to which he scoffs at. "I don't need luck to win." He punches his palm as he sets of his quirk, "I already know I will."
You roll your eyes, walking towards Izuku to wish him good kuck as well before following the class to the monitor room. Your eyes scan over the wall of monitors, finding it closely similar to the monitor room your house has back in the US.
As you watch Bakugou and Izuku in battle, it's clear to see that there's something going on between them. There seems to be a conflict between them that you can't quite point and as much as you wanted to ask Bakugou about it, you decided to wait until he'd tell you.
Why on earth do you think he'd tell you?
You shake your head and clear your stupid thoughts, stepping away into a corner and sitting down to mentally prepare yourself. As you try to meditate, you don't realise how much time has went by until you're being called by All Might for your turn.
You scan the room but don't spot an angry blond nor an angel look-a-like green haired boy. You pout, hoping to at least see thosep pretty vermilion eyes before the activity.
As you take your steps towards the building, a small smile stretches across your lips when you see Bakugou's familiar back towards you, only for it to smile when you see just how upset he looks like.
"C'mon, Y/n! We're the villains right now we can't be late!!" Mina calls out to you, waving her hand up. You look back at Bakugo one last time, your gazes catching each other before you step inside the building, pulling your mask down to cover your face.
"Hey Mina? Can you let me take charge of our group?" You ask as the three of you make your way towards the room where the fake bomb is. "Alright! We'll be at your command!" She salutes to you a little too enthusiastically to which you chuckle softly at, making sure to smile with your eyes to make sure she sees you're smiling despite the mask covering your face.
After All Might makes sure each teams' statuses are a go, he commences the activity. "Alright. What would you like for us to do, captain?" Mina asks. You stay quiet for a moment, summoning two katanas in each of your hands. You move them around, making sure your wrists are loose and flexible before actually using them.
"You guys can stay still and guard the bomb." You say, adjusting your gloves before turning around to face the only entrance and exit of the room. "I'll have to go and hunt me some heroes."
Tumblr media
"It's been a few minutes since they started and when Y/n suddenly disappeared like that. What do you think the villains are planning?" Tsuyu asks, eyes on the screen as the class continues to search for you in every monitor in the wall, but to no avail.
"I've been seeing a few mice here and there. Do you think that's Koda's doing?" Kirishima asks, to which Denki asks back, "Are the mice you see dead or alive?"
Kirishima furrows his brows at the blond, about to explain how the mice are alive but stops himself when he looks back at the screen and sees the mice he was looking at just a few seconds ago was now dead, body sliced in half. He checks the other monitors as well and his confusion rises even more at the sight of multiple dead mice all over the floors.
"Time is ticking, heroes. You better get to the bomb or if this was a real life situation it'd have blown up by now." All Might says into the mic which puts pressure on the two boys.
The class watches in anticipation as the two steps into a wide and open room, somewhere similar to where Bakugou and Izuku were fighting in a while ago.
"No one's here." Sato states, turning around. "Then, there should only be one room left-"
"Leaving so soon, heroes?" You ask, body leaning on the closed door with one foot pressed on it and your arms crossed across your chest.
Sato and Koda raise their guards, stepping into a fighting stance as theylook at you with such focused eyes. You chuckle, "Your little friends running around the building were pretty hard to find. Not to mention there were quite a handful of them which caused me to reach my speed quirk's limit."
"So it was Y/n who sliced all those rats? But we didn't see her at all. There were no movements in any of the cameras." Sero points out, confusion evident in his face. "Well, she did use her speed quirk. And if what she stated was true, then she'll be no longer to use that quirk of hers, at least during this fight." Iida voices out.
"Two guys against one girl? Isn't that too unfair for her?" Mineta asks, receiving a growl from Bakugou. "If you think her being a girl puts her at a disadvantage you're wrong. If you wanna be a hero, it doesn't matter what your gender is, as long as you're strong."
Despite being in a foul mood, Bakugou still found himself wanting to fight for you. He didn't like the thought of people lookibg down at him, but he found it weird how he preferred it when people not look down at you instead.
"Come on boys. I'll keep this quick and short for you so we can end this activity already." Fingerless boxing gloves appear in each of your hands, they're black but with neon blue accents. You get into a fighting stance, "I really hate sweating."
Sato charges at you, throwing a naive punch at your way to which you dodge easily- scoffing. What was he trying to do, intimidate a little child? As you moved your body to the side, dodging his immature punch, you punch him in the gut, eyes on Koda as you do this.
You hear Sato wheeze before his body falls to the ground. You crack your knuckles, walking towards Koda who begins to panic, using his quirk to call in all sorts of birds and squirrels.
"Koda, this is as scary as being chased by a street gang of kittens." You say, stepping towards him. You step to his side, bringing your hand up to his forehead and flicking it, the contact causing him to tremble before losing consciousness.
Your mother's body guard taught you this- it was a skill he said that most assassins he worked with knows about. He never clearly explained to you how to do it, but as long as your opponent had the slightest bit of fear for you, it will end up working. For Koda's case, he looked like he was about to piss his pants, so it worked out a little too well for you.
"Y/n's team wins this round." All Might announces as the rest of class 1A stands behind him, unsure of what they had just seen.
Tumblr media
As the day comes to an end, you learn from Kirishima and Mina that Bakugou has been feeling off since the fight lately. "We tried to stop him from leaving, but he just wouldn't listen. Izuku went and ran after him too. If you go now you should be able to catch up to the both of them." Urataka explains, setting the stack of books she's carrying on a desk.
You run out of the classroom, jumping down flights of stairs to get to the entrance of the highschool as quickly as possible. By the time your eyes finally caught sight of the two boys, they were already talking with each other.
"I wasn't hiding my quirk from you. It was given to me by someone else, recently."
You raise your brows, quickly hiding yourself from the both of them. You place a finger gently on your lips as you stared at the floor, listening as Izuku explained to Bakugou.
The next thing you know it, Bakugou was now yelling at the green haired boy. He sounded so upset, as if he wanted to cry. It was clear as day that the blond didn't like losing, not to anyone and especially not to Izuku.
You took a peak, eyes widening as you see Katsuki Bakugou looking so vulnerable with tears in the corners of his eyes, his brows knitted from being so upset with himself. He walks away, slouching as he wipes his tears with the back of his hand.
You step out of your hiding spot, Izuku's expression growing nervous when he sees you. "O-oh hey, hey Y/n! I didn't... ummm... did you..." He looks down, scratching the back of his head. "Did you hear something?"
You stare him down for a moment, unsure of what to answer before sighing. "I'm not going to say anything to anyone nor ask you about it. But I will tell you this." Your words causes Izuku to look up at you in anticipation. "The second you master that power of yours, you have to fight me with everything you've got. Alright?"
Tumblr media
Bakugou grumbles to himself, kicking at a rock, watching as it rolls into a canal. He huffs, annoyed. "I'd tell you you look ugly when you're mad, but then I'd be telling you you look ugly everyday." You yell at him from behind, causing him to turn around.
"School isn't over yet." Bakugou furrows his brows as he watches you make your way towards him. "And yet here we are." You point out, smiling as you put your hands behind your back.
He sighs, adjusting his bag on his shoulder. "What do you want?"
You take out two pink carnival tickets from your pocket, shoving it at his face and waving it in front of him. "I've always went to this carnival with my mom back in the US and I'm feeling kind of homesick. I accidentally bought two tickets too so now you gotta go with me."
You begin to pull at him to which he pulls back, a bored expression resting on his adorable face.
Adorable?
"No." He grunts.
You smile at him, "I wasn't giving you a choice."
