a foggy, mysterious dream where you wake up and don't recall a single thing that happened. did i run across a busy intersection chasing down a supervillain, or was i the one being chased because i possessed the key to something unknown? did i see the face of my soulmate, or were they the personification of something entirely different? you're hard to read in the same way these dreams are - in the moment everything makes sense, until you wake up and suddenly it doesn't anymore.

I actually have thought about trying my luck pursuing traditional publishing! I mean—I have a finished manuscript, LMFAO. It’s the first in a duology! It needs editing (rewriting, really), because I finished it in like, February 2020 and then proceeded to get distracted by the lockdown and the terrible decision to download tiktok (which opened my eyes to BNHA and self-insert fanfic), but it’s done. 📖
It’s Young Adult, because I am always writing for the teenager I was, and is multi-POV’d between our three leads (a grump of boy and the two girls that now have to protect him) and involves them causing wilful damage, in order, to some downtown traffic, the school grounds (multiple times), a grocery store and lastly each other’s (and their own) feelings. 🥹
For a long time I lived in this story, like I do now with my fics—talking to everyone about it, making it everyone else’s problem, fretting over plot choices, etc etc. Taking it from a tentative idea to a outline to finally finishing the first draft was the first time I’d ever completed one of my stories. 🥺 I’ve drawn the main characters over and over again, made them playlists, dedicated notebooks to the story and it’s world—I believe in it fully and absolutely, not because I think it’s anything groundbreaking, but because it’s exactly the kind of story 16-year-old me would’ve curled around and used to daydream with. 🥺
But idk. I’m not very ambitious by nature, lmfao, and you have to be in order to jump through the hoops you need to when it comes to traditional publishing. If there was a way to protect my lil story and still share it freely, without worrying about someone stealing it and sending it to a publisher with their own name slapped over the top, then I would. 🥹 I’ve always liked telling stories. Verbally, to the younger kids in the neighbourhood. In a school notebook that I made my friends read. On roleplaying forums. Uquiz! I’d love to be able to walk into a bookstore and find my book and be like “hehehe that’s mine >:)” but if it never panned out for whatever reason (not finding an agent, for example, or a interested publisher) then—oh well! I did my job; the story got told, even if it was only to me. 📝🌷
Either way, tbh we have more important things to worry about—a traditionally published book is a far-off, future maybe dependant on other people that might never happen. Finishing the Deku fic, on the other hand? It’s right here, right now, and is something I can do by myself. 😌 I will work hard on giving it the end it and u deserve, Anon. 😌 Thank-you for being here. 💖🌷🪻🌾

ok i followed you from your uquiz abt music and it said u wanted more crunchy music so if you can Tolerate and/or Stand noise music i really like Extract 1 (bonus track) by Merzbow and everything on Chronzookie's self-titled EP. if noise music is not ur bag polyriddim (original mix) by phonon successfully put several bees inside my brain, i recommend that one pretty strongly too. and if you really just want Crunch in the sense of Beats And Bass uhhh you can give Body Bag by I Prevail (metalcore), CABIN IN THE WOODS by City Morgue Zillakami SosMula and Jasiah (horrorcore trap? smth like that) and TOMB by yowanecity and KANKAN (upbeat dance music) a go, i'm not sure what exactly qualiies as crunchy these days lol

Oh god, this is very controversial because like I got into a fight about this with someone. But I actually went in fandom-first. A year back, I was extremely stressed and wanted a new show and somehow Tomgreg caught my attention on Tumblr? After reading a few fics on AO3 - and literally writing one, I watched the show and got obsessed.

an anon ask requested me to show my favourite answers to the little text box at the end so i spent like two and a half hours going through every single answer AGAIN since i hadn’t screenshotted any while looking through them the first time. you idiots are so funny and lovely people and here is a big post going through some iconic answers. i hope this can be entertaining but also it is mostly just for me lol
first of all, in one of the questions i mention that i often leave “i fucked ur mom” in the empty text boxes at the end of most uquizes. this then resulted into 43 of you leaving “i fucked ur mom” in the textbox in some way or another and one person asking: “i wonder how many people wrote “i fucked ur mom” after what you said earlier”. some favourite variations of this include:

the first question of the quiz was my favourite one to do because kpop songs are sometimes absolutely fucking bonkers and i wanted to showcase that it was hilarious!!!! i can confirm that not all kpop is like that. i specifically chose the funky ones because i think it does add to character and that is something that i can simultaneously enjoy and also laugh at. but kpop also has amazing lyrics!! it’s not all one thing and kpop is super diverse. i didn’t personally know some of the songs i put in there, i just knew their funky lyrics so i cannot speak for fm but also what the fuck was that song

The “Smooth” is there for 2 reasons:
1 - To race a horse it has to be registered and it’s name needs to be unique within that registry
2 - When breeding horses it’s traditional to keep part of the name of the horse they were bred from in their name. tbh I don’t remember all the details of how that works but one of Smooth Rapidash’s parents would have had “Smooth” in their name.
If you want proof Smooth Rapidash existed you can google “Smooth Rapidash Standardbred” and find some records he is mentioned in.

Ok ok I took your new quizzes and now I really want to ask for an analysis (if you still do that ofc!) I got Heir of Hope on your quiz and my title that I've had for a while has been Witch of Space, what are their similarities and differences? Like in your opinion. Really cool quiz btw, I felt it was really accurate.
Oh no I think I misspelled Witch? This is the Heir of Hope anon, the other Classpect was Witch of Space. Didn't mean to misspell ^^;
Oh thanks!! (And no worries, as far as I can tell u didn’t misspell anything). So there are some similarities between those two Classpects - the Heir is the Passive counterpart to the Witch, and the most Passive Class overall, but aside from that polarity, which I would define as “Assume Direct Control” versus “The [Aspect] Must Flow”, from Active to Passive respectively. They’re both, however, very magical and mysterious Classes with an abundance of raw power and rather less refinement. The Witch and the Heir have been referred to as the Manipulation or Transformation Classes - I personally favor the term Alchemy - but the general idea is the same. Heirs and Witches both lead their Aspect to take on the forms it needs to in order to drive the narrative forward. The difference is that the Witch forces this to happen, where as the Heir might not even recognize that it is happening, at least not at first.
In a word, Witches must force their Aspect to become what it needs to be from without, whereas Heirs must allow their Aspect to make them [the Heir] what they need to be from within. Alternatively, Witches force their Aspect across the threshold, and push the limits of its nature; Heirs are carried across the thresholds of their life by their Aspect.
When it comes to your Aspect, I’m afraid you actually got a Blood - Hope tie, which registered as Hope on your end and Blood on my end for some reason (I manually tallied the results to double-check; I think this is just an idiosyncrasy of uQuiz + the way I structured the quiz allowing for too high a likelihood of a tie. It’s also become clear, now the Quiz has been taken ~100 times, that it skews Bloodways for some reason. Even discounting duplicate test-takers, Blood comes up a good 25% more often than the next most common Aspect (Time), and a full order of magnitude(!) more often than the least common result, which I believe is Breath. Not exactly sure why this is the case, but because of that skew, I’m gonna favor Hope as yr Aspect in this tie, as it’s closer to Space than is Blood.
Space and Hope players both share a sort of grandiose, big-picture view of things - not the same grandiosity as, say, a Time or Light player might have, but more like....just an appreciation of things that are Big and Important. They’re both extremely powerful Aspects that build up slowly, although Hope is more about the Culmination of the buildup and Space is more about the process of building in general.
One might say Space accumulates vastness nonlinearly - expanding to include as much of Everything within its domain as it can - whereas Hope accumulates vastness in a straight line from latency/weakness to Activeness and Power.
Where the Witch of Space wants to sway the whole universe, the Heir of Hope believes in a few specific things, perhaps a god or a person they love or an ideological movement, and allows those things to suffuse them and define them. Do you want to invite Hope to change you and the Spaces around you, or do you want to seize the reins of all of Space in order to fulfill your Hopes? That would be, I think, the deciding question.

when you're angry, all your defenses go up. the unfortunate person or thing that managed to piss you off is suddenly talking to a wall. On the inside, you're screaming and crying and cussing them out, but somehow you can't express it. you're blank. emotionless. to anyone's knowledge, you could be zoning out of a lecture. because of this, it's hard to express how you're feeling when the person asks for your thoughts. you've choked your feelings down, and they won't come back up.
I would say this is Very Accurate honestly. eden doesn’t express a lot of his negative emotions at least Visibly. he has... a lot going on inside his head, and he does everything he can to keep people from finding out exactly what.

usually, you're able to bottle up your emotions and ignore the frustrations. but, after weeks of shoving everything down, your body needs a release, and i pity the poor person who managed to piss you off. it's screaming crying, shouting, kicking lockers, whatever you can do to get it out of your system. it's a whole jean grey moment, fire and fury blasting out of you.
this one I feel like is a bit less accurate. generally if you piss harley off You Know It. ask everyone he got in a fight with in school. he’s very... heart on his sleeve. if he feels, he acts.

i don’t think stiles could be a twin. i simply don’t. what i do think he could be is an oopsie baby. an accident, but a well-loved accident.
that being said, stiles’s sister is really close in age to him. like. y/n was born less than a year before stiles. technically an older sibling, but the details kind of get blurry when the two mesh together
let’s just say noah stilinski has more than a few grey hairs because of the trouble they get into together
oh, and the reason that stiles is so good at lying? he learned from the best :)
stiles and y/n were always close, but when they got into high school they branched out a bit. y/n still hung around with stiles and scott, but she also found her own friend group at BHHS
enter isaac, erica, and boyd
y/n knew something was going on after her brother and scott got back from the woods when they went to look for the other half of the dead body
y/n figured the pair were working through some stuff together, so she didn’t ask
after that night in the woods, scott and stiles hung out with y/n less and less
and in turn, y/n started hanging out with erica, boyd, and isaac more
the four of them were somewhat of a band of misfits, but it worked for them
one time, only isaac and y/n showed up for the group’s study session
they didn’t get much homework done, but they did talk a lot
their issues weren’t the same, but they both knew what it felt like to lack a mother figure within their household
eventually, isaac and y/n grew closer to each other than they did to the rest of the group
they decided to date in secret for a while, but discovered that keeping it from erica and boyd was absolutely exhausting
so the blonde and her buff boyfriend were privy to isaac and y/n’s relationship within two weeks of them officially starting to date
“dude. we knew already.”
“boyd, shut up. tell me how it happened! did he give you flowers?!”
“he probably stole them from some poor bastard’s tombstone”
“boyd, shut up!”
as for telling stiles about her relationship with isaac? well… she wasn’t intentionally hiding it, it just never came up…
and the couple was fine leaving it that way. y/n, for one, knew how protective stiles could be, despite the fact that he was her younger brother. and isaac? as time went on, he realized that stiles wasn’t exactly his biggest fan anyways
everything with the four misfits was fine and dandy for about a year
stiles and scott even seemed to be around more towards the end of the school year
and then isaac’s dad was murdered
and suddenly y/n’s brother and his best friend were nowhere to be found most of the time once again
then isaac started missing their dates
and then erica stopped coming over to y/n’s house
and then boyd stopped showing up to their study sessions
after a week or two of being ignored, avoided, left on read, sent straight to voicemail, and left out of plans, y/n had had enough
y/n all but ambushed isaac at his house and demanded answers. he didn’t cry, he was too emotionally drained for that.
what he did do, however, was spill everything that had been plaguing him, boyd, and erica, for the past few weeks
he told y/n about derek. about the bite. about his dad’s murder and the supernatural nightmare they’d been dealing with
y/n was shocked, to say the least. but she didn’t angry or mad at isaac for keeping it from her. she was just upset that he’d been carrying that burden by himself.
whether derek liked it or not, y/n became a part of the pack. she made it clear from the beginning that she had no interest in getting the bite herself, but that she was along for the ride. she was at all of the training sessions, and if there were any “outings” that they refused to let her come on, she would stay behind to do more research
on the night of the super moon, derek refused to let y/n be anywhere near isaac, erica, or boyd
“it’s too dangerous. you’ll get hurt”
“they would never hurt me!”
“it’s not like that! they don’t have control over themselves. they haven’t figured out their anchors yet…”
y/n begrudgingly stayed home. that didn’t mean she wasn’t still involved though
ironically enough, she figured out additional info about the kanima at the same time as stiles and scott
they all showed up at derek’s warehouse unit at the same time, which led to a series of interesting visual and verbal exchanges
stiles and scott weren’t expecting y/n to be there
y/n wasn’t expecting stiles and scott to be there
and derek, he wasn’t expecting anyone to be there, other than his betas of course
“y/n, what the hell are you doing here?”
“me? what am i doing here? stiles, what the hell are you doing here?!?”
“alright kiddos, my turn. what the hell are ANY of you doing here?!” derek roared, baring his teeth
stiles protectively shoved y/n behind him, to which she rolled her eyes and shoved her younger brother out of her way
y/n stepped towards derek, unbothered by his glowing eyes and extended claws, as she began explaining what she’d found out about the kanima
stiles, who was still dumbfounded and trying to figure out why his sister would be here was snapped out of his trance when he heard y/n discussing the exact same conclusion he’d reached moments before he and scott high-tailed it to the warehouse to tell derek.
stiles jogged up to his sister and derek, fully intending to ignore the betas and avoid accidentally provoking them
the sight of isaac chained up, but otherwise calm (by comparison to his pack mates, anyways), stopped stiles in his tracks
“hey derek, i thought you said they were still pretty feral during full moons. especially tonight. why is isaac so… not feral?”
derek, who was focused on the papers y/n had laid out in front of them, half-heartedly answered stiles’s question in hopes that he’d shut up
“y/n is his anchor. anyways, y/n, so you’re saying that the kanima is-” derek responded flippantly before continuing, but everyone tuned him out from then on
“she’s his what-” stiles exclaimed, eyes practically bulging out of his head
“i’m?? his anchor?? me??” y/n’s face showed a mixture of shock, warmth, and then panic
isaac’s yellow eyes shot open to meet derek’s blue ones, who had just realized his mistake
“shit…” mumbled isaac and y/n in unison

i read ur tags on the dotsuhon uquiz post (im op of the quiz btw that was a sideblog that i posted it on) and u would be correct !! the food question would have given you sasara points hehe... my reasoning was that sasara's canon fave and least fave foods are okonomiyaki and monjayaki and to my understanding they're similar to each other but the texture is different (the latter food has a more liquid texture)
YEAHHHH THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I FIGURED IT WAS AKNDOWKD im very glad to see that little detail acknowledged because its one of the funniest bits of trivia skdnwkdn
